The lobster buffet dinner on Thursday was great! Excellent service, the staff made everything so seamless. On the side note, the lobster wasn't that fresh but for the price it's alright. The steak was a little undercooked in the middle so I had to ask for the sides. Overall, a great experience and a great variety of food!

Google
This is definitely the right price-range for a Vegas buffet if you are a hearty eater. Vast selection of all kinds of typical buffet fare. Food is all mid-range in taste. Lots of things get dried out under the heat lamps - that is just how typical buffets are. Very expansive dessert selections! Bonus points for offering Dole Whip! My husband's favorite item was the steak and my favorite item was the pancake bar. I piled on fresh blueberries, strawberries, and blackberries. It was delicious! For our visit we were offered free, unlimited mimosas and our mimosas and regular drinks were filled very quickly by our very hard-working and attentive waiter. Every time we retuned to our table, our drinks were topped off and plates cleared. Kudos to the wait staff here.

Google
As buffet goes, this one is well worth the wait. Rated very well in Las Vegas. Food presentations lure you with a visual treat and the taste completes the experience. Brunch no reservation required. Wednesday is the seafood buffet and reservations are required. Price point at market.

My mom and I went for the 1st time yesterday around lunchtime. The service was outstanding. We had the endless mimosas and my cup never hit half before it was refilled. The food was great. Delicious crab legs. I was impressed with the deconstructed eggs Benedict. We will be back for sure. (It wouldn't let me attach my mom's photos, but I'm including some I took).

Google
Waiting in line for 40 minutes when I placed a reservation was a turn off, but luckily I remembered reading a review that mentioned waiting for a long time so we got there early. BUT I have to say that the lobster was flowing and so was the butter 🥳 Our server Salvador was really on it too, coming by and replacing our bucket and drinks and always smiling a super kind smile. I appreciated that because I didn’t feel any judgement at all for how much I was eating 😆 I would come back… might have to digest a bit more first though…

Great Deeds

Google
The staff was very friendly. Went on lobster night on a Wednesday. Food was just okay. Well except for the desserts they were delicious. I would have rather played dice 🎲 to be honest.

Google
Went here for the lobster and crab buffet everything was amazing. The lobster was cold at times but that’s understandable because it wasn’t chewy. There was smoked brisket a taco bar and they even had collard greens, which was very tasty. The food selection is small I wouldn’t eat here for the normal buffet before the crab and lobster it was worth it.

Google
Certainly not the best buffet in Vegas, but I felt the brunch service for $43 including champagne was a decent value when compared to the bigger-name places. Honestly fewer selections than the casino buffet back home and quality was about the same. Snow crab legs. No wait to be seated towards end of Sunday brunch. Brunch ends 4:30-4:45 for switch to dinner.

Yelp
This buffet is outstanding. The service is great and the food is excellent! Would come back with more friends! Awesome place!

Yelp
Loved the food, especially the pasta made by Antonia! Great cook, amazing, made to order custom pasta!

Yelp
Great service by Salvador. Our favorite was the pasta bar by Antonia. Reasonable price and great food.

Yelp
We went on the Monday before Christmas. It was pretty busy but the line moves and manager Jayme (Waianae!) does a great job of keeping everyone waiting informed about whether the line will be cut off and how you'll have limited time if you do make it in. We also noticed that she was a true team player handing so many other responsibilities to give the customers a great experience! Yanet was our server and she was great as well. She promptly provided us with a bucket for shells, crackers for the crab, kept our drinks full and was also very pleasant and fun to interact with. Food selection and quality were great and we look forward to coming back again and getting in line early!

Yelp
$79.99 AYCE lobster. Nuff said. Yes we were there today. Make a reservation ahead of time do not assume you can walk in. Little mishap with timing. Normally lobster is offered starting at 3pm but today started at 5. They honored it for us so we played a little in the meantime to work up an appetite. Salvador was our waiter and he got our orders correct. Man of few words but got everything we could ask for done. I asked where the butter was and he walked me over, brownie points for sure. He said be careful of the spicy one. I didn't even know a spicy butter existed! We were all so thrilled with our meal, we'll be returning tomorrow for brunch. See you tomorrow AYCE.

Yelp
AYCE lobster buffet on Wednesdays and Thursdays! Pretty tough to get a reservation so you'll have to plan out a bit. We scored one on New Year's Day. There was a little confusion as the lobster buffet usually starts at 3pm but it started later at 5pm on NYD. Thankfully, the person at the counter said we could come back at 5 and we will get a table. The line was insane but I am unsure how it is on other normal lobster days. What I really appreciated was that lobster tails and whole lobsters were available at almost every area which meant no lines. If you wanted shrimp and crab legs, the line was minimal and I only had to wait a couple of minutes. You can come back as many times as you'd like but you will only be given one tail and one whole each time. If you're looking for butter, it's by the salad area by the soup. I noticed peeps were lost and couldn't find it. I didn't try much of the other food, just a slice of tri tip and brisket. Otherwise, I had this amazing s'mores brownie dessert which I can only hope to duplicate sometime at home. Delicious. Service was great. We had Salvador who was super intuitive and kept removing our plates so we could be set up for the next mountain of lobsters. They will bring you crab crackers and empty your bucket frequently. We had a great time here and I've definitely had enough lobster for a year.

