The 12 Best Restaurants At JFK Airport

"The best thing you can get at Artichoke is a breakfast stromboli, which is made with pizza dough and stuffed with eggs, cheese, sausage, and vegetables. It makes for an ideal hangover cure if you took a cab from the club to the airport, or simply just want to make everyone at the gate within wafting distance jealous." - anne cruz

I am a big fan of the classic artichoke basil pizza and every time I visit the city, it is a must on my trips. So, when flying I just had to get a slice. However, this experience was quite disappointing. This pizza is not remotely comparable to the places in the city. The pizza itself is mostly dough, severly lacking any sauce. I would not recommend this place to anyone and would suggest waiting until you get to the city before getting a delicious artichoke pizza.

Google
So the service here is good and the lady who makes the pizza is very nice. However the recipe here is nothing compared to the locations in the city. It’s basically a slice of bread with like the least amount of cheese possible and I’m very sad because I normally love an artichoke slice. :( very very sub par unfortunately. Wait until you get into the city to get a slice.

Google
They have one of the worst pizzas in the world. Even the school cafeteria served better pizzas than this. I bought 4 slices of different vegetarian pizzas for the family. Our children love pizzas but didn't want any of it after taking a small bite from their slices. The sauce was horrible; moreover, the cheese and the dough weren't cooked properly. Finished one slice through utter difficulty and had to throw the rest. I don't like wasting food, but this was an exception. The taste and smell were disgusting. I had a major heartburn after finishing the slice. Crazy price for the worst tasting/quality food. Airport having limited restaurants is helping them. Other than that, the customer service was exceptional. The review is a bit delayed (experience from mid-May).

Google
A bit pricey for a slice of pizza. I got the Staten Island slice and it was fine. Nice portion honestly. This place looked better and was the cheapest of the options at the food hall at Terminal 5 tbh. I ordered it through their QR link and I got my pizza within 5 minutes. Guy who handed me my food was super nice .

Google
I have eaten at this JFK location at least a few times previously, and the quality of the pizzas was excellent. However, today, the quality was unacceptably poor: dry, little cheese, and clearly not well prepared. If I or anyone reading this considers buying from here, try your best to examine the pizzas they have on display. If it doesn't look fresh or acceptable, and doesn't look like it has a lot of cheese (ie "gooey"), don't buy it.

Magda Gonzalez

Google
The most delicious pizza slice at JFK's Jet Blue terminal. Wow! Enjoy!

Naomi Rivera

Google
Great pizza, it was fresh, there have a special of the day but you have to ask for it. And it was pretty fast.

Carrie Suen

Google
Average airport pizza. Had the Artichoke pizza. The sauce and cheese were light and mild. A bit bready, flavors were okay. The bottom crust was a bit dry and burned. Quick service.

Yelp
Not as good as good a in the city of NY. The taste is doughy. Not as flavorful as Time Square Artichoke restaurants. I guess this will do since I'm leaving NY. It's a 3/10.
google avatar

Jen Y.

Yelp
Looked good but tasted terrible. Didn't know you could screw up pizza so badly. I was hungry but I threw it out after a few bites, which I never do because I hate wasting food. At $7 a slice it's cheaper than other airport food but it takes forever and they have the worst packaging for airport to-go food. Hard pass.

Yelp
I was only at JFK for stop over. I love Artichoke Basille in Oakland and Berkeley, and thought this would be ok at least. To me pizza is either good or bad. This place is on the bad list. I'm not sure what went wrong. It tasted terrible. I couldn't even finish it, and it wasn't as big as it is normally. I know it's airport food but at least for $10 work something out. You order from a kiosk and they call out your name. Staff wasn't friendly or care. Possibly why this pizza is simply unacceptable.
google avatar

Angela L.

Yelp
Nothing wow about this place at all. There is no interaction with anyone as you order on a screen. The very little service I got was not what you would say friendly. Artichoke pizza was not good either .... It legit came apart... ... even the crust wasn't impressive. Tried to save some money to avoid paying 20 something for food but this is close to 9$ and not worth it.
google avatar

Cindy Z.

