Every flavor was delicious. The chocolate melts in your mouth. I can't wait to go back for more!! The staff were SO friendly and helpful.

Update: I had to pop into Baked by Melissa to inquire about the Paw Patrol cupcakes and Xavier could not have been more helpful fielding all my questions! I really appreciated his friendly demeanor and the fact that he was so knowledgeable! Thank you Xavier! My daughter and I are from California and we were there in Manhattan the last week of February we stopped by and got some cupcakes and they were deliciously amazing!!! So for my daughter's birthday I surprised her. While we were there we inquired if you guys ship across the state you said yes. And so I placed an order and my daughter received her order about half an hour ago! She was so happy she started crying thank you guys so much!!! This symbolizes our mother daughter trip to New York. I highly recommend cupcakes from baked by Melissa.

Rarely do I write reviews and even rarer do I write about customer service, but I had to write about today. I picked up some cupcakes for my interns this Friday morning and was helped by the wonderful Tatiana (I hope I spelled your name correctly) at the 42nd street location. Made my morning easy and delightful ❤️

Fairly cute little shop that sells tiny bite size cupcakes! They have a lot of flavours and goes for $1USD/piece. The cupcakes were really adorable, but they are way too sweet for me. Wasnt that appetizing in my opinion, but I've always preferred asian cakes more. The staff were also not the friendliest. Seemed pretty impatient.

These cupcakes were delivered, so I was never actually in the store, but they are absolutely delicious!! They are sweet, but for me that makes it all the better. They also come in perfect bite size pieces allowing you to try all kinds of flavors. I'd love to someday personally come in and order.

These are tiny a delicious but pretty pricey. Definitely love stopping here while in NYC! We first tried these out of their little food truck years ago.

Baked by Melissa love the tiny cupcakes. The packaging was pretty. The cupcakes are delicious. The macaroons are amazing.

The cupcakes are great, but customer service was non existent. 5 days before delivery, I tried to change the delivery date. Their Chat option didn't work and I sent a message that they never responded to (even though they said they'd respond within 48 hours). I've ordered from them ~10 times, but this is the 2nd time I tried to change the delivery date and couldn't. I will not order again.

Didn't actually go to the physical location, as this was delivered to my sister in law's house with super cute and thoughtful packaging. The mini cupcakes were delicious and perfectly sweetened!! Each with its own distinct flavor. My fav was the chocolate marshmellow one. This is the perfect gift to your loved ones, or treat yourself and eat the whole box!

When they deliver an item to an address they use FedEx. The delivery was sent to the wrong address, partially my fault however, the address I had put down with an apartment building with an apartment number. FedEx just left it at a number with the House didn't bother to look nor did anyone sign for the cupcakes. Wrong address not an apartment building. Left it on the front porch. My recipient was never called to ask about the right address. I was never called to ask about the right address and when I wanted the items shipped again because FedEx just dropped them and ran Mellisa didn't care ! They they said they use FedEx, and FedEx at their delivery service, regardless where they dropped them, they said I would have to pay for shipping all over again. Because I am an idiot I did pay for shipping all over again. I needed my gift to be delivered. Baked by Melissa trying to get a hold of a customer. Service representative is almost impossible. There is no direct phone number. You to leave a written text message. Someone did return my note and they promised they would get back to me again today and delivery was supposed to be for the next day. No one got back to me again and they were delivered again ahead of time. Melissa's delivery service is disgusting. Melissa is also unhelpful and if you cannot trust their delivery service why should you trust them at all!!! if they know there's an issue with FedEx why did they use them. Not consumer friendly.

They RUINED mothers day for 2 moms. Ordered cupcakes that were too be delivered on the 10th, get a notification that there wad an error in the delivery address, which was not there when I checked it, and pretty much impossible to have been entered on accident. The other order there was no issue with the delivery address, yet as of the 12th, it has still not arrived. Went to contact them during business hours and got hung up on by the recording, tried the live chat and got disconnected, emailed with no response, and like I said still no coals delivered on an order that I paid over $100 for. If you want anything timely, correct, or any human to help you, this is not the company.

