Good spot to pop in for some delicious pizza. I had the fully loaded (they don't skimp on toppings) personal 9" pizza called Ground Control it was delicious but my pizza could have used just a touch more sauce as it was a bit dry despite the much appreciated toppings ratio. My daughter had the 4 cheese personal and she loved it and nearly ate it all except for 2 pieces. We both split a Caesar salad with our meal and a fountain drink. It was good pizza. The dough was very light and airy mouth feel with a slight sweetness to the dough and yet had a crisp bottom and held up to the loaded toppings. This is hard to do. So bravo. Great price for the personal pizzas and lots of variety. My only issue is that the restroom was pretty dirty and none of the toilets flushed well. I literally had to remove the tank lid to make sure the basin would fill so I could flush . As every stall was filled by a previous person's visit and I'm just not that person and leave places better TMI I know but otherwise it would have been a lot of paper stacked in those bowls because they didn't flush. So this the otherwise one less star. My daughter and I agreed and said we'd go again plus there's another location up north closer to our house since we went here after a UT basketball game so it's good to know there's other locations in town

I stopped by for a late lunch today and was blown away by not one, but two amazing pizzas! Kade's suggestion to try the margarita drink was spot on - it paired perfectly with our meal. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service made it a great dining experience. Thanks, Kade, for the top-notch recommendation!

Pizza crust here is pretty good. Though had higher hopes for the my first visit. Beer selection, not my first choice so I opted for soda. Tried the Hawaii with bacon and it tasted okay. Not as good as other Hawaiian pizzas I’ve tried. Pizza sauce here didn’t seem too bad but left me indifferent as did my whole experience. Wasn’t meant to be for me and this place.

Went with work peeps. Very convenient to the area. Prices are reasonable and the food is great. Fantastic selection. The smoked ham and cheese grinder was awesome. Smoked potatoe salad was really good. The sausage and pepperoni callzone was delicious and a lot for one person. Salads, pizzas all good. Parking is pretty decent.

One of the best pizza places I've been to since moving to Austin. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. They offer a huge local beer selection as well as tons of salads, sandwiches, and pizzas. I've ordered something different each time I've been here and I've never been disappointed. You also get the bonus of having a great view of Mueller Lake Park while you eat.

I come here with friends often; we love their Major Tom pizza and Club grinder. The beer list is also badass, featuring majority Texas and locally brewed beer: all on tap! They sometimes do seasonal specialty pizzas and we were impressed by their Jalapeño popper pizza; it’s super close to the real thing! I’ll attach a photo of that. Also, the staff is friendly, and eager to make your experience feel special.

First and last time. Such a disappointment! Half of the pizza is brown and burnt so crust is not edible. The other thing is I ordered ground beef on the pizza but got some sort of sausage. When I said I ordered ground beef, the waiter told me OUR GROUND BEEF is like this! So if it is a processed sausage-like something it should not be called GROUND BEEF! And sold as that. The only reason I ordered there, was to make my own pizza. And because I saw they have thin crust, which they burnt and that they have the topping of ground beef to choose, which was a processed meat that I doubt it has any beef in it from the taste of it. I hope you do not need to lie to sell food. Ground beef is a known thing, it is not a processed meat that each place has their own version/recipe of it, that one is called sausage!

If you are in Mueller and want to eat some good pizza and beer, then you this si the spot to hit up. They have some nice covered tables outside with a view of the park and lake. Lots of different pizza options to try. I would definitely recommend.

Went in late on a Monday night after catching a movie at Alamo Drafthouse -- perfect spot for a post-movie bite. Even though they were getting ready to close, the staff was kind enough to take my order. I got the Meat Almighty pizza, and it absolutely lived up to the name -- packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The service was friendly and accommodating, even that close to closing time. They also had a solid beer selection, including about five Hazy IPAs. Definitely a go-to for late-night eats and good vibes.

