"Artusi in Peckham are delivering fresh produce and DIY meals to cook at home. Keep in mind, they sell out, so keep an eye on their Instagram and make your order in advance." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak
"A good neighbourhood Italian is as important to a civilised society as a village pub or florist. And if you’re one of those lucky sods who live in the pretty Bellenden area of Peckham (seriously, are we still laughing at that?), then your neighbourhood Italian is probably better than most. Also, if you have your shit together to the extent that you go to a florist regularly, congratulations. Artusi is a modern take on that neighbourhood Italian restaurant. It’s a small, casual place with menu that constantly changes. You’ll regularly find things like puntarelle and anchovy salad on the menu, along with very good pasta and plenty of meat in the mains. As with any great neighbourhood restaurant, Artusi is Perfect For a casual weeknight drop in or an catch up with some friends in the area, but book ahead, as it’s understandably popular. And pick up some flowers on your way home." - David Paw
"This popular neighbourhood Italian restaurant has some very good pasta, and meaty mains, which they’re now delivering as DIY meals to cook at home. Order their confit duck, lamb ragu, and more here." - oliver feldman, heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak
"If you’re a Peckham local, then you’re probably in Artusi on the regular. If you’re not, then you need to jump on the South London line because this excellent Italian neighbourhood restaurant makes some delicious pasta. There are usually two or three dishes on the menu and you can expect sauces and combinations such as cacio e pepe and the like. Think spaghetti with octopus and broccoli or bucatini with chard and raisins. This pasta is worth travelling for, if required." - jake missing, rianne shlebak, sinead cranna
"This enthusiastically run neighbourhood bistro is named after Pellegrino Artusi, who wrote ‘The Science of Cooking and the Art of Fine Dining’ back in 1891. Seasonal ingredients lead the way in honest, largely Italian-influenced dishes – and prices are more than fair." - Michelin Inspector
