The 24 Best Restaurants In Charlotte - Charlotte - The Infatuation

"Come to The Artisan’s Palate for a chill and fun Sunday brunch. They have monthly drag shows, and a back patio that makes for a perfect early-in-the-day meal under the string lights and murals. Start with the bacon-wrapped dates that are served in a butcher paper-lined wooden pig bowl and stuffed with marcona almonds, goat cheese, and rosemary honey. Then, go ahead and ride that pork-and-rosemary train until the last stop: The Paratrooper cocktail has housemade fig-infused bourbon with rosemary syrup, along with a smoking sprig of rosemary peeking out of your rocks glass. While you sip, snack away at the sausage board, with three varieties of links, marinated artichokes, and a warm baguette." - tess allen, g clay whittaker

Where to Drink Margaritas That Give Back in Charlotte | Eater

"Almost an entirely women-led kitchen and staff runs this cafe-by-day and restaurant-by-night, tucked into a plaza in NoDa. Home to drag performances and spirit education nights, Artisan’s Palate is nothing short of eclectic. Chef Christa Czoka’s small plates lean local and seasonal, as do her meticulously house-made syrups and infusions for cocktails. The layered drink, Weight of the World, is a confluence of blood orange, prickly pear, apricot, and mezcal, while Astral Reposado brings in smokey, caramelized agave notes. Also, locals know that some of the coolest regional art is showcased in the restaurant’s hidden art gallery." - Kayleigh Ruller

Where to Watch Live Music in Charlotte Restaurants and Bars | Eater Carolinas

"Artisan’s Palate bursts with personality as an immersive art gallery, cocktail spot, tapas restaurant, and boozy drag brunch location. The cocktails, created with in-house syrups and shrubs, and often named after chef-owner Christia Csoka’s friends, complement the small plates, like local cheese boards and mussels in white wine. Check out the hanging chalkboard which showcases the dozens of local farms and artisans supported by the Artisan’s Palate. Music is the main character at the Charity Drag Brunch once a month, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., featuring a specialty menu, themed decor, and a palpable spirit of celebration." - Kayleigh Ruller

My girlfriend and I came in for a visit on 2/28 before a concert nearby, and honestly it was a pretty big letdown. We were quickly greeted, and sat next to the bathrooms, which was a weird spot, so we requested to move to another table, which they obliged with no problem. We ordered an old fashioned and Negroni flight, which came out a couple of minutes apart. Not a big deal, but why not together? She wanted to order the fish and grits, but they were out of salmon, which I thought was very surprising considering it was 5 o’clock on a Friday. She asked the waiter for some recommendations which he responded “everything is good”. She asked about the steak, he said “it’s OK, but people normally prefer the sliders”. Thought it was a little bizarre he didn’t even even try to upsell that, but hey, whatever works. I ended up ordering the porkbelly while she got the sliders, and we got a side of fries to share. My pork belly came out a while after, which was the first time I’d seen our waiter since he took our order, and asked for a Don’t Worry Bee Happy instead of the Negroni flight… I had no idea sweet vermouth wasn’t sweet. That’s on me. The couple next to us was sat after we ordered, and got their food before us. Their sliders came out before ours. When we finished our entrees, she ordered another Old Fashioned. Our fries didn’t come out until the very end of our meal. The additional Old Fashioned didn’t come out until we finished the fries… by that point we were ready to leave. While looking for our waiter, we observed him looking at us through the kitchen, then duck behind the door when we made eye contact. Cool. We flagged down another member of waitstaff, that happened to be the manager on duty, explained our experience, and she was kind enough to comp our food since none of it came out together. Food was ok, but not flavorful. Porkbelly was tough, the sliders were bland, the fries were definitely frozen NOT the advertised “farm to table” fresh. I doubt my opinion would be different if the experience was better. It was like the cherry on the whole experience. Considering the price of everything being al la carte, I was hopeful but very disappointed. And, following this experience, the manager on duty gave us a card which had a QR code on it SPECIFICALLY for contacting the manager… we were never reached back out to. So, 4 months later, here’s my experience and review. 🫡

INCREDIBLE! It was our first time here and we WILL BE BACK! The food was fun, inventive, and delicious — all of the best things. You could have a conversation about each dish or just enjoy. Our MUST HAVE: was the “Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding” we deemed it “the best dessert we’ve ever had”… no joke. I will be thinking about it forever. Carrie was our waitress, and she was AMAZING! She gave my husband a crystal glass to drink his ($3!) PBRs from and kept us laughing and ordering all night. She made our night even better! Possibly the best Charlotte restaurant experience we’ve ever had.