We've been to Aviator Pizza twice now, and while we ultimately enjoyed the experience, the inconsistency between visits is what kept this from being a 5 star review. On our first visit, things were a bit rough--the food came out cold, and the cheese inside the calzone wasn't even melted. It was a disappointing start.Thankfully, our second visit redeemed the place in a big way. Everything was hot, fresh, and flavorful. We've tried the calzones, the Meat Almighty, and the Lazy Goat; each one hit the spot. And don't sleep on their house ranch; it's ridiculously good and pairs perfectly with just about everything. The plane-themed decor adds a fun, quirky charm to the place, and the staff have been super friendly both times, which goes a long way. If the kitchen can stay consistent, Aviator Pizza has serious potential to be a regular go-to. We will likely be back.

I know it's a pizza place but I swung by for a salad. This is for all the salad peeps. Foremost, it was delicious and humongous! Definitely a bang for your buck, but for a large salad like this, I found some of the variety of salads a bit limiting in the sense that, I feel like if I'm eating a humongous salad, there should be a little more variety in veggies. The most variety you can get in terms of vegetables besides leafy greens are tomatoes, olives, (diced) onions, and artichoke. I think it'd be nice to have cucumbers, broccoli, or at least carrots in the salads; they are not add-ons available. If you wanna be satiated by veggies, maybe not the salads here, but if you want something simple and tasty that will fill you up, then Aviator is good. I'd try some of the others on the menu too, tbh. This personal salad was 16$ with no add-ons. Ambiance is nice, they have a big patio in front and they're next to a lake with a cute park. There are parking meters around the area so do your best to find something free if you can.

Tried the Vegetarian with vegan cheese and it was also delicious!!! Obsessed with the crust at Aviator and I don't think you can go wrong on anything you order.

I am in Austin for the weekend and wanted to explore vegetarian pizza options. We went to Aviator Pizza since it was close to where I was staying. I was pleasantly surprised by the pizza and drink options. I really enjoyed my honey sriracha brussel sprouts with goat cheese on a scrumptious pizza base. I had a watermelon sour beer called Hi Sign which felt like a kombucha drink - very yummy. The service was exceptional and the vibe casual. I took my dog too and it was great to sit out on the patio overlooking the water. The prices were reasonable for the serving size! I highly recommend this place for the creative pizza options for vegetarians and the wonderful service. A great find in Austin!

Grabbed the pepperoni pizza to go and my first impression was the insane amount of pepperoni that they put on it! When eaten warm, the cheese has a nice pull and stretch which is so alluring cause it's not saucy in the way that it's messy. I was waiting in line at the counter but one of the servers asked if anyone was there to pick up an online order so I was able to skip ahead to pick up my pizza which sped up my pickup considerably. The crust is not too dry but rather airy and slightly sweet. The balance on the pizza just hits in a way I definitely didn't expect. It didn't taste too oily even though there was an ample amount of pepperoni. Chewing the airy crust just made me want to keep eating and I'll definitely be coming back! It took care of both my bread craving, cheese craving, and pizza craving!! **edit to say: even second day and reheated, the dough still was so chewy and mochi like

What a great find for us visiting Austin for the first time. The location is fabulous. There's a great park across the street and the neighborhood looks like it has many places within walking distance. The staff here is so friendly and hospitable. We were seated with our 17 month old granddaughter immediately. This is a very family friendly place. We ordered a pepperoni and basil pizza that came out quickly. It was very good. We also ordered a garden salad with chicken with a really good ranch dressing. I wish the salad had been tossed with the dressing. The salad was filled with ingredients. I'd definitely eat here again if I'm back in Austin.

Just moved into this area and was looking for a quick lunch. Landed on aviator pizza for a calzone! It was very hot and fresh. Easy to order online and pickup with no issues. The dough itself was over cooked and little burnt but I did enjoy the flavor!

First time here and there are so many different options for pizza! I got the ground control and they did bot skimp you out on the toppings! The pizza did take a long time though, not sure if they forgot our order or not. It was decent pizza, nothing spectacular!

It's always about what I see for me. I was excited to have some fresh pizza and we decided this was a great option. The customers and staff was quite helpful. The taste was amazing for my bestie and he loved eating his meat lovers personal 12 inch that he insisted that he needed to eat in that moment. I orseees a hamburger pizza. It was ok but I really enjoyed the freshness the most. What is facility is connected to another and they share restaurants which I thought was efficient for the community and really nice

Convenient online ordering made this an easy spot to pick up a really good pizza. The crust is thick and tasty. You can choose from one of their signature pies or create your own with a great selection of toppings. It's a little above average price-wise, but I felt the quality was worth it. I haven't eaten in restaurant, but it was nice when I went to pick up my order. Apple Maps didn't take me to the exact location of the entrance, so just walk around the corner if you get confused like me.

