"Canary Wharf isn’t known for its comforting, familial atmosphere but Ayannas goes some way to change that. The modern Caribbean restaurant is located on the corner of an A-road, and inside you’ll find white tablecloths, a grand piano, and curry goat served in filo pastry crowns. Despite these fancy affectations, what stands out about Ayannas is how relaxed everyone in the room is. Regulars are greeted like family, birthdays are celebrated with vibrant pink cocktails, and iron-y callaloo spring rolls are happily munched.