Google
I had an incredible brunch experience at Artisan’s Palate! I ordered the steak and eggs along with a vanilla latte—both were absolutely amazing. The steak was perfectly cooked and flavorful, and the latte was smooth and delicious. Our server, Carrie, was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right. Highly recommend this spot for a great meal and warm service. I’ll definitely be back!

Google
Coming from Louisiana where food is hard to beat this place knocked it out the park!!! We loved everything. The food was so well balanced and paired well together. The flavors were exquisite and left me speechless. All the ingredients were fresh! We tried so many things on the menu like the octopus, steak, meatballs, pork belly, trout, salad and dates.

Google
Wow! Absolutely amazing food, experience, and service. The bacon wrapped dates are a must! We also had the duck confit empenadas, meatballs, and panna cotta. 🤤 Our server Becky was so sweet and attentive!🤎 We got the pleasure of meeting and talking with the owner, Crista. What a kind human. ☺️☺️ I really loved everything the business stands for and absolutely can't wait to be back. The art area and secret garden are just such cute additions to what is already an amazing experience.

Google
We had a great date night here. Rebecca was our server and she was excellent. She was helpful in navigating my options with food allergies. The old fashion flight was delicious. Each one was better than the last. The pork belly was a winner. The charcuterie board was really good and a generous helping. Great wine selection. Nice artwork for sale everywhere.

Google
Out of all of the salad I have ever had here and abroad…the shrimp artichoke salad if at the top of my list of favorites! Our server Jerry suggested goat cheese on top…just amazing. My friend had Shrimp and grits and got a taste….wonderful.

Eddie was our server and did a great job. The food was excellent as always. The best octopus I’ve had. Definitely a hidden gem in NODA!

Yelp
Delicious foods with even more delicious drinks! Our waitress took extra care of us and made sure we felt comfortable! There was an amazing violinist playing that night as well! Overall, we had a wonderful and romantic night!

Yelp
I'm sorry I don't know how this place has as many stars as it does because the food was awful. Outside of the cute pictures it's a hard pass. The food and drinks were terrible. Especially the drinks. I know it's hyped on tik tok too but Charlotte has way better places to spend your coins. The service was great though. Yelp
Service was really friendly and super quick! We came for dessert on a Thursday night around 8pm and it wasn't super packed. Pretty chill/casual vibe. We looked around at the art gallery and then snagged a seat outside Note: most of the seats were drenched because it had rained but we found one spot that was totally dry The drinks were pretty tasty but also a bit pricey at about $15 an order. The chocolate chip banana pudding looks cool but it has a tough texture that I wasn't a big fan of (2/5) in terms of taste

Yelp
Last night I had a great meal, amazing cocktails and made a new friend at Savor Charlotte. In honor of women's history month, last night Artisans Palate at a Women in Whiskey event with George Dickle spirits featured in every cocktail. If you are looking for an amazing meal, with great cocktails, a lovely chef/owner with a wonderful support staff...this place is for you.

Yelp
I wish there was a way to give more than 5 stars!!! WOW is the best way to describe our experience. We were there to celebrate my husbands new job as this has been on my list for a while - it's in one of our favorite neighborhoods in Charlotte, NoDa bordering Plaza Midwood. When we arrived, it was clear how welcoming and warm this place is - full of art and smiling faces. We sat at one of the communal tables for cocktails before our reservation and chatted with some regulars on Fridays, they do flights and not just any flights...old fashion flights! Holy moly was that fun - we tried all 6! Next we went to our table where we both ordered the Frenchie Do cocktail which was delicious. Our server came over with the drinks and asked if she could give us a tour of the art gallery and the secret garden out - YES PLEASE!! It was all so lovely. Onto the food - olive tapenade board was utterly amazing and fun! - bacon wrapped dates were delicious!! - octopus was divine - lamb shank with homemade vindaloo sauce was the most amazing dish and the chef came out to explain it to us! We wrapped up with espresso martinis that I still think about! Overall, A+++++ in our book and we cant wait to go back!