On a beautiful Sunday night, I started to go to Veracruz Fonda next door, but then realized that I really wanted pizza. Kailee was at the register and was amazing. This is was my first visit to Aviator and she suggested her favorites and fan favorites. I went with one of her favorites, The Lazy Goat. The Lazy Goat is a red sauce pizza with goat cheese, salami and artichokes. It came out in a great amount of time from when I placed my order. It was so good. The service at Aviator was great! It was a rather quiet night, not busy at all.

Really disappointing pizza restaurant in Mueller. I was really hoping this place was good since it's the closest to our home and perfectly located to the park. Great beer selection, but not great pizza Note: if you like good pizza spots in Austin like Pinthouse, Sammataro, Via313, Bufalina, Backdraft to name a few, than I am pretty confident you will not like this place. If you like Digiorno pizza, than this place is for you. Food - Looks like Digiorno tastes like a Dijorno. Asked for ranch to ease the flavor but pretty sure it was hidden valley... Seriously, the pizza was so bad I couldn't finish it (the second I got it I knew it was going to be bad) Ambience is fine, Beer selection is really great. Only offers Texas wines but that is the vibe they're going for. Attention owner: I am more than happy to talk about my disappointment in the quality of the pizza Cannot recommend this place and definitely cannot say I will be back with the quality of pizza in this town

I'm a fan of this pizza spot located in Mueller. I love how the crust has a hint of sweetness to it. I tend to order the pizza that has olives on it. I think it's called The Greek or something similar. It's super tasty and I even enjoy eating any leftovers the next day. I use the toaster oven to warm up the pizza and it's good as new! I do appreciate that there is always a place to sit down when you dine in. The staff is also super nice and helpful. I'm always greeted warmly. I'm not sure if they validate garage parking here but it doesn't hurt to ask!

I stopped in for a bite to eat and drink with my husband on a Friday night. We both ordered a drink. I got a cider and he got a pint house jelly fish. I ordered the Hawaiian pizza because yes pineapple does go on pizza. I also recommend to add the bacon. I had it made gluten free with vegan cheese. Whatever size you get these pies are made for sharing. They had to remake my pizza so my pizza took a little longer than my husband's pizza to come out. The pizza was a solid 4. For a person who is allergic (I'm intolerant to dairy and gluten) I would probably not recommend eating here. My body did okay with this pizza and I also took enzymes for digestion. My husband liked his pizza and would recommend as well.

My friend and I shared the Pepperoni and Basil pizza. It was good. We both like it enough, I would come back if I am in the area, but would not go out of my way to come here. I like Pinthouse Pizza's Pepperoni and Basil pizza more than the one here. They have Mexican Cola in a bottle made with sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup.

Went today Saturday at 2pm to celebrate my 2 year old grand daughter's birthday. Pizza was hot and came pretty quickly. It was all of our first time coming about 20 of us. We had large Pepperoni, Margarita, all Meats and mozzarella focaccia. The staff was so wonderful we really enjoyed our time. Thank you guys so much!!!

This is a great place to have a good quality time with friends/family over draft beer and pizzas. They have quite a collection of beers and they were very good. We tried their #7, 14, 22 and 25. We had their chicken Fajita pizza, vegetarian and Margarita pizzas. The first two were amazing. Crust was airy and fluffy with the right amount of crunchiness. Complimented their beer very well. We sat outside next to the kids play area and was exactly what we needed on a Saturday evening after a busy week. The service was friendly and they patiently obliged as we tried samples of beers. There was plenty of seating space inside and outside.

This place was amazing!!! The pizza was to die for the staff was friendly and helpful and our food came out so quickly. I most definitely will be back. I also love the smaller personal size for a pizza it was perfect!

Parking is of course a challenge but the South Austin pizza is pretty tasty. A bit challenging to eat in bites as all the arugula clumps together. The Garlic pizza is also great if you love garlic and are also avoiding any red sauce. Crust is sweeter on the garlic too. All in all, a decent sub for Home Slice's pizza if you're in the Mueller area.