Yelp
Skip. Crab legs were old and crusty looking swimming in murky water. All the food was crusted over. Instead of switching out nasty items they just let it sit there. I would have pictures of it but they only let us eat for 30 mins. You have to wait in a long line for hours instead of a proper reservation system. Why does it say to make a reservation online when you actually can't? Instead of taking your name and like texting you like a normal restaurant would when your table was ready, someone has to wait in a miserable line. The check in lady was not very nice and acted like she was doing us a favor. I hate to call someone out directly but I've worked in restaurants for 20 years. It's obvious Palms is trying to show itself as a guest forward place where anyone feels comfortable. That line was a miserable experience. It's not like Palace Station oyster bar where the wait is worth it. It's not. It's not worth the price. It's not worth the fact we got free comps by spending a lot of money gambling. If someone offered me a free comps there for brunch without needing to do anything, I'd probably say no. After waiting for a couple hours we could only get in at 2pm! Right when they close. We had 30 mins to get food and 15 mins to hang out and digest and enjoy said food and then the manager came through the restaurant telling us we had 5 mins and then saying we had to leave. She was super duper nice about it, but it's not a good feeling nor look. We couldn't even finish our food and they wouldn't let us take our drink out. It was a mimosa in a cheap flute. Like what's the issue? I took out my Bloody Mary from Palace Station when we ate at their diner. The waitress we had Tina I think. White woman. Was soooo nice and lovely and she worked her butt off with a smile. She's a keeper! Give her a raise! The chefs looked miserable though. I get it. Not their dream job. But the vibes were all off. I am shocked Las Vegas Register called this place best buffet and USA Today put them on a best buffet list. There was no rhyme or reason to the food sections. Not very many options. And most of the options looked horrible. Like seriously 90% of the food, I was like I'm not gonna eat this crap. And I'm not a picky eater. I once ate a day old burger and fries combo left outside by DoorDash by mistake and then got food poisoning. My go to is fancy ramen. At least drinks are included. Wait staff and front of house staff work hard. Be sure and tip 20%. It's not their fault. This is an upper management and owner thing. Tim Ho Wan is excellent at Palms and we ate there the night before when we couldn't get in for Dinner Buffet we came at 730pm and they said they couldn't get us in until 845pm and we had 30 mins to eat. Is this like their scam or something? So we went to Tim Ho Wan and everything was right there. Food, staff, decor and vibes. Had a great time and not pricey for vegas. So I had high expectations for the buffet. Some positives if you're still reading are the carving meat station was very good. Pre-cooked steaks to med or med/well were surprisingly good. So was the pork loin they carve for you. The carving guy was super nice. Had a nice chimichurri also. There was no sushi. Hardly any Asian food when 50% of their clientele is Asian. No pasta station. Or breakfast foods that you'd want to try. Like a nice granola or something? Nope. They had deconstructed eggs Benedict in a little single serving cup that looked nasty. Like mixing up a bunch of leftovers and scooping it into a cup. They had a sad piece of soft tofu in a plastic cup with some sweet thai chili sauce. Also looked nasty. Shouldn't food be visibly pleasing? The sad part is I have 4 more comps so I'll be back regardless lol. Definitely don't go out of your way to come here. Unless you really really want crab legs or lobster. Which I did and I still feel this way. I think if you have to eat there def go to Tim Ho Wan. It's legit.

Yelp
Service here wasn't up to par. It wasn't busy at all. A lot of open seats on a Wednesday 10am. We kept asking for help and waving people down and everyone didn't even look or gave any attention. Mind you it WASN'T BUSY!!! Our server was good enough when we seen him but I couldn't find one server/helper. When I asked to have my steak well done the person there was giving the biggest attitude for no reason, shaking his head and making me feel like I shouldn't get my steak a little more cooked. Today felt like a day where no one there was giving any holiday spirit. Honestly what made it worse my mom flew in to visit and this was the place I chose for her because of their reputation. But today has really let me down. Overall food was the only reason that made our day. The ambiance like I said on a Wednesday was slow and not busy whatsoever. But the food the only reason we came here for is the warm crab! I also did enjoy the lobster roll.