Yelp
I am usually a big fan of Artichoke Basille's Pizza, but please skip this location at JFK. Unfortunately, the food is all cold and not even that great when reheated. I can't even say for the pizza slices, but they didn't look fresh at all. Even though you can get pizza here, they also offered some breakfast strombolis in the morning. I got a Ham, Egg, Cheese, Pepper, and Onions Stromboli ($11.99), which was disappointing. The eggs were even a bit rubbery and there was no flavor whatsoever. For the price, my companion had a breakfast bagel at another location which was 10x much better. Spend your money elsewhere or skip the food at the airport altogether.

Yelp
Don't do it. A total waste of $20. I got the artichoke slice and vodka slice. Both were trash. I've had an artichoke slice in the past at the location in the village I remember it being delicious. Maybe they fell off or maybe the recipe is different or maybe it's just the airport location but both these slices went into the garbage. That's how bad they both were.

Yelp
I was in the airport for what was supposed to be a quick layover, however, after the third extension, I was hungry. Taking a stroll through the food court, I decided on Artichoke. I mean, how could I be in New York, hungry, pizza right in front of me, and I don't get any. As such, I headed to the Artichoke line and placed my order for a Pepperoni Slice and a Meatball Parm Slice via the kiosk. This kiosk was super simple and efficient and my order was placed and paid for all within 2 minutes at most. Once my order was placed, I stood in line until my name was called. As the slices I chose were part of the ones already done, I got to see them go in the oven to be heated and come out all bubbly and hot. Once out the over, they were covered, put in the bag, and my name was called. I headed to the open area in the courtyard to have a seat and enjoy my pizza and enjoy is exactly what I did. Each slice was perfect. The thin crust, with the perfect layer of sauce. The right spread of cheese and the meat was high quality. As I anticipated, the authentic taste was present with each slice and tasted as if it was slow cooked in a brick oven. Hands down, though this was a fast food experience, the pizza is restaurant quality. If you're in the Terminal and in the mood for some pizza, def stop past Artichoke and head to the kiosk to place your order.

Yelp
Ok so I flew in from nyc super early and it was delayed the flight and I made the mistake of not eating on the plane and let's face it that snacks are not food So I couldn't handle it and decided to eat after I arrived vs people eating before they leave lol Many of the food court areas or even restaurants were long lines but yeah this place was almost empty and for a reason It's super slow even with no people they took their time despite all the pizza being ready and sitting there They heat it up to bring it back to life lol Honestly I don't give it horrible low scores because it wasn't bad at all. Could use some more cheese but yeah given this is New York I had more expectations but I was hungry I mean starving and I needed something and this definitely did the trick but I should have looked at help first before saying yes lol but hey it's fine it's fine just needs some help

Yelp
Pizza by the slice is one of the few foods that just sits out on display for you before you order. Meaning, I could tell that this wasn't a great idea, but my kid wanted pizza, and I ordered it anyway. Artichoke slices in particular are best at around 2:30 am in the East Village, after taking too many shots (any shots is often too many), because you need a gutbomb to soak up the alcohol so you aren't severely hungover the next day. Unfortunately, this was about 11 am, and I was dead sober, and fully aware of the bad decision I was making. And I was right. My kid's margherita slice was not good. I'm thankful the guy behind the counter cut it into little pieces for her, but nothing was going to get her to eat much of it, because she's used to good pizza. My vodka square tasted of nothing so much as cream, which was even more unfortunate. I didn't eat it all, which is something I almost never say. If I get to choose, and I probably won't, I wouldn't come back for this. In closing, I do want to say that pizza in New York is usually quite good. Unfortunately, an airport is not really anywhere; it lives on a different plane of existence. So, travelers in JFK Airport, please do not judge our city's pizza by this abomination.