I have no feedback on the product because I was unable to get the product delivered. I attempted several times to contact Customer Happiness several times, but was unable to get a timely response. Their phone number is not answered. The chatbot simply directs you to an email form. I would advise against ordering for delivery since they have no ability to respond to customer requests and their tracking information is inaccurate. I have accepted that I wasted the money for expedited shipping since they were unable to deliver the package and I was unable to have it redirected or even redelivered. I'd say don't bother ordering because there is a chance your order will not be delivered and you will get no response.

Update: i finally heard back after i had already cancelled the charge. they were nice enough but there's nothing they could do at this point since i needed them for a special occasion. also, the cupcakes did finally arrive, 2 weeks later. my son threw them out, since they're perishable and they had been out all that time. maybe melissa's isn't the problem but rather, it's their courier service. however, if they're not going to oversee it and take responsibility, it turns into their problem and reflects badly on them. I still feel the same and won't order here again.

I ordered these because I wanted tie dye cupcakes for my sister's birthday who loves all things tie dye. They came on time, the outside packaging was pretty, maybe a tad excessive for the small package inside. On to the cupcakes...I realize they are "mini" but these are tiny like really small. They also arrived and are wet and have a sweaty look to them although they were packed in dry ice. I love a moist cupcake so that isn't the issue. They are just ok and I would say these are highly overrated and overpriced. I paid $53 for 25 cupcakes which probably equals out to be about 4.5 normal size cupcakes if that. I could have bought a dozen full size at a local bakery, just not tie dye for this price and wish I had, Lesson learned. I realize part of the cost was Fed Ex shipping, so take off $20 and I still wouldn't pay $33 for these ever again.

Even Duncan Hines is shaking his head. $100 to have the driest crappiest mini cupcakes delivered. Do yourself a favor and spend $6 at the grocery store and do it yourself, Total waste of money. Seriously, I will you buy you a muffin tin and those paper cup things.

Ordered cupcakes and picked my delivery date. I had planned to treat my grandkids to an early Valentine's Day celebration on the day I babysat them (2/12/25). Confirmation on the order said they would be delivered by 8:00 pm on 2/11/25. Cupcakes didn't arrive until almost 18 hours later. I wasn't able to share them with my grandkids as the cupcakes didn't arrive in time. I emailed Baked by Melissa in 3 occasions and never received a response. Definitely won't ever order again.

I just ordered a Valentines gift from Baked By Melissa for a client and was completely embarrassed. The order arrived and didn't have a gift card, so the client didn't know who they were from. They were also all smashed and because they didn't know who sent them, they couldn't contact me. I only found out a few weeks later after asking them about the delivery. I have since tried multiple times to reach out to Baked By Melissa without any response. Terrible customer service!!! I used them in the past when they were apparently a smaller company and all was good and now it seems they don't care about their customers! Do NOT recommend. BAK

Had the cupcakes home delivered for hubby's bday. They look and taste wonderful, but I had no idea they were infused with ALOT of artificial colors and flavors... which make me ill. I'm glad my husband likes them and doesn't have food sensitivities, but it was my mistake by not looking at the ingredients prior to purchasing.

There is NO customer service beginning with the NY phone number that is never answered, followed by email that is not answered. My gift that I sent was delivered completely damaged, a hole in the box, had been opened and re-taped, the interior boxes were ripped and damaged, cupcakes were gone, as was my gift note. I tried calling the NY number and after several times no answer, diverted to send an email My email sent now 6 hours ago has not been answered nor was my email yesterday when fed ex -not this company- sent a cryptic text that the delivery was delayed by an outside source. The source that this company chose .DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. iT WAS A VALENTINES DAY GIFT. THIS IS THE WAY THIS COMPANY TREATS ITS CUSTOMERS. AWFUL. ONE STAR IS TOO GENEROUS FOR THIS COMPANY RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!

We loved the people helping us in this shop, they were so funny and kind!! The kind man who packed our order was so patient with us as we went back and forth on what flavors we wanted! The cupcakes are always outstanding as always!