Yelp
For lunch on a Friday afternoon, My husband and I decided to go to the AYCE buffet at the Palms Hotel and Casino. We ended up arriving around 11:30. There was no wait time and we were immediately seated at a table. You can get to the Palms Casino and Resort by taking the I15 and Flamingo Exit. The last time I ate here was over the summer! The AYCE Buffet offers a variety of dishes. You can get seafood, there is a carving station, and during the brunch hours, there was omelet station too! It's a 1 hour and a half dining experience during all meal times. Current hours of operation and cost include the following Brunch - $42.99 Monday - Friday from 9:00 A.M to 2:00 P.M Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 A.M to 4:00 P.M Dinner - $46.99 Monday and Tuesday: 4:00 P.M - 9:00 P.M Saturday: 5:00 P.M - 10:00 P.M Sunday: 5:00 P.M - 9:00 P.M There is a lobster dinner that's offered on Wednesday and Thursday for $79.99. It's from 3:00 P.M to 10:00 P.M. Reservations are highly encouraged. If you're interested in the Prime Rib & Snow Grab Dinner, that is on Friday's only from 4:00 P.M - 10:00 P.M for $52.99. Children prices are slightly cheaper. The AYCE Buffet had a few different stations World Pan Revival The Greenery (Fruits, Vegetables, Breads, Cereals) The Roastery The Hearth Smoke & Fire Sweet & Light I ended up trying the following Pork Loin: Tender and flavorful. This was at the carving station and was one of the best warm dishes that I had at the AYCE! Ham: It was quite sweet! The piece I had was inedible in some parts where it was too dry. Bacon: Crispy and delicious! Hummus: This was flavorful. I actually used the Hummus with the pork loin! Pita Chips: Too hard. I couldn't eat this. Loco Moco: Way too cold!!! The beef patty was all red inside. The eggs and gravy were super cold! The rice was hard. Cheese Pizza: The cheese pizza slice was decent. The marinara sauce was sweet. I got lucky and ended up getting a fresh slice since the pizza pie was just placed on the warming station! Chicken and Waffles: The Chicken was too tough and dry to eat. The waffle was stale. Unfortunately, there wasn't much maple syrup on the waffle either. Biscuit and Gravy: The Hash Brown was really good, but the gravy was cold. The Biscuit was inedible though. It was so hard that it was similar to a hockey puck. For desserts, I tried the following Apple Pie Slice: I tried a bite and didn't really like the flavor profile. The filling used didn't taste like a apple. Chocolate Cake: The frosting was delicious, but the cake was dry. Cinnamon Roll: The pastry was too dry. It could have used for icing on top. The service was okay. The team member assisting our table came over several times to pick up our dishes used from the buffet which was great! We didn't get refills on our soft drinks though and we never received the Mimosas. I'm glad we had a chance to go back to the AYCE buffet, but I don't think I'll be coming back anytime soon.

Yelp
The best buffet we had in Vegas! The crab legs and shrimp are excellent. They also had brisket and prime rib, which both had wonderful flavor. Street corn with hot Cheetos crushed on top had us all sharing this newfound love a with each other and everyone at the table got their own side. Broccoli salad, Brussels sprouts were great flavor and mention worthy. Our waiter Antonia was quick to make sure we had everything we needed and provided great service. Best selection, high quality food, whether you want a huge selection of meats, fruit and veggies, healthy sides that make your tongue slap your roof of your mouth or desserts that could make Willy Wonka sing....they got you. Everyone in a party of nine left happy which is rare. We paid around $50 each for this buffet which was $25 per person cheaper than a few others on strip.

Yelp
My travel companions slept in our last morning but I couldn't leave Vegas without going to a buffet and chose AYCE since I love brunch and I love bottomless mimosas even more. I tried a little of everything that peeked my interest and wasn't disappointed. There were some really delicious and premium items and I received great, polite service, never having to ask for more water or another mimosa. Despite being crowded, the food remained fresh and full and the restaurant including the buffet area was neat and tidy.

Yelp
This review is for the Wednesday-Thursday AYCE Lobster Buffet. The cost is $79.99 and $59.99 for kids less than 11 years old. We were really disappointed. We went for a special occasion having waited a long time to try this. First the price is now $79.99. Aside from whole lobsters, crab legs, and lobster tails there was not much offered. The lobster tails were dry. The only good thing was that the lobster tail was removed from its shell saving you some time. The whole lobsters were a bit better. The crabs legs were over steamed. You are allowed one tail and one whole lobster PER plate. This wasn't really an issue because there was no real line. The sushi assortment was just California rolls and modified Philadelphia rolls. There was also a decent tuna poke. My wife did enjoy the desserts. But there was much left to be desired :-( The carving station was turkey and top sirloin. Would have liked to see prime rib but they have a separate prime rib and crab leg specialty night on Fridays. The buffet does come with complimentary coke soda products and they did have Coke Zero. Our server was attentive. Our reservation was at 5pm and it was not really busy. If you are going to go, we do recommend making an online reservation because we have heard the buffet can get really busy. The decor itself was very nice.

Yelp
I made reservations several months prior since I booked a getaway trip to Las Vegas. I saw a You Tuber's high praise about his Ayce lobster days on Wednesday's and Thursday's. Reservations were recommended so my expectations were high. I took an uber over since I didn't drive. The buffet opened at 3:00 pm and there were lines before they opened. There were two different lines one for reservations and another for people that didn't have reservations. FYI the price per person increased to $79.99 per person. Sure, you can eat as many lobsters tails your tummy can fit, but I was really disappointed with the quality of the lobster, crab legs and the entire buffet overall. The variety fell short of what I had seen from You Tube and for the money it was a disappointment. When I departed, I noticed there was no lines to get in whatsoever. I know there was an ownership change of this casino in 2021 to the CA based San Manuel band of Mission Indians. Not sure if they had a glitch when I patronized the AYCE but hopefully the management improves the overall quality.