Yelp
I was stuck overnight at JFK airport once. I had pizza from here. I fly 100 times per year. I've eaten here before. For airport pizza, it is not bad. It is what it is, and you can predict in advance the taste and the texture. Kudos to them for being open at 3am. That is what I appreciated most. The guy in front of me, however, blocked two kiosks, and he lingered inexplicably after placing his order. I am not posting a deranged one star review disparaging the restaurant. I am, however, "venting" by noting the inconsiderate behavior of other patrons. That is a sideeffect of automation, using machines to take orders. I posted a photo of a painting hanging there, with the Kennedy brothers. I don't know anything about the artist or the provenance. It seems to me they have too many teeth. But that's folk art for you.
google avatar

Larissa M.

Yelp
If you're used to Artichoke's in the city, temper your expectations. This is not that. You order & pay through a computer and then wait, for a while. After waiting for a while, the guy told me he was giving me a completely different & less expensive slice than I paid for because he didn't have the pizza I ordered. I didn't even want the kind that he insisted I take. I asked about a refund for the price difference. He has me find someone in an orange apron. There is one person that fits this description managing a different restaurant. She was very flustered. Had me scan a QR code while screaming at the pizza guys for my order number, which they couldn't find. She runs away. Pizza tastes terrible. Threw away after a couple bites...this terminal is in desperate need of a lounge.
google avatar

Kyle J.

Yelp
This location is not like a traditional Artichoke pizza location in my opinion so I'd avoid it. The line and food ordering system in this section of JFK is so confusing and the lady at the counter was giving people wrong orders out twice before mine. I like the artichoke pizza topping itself and it wasn't like the others you would get elsewhere, very disappointing and more dough than anything.
google avatar

John S.

Yelp
I had reasonable expectations. This is an airport spot after all but it turns out that my hopes were way too high. This is a fast food pizza joint turning out subpar slices. The crust looked decent but tasted less like a good dough and more like straight white flower. The pepperoni cups had decent flavor but the sauce was lacking (and very light). The meatballs were seriously unseasoned and the consistency of the slices were all over the place. I had the Staten island 3/10 and the pepperoni 4/10. I should've grabbed a bagel.
google avatar

Laura G.

Yelp
Have had their pizza in past and has been way better. The Ala vodka pizza was too thick and hard to eat. Server just slapped it on a plate and threw a plate over it causing sauce everywhere. Def more a knife and fork slice. Margarita slice was great
google avatar

S K.

Yelp
People here have no clue what they are doing. Took 30 mins to get three slices. There was one person in front of us.

Mr. P.

Yelp
I don't think I've ever paid so much for such a crappy slice of pizza. I get it, it's in an airport so I wasn't expecting anything great but this place is very disorganized. One guy just standing there cutting and recutting the same dried out pizzas (I guess to try and look busy). The other guy looking at the screen to put the orders together as slowly as possible. He put my slices in the oven and then the pizza cutting guy immediately turned around and took them out I guess not realizing they were only in there for 15 seconds. So after waiting 15 min for 2 slices of pizza they were also cold and dry.
google avatar

Sara K.

Yelp
Honestly I'm surprised how bad the rating is. If you travel as often as I do, you know airport food isn't going to be that great but this pizza honestly was pretty decent for an airport (not the best I've had but no complaints). The price was great too. Came to $7.61 with tax and it's a big slice. I'd rather pay that for a decent slice than sit down in a restaurant and pay $25 for a meal I won't like plus tipping a server. They had a good variety of slices to choose from; thin slices and thick squares and different toppings. White pizza too. They are on display and will put in the oven to warm up and make it crisp. The 2 employees I interacted with were friendly and made eye contact and smiled. Be advised, you do order from their kiosk at the end of the counter versus telling them and cashing out with a human cashier. This is in terminal 5 food court.
google avatar

Mary L.

Yelp
I'm surprised at the terrible reviews. I got my big Staten Island slice quickly, paid $7 and change, and am really enjoying it. $7 for a filling snack in between flights, quick service, and very tasty pizza-- that's better than I hope for in airport food.
google avatar

Erin N.

Yelp
Wow...the reviews are very accurate. They're not even trying here. Sad, because I'm on my way back to Florida where good pizza is few and far between. I missed my opportunity to get a slice in the city this weekend, and set my expectations lower since this is an airport. I thought that since this is a well respected location in Little Italy, their airport location would at least be decent. It's not, it took forever; but why?? Slices are barely heated, what are we waiting for? The crust was not fresh in flavor or texture. One star for the flavor of the sauce and the cheese. All this said, it's still better than all the chains and the vast majority of places near my home. Do better Artichoke, this'll make people avoid your original location.
google avatar

Andres A.

