The Best Dim Sum Restaurants in Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"AYCE Dim Sum is the new kid in town and is aptly named for indulging in as much dim sum as your heart desires (all you can eat). Choose between dozens of steamed items such as har gow, ginger and scallion beef tripe to the pan-fried and baked items like egg custard tarts, pan-fried pork buns, and sesame balls. Supplement with century egg and pork congee or sizzling egg fried rice, and wash it down with bubble tea (at extra cost). Open daily, 90-minute time limit. 3 items per person for each round of orders. Discount if paying by cash." - Candy Hom

We received a nice welcome and the order process was explained because you write the order on a paper. They also explained that paying with card has a fee so if you want to save pay with cash. The house milk tea is quite nice. The chicken feet have a sweet taste and my friend liked the ramen which is included in the AYCE, it's just a smaller portion. Definitely a good place to come, nice staff and the bathroom is clean and has a design that matches the aesthetic. Overall a nice place to try some soup dumplings!

Came for AYCE dim sum and had a great time! For $25.99/person, it’s a great deal. I enjoyed classics like shrimp dumplings, siu mai, and egg tarts, everything was hot and fresh. The Snow Mountain Custard Bun was a standout, it was super creamy inside. Service was friendly and quick. Definitely coming back!

This place is an all-you-can-eat dim sum spot, and honestly, the food was great! For just $30 per person (including tax and tip!), it’s a pretty good deal. There are plenty of options to choose from, so you won’t run out of things to try. I went in the evening, and it was nice and quiet—not too crowded. The staff was super friendly, and the service was great. Definitely a solid spot if you’re craving dim sum without breaking the bank! 🥟✨

The radish cake, spring rolls, and fried steam buns were not right. Everything else tastes fine. Although the Hong Kong style fried dumplings was exceptional.

We were glad that we came here despise the bad reviews. We had a pleasant experience. The server really took a good care of us. Changed my dirty plates and my hubby’s plate to a new and clean plate. We had chicken feet and scallop sticky rice so had many small bones and wrapper. The food taste good and had good quality. The star of all the food was Snow Mountain Custard Bun. We were doubtful to order at first. But we were glad that we ordered it. It looked like a doughnut and has gold sweet liquid inside.

The venue is situated at Volcano Hibachi. The service, unfortunately, is quite slow, with us being seated for over 10 minutes without any inquiry for tea. The dimsum menu is quite basic, offering nothing particularly special. The taste of the dishes is acceptable. We would advise against ordering chicken lo mein, soup dumpling, as it is excessively salty. Total bill for 2 is 66.76 + 10 tips. I am a traditional dim sum enthusiast, I prefer to stay with the classic dim sum cart. I am not planning to return to AYCE Dimsum, in Atlanta, as there are numerous excellent Dimsum establishments in the city.

Busy on Mother’s Day as expected however the owners must not have expected the crowd. They were understaffed and service was sub par. Atmosphere of the restaurant is split half and half by a glass wall between the dim sum restaurant and the volcano hibachi restaurant. There are limited seating, the seats along the walls are half booth half pull out chair and the center tables are the basic round tables with rotating plate. It took about 20-30 mins to be seated for a 5 person party. Owners ended up seating another party before us because they were busy busing tables at the same time. When seated, they hand you a sheet where you’ll mark items you want. When you hand it to them, they’ll give you a new sheet of paper to mark your next items for the next round. Depending on what you order, it only takes about 5-10 mins tops for items to come out. However if you order items like the egg custard or shrimp rice roll, it will take long or never come at all. I recommend maxing out as many items as you can so you’re not sitting and waiting for the next round to come around. Food came out hot and was average. Service was manageable but you can definitely see the workers running around doing multiple tasks. The whole experience can be fixed with more employees. We’ll stick to East Pearl for our dim sum cravings for now.

The options were limited but were still good, we didn’t get to try the ramen though, as we ordered over 20 plates of Dimsum for two people lol,