Yelp
Only my second time in Vegas and I wanted to be sure to have a memorable buffet experience. AYCE delivered! We showed up right as they opened at 9:00 am. The line moved pretty quickly and they were able to seat us right away. The price of the buffet (no gratuity included) was a little over $93 for the both of us. Once we got seated our server came over and took our drink orders and let us go about our business. The food choices varied widely, from new takes on traditional Mexican foods and Asian foods to typical American stuff like , , and . They also had a nice dessert spread and fresh fruit choices. Even though they give you 1.5 hrs to sit and eat as much as you want, after 4 rounds we were happily done well short of an hour. Definitely an amazing buffet experience and highly recommend for those who come to Vegas.

Yelp
When seeking a seafood buffet in Vegas, couple locations popped on Yelp and we decided to try A.Y.C.E due to ability to make reservations and Yelp ratings. I did an early dinner to have time to walk and digest and there was no crowd when we arrived. Located in the Palms hotel/casino, parking was free and available. The restaurant ambiance is quite modern with food stations separated and spaced out. Our waitress was quite friendly and attentive, frequently checking on us and clearing plates. We came for the lobster and crab leg buffet, and although it's limited to one lobster and one lobster tail per plate, the crab legs were piled on and you can visit the food station as many times within a 90 minute limit. Some crab legs pieces were oversalted but in general, the legs were juicy with abundant meat. The lobsters were quite delicious too. Wide variety of other dishes including prime rib, brisket, shrimp, etc. I tried the prime rib and it was soft and flavorful. The only thing is the prices need to be updated on the website for we ended paying higher than the advertised amount but it was still worth it.

Yelp
You have a lot of choices. Crab legs, top sirloin, turkey, pasta station and sweets. Chef Robert at the carving station is hilarious and will raise you any change he gets. Love that he sings along to the music.

Yelp
Came in the line a lil bit before they opened at 9am. Swiftly got seated! Our server got our drinks and we headed to the food. Early morning and you can tell things are fresh! I love that I can have crab legs for brunch! And its the hot crab legs too not the cold ones. They had a decent amount of variety, even vegan options. The vegan chilaquiles was really good! Had the tanginess that I like. The place was clean and tables were evenly spaced out. It didnt feel crowded at all. A good off strip buffet!

Yelp
After visiting for a previous Yelp event, I decided to treat my sister to a nice brunch at the Palms. We arrived at 10:30 and there was no line at all, which we were so relieved to see. We checked in and were brought to a table immediately. Our server was so attentive and made sure my sisters bottomless mimosas never stayed empty. The food was great! Everything was nice and hot and there was so much variety to choose from. My favorite is the build your own omelette station. They have a ton of toppings and the eggs always turn out fluffy and perfectly done. I also really loved the bacon! It was super crispy, which is how I like it. Their dessert station is unreal. They have so much to choose from and they also had pineapple dole whip! Such a refreshing way to finish up after indulging in everything else. We had such a great experience at AYCE and we can't wait to come back!

Yelp

Yelp
We had Salvador as our server and he made our experience AMAZING. We love that he was attentive the entire time. I hope that next time we come we can request for him or we can get the same experience again. Love the food love the atmosphere. Ask for Salvador !!!! He's the best

Yelp
Antonia made the best paste. Handling the create your own pasta like a pro! Robert craved me the perfect piece of Top sirloin, don't forget to try the brisket too! Salvador is the best server and by far the best customer service we have since we've been here. Thank you all!

Yelp
HUGE SHOUTOUT TO OUR SERVER GILBERT! He's a champ! From beginning to end, he made sure that my party of 7 always had napkins, wipes, condiments & brought us drink refills before we ever had to ask. His level of awareness and service superseded my expectations and took my group's dining experience up a notch! Our party of 7 on Saturday, 11/16 (around 1:30pm) appreciate your attentiveness. My last couple Vegas trips have all included a Saturday brunch at the Palms AYCE Buffet. Unlike its parent location in SoCal, the Diamond Tier Status still holds/treats its Diamond Players like VIPS. The Diamonds/Turquoise line was very short (maybe 3 parties) compared to the regular line (easily 20-30 parties). My brother and I used our combined dining credits ($45 total) & I used my earned rewards to host my family and friends (a party of 7). We had a great time! We indulged in crab legs, shrimp cocktail, steaks, omelettes & so much more! ***HIGHLIGHT *** THEY HAVE SELF-SERVE DOLEWHIP - Pineapple & Coconut! You can get pineapple, coconut, or a Piña Colada Swirl! AMAZING!!! Look at all the drinks on our 2 tables! Thank you for your great customer service Gilbert! This was my niece's 1st time partaking in a buffet and she did work on those crab legs with her dad! AYCE - You've served these legs cold before upfront with the shrimp cocktail and this weekend hot near the Asian table. Having them hot was so much better!

