Araya's Place

I haven't been here in so long, but I used to be obsessed, and it was one of my first introductions to vegan food. I came by for a quick lunch catchup with friends and the food was still quite satisfying. We got the lunch deal which was a huge amount of food and variety (dessert included!) so we got tasty leftovers. Staff was very sweet too. The lunch entree options change daily but you can make some choices with customization (curry vs noodles etc), and the spring rolls were super hot and crispy. Glad I came back after all this time :)

Great vegan food at a reasonable price! We didn’t want spicy 🌶️ and onion/garlic , they were able to accommodate our request. Food came promptly within 5/10 minutes on a busy Saturday evening.

Araya's Place is one of the most delicious restaurants in Seattle. I've been coming here for over a decade, and it has never disappointed me. Every single dish is fantastic. I do miss the days of the all-you-can-eat buffet before COVID. One thing that surprised me was the charge for rice with every entrée. When I got a bowl of curry, I didn't anticipate an additional $3 bill for white rice. That was the only disappointing part of the evening. Everything else was fantastic.

Araya’s place not only serves up some amazing vegetarian food, but top tier Thai cuisine in general. We stopped by on a Sunday evening and it wasn’t too busy, but still had a lively atmosphere inside the restaurant. The Tom Yum soup was amazing, and it was great to see the tofu sauté, a delicious vegan take on chicken sauté made with crispy marinated tofu, curry sauce, and served with peanut sauce. The dessert was amazing. We tried the mango sticky rice, and were impressed with the flavor and texture of the rice, and perfect ripeness of the mango. Fantastic!

Such a gem! We celebrated our friends birthday here and the staff was so generous and kind. The food was delicious and atmosphere was lovely. A really special spot that even non-vegans will love. Mango sticky rice and mango salad were especially delicious. Tom Kha was delicious as well. Accommodating for gluten allergies.

I ordered a tom kha soup, and a pad see ew, it was very good, good ambience, and great service, could be a tad bit faster, but I don't mind if good things take a bit longer. The wifi here though is toast. Edit, I again visited this place the food was banging again but the server was not very patient with me. I tried to understand the flavor profile, but they just wont stand my queries. I ordered red curry and brown rice.

Amazing vegan Thai food and I highly recommend!! The place has a great vibe, with chill music, decorations, and art. We went for lunch and I think this may turn more lively with a bar at night. The food itself was amazing. Everything was great. We got the lunch set which was gigantic proportion of red curry, noodles, salad with tofu, 2 spring rolls, red bean dessert, and rice. We also got the cashew curry, which also tastes great. The spicy paste and chili flakes in oil definitely added the right kick and flavor. The Thai iced tea was great too. The lunch set combo is def well worth the price and I can't to go back again. The service was fast, and checking in on us, and being responsive.

Good thai food with a lot of vegan options in u district. Suggested dishes pad thai and noodle curry. Great service and very warm ambience. A very good lunch buffet deal is there too.