Yelp
Overall my Fiance and I had a great time. We made reservations but the place was pretty empty early on a rainy Saturday. We were promptly sat and took some time to admire the artwork. Really cool art work in there. We tried a few things and enjoyed the mussels as well as the pork hello. The empanadas could've used something more but they were okay. Service was pretty good. I did have to flag down our waiter a few times which was pretty annoying but he was so nice when we had his attention.

Yelp
Gorgeous ambiance! Loved the art gallery and patio. Prints were for sale inside. Came for drinks & dessert and left with a satisfied sweet tooth. The chocolate chip bread pudding was served warm and was just sweet enough (not overbearing). The Spanish gin and tonic was super refreshing and had great flavors. Our server was super sweet too!

Yelp
Dine in | Dinner I can't overstate how much I love this place. I bring everyone who is in town visiting and they wish they had a place like it near them. The food, the cocktails - all 10 out of 10!!! Cannot recommend highly enough. Oh and get the vegan empanadas they are next level!!!

Sheila F.

Yelp
Had another amazing meal at the Artisan's Palate! The scallops were the best I've had! Best drink selection in town! Great music the night I was there. Be sure to check this place out!!

Yelp
My husband and I shared: - Skillet Spoonbread - Bacon-Wrapped Dates - Firehouse Meatballs - 3-Day Porkbelly - Duck Confit Empanadas I loved the bacon wrapped dates. They were absolutely delicious. They come with a lot, but they're so easy to eat you won't even realize you ate them all until they're suddenly gone. I also liked the pork belly. Everything else wasn't my favorite. None of it had much flavor which was a bit disappointing. I'm hoping we just came on an off day.

Heather P.

Yelp
We wanted to love this place, but it really fell short. The service was awful and the food was mediocre and overpriced. Upon walking in, we loved the atmosphere, but the hostess quickly turned that around as she seemed bothered we were there. Our waitress was nice but extremely inattentive. We had to flag her down to ask where my wine was 30+ minutes after ordering it since she abruptly dropped off my husband's Negroni flight and a few plates of food before running off without a word. I've never experienced anything like it. When I asked about the wine that was clearly forgotten or messed up, she didn't even apologize and just said it was coming as if we were being impatient. It still didn't arrive very quickly after that...we were almost finished with dinner by the time it made it to the table. The burrata salad was delicious and the only thing I'd order again should we give this place another chance. The meatballs were just okay, chicken sliders were really dry and bland and I didn't care for the pear salad; the spices were way too intense.

Yelp
I came here with my best friend on a Saturday night. The vibe was super artsy, they were really busy and the menu was overly complex with no clear direction on first pass. We ended up leaving in search of greener pastures. Maybe another time

Yelp
I'm a big fan of The Artisan's Palate. I tried the mussels, and they were truly delectable! I opted for the chorizo addition, but to be honest, the standard dish was the highlight. The limited seating creates an intimate atmosphere, and the presence of an art gallery, with rotating featured artists, adds to the charm. Right after leaving, I was already planning my next visit.

Yelp
Went for Sunday brunch with a girlfriend. I got the French toast and she got the avocado sandwich. I admit i was excited abt the French toast but was underwhelmed with the flavor. I was expecting light and airy but it was very dense and heavy so I wouldn't order it again. Wasn't a fan. But the whole vibe of the place is the star for me. Has a beautiful art gallery, a secret garden in the back to relax in or the front patio where the live music was. Parking can be a hassle depending on the time of day you go because it fills up so quickly and they share it with a couple other businesses. Overall I would definitely go back for the vibe alone, but try something else on the menu

Yelp
Picked this one based on an IG post rating it one of the best Charlotte spots to eat. My mistake was that I didn't check the menu first. Totally should have because I probably would have passed. The few things, and I mean few, I was interested in they were out of. Ended up ordering the empanadas and salad. They were OK but not what I was in the mood to eat. Totally not their fault. On the other hand, the ambiance was perfect! We sat in the "Secret Garden" in the back and it was the nicest spot to catch up with my girlfriends. Our server was a sweet heart and one of the staff members recommended a cocktail that will now be a go-to for me (shout out to the tequila, passion fruit and guava!!) So, while I probably won't be back, it's to no fault of theirs. Just turns out it's not my kinda eatery. Grateful for the experience.