Stef M.

Yelp
Descent price for a prime rib and snow crab dinner night. Prime rib is good and we asked for an extra thick cut. If you prefer it to be warmed and more doneness on the rib, you can ask them to grill it on the side. Crab is just okay, some are good but some are hard to shell because the meat sticked to the shell. Service is good as in we got our drinks refilled a few times. Ambiance is normal, there is no waiting line on a Friday night dinner, we got our seats right away as soon as we arrived which was around 6pm.

K T.

Yelp
FIVE STAR SERVICE!!! Robert, at the Roastery station always prepares the most delicious prime ribs & filet mignon. His outstanding attitude always puts a smile on our face! Our server, Benjie, provided AMAZING service; incredibly attentive & observant to our every need. These two are an impeccable duo! Their above & beyond hospitality leaves us excited to come back again & again.

Yelp
Came for their brunch buffet. Luckily we had a VIP card because we got in right away but the other line was really long. Most items tasted like that had been out for too long. My pork was extremely dry. The chicken and waffles tasted stale. The sausage biscuit was also on the dry side. I had to keep drinking water to get it all down. The positives were the shrimp that were a nice size and the dessert area with very tasty mini donuts and dole whip and vanilla soft serve. I went back for seconds on those. We also had a great server who made sure to get us everything we needed.
google avatar

Jeff Z.

Yelp
Wanted to like this place. We had been looking for a buffet that offered full body lobsters with other high quality fare. The complete body lobster was dry and didn't seem that fresh. The lobster tails were more tender and were better in this regard, but it was disappointing overall. The other food was ok, but not that robust in variety from what you would expect from a Vegas buffet. Before Covid Pechenga in Temecula, CA had a killer full body lobster that was fresh and tender. The body and the claws were tremendous and I was hoping to revisit that quality. Nope. It's not here. The crab didn't help to justify the price of admission either. If the meal was $20 cheaper I still wouldn't want to return for another meal. I give the buffet a C+ at best and that's being generous.

Yelp
I've been to AYCE a couple of times. This time around, I was able to try some other dishes. I tried the loco moco, which was delicious, and the birria was ok. I enjoyed the omlette that was made to order, and the worker was very nice to me. 5 stars for her. The carving station meats were also tasty. I would definitely return again. Keep in mind that the lines can get long, especially on Seafood Crab and Lobster nights. P.S. Bottomless Mimosa included

Yelp
Got seated right away and didn't have to get in the very long line of wait (could have been an hour or so). My daughter had an advance VIP reservation. So hungry and excited to see food, food , food and more food. Overwhelming display of food. Different cuisines but I started with my favorite crabs and shrimps. Juicy, tasty and moist. Tried a few more dishes and I was done. Went for a few fresh fruits, pastry desserts and was happy and satisfied. Nice and enjoyable brunch with family. Won't mind coming back again.

Yelp
I'm super glad this buffet is here, especially since so many have closed for good. While it may not have everything, it has a good amount of items and the flavors are good. Compared to other casino buffets, this seems to be one of the last reasonably priced one that's good. The crab this last time was nicely cooked and not too salty. Steak was also cooked well and didn't need sauce. They also have some great dessert options, including ube ice cream! This is a favorite for many it seems. The pistachio is lovely, too. They also offer bottomless mimosas if you like. The service has been good every time we've come, and it's a good sized buffet and eating area. Quirky photos for decor, but nice. Just be sure to get here early enough to make sure you get in. It's a popular buffet and people are willing to wait in line. There's a cutoff time because they close at 2 or so and then open a little later for dinner. Different nights have special food items, too.

Yelp
Located inside the Palms hotel: a solid buffet on the cheaper side (although they have raised prices recently) I paid $36.99 for dinner in July on a Tue .. there are many specials and dedicated nights but if you want best pricing, come on Mon and Tue night. The highlights are the cravery and Asian food although I would pass on the sushi. Seems to attract lots of locals. Friendly staff who will bring drinks to you, remember to tip!

Yelp
Still a great buffet at the Palms after San Manuel Gaming took over! Finally (finally) was able to secure a reservation a month in advance to partake in the AYCE buffet in the Palms on my birthday! And on a day where there's LOBSTER! Glorious! Believe me that reservation for 2 of us was needed, without it their standby line to eat at the buffet was ridiculous! Glad we made it in on time before the lobsters were in low supply! It didn't take us long to get a place to sit once we got through the reservation line and up to the AYCE cashier. And after that it was off to the chow line! Thankfully AYCE knows the demand for their lobster & crab legs, so they have two stations where you can get them! You know I kept my plates full! It's also very handy they put an empty bucket at your table as well for all the shells you're about to throw away LOL! I like the choice they give you where you can either get messy with a whole lobster, or keep your experience fairy mess-free with their lobster tail option. Already prepped, ready to eat! Although in our experience the lobsters tails tended to be on the drier side from sitting too long in the steamer. The meat could be a tad rubbery if they over sat. So it was whole lobsters for us most of the night, we don't mind getting down & dirty with that shell cracking! And don't forget lots of that drawn butter at your disposal. The cajun butter had a nice little kick to is and was great for dipping seafood! We must have ended our buffet eating at least 3 whole lobsters each LOL! The rest of the AYCE was just OK in my opinion. It seems the focus is on the lobster & crab legs offered, which had to constantly be replenished on the buffet line. The BBQ brisket though wasn't bad at all, super tender & beefy! Don't skip out their dessert section, definitely some hidden gems there too. Bananas Foster ice cream! AND a Dole Whip soft serve machine! At $64.99 a person for the lobster & crab buffet at AYCE it's pretty hard to beat even though by modern standards that's a bit pricey for a meal. We had a $25 food comp at the Palms as well for being on the players club, and that helped out the price immensely! Such added value! It was a Happy Birthday for me for sure! We hope to visit AYCE sometime again soon!

