The food was okay. When I came in no one was in sight. I looked around the dining area at the cool memorabilia and when I returned to the counter they made me feel as if I was sneaking around. After ordering my food I asked if I could sit in the cooler part of the restaurant and was told no but you can go into the bar. When I entered the bar it was smoke filled so returned to the original dining area. Just an uncomfortable situation. The food was okay. I ate most of it but I probably will not return. I had an appetizer pictured and a very simple Philly Steak. They just didn't snap for me. Just my opinion.

Google

This little diner (added onto the Packers bar next door in the 90's) is just perfect! Exactly the kind of service and taste you would expect from a hole-in-the-wall spot on the outskirts of any big city. A small spot with the open-air griddle right there so you can see your food being made freshly. We tried the burger, onion rings, wings, banger sandwich, and apple pie. Prices were great and so was the food. I think the August wing flavor was called Uni and we LOVED it! Be sure and end your meal with a slice of apple pie, the ONLY dessert choice, for just $3.50. Can't wait to try the breakfast sometime!

I can't really say why I like going to this place because it's never really been just on point or perfect or even really anywhere near exceptional. But they do sell pork chops their grilled pork chops of course I'll drop a picture and they're pretty good. But they stop selling at 10:00 p.m.

There were a lot of great reviews about the wings, even on Reddit, where someone from Buffalo, NY raved about them. We ordered 24 to go, half medium, half spicy garlic. Sadly they were all just medium when we opened the boxes. The wait was long from a Tuesday night. Told us it was going to take 20 min and it took 40 min. Plus the wings were overdone and kinda dry. Overall, they were fine. Nothing to rave over tho.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 3/5 - we ordered the daily special of Pot Roast and a Farmer’s Breakfast with over easy eggs and chicken fried steak. The pot roast was tender but the sauce was a bit gloopy and thick. The mashed potatoes were good but the green beans flavorless and soggy. We’re not quite sure what the soup of the day was but we know it wasn’t good. The Farmer’s Breakfast was good but the steak was a bit over and dry. The toast was EXTREMELY buttered which was great for one of us. Ambience: 4/5 - attached to a Rum Runner gaming place, we were a bit hesitant to walk into the little shop. However, it was quite cozy inside but the tables are packed together! The location does seem a bit more run down though. Service: 5/5 - friendly and attentive and made some recommendations on the menu. Value for price: 4/5 - cheap and quick eat for any hour of the day!

Google
First - best wings in town. Always have been. Great burgers. Fantastic brats. If you like Midwest comfort food, this might be the best place to go in Vegas. I have been addicted to these wings for about 20 years now. Nothing tops them. I remember the days when it was like $5 wings and burgers, but that feels like a lifetime ago. 😂 Only started recently going to the cafe side as I usually only ate here when frequenting the bar next door (Rumrunner). Best bar food in town as well probably.

Google
Classic cafe. Don’t shy away because it’s in a strip mall attached to a bar. This little place is a gem for simple classic food that you will love to eat. Very small seating area but everything we ate was excellent. Service was amazing! Our waitress was was everything you want in a small friendly diner. We were searching for a place to eat on the way out of town and 100 percent will be back here again.

Yelp
My boyfriend plays in a pool league and Rum Runner is his billard home. One week, I'm hungry and mentions these "delicious" wings - OK, I'm intrigued. I wasn't ready for how SPECTACULAR these bad boys really are. Blackened and tossed in Cholula - I think they should call them the "Alex" special, LOL! The fries are amazing - we usually need to order a larger one it because they just disappear! Pro tip: have some patience they're a small business and so busy - I have NEVER been disappointed with the quality of food or service. BE KIND. They're doing their best! Stay tuned - Breakfast date in the future is next!

Yelp
Delicious burger and in a small cozy Cafe that opens 24 hours, be right there. Best $15 burger and it was the juiciest and tastiest. Food and drinks were served promptly and server was very kind. Can't wait to come back!!!

Yelp
Met up with friends to have a quick bite to eat before heading over to the strip for a show. It's a very casual, cozy cafe, connected to the Rum Runner Sports Bar. Depending on the sports showing on the large screen tvs in the bar, can determine the loudness in the cafe. Thank goodness for the door separating the two areas as it blocked out the smoke from the bar. Went on a Friday night and got the dinner special of Fish & Chips with coleslaw and a cup of chowder, all for only $9.99!!! The menu holds a large variety of options from build your burger, salads, sandwiches, appetizers, including breakfast served all day. All items are reasonably priced. Daily dine in dinner specials are offered. You can also order for takeout. The service was great and quick. Definitely will be back to this little local cafe.

