"A newcomer dons a bib and enters the Henderson market with Asian and Cajun flavors, debuting as Angry Crab Shack’s first Nevada location. Diners can order seafood boils by the pound — lobster, Dungeness crab, king crab, snow crab, or crawfish — then add sauces ranging from lemon pepper or garlic to water-based sweet or traditional and choose spice levels from “wimpy” mild to “ridiculously hot” (oddly, scorching scorpion and angry ghost are listed as milder than “ridiculously hot”). Other add-ins include seasonal vegetables, sausage, corn on the cob, red potato, a hard‑boiled egg, or crispy tofu, and the restaurant also offers sandwiches such as a lobster roll, po-boys, and shrimp and crab cakes. Kids have a menu with chicken tenders, mac and cheese, mini corn dogs, or fried shrimp starting at $5. The chain originally opened in 2013 in Mesa, Arizona, and now has six corporate and seven franchise locations with plans to open 100 locations by 2025. The Henderson spot is at 4250 E. Sunset Road (702-998-9095), open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., with online ordering available for takeout and delivery." - Susan Stapleton