Yelp
Updating my review to include the most recent visit during their Lobster Dinner night! Because these Wednesday and Thursday Lobster nights are hard to get waitlisted for, We made the reservation about 2-3 months In advance when they came out! Some things to note: even with a reservation time, this gets you into the actual LINE on that date and time, not necessarily the table. We ended up having a 6pm "reservation" and waited a little over and hour to pay and get seated. The table we were at had half a booth seating and half chair seating. I enjoy the large tables in order to sprawl our food and condiments out, and I always enjoy that you have room in between parties so you're not overhearing so many conversations near you! The buffet stations are wiped often, and accidental spills on the floor are quickly cleaned. In terms of the seafood selection, I did love that they had two stations to get the lobster, one station that included crab legs. There was a huge soup canister filled of melted butter and another of a spicier butter, both complementing the lobster and crab legs well. Although you are limited to one lobster tail and one whole lobster at a time, I like that you can keep coming back. It made for quite a few plates on our table, but it was still good! Really loved the whole lobster taste, super juicy! The tail was a bit drier since it was cut open already, but still plump! Obviously in addition to the seafood, they had a pretty good selection at the carving stations- the brisket and prime rib were delicious with au jus. I wasn't a huge fan of the other selections, but they do include Asian, dessert, Mexican food, American food, etc. The dessert composed of some cake and pie slices, cookies and bars, plus an assortment of ice cream flavors you can have them scoop for you, hot desserts such as peach cobbler, a s'mores chocolate concoction, bread pudding, and a soft serve frozen yogurt station. Overall, I did enjoy the experience, but could have done without the hour plus wait after a "reservation". The price was decent for the Lobster night at $64.99 if you are a big lobster lover! We didn't go, but I'm interested in the Prime Rib and Crab Leg dinner for $42.99 pm Fridays.

Yelp
About a little over a month ago they went to a reservation system. So you need to plan ahead because they won't take walk-ins unless you're willing to wait for a long time. I got lucky and got in the day before online. If you want to go early you want to plan ahead accordingly. I found the lobster a bit on the salty side this time. But the pasta station was still on point although Antonia gave me the shell pasta instead of the spaghetti I asked for. I think she confused me with another person in line. Antonia did make great though. The sirloin steak was good and I loved the cornbread along with the espresso gelato which was low in sugar. The price has gone up from last year due to Bidenomics. It was $64.99 last year now it's $70.99. Way to go Bidenomis!

Yelp
Yelp Review 2024 #82: I don't get to go to buffets that much anymore. After living in Vegas for a long time, it gets old. Most if not all casino/hotels offer buffets. I have my favorites that would recommend to friends. I don't think I've ever been to AYCE inside the Palms. A friend of mine mentioned AYCE has lobster buffet and that's all she had to say. Somebody in our group made a reservation for us, another friend made another reservation for a different night. Lobster night buffet two weeks apart it is! They have lobster night, Hawaiian night, etc so, be sure to check their website for the schedule. We went on Thursday night. There's a separate line for those with reservations versus walk-ins. We paid and got seated right away. The walk-in line wasn't bad at all. But I'm sure they're busy on weekends. We solely went for lobsters but checked out their other offerings. They have a vegetarian station, 2 lobster stations, carving stations, pizza, dumplings, pot stickers, poke, birria ramen, salad station, fruits, shrimp cocktail, and dessert station. The space isn't massive so the selections were not a lot. But hey, I got my whole lobsters, lobster tails, lobster Mac and cheese, and drawn butter - I was satisfied. The lobsters were sweet albeit small but it's a buffet - you can always get more. The butter to dunk your lobster in is not next to the lobster stations. It's by the salad station. You can get unlimited lobster tails but only 1 whole lobster for every trip. It's nice to eat warm lobsters anyway so, when you're ready for more, come back for another. In total, I got 2 whole lobsters and 3-4 lobster tails, and a side of lobster Mac and cheese (plus crab legs, Turkey, sirloin, ahi tuna poke, seaweed salad, Thai cucumbers, and Dole Whip). Dole Whip was another reason why I liked this buffet. I don't know of other buffets in Vegas that has "endless" supply of this frozen pineapple goodness. I definitely got my $65 worth of food! Service was great. Salvador was our server and he took good care of us. Not an empty glass, not a dirty plate on the table. We got our bucket for lobster shells, lobster crackers, and wipes. For dessert, they have small slices of cakes and pies, cannoli, ice cream, vanilla soft serve, Pineapple Dole Whip, cheesecake, jello, cookies, and mousse. Things to skip: turkey (from the carving station), crispy spicy tofu (from the vegetarian station. They were cold, not crispy, not spicy). We all definitely left feeling stuffed.