Yelp
This has been one of those local secrets that's definitely worth checking out. It's right next to a bar Rum Runner for those late night cravings and bar food apps. The ambiance is very casual bar vibes and many just chooses to-go rather than dining in, but again it caters to a specific patron, especially for those late night cravings. Service is okay, it does tend to take long but it's understandable for a small staff at the time I went (late late night).

Yelp
This place would be deemed a hole in the wall for sure, but the food was decent, it's always open & the waitress was fairly attentive. I had the steak & eggs & was pleasantly delighted. The Cafe is attached to a bar (but separated), which seemed pretty full at the time. I think there was a Billiards tournament going on at the time, so people were popping in and out from the bar from time to time. If you are looking for a decent meal late at night, I don't think you would go wrong in grabbing the steak & eggs from here. The prices here are fair, so its definitely a bargain.

Yelp
The worst food I ever ate.. Any good reviews it had was probably from workers, their family and friends. A waste if money. Would not recommend at all.

Yelp
Four stars? I don't think so, but still very good! Came early morning for a quick breakfast before leaving town. Came here mainly for the four stars it's rated as. A real greasy spoon type of place which I love but others may not. The area is sketchy at best. The manager was good guy who takes your order and cooks your food at the same time. Did he wash his hands. Hmm, not sure. Overall, the prices were great! You get a lot of food and it is very good. The value is outstanding! I am from Wisconsin, but probably won't make a return visit. Not what I anticipated.

Yelp
Customer service alone was impeccable, lots of restaurants should learn from this establishment, very personable And felt like I was in someone's home. Food was made with love and don't get me started on them wings , FIREEEE

Yelp
Ditch the strip and get a real breakfast! Affordable for families, and delicious! Great selection, worth the short drive from your overpriced resort.

Yelp
After my exploration at Sunset Park, I came here for breakfast. This is one of the video poker bars that changed after the Clean Indoor Air Act was passed by the voters. This law does not allow smoking where food is served so businesses like this had to go non-smoking or in the case of the Badger Cafe, it became two areas--one for the bar and gaming area, and one for the food area separated by a wall. The other half is known as the Rum Runner and is a bar and video poker place. They are allowed to rbing food from the cafe into the abr area. At the beginning, the few patrons and I had a bit of entertainment. Two women were fighting in the parking lot (verbally) and the language would make a sailor blush. At one point, one of them got in their van and made some circles in the lot before aiming at the other woman--stopping in time. Eventually, she left, and the incident was over. I had placed my order for the master omelette with rye toast. One glitch here was the toast was served about 4 minutes before the omelette was served. The food was OK. The menu is small. The Badger is open 24/7, so if you have the need for food, it's available!

Yelp
What a great little 24 hour greasy diner! It's connected to the Rum Runner gaming place so it's open 24 hours. BTW - they have wifi. I got the Philly Supreme sandwich ($8.99) with a side of au jus and fries with ranch and the sandwich was really good. In my opinion it could have been a bit bigger but it was enough and the sun jus added that extra something that made it awesome. The fries were really good too. We also got some of their beer battered onion rings which were really good. My girlfriend like me mine so good she ordered another one of these for the road. My girlfriend got the breakfast burrito ($7.49) and it also was really good but a little heavy on the oil. To sum it up, the food is good and the prices are low a 5 star experience!

Yelp
I walked in on 7/7/2024 for the first time as a customer at 8:30 am; desiring to order breakfast. There was only one customer already seated and served already. I looked around for a menu and didn't see one; the customer got up and went behind the counter and handed me a menu. I decided what I wanted and stood around for 30 minutes, no one ever took my order; there were two cooks behind the counter. I just left and said to myself, they just lost a good paying customer. I'm having a business meeting in about a week at a nearby building and wanted to order food for about 30 people; and they just lost my business.

Yelp
Food was amazing! Makes me feel like i was back in Wisconsin. Very friendly service. Cheese Curds were amazing.

Yelp
The Service was really bad as we waited over 20 mins and no one acknowledged us being there waiting. Even when I try to flag down two different waitress neither one of them stopped to say hello. I'm very disappointed in this time visit.

Yelp
Looking for sandwich place led to me finding Badger Cafe on Yelp. The place was a typical old-school type diner / coffee shop; nothing special and nothing to complain about in terms of the interiors. Parking was a non-issue so that's always good. We got the spicy pastrami sandwich and tuna salad sandwich both on rye with fries. I had asked for no mayo on my bread but, sadly, this wasn't followed. The tuna was alright; I had to add salt and pepper to get some taste and I now wish that I had ordered something else instead. The spicy pastrami sandwich was yummy with the heat coming from the jalapeño pieces, not the meat. Speaking of which, the pastrami was tender and tasted as expected. Apart from the mayo snafu, I have no complaints on the service. The sandwiches came out quickly and the prices were very reasonable. I think this place is a solid 4 based on today's visit. I'd recommend this joint if you want something hearty and value-priced especially if you have a craving in the middle of the night (it's apparently open 24/7).