Yelp
This place is pretty cute, I was having a meeting here and came early to grab bite to eat. Calling out that you have to order before you have a seat, for some reason this order escaped me lol. I got the curry chicken salad, it was good but I was wanting a little bit more flavor wise. They have a meeting room in the back that I would love to use for something in the future. I think the dinner menu would be a better teller of what all they have and can do.

Yelp
I was very happy to visit The Artisans Palate while visiting Charlotte! This place is amazing! Delicious food (and they did great with my multiple food allergies) and the ambiance can be relaxed or classy. The art gallery in the restaurant is wonderful and the absolute gem is the enclosed back patio that is beautifully designed and very comfortable.

Mark J.

Yelp
Food was pretty good but the service was literally the worst I've ever seen in Charlotte. We purchased a bottle of wine and it sat on the table for 30 minutes until the waitress would open it and then she scowled at us while doing so. They staff makes you feel extremely unwelcome to be there. Worst dining experience we have had in the time we've lived in Charlotte!

Yelp
My mom and I came to this location for the Moulin Rouge Drag Brunch. We were celebrating her birthday and I wanted to take her to something we both would have fun at. The drag show was very entertaining and we really enjoyed our time here. I love that this takes place every month so that we can come back with more friends in the future. The food was good but our server was new. I appreciate that he told us right away that he was new at serving because we had a few issues with our orders. My mom is plant based and got the avocado toast. I'm not sure why it had an egg on it since I didn't order an egg on her sandwich but she simply took it off and put it to the side. I too ordered the B.E.C sandwich but it didn't have the B on it. It was loud due to the performances and the server wasn't familiar with the menu yet which could have resulted in the mix up which is okay. I bit the bullet and paid for the egg on her sandwich just to avoid any complications. Even with the mix up I still plan to come back to try some of the popular dishes and drinks. . I had a sangria that was enjoyable and my mother had a drink that I forgot the name of but it had gin in it. My mom was very happy with her drink because she usually gets acid reflux when she drinks but this drink didn't do that to her so success! Parking wasn't too bad as we were able to park in the grass. Super happy with the turn out for this event and the staff were all nice and friendly.

Yelp
My husband and I tried Artisan's Palate after seeing them mentioned as one of the best new restaurants in Charlotte. They share a large parking lot -- hurray, available parking in NoDa! We shared three entrées - the pork belly, octopus, and meatballs. My husband preferred the meatballs the most, and I preferred the octopus. They were all sizable portions, and the octopus was some of the most tender I've had yet. The pork belly was a little too fatty for my taste, but I've never really liked pork belly to begin with. My husband couldn't get enough of the meatballs. Our drinks were pretty good, but they could have been a little stronger. I had the Not Your Mama's Mojito made with gin. I cannot remember what my husband had. Service was friendly and efficient. We were done in under an hour! My one minor complaint would be the menu -- the options were just not very unique or exciting. I much prefer Barcelona Wine Bar for a larger and more varied menu, with lower prices. While we had a good experience overall, I'm not sure we'll return.

S G.

Yelp
Stopped through on my roadtrip. What a fabulous restaurant and very nice people. Felt super welcomed. Grilled octopus and a cheese plate with a Last Word. Fantastic. Do recommend!!! (Update: also got a crème brûlée w/ persimmon compote!!! Wow!) P.S. to the seemingly nice lady on a first date a few chairs down the bar: run away and never look back... my dude is making the rest of us look real, real bad

Yelp
We enjoyed a really nice dinner at Artisan's Palate last night. It's such a cute place and the service was really great! Tuesday is half priced wine (by the glass!) so I definitely took advantage of that! We shared the olives, the meatballs (tip: order extra bread), the short rib sliders, and fries. They were all solid choices--would order again! We wanted to try the empanadas but they were out. Will definitely order next time! Parking was easy on a Tuesday evening but on weekends it can be difficult when all the businesses are open.
google avatar

Kate S.