Yelp
We were excited to invite some out of town friends to go eat AYCE lobster at the Palms AYCE Buffet. Sadly, it was a BIG disappointment. The Lobster - Look, I've done numerous lobster fundraisers where an amateur crew cooks live lobster for hundreds of people. The lobsters are delicious. Rule #1: DON'T OVERCOOK THE LOBSTERS! That's where it was a massive failure at this buffet. Most of the lobsters were dry & overcooked...and if you want to blame the heat lamps, then don't make so many at a time. Cook more slowly & boil them, don't bake/broil or whatever they did. So, the value at $79.99 definitely dipped massively without decent lobster. The snow crab - Last time, we ate on a Thursday? for snow crab & prime rib. The crab tasted fresh & slightly salted. But, the other night on Lobster night, I don't know who was in charge. The crab was way oversalted! It also didn't seem very fresh, or maybe it was sitting too long b/c the shells were pretty soft and didn't crack easily. Again, another miss & dip in value. Having the two main draws of lobster & crab be subpar made the overall dining experience a little MEH. Our friends were nice to say it was good, but their body language & lack of true enthusiasm was noticeable...and they didn't pay! Our server like most of the servers at the Palms was great. She brought us more drinks, cleared the shells & plates regularly, and got us more wet towelettes, napkins, etc as necessary. The rest of the food was decent. I still liked the cocktail shrimp. They were cold & bouncy. The cocktail sauce was tangy as expected. The sirloin & pulled pork were my personal "stars" of the night. The roasted jalapeno pepper was one of those that surprise you with its spiciness. Had to get some ice cream to counteract it. Desserts were fine. I'm drawn back to the creaminess of the purple ube ice cream, and we tried the pineapple/coconut swirl which was a little more icy than I would have liked, but as a mushy popsicle, it worked. Overall, this lobster buffet is definitely NOT worth $80 they are charging now. They need to pay more attention to the quality of cooking of the both the lobster & crab. These just need proper timing, so if your time management is not good, they won't be tasty. Less salt would help as well. We won't be going back on Lobster night. There are other buffets in town that may be somewhat more expensive, and there may be others that are less (with lobster off-strip) but I guarantee you they won't bomb on the lobster. So we'll spend our dollars elsewhere. Sorry - it was a major letdown Palms AYCE.

Yelp
Wow,trust me when I tell you this isn't just another buffet. Unlimited crab legs and whole lobsters and tails if you Perfer. Tons of delicious foods. Next. Front staff to servers actually love and enjoy their job and our server by the name of EMBET exceeded our expectation 110%. Friendly, happy and accommodating our needs. Not only the presentation and cleanliness and attentive by replenishing the entire food line and more. Thank you Palms and staff.

Yelp
Excellent Sushi chefs. Large menu to choose from. We always get the AYCE and the service is quick and courteous. The place is clean and authentic! We go there often and that's the best recommendation. (Kid friendly too. Get the chopstick trainers.)

Yelp
Disappointing Experience at Palms AYCE Lobster Buffet I don't often write negative reviews, but my recent visit to Palms AYCE Lobster Buffet left me underwhelmed. Despite exceptional service, the food fell short. The Positives: - Outstanding staff and service: Our waiter attentively checked on us every 7-10 minutes, refilling drinks and clearing plates. The hosts were equally impressive. - Unlimited lobsters and snow crab legs, as advertised. The Disappointment: - Overcooked whole lobsters were tough and rubbery, ruining the seafood experience. Pre-peeled lobster was slightly better but still lacking. - Snow crab legs weren't fresh; meat stuck to shells and was lumpy. - Most dishes were subpar. - Salad bar lacked dressings. - Roasting station meats were overcooked (though well-seasoned). - Empty bread baskets and soy sauce/ginger stations. - Average desserts and limited options beyond seafood. Only two dishes stood out: spring rolls and mini poke bowls (lol, right?) For a similar price, Cesars Bacchanal Buffet offers a vastly superior experience.

Yelp
Although there were many options, the food quality was very low. The snow crab legs were not fresh and badly prepared. The eggs benedicts had a minimal amount of egg and was comprised of cheese, an absurd amount of hollandaise sauce, and bread. The lobster roll barely had lobster, it tasted of just mayonaise. The noodles in the birria ramen were not fresh. The dessert bar was basic. For the price, I expected high quality ingredients and freshly prepared food. It looks good in pictures, but everything is cheaply made. The only redeeming quality of AYCE is their variety, and many cheaper buffet places offer more variety as well.

