The 18 Best Restaurants In Palma De Mallorca - The Infatuation

"For a meal cooked by one of the island’s top chefs, book a spot at this 17th-century mansion just steps off Jaume III Boulevard in central Palma. The dishes here bring out what makes Mallorcan cuisine unique: expect things like suckling pig with ensaïmada in a ham-and-citrus sauce, crunchy squid-and-aioli sandwiches, and market-fresh fish of the day with tumbet vegetables. Weekday lunch is a great time to come and work your way through a more wallet-friendly three- or five-course tasting menu—think of it as a lightly glammed-up menú del día. Dinner with someone special out on the summer patio is perfect too, with tasting menus that start at around €70." - isabella noble

2 Days in Majorca

"One of them is Aromata, where Andreu Genestra offers informal, urban gastronomy in a stately 17th-century courtyard." - The MICHELIN Guide

"Chef Andreu Genestra’s cuisine, in the impressive surroundings of the HM Palma Blanc, a hotel combining the essence of the Mediterranean with a more innovative architectural design, continues to be influenced by a contemporary gastronomic philosophy and the island’s culinary traditions. The à la carte, which always aims to showcase the best ingredients available daily, is complemented by a successful lunchtime menu (with a choice of dishes) and two tasting-style options in the evening: Aromata and Sentits (to which a selection of cheeses can be added for a supplement). Aromata also has its own urban vegetable garden and a botanical garden-terrace." - Michelin Inspector

Tasting menu was fantastic, excellent value for money. Waiting staff were knowledgeable and attentive without being over bearing. Would recommend!

Food and presentation were great - definitely worth trying. Service staff made couple of mistakes, seemed they didn’t communicate with each other which is a shame. Even though there were 2 waiters for 4 tables - not busy.

Lunch was a very valuable and delightful experience at this Michelin listed restaurant. Only 2 set menus to choose between refer to pictures. The real bargain is the most extensive one. The one dining room is decorated in a simple characteristic way. Service is slow but this is good as it will give you the time to make space for all the courses. Restroom outside in a dedicated modern area of a foundation.

Aromata, located in an alluring glass-roofed internal courtyard, left a lasting impression with its attentive accommodation of my vegetarian preferences, as I had mentioned it prior to my visit. The dishes not only catered to my dietary needs but also showcased a remarkable presentation that pleased both the eyes and the palate. The flavors were a delightful medley, offering a superb variety that tantalized my taste buds. The staff's kindness and attentiveness added to the overall experience, creating a truly memorable dining experience. Although the portions were slightly small, the exceptional quality and aesthetic appeal of the cuisine more than compensated for it.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life. Every dish was executed perfectly. The Porc Negre was one of the tastiest things I’ve ever eaten. The grilled turbot was the best fish dish I’ve ever had. The added caviar was a superb touch. The way the whole menu flowed together was a testament to the chefs knowledge and skill. Impeccable service too. Deserving of a Michelin star.