Yelp
The pizza was average. You're at the airport so what do you expect. I needed something quick and on the run. It did the job. You order on a tablet then pickup at the end of the counter. You don't talk to anyone just order and pay.
google avatar

Trisha L.

Yelp
The pizza sits out in a window as does most pizza by the slice in NY. My husband and I love NY pizza so we were excited to see this on our layover in terminal 5 at JFK. I thought the pizza looked bad but my husband wanted to get it anyway. $7/slice and they literally did not even put his in the oven. Mine was fine. Not the worst, DEFINITELY NOT the best!! Luckily, we were not far from the place when we learned they only gave my husband completely uncooked pizza so he was able to go back for cooked slices. He said his was then fine but he would never order it again. Edit to add that their ordering system lost someone else's order. The poor guy had been waiting a long time and they tried to tell him he hadn't ordered. He had opted to have the receipt texted to him, so he was able to show them. I always opt for that option when I go places too, as this has happened to me before.
google avatar

Tracy N.

Yelp
Slice of pizza was $7 and not great, but the breakfast Stromboli was actually horrible. They reheat all your items in the oven for several minutes and yet the bottom of the Stromboli still came out cold. The dough is raw and chewy--you can see it's still partially translucent in my photo. The eggs aren't salted, and there's hardly any sausage, so all you can taste is raw dough.

Andy R.

Yelp
A soggy mess. I expect to pay double at the airport but for $10 a slice I would hope for decent quality. This must have been sitting out for too long, over sauced or something bec the crust was totally water logged. What a disappointment bec the one in the city is good.
google avatar

Simone H.

Yelp
Like another reviewer mentioned, cheapest option in the court, $7 a slice, and not bad wait time. I did not read the reviews before trying it. I did notice, it took me 15mins to eat one slice. It didn't look thick but it tasted thick. I got the artichoke pizza. I wish it was hotter. It was ok, not much flavor but I did eat it. This is I'm hungry food. It's whatever.
google avatar

Amara R.

Yelp
Come here because it's like the cheapest food option, not because you're expecting a good slice. At $7 each for pepperoni, 2 slices is a better deal than other options around. This is where the "good" stops. The dough was so thick and chewy and doughy. There was no crisp to be found anywhere on that pizza. It must've been sliced too hot, because the cheese was sliding off. The pepperoni was sliced a little too thick for my liking, but that could just be how Artichoke serves them. My two stars are for the fact that the flavor of the sauce was fine. They seem to move quickly enough, dispensing with the longish line I was in before I was able to be even slightly annoyed. The moral of the story here is, have your expectations low. Very low. Or, eat before you arrive and save yourself the trouble!
google avatar

Adam B.

Yelp
There are a few locations around the city, but I often pass by because there's so many great inexpensive slice shops everywhere. The airport is a bit more limited with choices and you usually have low expectations. So a perfect time to try one of their signature slices. Artichoke Slice: A massive amount of food for one slice. It's kinda like the dough of a deep dish pizza with a bunch of creamy spinach artichoke dip on top. Definitely not a NY slice by any means, but kind of cool in its own right. Very cheesy and very indulgent. Unlike anything I've seen elsewhere. Unfortunately, they reheated it a bit too long and the bottom was slightly burnt. So that took away from the experience a bit.
google avatar

Monique W.

Yelp
I was flying out of JFK on a Friday evening and ended up catching a earlier flight to Las Vegas, having approximately 20 minutes until boarding for the flight. I wanted to grab a quick bite to eat and saw Artichoke Basille's Pizza. The line was relatively short for this pizza place inside JFK, Terminal 5. I walked up the counter and asked for a cheese pizza. It was warmed in the oven and provided promptly. The check-out was pretty seamless. $7.00 for a slice of cheese pizza though! The pizza slice was still cold, the cheese wasn't melted. The slice did have plenty of sauce on it though. The dough was extremely thick. Service was quick though and I was able to make my flight with no issues!