Yelp
We came on a Thursday evening for the lobster buffet ($65pp). Keep in mind that they now require a reservation for the buffet. We booked our reservation a month prior. Nice looking buffet with nice lighting. I would say the buffet is worth the cost if you can eat a lot. They do give you one whole lobster with every tail (unless you get the cool guy that gave us a couple of tails every time lol). However, the tails are a bit on the dry side. We actually ended up liking the whole lobsters way more. If we come back, we'll probably just eat whole lobsters. Yes, they require you to put in some elbow grease, but it's worth it. We also really liked the snow crab legs. The other types of food weren't really notable. The top sirloin was cooked a little too done for our liking (we like medium rare) but had good flavor. The street corn, bread pudding, and poke I would skip out on. They have a dole whip machine and ube flavored gelato, which earned brownie points in my book. I love ube and this is the first buffet in Vegas I've seen that has an ube flavored dessert. If you like lobster, definitely give it a try, but I would stick with the whole lobsters rather than the tails.

Yelp
Went to Palms ayce and it was very underwhelming..came here for dinner and the food wasn't very appetizing . I wasn't able to take pictures buy I did take a picture of the strawberry on their dessert that looked old. Ambiance was ok. Service was ok too.

Yelp
We waited an hour in the claustrophobic/tight space line for dinner on a Friday. I figured that would be the case since they were service crab but the wait was sort of brutal. Once we sat down, the server was very attentive and took our orders for drinks. He was always there to take away our plates and fill our drinks. I appreciated that very much. I thought the other food choices were disappointing. I didn't find anything I wanted to eat at the other station besides crab. We sat by the Mediterranean section and it was interesting to see so many walk by there and didn't put anything on their plate. It doesn't look appetizing at all and I love Mediterranean food. The desserts were just okay but my sister said the Dole Whip Pineapple soft serve was delicious. I didn't find anything I really wanted to I passed on dessert. Overall, I've had better selections at other buffets but this place really had great tasting crab. It was easy to take out the meat when cracked and the taste was very sweet! If you're into crab, definitely worth coming here.

Yelp
Came here on a Thursday night for the all you can eat lobsters. I think it was worth it, the lobsters have a lot of eggs in them, most were juicy but some were dry for sure. Overall, giving it a five star because the service was amazing. Shout out to Salvador our waiter who is super nice and quick. The drinks never dipped below the halfway point!

Yelp
Fantastic buffet with the best price for a down town resort! We were very happy with the quality of food and the service at each of the stations. The prime rib and snow crab night was worth the trip on a Friday! I loved the pasta station, where Antonia was so kind and fun while she made me a delicious pasta dish. I loved the Mac and cheese and the gelato station too. The crème brûlée was notably silky too. My favorite modern buffet in town!

Yelp
We were passing through to enjoy the great outdoors of the mountain timezone. The buffet was supposed to give us a good base of food and nutrients for the trip - but really, we wanted to be naughty and try to burn it all off by the time we got home. The highlights of such a campaign? On a Friday night? My spouse wanted to take advantage of the snow crab legs - the special on Fridays. So this turned into a seafood buffet. I don't eat the stuff but my spouse loved the crab; consistent and abundant for the weekend start. The dessert bar was so much fun. Plenty of options and since it was Vegas, nothing felt like it came premade from a third party vendor. The service was prompt: refilled the stations at an acceptable pace, didn't let our used plates sit for too long, and responded to various requests in a satisfactory fashion. A few cons: The classics were a bit lackluster. It really was all about the smoked turkey and prime rib at this station but the quality gap between the entrees and sides was too wide. The overall vibe of the place is elevated comfort food that accommodates vegan and vegetarian diets (you may enjoy the vegan fried chicken sliders and bean/potato street tacos) but the sacrifices to the presumed menu left us asking why. No (traditional) fried chicken or smoked sausage? It just would've rounded out the menu more effectively. We generally weren't mad about our visit. The crab legs feature worked, and the fact that the pizza at this concept is taken seriously, is a testament about AYCE's attempts to be endearing toward their patronage.

Yelp
159/2024 Located inside the Palms Casino Resort. Friendly staff from the cashier to the hostess and servers. It was Sunday Brunch so there were more breakfast dishes from American, Mexican, and Asian cuisines. Our server was so attentive and always replenishing our beverages especially the mimosa drink. I was just disappointed with couple of the dishes I tried. A star short of 5 due to the CHICKEN & WAFFLE served in a cup that were dry and seemed I got an old batch that was prepared the night before. Waffle was NOT crispy but tasted flavorless like eating a very think cork panels and fried chicken's meat was NOT juicy but dry with no outside crispiness. My 4 stars are for the staff , our server and the rest of the buffet dishes. We sure indeed loved the Snowcrab legs .... They were seasoned perfectly to the taste... and enough meat satisfied my belly after tedious work to pry open those crab legs and forking out with my fingers the shoulder meat . Restrooms are located at the casino area like about 500 steps away ftom the restaurant!!!
