Elegant American venue with tropical decor, cocktails, brunch

"The Ponce City Market bar hosts a twice-weekly Tini Martini Hour on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 7 p.m., where guests can enjoy smaller versions of the menu's martinis for $9. Seven varieties are offered, ranging from the classic Vesper and espresso martinis to the Green Goose, which is made with Grey Goose and green chile vodka with cucumber and lime." - Caroline Eubanks
"The frilly pink and green walls here are a standout amid Ponce City Market’s generally muted, industrial look, so it’s no surprise that the Atrium is the go-to for bachelorette parties, birthday outings, and any other occasion that might be worth pulling out a Lilly Pulitzer ensemble. Similarly, the solid American menu can get a little loud in the flavor department, like the no-ketchup-necessary fries that pull off the nostalgic flavors of salt and vinegar chips. And in place of lemon pepper, the Atrium has respectable sweet lime jalapeño wings that are nicely charred instead of fried." - juli horsford, nina reeder, jacinta howard
"Atrium in the PCM has a slate of events to celebrate Valentine’s Day. If you dig a rowdy brunch, head to their “Love Is In The Air” drag brunch on Feb. 12 to enjoy classic brunch favorites (like the challah french toast) and the charms of hosts Arriana Paris and Tatyana Tuesday Dickerson. On Feb. 13 gather your friends for their Galentine’s Day dessert and drink special, pairing desserts like bananas foster and creme brulée with specialty cocktails. This event is Leslie Knope-approved." - juli horsford

Food Rundown Vinegar Fries If you like drowning your fries in malted vinegar but hate the soggy aftermath, then give these a try. The fries are sprinkled in a powdery seasoning that reminds us of salt and vinegar chips. They're good enough to push the ketchup away. Bang Island Mussels The calabrian chili butter broth is a nice, spicy switch-up from all the garlic-wine mussel baths that rule the town. photo credit: Angie Webb Charred Wings Though not fried or lemon peppered by order of ATL authorities, these crispy grilled wings are still good. They're soaked in a glaze that has a little spice from the jalapeño and some tang from lime." - Nina Reeder

"With Amethyst’s non-alcoholic Lemon Cucumber Serrano spirit, lime, and cane syrup, the Gemlet is bold and bright here, just like the maximalist, tropical decor at the Ponce City Market restaurant. For a refreshingly fizzy version, ask for a splash of club soda." - Laura Scholz, Molly Harris