Yelp
I really wanted The Artisan's Palate to be excellent. The service was great, and the drinks were good, but the food was really unimpressive, especially for the prices. We ordered two cocktails plus the shareable meatball plate with crostini. I am not someone who needs my food to be scalding, but I am not exaggerating when I say the meatballs were room temperature at best. And, at $19 for 4 meatballs, I expected a lot more. Additionally, I am fairly certain they brought me the wrong drink. The waitstaff who put it down was very nice, but they did not seem confident in what they had delivered, and it didn't taste like what I had ordered. We didn't make a fuss because we didn't want it to become "a thing" but I don't know if we'd go back. We had two hours away from our toddler for a brief anniversary celebration, so we really wanted it to be special. We spent $90 including 20% tip and left feeling disappointed.

Yelp
Loved it! First time coming in. I found it inviting and comfortable! Loved the art on the walls and art for sale. I dined inside, but did go to the secret garden in the back for a glass of wine! Great service. Tried the steak, duck empanadas, and octopus. Corn empanadas were new to me and I really liked this dish. The octopus was outstanding! The chorizo included with the octopus was a nice touch. Really liked use of many different flavors, such as the apricot on the empanadas. Great attention to detail in these dishes!

Kevin L.

Yelp
Such a great place! We went for date night on Saturday and it was perfect. Live music playing in the corner and we sat on the front patio near by to listen. We started with a couple Old Fashion flights, bacon wrapped dates and spoonbread. Then a shrimp & artichoke salad. Main course we ordered two of their "palates," mussels with chorizo & pomm fritz and grilled octopus and a bottle of white wine we were able to pick from their wine wall. To top it off we shared a smores that comes on out with its own little mini fire. Everything kinda comes out when ever its made rather than all at once but it makes for time for conversation and time to go look at the art gallery. Thanks to Lea for great service! We will be coming back.

Yelp
I love the artistic atmosphere while dining there. I went during the summer and enjoyed the live music during brunch. The food was delicious.

Yelp
Went to this restaurant for Sunday brunch with the girls. We had so much fun. They offer a variety of mimosas with freshly squeezed juice by the restaurant. Upon entering, you hear the terrific live music. The musician was great and we loved all of his covers. His muck definitely matched the overall Sunday vibe. For brunch, I tried the smoked salmon board. So light and refreshing, this is the perfect item when you don't have a large appetite. The entree has enough food served to share. The highlight of the day was the shrimp and grits. The majority of the table ordered this and they were in love. After we ate, we took a peek at the art room. Our waitress, "Vanessa", was so friendly and patient. She took the time to explain the menu and answer our questions. This is casual dining. The restaurant is small but it offered plenty of seating for our party size. I will definitely be back!
google avatar

Zhana E.

Yelp
Cute hipster lunch spot in Noda with tons of wine. I loved the vibe here, open concept with art everywhere. They have a fabulous art room filled with local artist and an adorble patio in the back. The menu was limited but they had what I wanted.

Yelp
I honestly can't say enough good things about The Artisan's Palate! Nestled in a little strip in NoDa, the Artisan's Palate has an atmosphere that is quaint, relaxed, and sophisticated all at once. The main area where the bar is located is an open air garage style venue with tables inside under the cover, and trickling outside in a well-groomed patio with tons of greenery and flower beds, where the live music was. The acoustic guitar player strumming tunes like Free by Zac Brown Band gave a relaxed, come and stay a while vibe. It's a stark contrast from the Hairspray themed drag brunch they'd put on earlier that day! No matter what vibe you're looking for, you can find it here. We opted to sit at the bar inside and had the best time chatting with the bartender, Ciara! She was full of personality, and we really appreciated the fact that she was very engaged with us. Their menu is so vast, we asked Ciara and the other bartender, Miranda, to surprise us on some of our cocktail choices. If you're overwhelmed, give them some specifications "something fruity and on the sweeter side" or "make me your favorite whiskey cocktail" - the staff knows their stuff, and they'll make you something to suit your tastes. They truly made the experience! The presentation is noteworthy to say the very least, and we had the best time watching the bar staff crafting these stunning cocktails. They even had a small glass dome with rosemary underneath in which they infused a rosemary smoke into one of their fig bourbon cocktails! The drink menu is organized by type of spirit, and then of course there is an extensive selection of beer and wine. However, I highly recommend sampling their signature cocktails. Ciara explained the layout of the venue to us, pointing out the art room in the back - they feature a different local artist each month and decorate the room in their art! There's a rack up front where you can browse to purchase art from past featured artists! If you're looking for a romantic, outdoor setting, look no further than the secret garden in the back of the Artisan's Palate. Tons of flowers, lovely murals, and enchanting string lights, grab one of the cozy chairs, you'll be able to hear the live music from there! I feel that the amazing staff here combined with the charming space makes The Artisan's Palate a cut above! There are bars on every corner, but this is truly a NoDa standout!