Delicious Pizza! Ordered a 12' Major Tom. Balanced flavor with the meat and the veggies toppings; I really enjoyed that the veggies were not drenched in the sauce or the cheese. Crust was crunchy enough but not too dry. Very lit place with a cool vibe and a good variety of drinks on the menu. Will visit again for sure.

Great pizza and drafthouse in the Mueller area. I was wondering for months when they were going to open and they finally did. Aviator has a friendly demeanor inside, oddly shaped space but they've made the best with the corner lot. I am really impressed by the depth of the menu. We ordered three different pizzas while there: Major Tom (added arugula) 9/10 Hawaiian 10/10 Veganlicious 7/10 We also ordered a porter beer which went well with the pizza. I personally love the fact they have vegan and dairy free options, but the cheese came out too well done on the veganlicious. To be clear, I'll take having the ability to have pizza any day over no dairy free options. Also, the ranch is wildly good. Workers inside were both friendly and accommodating. You could tell people enjoyed working there. Glad to have another great restaurant in Mueller.

Vegan choices are limited, but it's good and I like the cheese and the mushrooms add on is not that bad. I just think that for the price I'm paying I think I'm just gonna go home and at my own amount of mushrooms because I need more and more basil so I'm just gonna add some more fresh basil when I get home but otherwise just order pizza as is and enjoy The kitchen is clear and open, so it's great to see and a great table and comfortable chair spacing amongst others, kid, friendly stroller, friendly very heavy door, though sadly to say as a handicap it's a little bit harder to open the door, but be able to find gluten-free crust is very nice. The music is not bad Not too loud. Some of the cold shelf items. I'm unable to reach my own self so I will have to ask for help just because I'm not very tall so it's very inconvenient for me to be able to reach and the box is easy to read and open, and it doesn't make your pizza slide too much inside of it

I've been walking by this place for a while before I finally got around to trying it out. I was craving pizza and decided to use the online ordering system and ordered carry out. I got the 9 inch Hawaiian pizza and the mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks were delicious and paired great with the hot honey I have. The Hawaiian pizza was pretty good as well and perfect for one person. I think this is gonna be my go to pizza place from now on since the prices reasonable, foods delicious and walking distance from my place. Highly recommend if you're in the mueller neighborhood.

The pizza is sooo good. I've never had crust like this anywhere else - it is unbelievable. Beer list is solid, with 30 local taps, and another 8 taps for draft cocktails and wine. Indoors has good ambiance, outdoor patio is fine. No playground attached to this location, but it's about 1 block from the Mueller Lake Park playground. Highly recommend! Especially if the insane Tuesday special is still running.

Great pizza joint in the Mueller neighborhood! It has a hallway attached to Halcyon as well. Aviator has some good drinks on tap and a good pizza pie. Check out their daily happy hours and lunch slices! Their cheesy sticks are surprisingly very good as it has goat cheese crumbles on top. My only complaint would be that I wished the marinara dipping sauce was warm and not cold, but it's a personal preference. The staff here is friendly and helpful. Very relaxed vibe, where you can dress up or down, however you feel. My favorite pizza so far has to be the pepperoni and basil. The 12" fed 3 people and we still had about 2 slices leftover. They do a great job of getting that crispy and charred crust. You can definitely tell it got a kiss of the fire. Craving for a laid back pizza spot? Give Aviator a go!

This place is amazing! We always come back for the dough and stay for the beer. I really appreciate the effort they put into each pizza. I once ordered 6-7 different flavors for my wedding weekend and they were all gone within 10 minutes with our party devouring it. Always a good vibe 10/10 for us.

Aviator is finally open and it's great that Mueller has a solid pizza spot now. I was only at this restaurant briefly for a work Happy hour. Not too sure on the drink specials but the food was good. The service was amazing! My group was catered to the whole time and treated like real customers. There was plenty of room and a couple long tables to host larger groups. I look forward to going back. Tip 1: This is a cashless establishment (for now). I learned it the hard way Tip 2: They serve pizza by the slice between 11am-1pm

Went here on a Saturday for dinner. There was no line, but I think this location was super new at the time (September 2023). This place is spacious and there's a lot of seating. The cashiers were friendly! We had the Flying Garlic pizza. We enjoyed it, but it was a little dry. I think it's because it's made with a garlic sauce base, but I think next time I'd like to add a red sauce base. Otherwise the pizza and ingredients were fresh, and overall, it was still really good!