Norm S.

Yelp
Easily the worst pizza I've had in New York all week. Excited to try it hurt a lot about it but boy oh boy was it awful. Cold greasy and tasteless. Skip this $10 slice.
google avatar

Jando S.

Yelp
Whether one is a curious tourist or a desperate local, I'm finding no one wins when it comes to the airport version of Artichoke. This isn't the NY pizza that is worth traveling from wherever you came from nor is it the pizza of yesteryear during its heyday in the East Village. This is overpriced airport pizza bearing the same name. And sadly, I fit amongst the curious *and* desperate folk. Having grown tired of the JetBlue CIBO options over the years, the sample display pizzas have me wondering if things have improved over the years. The curiosity turns into something more and eventually I'll find myself desperate to try it again. Yet somehow I've succumbed to the mediocrity by paying the price (#1) every time. The crust for many of their pizzas have been dry, thick, and sometimes overly doughy. Something is off with the sauce(s) and more of than not the pizza doesn't hold well and the toppings end up sliding right off. Whether it's undercooked or burnt on the bottom, it's almost a guarantee that it's going to be a messy meal. I would normally say it's better to aim for a pepperoni slice versus the standard artichoke, but I've struck out with almost all of them at some point. Then there is the off-chance that there is a pizza that is properly cooked and somewhat of a representation of the real thing. Is it nearly $8 a slice good? No. Is the service comparable to the pizza? It might actually be worse. Ultimately, is it worth the airport meal while waiting for a flight? Not really, there's definitely better food in Terminal 5. __________ (#1) Literally and figuratively.
google avatar

Jen H.

Yelp
Yea...just as everyone had mentioned, it was pretty terrible. It was pretty stale, cardboard tasting. Not Soggy, but stale. I am now curious what the other artichoke pizzas taste like that are not in the airport....
google avatar

Richa T.

Yelp
So, this place is a disgrace to airport food and cannot even call it's pizza a pizza. The crust is soggy/stale and so poorly packaged that eating this becomes such a mess. Service is pretty slow. When I got here, I felt terrible as there was only one person taking care of such a large crowd. As for pricing, $15 for two slices is terrible. IG: @QueenOfAdventureNYC
google avatar

Lia M.

Yelp
I don't like traditional breakfast options, so was excited to see that Artichoke's offers pizza starting around 8:00 a.m. I was also craving a NY slice. Sadly, this is not the place to get it. The pizza was flavorless, with a soft crust and it was overloaded. I ate it because I was starting and I knew I would not be eating a full meal with another 12 hours, but yeah...not for me. I was so disappointed because I'd always wanted to try an Artichoke Basille's but I guess I was better off not.
google avatar

Nicole D.

Yelp
After surveying the total lack of food options in Terminal 5, I figured no one could mess up pizza that badly. I was wrong. This is now officially the worst pizza I've ever had in my life. The crust was grey and tasted like cardboard. The cheese was so greasy it was sliding off in puddles.
google avatar

Shaji K.

Yelp
One of the few places open for breakfast in the terminal on a Monday morning. No pizza to speak of, only premade breakfast sandwiches or strombolis to be heated in the oven (bummer). Decided on the Bacon Egg & Cheese Stromboli, however they ended up giving me the Bacon Egg & Cheese Croissant ($6.95) instead. Croissant is very greasy and the eggs weren't seasoned, but the bacon is nice and the cheese is evenly distributed. Again, would have just preferred the pizza options. Given the line, food took about 15 minutes to come out. The items here are relatively cheap compared to the other spots, though wouldn't come back for breakfast.
google avatar

Nikhil R.

Yelp
This is sad, sad pizza. Looking at it will make you not want it at all. The pizza itself is floppy, undercooked or overcooked depending on what you get, and dry. Sauce is a bit tasteless as well.
google avatar

Ashley D.