Yelp
Amazing food, drinks, service and entertainment! Had an amazing time at the Golden Girls Drag Brunch!

Yelp
Exceptionally delicious food. Great and timely service. Drinks were excellent. I would highly recommend it to anyone

Yelp
Delicious! The menu is very unique and both of the items I ordered were superb. They were delivered to my table with care. The service was very friendly. The atmosphere is very laid back and conversational with the art spread all around. Highly recommend for a girls night, night with friends or if you just need a night alone (like I did) grab a seat at the bar.

Yelp
Pictured: Sour Kiss Cocktail (9/10) 3-Day Pork Belly (10/10) Rockin' Sliders on Brioche (9/10) Pomme Frites (7/10) Shrimp & Grits (9.5/10) Duck Confit Empanadas (8/10) Firehouse Meatballs (8.5/10) Artisan's Irish Coffee (9/10) Likes: This is one of the best Pork Belly's I've had...the Port Wine & Arbol Honey drizzle is what really sets it apart! The drinks here are so good, this is a very extensive cocktail menu but I have confidence saying I am sure anything on it would be fantastic. Our server Kayla was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and restaurant, she was great! Dislikes: I thought the fries could've been a little crunchier, but the Garlic Aioli was so good it made up for it. It was an extra 50 cents for sauce, which I will never be a fan of at any restaurant. Overall Rating: 4.5

Yelp
Enjoyed our experience. Same on a Sat night around 7PM and were able to get a table for the two of us. The place was vibrant including a young lady playing live music. The atmosphere is really chill and relaxing and a great place to hang out with a small group or your significant other. For a wine place, they had an extensive beer selection which was a pleasant surprise. We started with the Olive Tapenade Board ($13) and it was fantastic! My bride ordered the Chicken Sliders on Brioche ($15) and enjoyed them. I went with the Firehouse Meatballs ($16) and they were tasty. Serving sizes were filling. Service from Miranda was excellent! We will come back.

Yelp
2 sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches and an iced latte came to just over $20 with tax and tip. The biscuits are made from scratch. They use premium white cheddar. You choose how you want your egg on the biscuit. Our waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable. He knew off the top of his head what kind of coffee beans were used in the delicious latte. Quick service made for a nice breakfast. Plenty of wines available as seen by their wine shelves throughout the place. Will definitely come back here for dinner!

Yelp
Food was good but the acoustics are terrible. We could not hear each other. Server didn't tell us we weren't ordering enough food, my son ordered something we thought was an entree but it was tiny. It was on the large plates menu. Burrata salad was excellent.

Yelp
Overall my experience was really great! The cocktails were amazing and the food was sooo good. The small plates were not small! We had a group of 4 and we ordered the meatballs, mussels, pork belly and the sliders. It was more than enough food! Everything was delicious and well seasoned. The meatballs were my favorite. Now the cocktails. They were the star of the show. They took a little bit to get to us but they were worth the wait. I did an espresso martini and It was so good! Rich and strong. My friend got something with smoked rosemary and It was an awesome presentation. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Artisan's Palate is a welcomed addition to No Da's restaurant scene. Creative fresh dishes in a very friendly atmosphere surrounded with local art. Not only is it chef owned by New York native Christa but has a real parking lot, rare in this area. Relax with a large selection of bar drinks and wine.

Yelp
Still one of my favorite spots in noda/ plaza! It's super cute, the staff is always so friendly, and the coffee and food tastes delicious! The only thing that changed from My last review is that they now open at 11am during the week. I used to love coming here first thing in morning and work all day, so now I usually just come after lunch for a couple hours. But overall definitely a great place and I'll be back!

Yelp
I visited this past weekend to see my friends play live music. I'm glad they hosted the band because I didn't know this place was here. The roll up doors to the outside patio was a nice COVID friendly vibe with umbrellas and string lights. The service was a little slower than expected but nice and helpful. A shabby chic vintage farmhouse vibe which could be updated soon. The panna cotta dessert I paired with my Triple C key lime beer was delicious and so creamy. Loved the raspberry top. I feel like this dessert isn't on a lot of menus so I get it when I see it because it's always on MasterChef :) A nice date night spot. Other menu items looked a little pricey but I'm guessing it's good; the chef is the owner and had their name on the business card so I'm sure they're really proud of their work.