Pizza was okay, it was just a little dry and could've been cheesier. We ordered takeout so I can't speak regarding the service but our order was ready by the time we got there. No delays or anything. Plenty of parking outside.

I started with a classic option to try (pepperoni) and I give this place a 10/10! It took a while for me to try it because they didn't have online ordering but now they do and I'm so happy! On a Friday night after placing the online order my order was ready 20 mins later- so fast! And they got the order right too - another win! As for the pizza, I thought it was going be thicker crust based on other reviews but I was pleasantly surprised it wasn't. It has a nice crunch to it and the dough is on the sweeter side like it must have honey on it. And the pricing is definitely top notch this is their small and could easily feed 2-3 people and was $15. I'm happy to have aviator pizza on my rotation list for restaurants now! Give them a try - you won't be disappointed!

Wonderful beer & outstanding pizza, plus TVs strategically placed. I sat inside on a cool evening, but that looks like a really cold outside area with Peters. The brew selection was outstanding, I sampled all the Zilker brewing varieties and loved them all! Actually went by the local HEB the next day and bought a few 6-packs to take home to DFW.

So good, a must try best pizza I had in long while..Try the sandwich too delicious. The service was great. I look forward to going again.

Not only are their pizzas cheesy and delicious, they exude the neighborhood pizza joint vibe. Everyone working there is friendly and happy to be there. You can order by slice or whole pizza, and we always get a salad. The interior has plenty of seating and the patio is good for large parties. I would recommend dining in, pizza is always yummier that way!

Came here with my kiddos after the thinkery. Had no idea what to expect but the pizza was DELICIOUS. They had some yard games set up on the side of the restaurant and my girls played with it. Cant wait to come back!

We ordered the Aviator for delivery, and I was pretty disappointed. The black olives were clearly from a can and gross as were the meats which were mostly unrecognizable. The ingredients were subpar, and our last time ordering from them.

The original Elgin location has the best baked wings and chicken fettuccine. The other locations do not have these menue items but hoping they will soon. Pizza is good and do are the salads.

Great place in Mueller! The service and food at Aviator have been fantastic each of the many times I've ordered for catering and event or for takeout. Everyone I've interacted with has been genuinely friendly and service oriented. Pizza and salads are great! Haven't dined in yet but looks like a cool vibe.

Love. Love. We loved Aviator on South Congress and were so sad when we moved north and didn't have as easy of access. When it opened in Mueller, we were so excited, and it hasn't disappointed. Great pizza.

I went here with a friend because we heard that it was new and wanted to try it out. We shared the Greek pizza and were not disappointed. It was so good! A 12 inch pizza can be shared between two if you both are not too hungry so that is what we did. I also got a glass of red wine and my friend got some rose. The service here is a little slow but that maybe because it is new. I will definitely come here again since there are so many vegetarian and vegan options!

My boyfriend and I live in the Mueller area and have been long awaiting this opening! We were super excited to hear they opened recently and finally got the chance to try it out and i can tell you it did not disappoint. To drink I ordered the Hi Sign Violet Blueberry and my boyfriend got the classic Electric Jellyfish which were both great per usual. We also got the pepperoni and sausage calzone (which my bf KILLED in one sitting) and the magherita pizza with salami. Both were so good, the crust was delicious and the cheese was so yummy! The service was amazing, even though it was a counter service restaurant there were constantly people checking up to see if we needed anything. We have leftover pizza to hold us over until the next time we come back, which will hopefully be soon!

Aviator pizzas are delicious. I order pizza to take out every week. Orders are filled promptly. Good service. No long delays!

I love everything about Aviator Pizza & Drafthouse! The pizza is great, as are the sandwiches. The atmosphere is very welcoming and all of the staff are so friendly. My vegan daughter was also really excited to try their vegan pizzas. She says it is the best she's ever had! I also found my new favorite cocktail, their blackberry vodka. Delicious!! I am so happy you guys are here in Mueller.