Yelp
Went here for lunch on our work break around 1am. Fred was awesome. He waited on us and cooked, he was there by himself! The food was amazing. Then, when we left, our work truck was dead and he found cables and a car immediately to get us a jump to get back to work. Definitely will be back. Badger Cafe is the shit!!

Yelp
the badgers came out and started mauling us they took all our clothes it was amazing.

Yelp
Food was great Service was horrible Joanna was the worst server we have ever had. When she arrived at the table she started off with attitude. When we asked for refills she gave attitude. I asked her that when she had a chance if she could get us a water she gave attitude. Worst experience ever would not go when she is the server on duty.

Yelp
When you come to Vegas to see the Knights play with your fam... eating On The Strip can be too expensive for a fam of 5. So I turned to my trusty Yelp app and found this place. Located 12 mins away from where we were staying -- The Luxor. Glad we went. Filling, hearty breakfasts. Everyone was satisfied. They gladly switched out the eggs on the plate of my "I don't eat Eggs" son for hash browns. No problem. No extra charge. Located in a strip mall that didn't look like all the businesses where still there. Connected to a bar. We went in thru the bar like one person's review said but looks like we could have gone in thru the door right under the sign for the Cafe. Seating area is small, you seat yourself and wait staff and cook is fast. You can tell locals come here. Extra Half Star for offering a Military Discount!

Yelp
On our way outta town and didn't eat breakfast... enter Yelp and Badger Cafe. After Vegas and all the money drains a 1 dollar sign restaurant was just what we needed before we headed on out. Our waitress steered us in the right direction, I was between 2 items and she suggested the breakfast burrito for me and my BF was between 2 and she suggested the Philly cheesesteak for him. I enjoyed my breakfast burrito, it was tasty, but it was a bit greasy for my sensitive stomach. My boyfriend's Philly cheesesteak was the showstopper though. It's sliced angus beef with mushrooms, onions and green peppers and was seriously so good! He also ordered it with a side of au jus. So good in fact that I ordered a 2nd lunch and got that after my breakfast burrito. Yummy! Sides we had were French fries and onion rings, both served fresh, hot and really tasty. Prices are great and super reasonable. Boyfriend got coke which was really tasty and I got coffee which was okay. Food is served piping hot! Would definitely come back and would ask for it dryer, less oil, for my tummy but yes, will come back.

Yelp
Feels like a Wisconsin local dining spot. Good Cheese curds. The Packerstrami sandwich is flavorful. Unlike Wisconsin the portions are a bit small but fair priced. Service is friendly. Great place for a quick tasty meal at any time.

Yelp
Food was great!! My family and I loved the greasy spoon atmosphere. Service was excellent for a busy night. Highly recommend this place if you just want to grub down.

Yelp
Last meal in Las Vegas... After I returned my rental car, my friend, Niki, and I realized that I had over an hour to spend together before I had to check in at the airport. We decided to have breakfast since it was 4am. Haha! We checked our Yelp app and found Badger Cafe. It was a little over a mile away from McCarran Airport and it's a 24/7 establishment! Yay! The parking was easy. Finding the door was not. Turns out that we had to enter the bar next door to get to the diner. Hmmm... Also, the restroom was at the far corner of the bar. We went together... LOL! Even though there were a few women hanging out at one of the tables and some guys playing pool. It was just safer to stick with each other... Back in the connected diner, the server was really friendly and helpful. He made a few suggestions and I chose The Skillet which has chopped up bacon, potatoes, sausage, and eggs. The whole combination is mixed up, fried, and topped with shredded, melted cheese. It was filling and tasty - especially after I devoured the buttered toast. Mmm! Crunchy edges! I used strawberry jam and apple jelly. Gosh - toast is so good when you haven't had it for months! This was a relatively convenient place. We were the only customers at the beginning, but a few more people came in for the build-your-own burgers. I think I should return and try it because it seems popular and reasonably priced!