Yelp
To me, food is as much about the moment, the occasion, the location and the company as it is about the taste. The Artisan's Palate combines art with eating. Restaurant, art gallery and gathering space for like-minded souls in NoDa. Owner & Chef Christa Csoka offers customers a unique menu of craft cocktails, wine, and shared plates in a neighborly, relaxed atmosphere with a focus on art and those who create it. The Artisan's menu is familiar and comforting to all palates. Chef Christa incorporated many personal touches her restaurant with recipes inspired by her friends and family. With that being said nothing brings people together like good food. I recently had a girls meet up at The Artisan Palate...Here's what we ordered: Vegan and Gluten Free options are available   COCKTAILS **Thursday Special** Build your own Mule for $7: Mines was a Blood Orange and Rosemeary FRENCHIE'S DO: Ford's gin, St. Germain, raspberry cordial, lemon, egg white SMOKY ART-I-CSOKA : (pronounced "choke-ah") mezcal, Cynar, ginger, mole bitters, lime PRETTY IN PINK: Sparkling rose, St. Germain, Luxardo cherry juice FOOD SMOKED SALMON BOARD: grilled bread, cream cheese, capers, red onionBACON-WRAPPED DATES: bacon, medjool dates, goat cheese, marcona almond, rosemary honey MARIANA'S EMPANADAS: duck confit, Colombian aji salsa, apricot agrodolce SPICED WINE-POACHED PEAR SALADwhole poached pear, arugula, radish, pistachio, cranberries, pear vinaigrette- added goat cheese FIREHOUSE MEATBALLS: Chef Christa's grandfather's Brooklyn fire stationmeatballs, pomodoro sauce, melted mozzarella

Yelp
OMG the sliders were seriously one of the most tasteful burgers I have ever had. Amazing cocktail from a fabulous mixologist. Great vibe and decor in the space. I look forward to going back.

Yelp
Great spot for just about any meal/snack/drink - I came and sat on their patio to work for a few hours and had an iced hibiscus tea (which was delicious). The food on the menu looked really goos (definitely want to try it soon!). Their wifi is strong and they didn't mind my dog being out there with me, which is always a plus in my book :) They also function as a local art gallery, which is super cool! Will definitely be coming back here soon for the vibe and to try the food!

Yelp
First time and we loved it. Highly recommend going especially for brunch. They also have live music on Sundays and the outdoor seating is dog friendly

Yelp
Got to there around 7:30pm Friday night. It was my first time but not my fiancés first time. I was excited to eat here because we don't normally venture out for new places and now we know why. We ordered two margaritas, fries, and 2 orders of sliders we got the margs came out quickly as did the fries. We the proceeded to wait an hour for our sliders with hardly any interaction with staff or any water refills while we watched other people who arrived after get sliders first. To our surprise our sliders wouldn't even come out at the same time, we were given Prosecco and offered desert, chicken sliders were cold and I want to say five minutes into us having the chicken sliders were told that my beef sliders were being plated and they came out five or so minutes after that. Proceeds to charge us the full amount for our food. We joked about hitting the griddy out the door while dine and dashed due to the lack of service received. We did not dine and dash because that's not cool but I was really tempted to walk out. Do better next time, and don't leave people sitting there for 45 mins without any food in front of them.

Yelp
Me and my sister went out for a few drinks and small bites and found ourselves here. The Artisan's Palate was very unique and inviting. Our bartender Madison was super nice, well prepared to handle all our menu questions and made us some of the most amazing mules I've had. Definitely ask for Madison if you ever go! Food was okay; it didn't knock us off our chairs, but the service and drinks were great.

Yelp
This is the best brunch/hangout spot in NoDa. If you're looking for a place to go with friends this is the place. They have amazing food and cocktails, as well as, an amazing environment for socializing. It's a women owned establishment, the chef is french trained and so kind. Everyone that works here is the best person you'll ever meet and will take amazing care of you. Hands down the best place to go in town, you won't be disappointed. P.S. they have amazing art and a gorgeous outdoor area that is pet friendly.
