"Canary Wharf isn’t known for its comforting, familial atmosphere but Ayannas goes some way to change that. The modern Caribbean restaurant is located on the corner of an A-road, and inside you’ll find white tablecloths, a grand piano, and curry goat served in filo pastry crowns. Despite these fancy affectations, what stands out about Ayannas is how relaxed everyone in the room is. Regulars are greeted like family, birthdays are celebrated with vibrant pink cocktails, and iron-y callaloo spring rolls are happily munched. The food and aesthetics was absolutely amazing. Being a Jamaican, I felt so proud being there knowing that the food and service was 10/10. The food was so flavoursome, the right level of seasonings and sauce. The oxtail melted in my mouth and the chill prawns, wow! So succulent and full of flavour. the food is reasonably priced and the cocktails were extremely strong. I cannot wait to go back! Ayannas was 10/10 would defo recommend

Something different for date night. We were greeted with a kind and warm waiter. The food was tasty. The flavours in the meat are so pungent and fresh. The sweet chilli prawns were overly sweet but were cooked to perfection. I don’t think the portion sizes of the food was worth the price we paid.

I've been to Ayannas so many times since the last 2 years, I fell in love with it and still not out of it 😍 ( Never lol) Because everything just so amazing there! From the authentic delicious Jamaican food with their fine twist, my favourite is the oxtail & the pastry on it ( same for other dishes like stewed chicken , curry goat etc) and I'm obsessed 😋And their desserts wow!! I keep coming back for more not only for the food, drinks & desserts but also for their constant heart warming hospitality, service & relaxing ambience, I've been to enough Caribbean restaurants and Ayannas is truly the best I give it 5 stars out of 5 🇯🇲✨️ I much recommend Ayanna to anyone who loves a fantastic restaurant with a great vibe, service & food for different occasions such as like just dine in with friends, date night, celebrating birthdays or X'mas etc. I went just last week and I'm looking forward to going there soon 😊

We had an amazing experience. Service was exceptional.. the food was delicious and came out in a timely manner. Cocktails are amazing!.. I have recommended this restaurant to at least 50 people since last night. Literally 10/10. Thanks again for making my birthday dinner so special.

Went here for a date night. An may I say it's defo a date night intimate spot. On arrival you are greeted with 5 star customer service. Food is exceptionally nice and drinks very strong so perfcet!. Customer service is top tier. I shall be back!

Very nice set up, intimate and small, love the colours and the dim lighting. Service a little slow but very very polite. The starts were SPECTACULAR, I got the Callaloo spring rolls and DEFINITELY 5/5 I was only upset that I only got 2 instead of 4 as they came small. The sauce/purée used was to die for! 4/5 for the prawns starters, same again, only 3 prawns maybe one more. Plate was beautifully presented also. Now on to the mains, oxtail and curry goat that came in an open pastry, the presentation again 5/5 . I can only say the flavours for the curry goat for Jamaican food really lack flavour, taste was giving party curry goat which is a shame. The oxtail was also bland, giving both 2.5/5. The drinks was okay. Again presentation wise 5/5!! Please spice up the food, not many fine dine Caribbean restaurants & I want to be able to come here more. Also loved that on tue-thur 20% off.

Lovely service and great tasting food there were 4 of us, 3 had the curry goat, one had the oxtail, with white rice, and rice and peas and for sides coleslaw, fried plantain, and fried dumping, all food was very tasty, and we all really enjoyed it. Its changed since the last time we ate there, decorated with wallpaper and pictures and plants. Low music in the background. There is no physical menu, you have to scan to download menu, which is not for everyone. But we would definitely go again.
