Straightforward counter-serve doling out traditional French roasted chicken & baguette sandwiches.
"It’s worth ducking into downtown Austin food hall Fareground to indulge in wonderfully rich casual French fare from this stand. The restaurant focuses on well-made rotisserie chicken accompanied by just-tender-enough potatoes made with drippings from said-roasted poultry. But also the baguette sandwiches — made with house-made bread are top-notch. There’s also a truck on South Lamar. Takeout orders can be placed online or in person; there are indoor and outdoor dine-in areas." - Nadia Chaudhury, Erin Russell
"The French spot with two locations — this downtown food hall stall within the Fareground and the food truck on South Lamar — offers chicken bone broth as well as lentil and French carrot soups. Takeout orders can be placed online for the Fareground or in-person for both; there are indoor and outdoor dine-in areas." - Nadia Chaudhury
"Austin Rôtisserie is a casual counter-service restaurant at the Fareground food hall Downtown that specializes in chicken slow-cooked on horizontal spits just a few feet behind the register. You should get a whole or half bird for a normal dinner, but we recommend the poulet roti for a poolside snack. It’s a fresh-baked baguette filled with tender, shredded chicken and topped with goat cheese and vinaigrette. It keeps well, and the thick, toasty bread is hefty enough to maintain its structural integrity all afternoon. " - nicolai mccrary
"The casual downtown food hall restaurant within the Fareground focuses on two excellent French dishes for its menu. There’s the delectable roast chicken, available in various formats, often served alongside equally as delicious roasted potatoes. Then there are its baguette sandwiches, with fillings like said-roast chicken or butter-ham-Swiss cheese. There’s a food truck location on South Lamar. Takeout orders can be placed online or in person; there are indoor and outdoor dine-in areas." - Nadia Chaudhury
"The best lunch destination within downtown food hall Fareground is this French rotisserie chicken stall. Fine roast chickens with potatoes, soups, and baguette sandwiches.