Yelp
So, I wasn't sure what to expect from a place that appeared to be a 24/7 dive. It was exactly that and I mean that in the BEST way. The service was friendly and prompt. The dining room is small and nothing fancy. However, I appreciated the server greeting us and wiping off our table for us before we ordered. This cafe is connected to the bar next door and they serve food inside their cafe and inside of the bar. I ordered a grilled ham and cheese with chili cheese fries. The grilled ham and cheese was very tasty, exceeding my expectations. The chili cheese fries were averagely good. To finish, I had a warm slice of apple pie. This place is a great stop for late night eats! The prices are great, the food is good, and the service is pleasant. They also have great nightly specials for $9 for a meal. I will absolutely be back.
google avatar

Adriana T.

Yelp
Staff was very friendly. This place is so cool because you get to build your own burger. They give you a check off list where you could pick ingredients and how you want your meat cooked etc. Delicious, delicious, delicious burgers! Their wings are also super yummy! And at a great price... You can't beat that! If you're in the mood for a burger this is a must try place! Besides bar is next door so you can swing on over for a drink or pool game. :)

Yelp
Tried this place for the first time tonight. If you are looking for a good diner this is the place. Decent sized servings. Solid menu, and a decent price point for a change. Deffinitly will be back. Waitress was super friendly. It's nothing fancy just s really decent place. Open 24hrs.

Yelp
Gotta love the Badgers! This place was hopping for a Tuesday night and understaffed. We went in for a quick burger and drank 3 very cold beers waiting for our food. Good thing we were not in a hurry. Our booth was dirty, and food service was slow. The grill serves food in two side rooms as well and it appeared one woman was juggling it all--working hard! The half pound burgers, wings, homemade chips and fried pickles were all tasty. Not healthy, but generous sized portions and good. My order wasn't correct, but no way was I sending it back! The grilled onions I ordered would have started out as the sliced raw ones I was served anyway. My 82 year old aunt would frequently walk up to the pub for lunch--so it comes highly recommended.
google avatar

Yelp
If you like cheap eats this is the place. Good customer service. It's attached to a bar so you can have a few then go next door and order food. It has a old school vegas feel.

Yelp
I wanted some steak and eggs so I found this cafe and decided to drive a few miles off the strip for a bit to check this place out... walked in pretty early with no crowds and was able to quickly order steak and eggs as well as some French toast with bacon, eggs, and hash browns... For the price of steak and eggs, the quality isn't the greatest... but it's a decent meal. My wife's French toast plate was also fairly decent. Only knocks to this place is that service that day was a little slow and it was super smokey when we walked in and smelled pretty heavily of grease... and the decor could use a little updating... but all in all, we left full... soo mission accomplished

Yelp
I actually passing by this restaurant many times, and I thought is a bar/restaurant, but is actually a bar connected to this tiny small wall in the hole place. Got off work early in the morning, and in the area, so I thought I should finally give this place a try. Walked up to the front door, there is a sign says if the door lock, use the door on the left, walked inside, is a bar, and there is a side door on the left connected to the restaurant. I ain't gonna lie, I first walked in, I'm thinking oh...back to 1950's? There is a small counter top, few tables, kitchen right in front of the counter top, couple of old guys seem like they been working there since 1950's. A old customer also seem like he been sitting there since 1950's Even tho this place look old and kinda dirty, but is actually just old, their grade is "A"!! I'm a big fan of A grading restaurant, I feel like I can trust them. Order the NY Steak and Eggs, medium rare, well done but raw yolk eggs, 2 piece of bread, hash brown. I normally only eat Ribeye or Tomahawk Steak, so I wasn't sure about the NY steak, but the steak came out perfectly, I mean like WOW, is really good! If you normally like your steak medium, here you order medium rare, because the steak is not too thick, but thick enough to cook the way you like, like rare, medium rare or medium. I think if you order medium, it will be over cook, that's just my opinion, you order whatever you like. Menu is one page, front and back, just enough, not too much. I can't wait to go back and try something different, so....good. It says here opens 24/7? 24/7? Finally good food that opens 24/7!! Now, that's what Las Vegas suppose to be.

Yelp
The food was delicious and good portions! The child pancakes are huge! The waitress could have been a little friendlier. The regular customers were comfortable and it has kind of a cheers feel!

Yelp
Game changer!!!! Please do not skip this diner. We were looking for a good burger and boy did we get just that. To start we got spicy cheese curds please try them they are absolutely delicious. My husband got a build your own burger which was quite exquisite. Juicy from the inside and nicely seared from the outside literally melts in your mouth. My children and I decided on the spicy pastrami sandwich, I cannot begging to explain the explosion of flavors in my mouth. Pastrami, cheese , jalapeños, pickles on the side in a buttery crusted toast. This is where it's at you guys. My kids got French fries but I opted on chips and it didn't disappoint . So final verdict for this place is if you're in Las Vegas you MUST! Make a stop to this spot. Thank me later

Johnathan S.