Yelp
Food 2/5 Service 2/5 Ambiance: standard for a food court area I guess. Pizza was "heated" up for maybeee 30 seconds so it's still only lukewarm at best. Cheese is cold still. They got 2 of 3 slices correct. We ordered a Sicilian, artichoke, and meatball parm. Got Sicilian, artichoke, and margherita. Got all the way to my gate to realize I didn't get my meatball one and I'm so upset but not willing to walk to several minutes back to get it corrected because it's just NOT WORTH IT. So disorganized and not worth the money unless they're slow and able to actually do it right. $7 plus tax each slice to be so disappointed. The guys running it are not the best. Waste of time and money. I should have just gotten the salad bar.
google avatar

Doreen T.

Yelp
I am not sure what is all the grief here? Coming form LAX and paying $20 for a mediocre burrito, a $7 slice pizza at airport is actually not too bad. This was our very last meal before heading back home. We were in NYC for 5 days with amazing meals including lotsa pizza. What we didn't have a chance to try was Artichoke's pizza so we're like okay here's our chance! The wait for the pizza was not too bad, I want to say 5-7 mins. The crust is not as crunchy as the ones we had in the city. The Artichoke's pizza was quite creamy and cheesy. And Staten Island with meatballs, red onions and ricotta I would say decent. We are experience travelers and know that you can't really fault airport food. Even when we had lounge privileges we can't say it was amazing either. Overall it was just a decent meal so you won't be starving on your flight home.
google avatar

Ahmad F.

Yelp
The worst service The worst price The worst quality Half cheese on half slice Dont even think this is real artichoke A rip off and a lie I love other athichoke spots but this one i warn...
google avatar

Austin B.

Yelp
This location is situated in the jfk Airport in the adorable little market that also has other little places to buy items from. While I heard amazing things about this place, the pizza was subpar. My first concern about this counter service shop was the two workers behind the counter, talking in Spanish and cursing. If a customer is waiting to order, don't continue a conversation, while looking at the customer, seeing 'mierda'. Once finally getting acknowledged, the worker was standoffish and looked annoyed to be needing to work. I ordered a slice of the Artichoke pizza and he warmed it in the oven. Even though he warmed the pizza, once I was able to eat it a moment later, it was still cold. When I went back (with a couple bites taken out) to tell them the slice was still cold, he took the eaten pizza and placed it right back into the COMMUNAL pizza oven. For seven dollars a slice, it's a nice size but nothing to rave about. The pizza was overly saucy, basically everything sliding off the pizza because of the amount of sauce. I think If I tried another location with better pizza (and workers) I would appreciate it more. This place though, not impressed at all.
google avatar

Carmen M.

Yelp
This is my first experience with NY Style pizza while in New York at the JFK Airport. Slices were big and foldable. Delicious toppings. We did get three total slices to try them. The Artichoke Pizza is delicious but it had too much sauce and it made the dough soggy. If you can recommend a place to go to in NY, let me know. I would like to try NY style pizza again. Service was fast, locale within Airport was clean. It was a quick eat before catching our next flight.
google avatar

Dabe M.

Yelp
Greasy and the texture of cardboard... Plus you wait 20 min for a $7 slice that's cold by the time you wait another 10 min to pay for it. NYC is renowned for it's pizza but this is the best they can do in their biggest airport??? Next time I'll wait until I get back to Rochester.
google avatar

Hsin-Yi W.

Yelp
We were surprised and excited to see Artichoke Basille's Pizza which is our favorite pizza brand at JFK airport Terminal 5. The pizza was not as good as the location in the city but still decent. However, their service was extremely awful and slow. We waited about 10 minutes after pay even there was no line at 9:00 pm on a Friday night.
google avatar

Steinlee S.

Yelp
Maybe i don't know good pizza or maybe I caught it on a good day. I ended up grabbing a slice of fresh pepperoni... the last slice of a fresh pie. YES like the other reviews it was greasy, cheap, and tasty. I mean what do you expect it's 7 bones. And if im absolutely being honest i woild have got 2 slices but i didnt want to wait fot a fresh pie. The line moved decently fast I only waited like 5 min max. I ended up asking for cheese and red peppers... the shaker had garlic powder and the other crushed red peppers. It actually enhanced the taste if you ask me lol. But over all was a good experience. I'm open to recommendations too anyone pass feel free to reach out. I've had Chicago deep dish, new York pizzas the one that's in the stone building like a church looks like. Idk if that is standard in NY. I'm from California and I like the pizza today. My favorites from the west side is round table pizza. The crust is weak but I think the flavor is better than many. Anyhow those are my 2 cents
google avatar

Jeremy C.

