"Dinner at Aromi Italian Restaurant starts with a duck prosciutto salad in a sweet Maui onion dressing or burrata atop a golden beet carpaccio. Spaghetti neri in lobster bisque, rabbit ragout pappardelle, and octopus and cioppino are just some of the dishes Castellanos recommends. Other favorites include bread and thyme-crusted New Zealand lamb chop or branzino in prosseco sauce. The restaurant also features a risotto of the day." - Janna Karel

"Aromi Italian Restaurant from executive chef German Castellanos and his partner, pastry chef Alessandro Stoppa, debuted in the former Nittaya’s Secret Kitchen space in Summerlin after the Thai restaurant moved around the corner. They met at the former Valentino at the Venetian, where Castellanos worked as chef de cuisine and Stoppa was the pastry chef. In 2016, the pair opened Vanilla and Pepper Catering. Now the two friends have a restaurant featuring classic Italian dishes for lunch and dinner. Castellanos highlights some of his favorite dishes on the menu. A duck prosciutto salad comes in a sweet Maui onion dressing and burrata tops a golden beet carpaccio to start. Spaghetti neri in lobster bisque, rabbit ragout pappardelle, and octopus and cioppino are just some of the dishes Castellanos recommends. Other favorites include bread and thyme-crusted New Zealand lamb chop or branzino in Prosseco sauce. The restaurant also features a risotto of the day. Come for lunch or head out to the tiny patio" - Susan Stapleton

A truly amazing Italian experience by an outstanding chef, and supporting team. The food is exquisite! We tried the Fritto Miso for appetizers, a risotto, and I had the carbonara as a main entree. Portions are great and still had some food leftover to take home. Desserts are also shareable and had a truly delicious crème brûlée. Wine selection is outstanding and the staff is knowledgeable on pairing options. Will highly recommend for celebrations and for a night out!

This is our first time here. The restaurant is an intimate and warm space and we were immediately greeted! Rachel was amazing, personable and bubbly. She recommended the Black Truffle Tagliatelle and Crab cakes that my partner had ordered. The food was a 10/10! I had ordered the Rigatoni and the pasta was perfectly cooked and extremely savory. He loved his tagliatelle which was on a bed of Parmesan fondue! Will return again!

Fairly empty at 6pm on a Saturday, only a few patrons came & went during my time there. I was not promptly acknowledged upon entry, but once seated, very well served. First impression of ambiance was basic, quiet, not unattractive or special. Wine and water promptly offered and fresh housemaid bread with garlic oil was presented. I was in the mood for class and linguini, they did not disappoint. My 1st bite had a bit of shell crunch, which scared me, but no other bites did. Excellent cesar dressing on my salad, delectable tiramisu.

We all had not been there before, but one of our party had, and she was excited to return. Now we see why. Begin with the burrata, and you'll start off happy. Wine is priced affordably, and it is a lovely compliment to every bite. If you'd like, they can offer beverage suggestions after taking your order to pair for you. The specials are certain to catch your eye, and they are delicious! I was wowed by the mushroom risotto. The special pasta (sausage, tomatoes, greens, topped with ricotta salata) was also fantastic, and the cingale papardelle was a winner as well. (Sorry I forgot to take a photo of that, but it was hearty and beautiful as well.) To end the meal, we chose to share the two dessert specials: mango créme brulee and strawberry cheesecake. Yes to both! Coffee, port, and wine accompanied these desserts very well. We're excited to go back soon.

Wow! Had gotten takeout that was good. Went back for lunch right before Christmas at lunch for 3 of us. Had caprese, mussels and the special risotto. All were absolutely amazing. The tiramisu was a strong finish. Went back for dinner tonight which starts at 3pm. The bread is wonderful, warm and crispy throughout. Started with the caprese again and it was spectacular. The basil-infused EVOO is wonderful. Ordered the bolognese and changed pasta from rigatoni to pappardelle. The bolognese is all beef (preferred) and everything was perfect. The saffron risotto special with shrimp. The shrimp was halved and grilled in shell and was easy to separate. We added the chicken parm which was crispy and juicy. The sauce was tasty. We were all stuffed after wonderful dishes, but decided to split an order of cannoli. First bites were followed by more expletives than a Dice Clay/Eddie Murphy concert. ( in a good way ). After Boston North End trips and NJ shore ventures, it did not see possible to experience anything new. It is. Another pair was ordered for later. Oh, and today, all bottles of wine half price w a pasta dish. Service was amazing both trips, super-attentive with great recommendations. We will return! While not as posh as Al Posto Solito or Osteria Fiorello (Been to both multiple times), the food and service is better here. [update Sept 2024] Came in specifically for the lamb Osso Buco served over risotto. I can’t say enough about this dish. It was perfection. Could not be more satisfied. (Added pic)

Amazing food, great service would absolutely recommend to anyone. I don't live on this side of town so when my family got hungry I remembered Atomic was close by and I had been meaning to try it. I'm very glad we did. Table bread was unique and delicious. The charcuterie was well put together with plenty to take home. We tried the short rib ravioli, carbonara, and pasta of the day which was a truffle and prosciutto pasta that was fantastic. The dessert special was a mango creme brulee that had us all wishing we had more room to have one each. Italian can be difficult but this restaurant makes it seem easy and when I find myself in summerlin we will definitely be back.

I tried this restaurant for the first time on 22 Dec 2022, and I think around that time, the restaurant was still fairly new because there weren't a lot of customers in the restaurant...or perhaps it's because we went there on a Thursday evening and it was close to Christmas? Regardless, all I can remember is how excellent the food and service were during that visit and as a result, I made it a mission to return for round 2. Unfortunately, I didn't think it was going to take me nearly 15 months to revisit this restaurant...but, all that matters is I actually kept my word. My wife and I returned to this restaurant on 1 Mar 2024, ~ 6:45 pm, and I'll start by saying that everything was outstanding as I remembered it. When we walked in, we were greeted by probably one of the friendliest hostess I've experienced here in Las Vegas. She allowed us to be seated right away which was appreciated since we arrived significantly earlier than our reservation time. I didn't get her name but she had braces and was the only one working that front podium when we arrived. After we got seated, our server, Steven N., introduced himself with warmth and with such professionalism. He carefully explained all the daily special items, to include adding some personal touches to his explanation...meaning, he didn't sound robotic or monotone at all. Throughout the night, Steven maintained his efficiency and attentiveness, ensuring everything was good, yet, he balanced it well and didn't pester us like you experience at a car dealership or furniture store. We ordered the Filetto, Daily Special (Veal Chop), Wild Mushroom Soup with Lobster Meat (Soup of the Day), Crabmeat Bruschetta (Appetizer of the Day); and for dessert, the Vanilla Bourbon Cake (Daily Special). Everything, to include the dessert, was hands-down extraordinary...which should say a lot considering I don't enjoy dessert as much as others do. I've also attached a couple of pictures from our first visit (Cioppino and Pollo Marsala), but couldn't find the picture of our third entrée (which was the Ravioli). As I eluded to earlier, everything we've tasted at Aromi thus far, was remarkable. Overall, this restaurant is phenomenal; from the restaurant's décor, to the superb customer service, all the way to the high quality food. This business is one of those hidden gems that needs to be everywhere in the city, to include the Las Vegas strip. I appreciate the pseudo-seclusion with its current location - it's a lot quieter whenever I visit, but this place is way too good to only have one restaurant. Prices are very reasonable and they have a great wine selection which are affordable...unlike those other restaurants that mark up their bottles of wine by 125%. If you've never tried this place, then please make a reservation and head that way at the soonest - you won't be disappointed.