Yelp
I asked the lady are the burger pattys premade and frozen she said no and proceeded to hand me a premade frozen burger. I literally would have never got it if she just told the truth. And even if she didn't know I would have at least liked her to ask the cook rather then telling me w e to get me to buy a meal. Which was bogus. I've literally had better school lunch burgers. U can lettuce tomato onion it all up still doesn't get rid of the bad premade frozen beef patty taste

Dewey J.

Yelp
The cooks have no sense of urgency. 45 minutes when it's slow. They need to find a new kitchen manager or get him to make his staff step up

CJ M.

Yelp
Great burger! You can order these while in Rum Runner next door. Burger is fresh hot juicy exactly what you want!
google avatar

Garrett R.

Yelp
This was a nice greasy spoon spot off the strip. The service was prompt, and the food was decent. The skillet was a mixture of flavors, but the biscuit and gravy had alot to be desired. The gravy did not taste right, even though it had sausage, and bacon throughout. If you are looking to not pay an arm and a leg for a decent breakfast, this is a spot I'd recommend.
google avatar

Ted W.

Yelp
Great food. Connected to the Rum Runner bar so kind of a bar atmosphere mixed with old school diner. Not fancy decor but good food at a great price and quick friendly service!

B D.

Yelp
This is the best burger place ever. And it on a actual flame grill. And getting rare. Thank you

Carmen M.

Yelp
Good if you need a quick bite on the cheap and after a night drinking for breakfast. Favorite hangout for just kicking it.
google avatar

Brett C.

Yelp
Stopped there on a Sunday on my way back from Vegas. Packers were playing, so they were only serving off there "Green Bay Packer" menu, which was fine because it had a few breakfast items and a burger, which was what I wanted. The burger was really good as I ordered it with no bun, but it came with all the usual fixings on the side which was nice. My gf ordered eggs and ham steak, which the ham steak was huge and really good. My only complaint with Badger was the plastic utensils they give you. I could not pick up any of my food with the fork as it kept bending. I would straighten it out and next bite it was bent again. It just became very frustrating. I know it is probably convenient and cost effective, but you have got to be Better than plastic utensils.

Juliet P.

Yelp
This is just a local spot, almost a dive. Their AC doesn't work very well - so it's a little on the warm side in the summer, but I still enjoy stopping in! They have a GREAT Club Sandwich! They make it with turkey AND ham, and you can get freshly house-made potato chips with it. That is my favorite thing that they serve. They also have fries, if you prefer. I have also tried their burgers - which were also very good. I'm pretty sure we had breakfast at least once, and it was fine. The staff have been there a while, and all of them are friendly and really great. Stop in for an authentic diner experience!
google avatar

Nadine C.

Yelp
Great service! Great prices. Kids meals are the cheapest I have seen anywhere. Came back the next day. Staff here take care of you! The breakfast skillet was the bomb. Highly recommend if you're tired of paying $$$ on the strip. The badger bites are soooo good.

Yelp
In A Nutshell: -If you're near the airport (5 minutes away) with time to spare before you drop off family/friends & are hungry for breakfast, then I recommend Badger Cafe (Named after the Wisconsin Badgers)! -They are open 24/7 so it doesnt matter what time your flight is. -I enjoyed a couple sunnyside up eggs, buttery sourdough toast, two sausage patties on a hot plate full of crispy hash browns w/ unlimited coffee. -My buddy devoured some lemon pepper chicken tenders w/ fries. -The restaurant is small but the food is good, it shares a glass wall w/ a bar next door. Overall, if you are hungry for a good breakfast near the LAS airport come eat here.
google avatar

David M.

Yelp
This place was on the way to the airport, and it had pretty good reviews on Yelp so thought we'd give it a try. Glad we did. Food was awesome! The hash browns are nothing short of amazing. Just the way I like them. Nice and crispy and delicious. The wife got a skillet which was a lot of food and very delicious. Grandson got two egg breakfast which was only $5.99. can't beat that anywhere. I got the bacon and cheese omelette which was very tasty. I will definitely be back to this place when we come back to vegas. The server Tee is friendly and very helpful. And did I mention? The food is awesome!

Yelp
I LOVE their wings, BUT when I order 30+ wings with 2 flavors and they're SUPPOSED to be HALF n HALF... and I receive THIS

Yelp
If your looking for some classy joint, this ain't the place. If your looking for friendly waitresses and a good meal, this is the place. Coffee is strong! Patrons are locals that know where to get a simple good meal for a good price. If you want hippy dippy vegan foo foo food, go to Fremont street!!
