"For a meal cooked by one of the island’s top chefs, book a spot at this 17th-century mansion just steps off Jaume III Boulevard in central Palma. The dishes here bring out what makes Mallorcan cuisine unique: expect things like suckling pig with ensaïmada in a ham-and-citrus sauce, crunchy squid-and-aioli sandwiches, and market-fresh fish of the day with tumbet vegetables. Weekday lunch is a great time to come and work your way through a more wallet-friendly three- or five-course tasting menu—think of it as a lightly glammed-up menú del día. Dinner with someone special out on the summer patio is perfect too, with tasting menus that start at around €70." - isabella noble

"The setting (in the stunning patio of an aristocratic property) for chef Andreu Genestra’s more informal dining option in the Mallorcan capital comes as a very pleasant surprise. His contemporary cuisine, influenced by the island’s culinary traditions, is centred on several meticulously prepared tasting menus (one shorter version at lunchtime, with the option of choosing specific plates; and two set menus, both with a slightly more gastronomic feel, in the evening)." - Michelin Inspector

One of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life. Every dish was executed perfectly. The Porc Negre was one of the tastiest things I’ve ever eaten. The grilled turbot was the best fish dish I’ve ever had. The added caviar was a superb touch. The way the whole menu flowed together was a testament to the chefs knowledge and skill. Impeccable service too. Deserving of a Michelin star.

We've enjoyed exceptional meals here in the past, but our recent lunch experience fell a bit short of our expectations. Nevertheless, the lunch menu still offers a good price-performance ratio.

Aromata, located in an alluring glass-roofed internal courtyard, left a lasting impression with its attentive accommodation of my vegetarian preferences, as I had mentioned it prior to my visit. The dishes not only catered to my dietary needs but also showcased a remarkable presentation that pleased both the eyes and the palate. The flavors were a delightful medley, offering a superb variety that tantalized my taste buds. The staff's kindness and attentiveness added to the overall experience, creating a truly memorable dining experience. Although the portions were slightly small, the exceptional quality and aesthetic appeal of the cuisine more than compensated for it.

Excellent ‘long’ tasting menu. Excellent service, really attentive. Good pace for the dishes being served too. The sommelier recommended two great wines to go with the dishes. Would highly recommend. My best meal in Mallorca (so far)!

Great experience in a beautiful building with minimalistic interior design. Helpful, friendly staff. We were 3 adults and 2 small children and they were understanding with them and accommodating. Our french waitress was absolutely lovely and very helpful. We were there for lunch and tried the three course menu for 32€. Our favorites were the stuffed zucchini flower starter and the gorgeous duck magret, which was exceptionally soft and flavorful. Great chocolate croquette with tonka bean ice cream. Good wine selection. Would definitely come back , great price/quality.

Lunch was a very valuable and delightful experience at this Michelin listed restaurant. Only 2 set menus to choose between refer to pictures. The real bargain is the most extensive one. The one dining room is decorated in a simple characteristic way. Service is slow but this is good as it will give you the time to make space for all the courses. Restroom outside in a dedicated modern area of a foundation.

We absolutely adored our lunch at Aromata! The €38 for three courses is an absolute steal as you also get amazing snacks to start and petit fours (the most delicious magdalena I’ve ever had). The service was exceptional and it felt very very special for such a cheap price! The restaurant itself is stunning and has a lovely atmosphere. Highlights for us food wise were the duck terrine, deliciously light corvina and the popcorn panna cotta!