Yelp
Been coming to Artichoke's Pizza for years, every time I'm at JFK. The ABSOLUTE worst pizza in New York, literally Dominoes is better. Heck, Pizza Hut is better. And why do I keep coming back to Artichoke's Pizza? Because there's no line.
google avatar

Riley B.

Yelp
It's horrifying to me that visitors to New York are eating this thinking it's a slice from a famous NY chain. Yes, it's airport pizza, but even Sbarro can dole out an edible slice at the airport. $7 for these slices...just ridiculous. As other reviewers have mentioned, the original Artichoke recipes are on the wall, but clearly not adhered to whatsoever. My wife's slice had so much grease, it bled through the plate onto the table. One of those situations when you could think a napkin onto the slice and it would become translucent. When the pizza is good, fine, maybe worth the calories. But this is not good pizza. Artichoke, you should be ashamed that you licensed your name out to airport provisions. T5 is a barren wasteland for food, but I'd rather just not eat anything than eat that again.

Yelp
How dare you? How could you possibly find satisfaction with the result of your work given the deplorable quality? How could you possibly think this a decent pizza to share with travelers who are passing through our noble city? In fairness, I have been a fan of Artichoke Basille's pizza in the East Village for years! It's great; what you are selling is .0365% as good as a dollar slice, yet, it's priced around 8 per slice! I was again famished and the first time I tried your pizza, it wasn't great. I thought it may have been an off day. In a pre-flight need for nourishment, I decided to give it another chance. Big mistake. Perhaps, one of my worst culinary decisions I've ever made. Now, I'll boycott your other locations for the culinary deplorable experience I had for a second time at JFK. I'd rather face my circumstance of pre-diabetes eating those 100 calorie packs of cheese-it's on Jet Blue than dining on what you call "pizza." Of note, the pizza had so much grease I could have went through a roll of paper towels to clean it up. It wasn't properly heated, and was soggy. Flavor? None at all. The mediocre cheese and dough seemed to be in a race to the bottom, with an epic tie of Olympic proportions. Congrats on this failure! To close, here's a little poem for your pizza: To weary travelers, from near and far, Famished and seeking NYC classics, Seek anything else, Including from vending machines, Rather than taste, Upon this soggy circle of salty dissatisfaction!

Yelp
Never in my life I've I waited 25 minutes to order at the jfk food court. Was ignored by the "pizza cutter" or the person who should have been taking orders instead of slowly and not efficiently cutting 8 pizzas before looking up at me and then promptly walking away to use her phone. There was about 10 minutes in between myself and the person who ordered before me. After all that this is my $7 slice. Ridiculous.

Yelp
Artichoke Basille's Pizza is a tale of two cities; food is good; service so so. I really enjoy their pizza. Very tasty. You just have to suffer through the drama of the employees. I have had various slices here. They are really good. Thin Slice. Balance of cheese to toppings. What more can you ask for? A hot slice. They don't seem to get this right. How hard is it to place a slice to get hot. I always have to remind them. The employees always seem to complain about their work schedule, guests, having to clean and on and on. Always in Spanish. Duh, I speak the language. Double duh. Artichoke Basille's Pizza provides a quick meal. It is fast and easy. You order and pay on your way out. Just remember to ask for slice real hot. Price points $6 or so. A slice of pizza at this price point at an airport is not bad. Lots of choices. CC friendly.

Yelp
Airport location is definitely a downgrade to the one in the city. Pros: fresh, many options to choose from and constantly new pizza coming out of the oven. Cons: the artichoke one is extremely heavy in cream, way different recipe than the one in the city, also very high priced for a slice. Regardless, I enjoyed my slices and order process was fast and easy.