This is from earlier this summer. I put in a large order well in advance to have cupcakes delivered to a client's offices on a specific date between 9am-11am. At 10:35am on that date, I received an email (while at the client's location) stating that they were out of certain cupcakes, so they would wait on me to provide a response on replacements before sending anything out. There is no phone number to call so I had to try to communicate through a chat on the website via my phone, and the chat kept timing out. I don't understand how you tell someone towards the end of their delivery window that something needs to be replaced and then provide zero customer service - this was an extremely frustrating experience and I'll never use them again. There are plenty of other bakeries. Thankfully, my client was extremely understanding but this really made us look bad.

Came here because I follow Melissa on Tiktok and she puts out great content on healthy meals. I for figured I'd give this a try since there are so many shops in NYC and the mini cupcakes look amazing. However, the cupcakes were not up to par. For the price $12 for 6 little mini cupcakes, I was taken back. They were extra sugary, lacked depth and not fully cooked. I understand moist but it was a bit runny for my liking. I think the red velvet might've been the better one that I tried. I wasn't sold on this place. I'll stick to her healthy tik tok recipes!

A friend sent me these cupcakes for my birthday. I love that they are tiny, adorable, and kosher! Not only that, they're delicious. The packaging was so cute and it had a great variety of flavors. The delivery was smooth and the service was great! I had no issues. Would definitely recommend!

Now that we are getting through the pandemic, they do not give you a choice of cupcakes, you have to pick a pre made pack of cupcake flavors! Takes a little bit of the fun out of choosing ! My daughter likes these cupcakes and I try to make her happy (she is in high school). So the experience is a bit less fun than it used to be. It used to be fun treat to pick out the flavors and have fun but now it's more of 'here are your choices and you pick one or the other.' Their locations are all over the city - so you never know where you will find one!

Baked by Melissa used to be a whimsical, novel bakery for mini cupcakes with a large variety of flavors. They are still a good option, but the experience isn't quite as fun as it used to be. Years ago, you could pick the flavors you wanted and purchase just a few cupcakes or larger sets. Now, the smallest quantity you can get is 12 cupcakes and there's no customization of flavors in the premade packs. It's a great treat for birthdays or office parties but it now feels quite corporate and has lost a bit of its charm.

I sent these to my cousin before reading the ingredients. Look at the ingredients for the tie-dye cupcakes alone below. The dyes are known carcinogens. The seed oils, emulsifiers, artificial and natural flavors, xantham gum, etc. are all inflammatory. I get indulging on special occasions but these are really bad for you. I feel bad for getting this as a gift. Not worth it. I was receiving a ton of emails about 'it's not too late to receive your cupcakes by Valentines day' So I decided to order. Did not receive on Vday, had nothing to give my BF. Customer service is THE WORST!! Emailed- still no response, tried calling, can't get a person. Social media is a joke, they don't help. I've seen tons of complaints on there about the same issue. No cupcakes and no response from their team. I will never give them my money again. They could care less. You really need to regroup and come up with a better customer service plan bc this is not it.

These cupcakes are terrible. $70 for 50 one-bite cupcakes that are slimy and taste worse than boxed cake mix. I asked my kids which flavor they liked best and they both said "I don't know because they all taste the same." Huge bummer!

Can not comment on the quality of the product because it keeps getting delivered to an address that does not exist. Terrible customer service. Emails go unanswered and cannot leave a voice mail. Will not order from them again!

I placed an order and a week in advance I emailed asking to change the date to a day earlier. I got a response back saying my order was updated and I would receive it on the day I asked the change for. I never received my order and emailed that day several times to which I never received an answer. I paid over $15 for shipping to not receive it when I asked nor get a response back.

We placed an order on Monday for a Thursday delivery as a surprise for my sister-in-law's birthday. Delivery was to be made by a courier between 5-7 pm. Delivery was never made and we received no notification. Friday after make several calls, which went directly to voicemail and instructs you to email them. After reaching out by email we finally received a response. Driver couldn't reach my sister-in-law so left with gift. Requested delivery be made Friday afternoon. Had to inform my sister-in-law of delivery and ruin the surprise. She waited all day for the delivery and it was finally made at 8:16 pm! We wanted to support a local NY business and this the thanks we got! Customer Service is HORRIBLE and we will never use them again!!

We saw this place right after visiting Grand Central Station and as it is my wife's namesake, we had to stop in. We didn't even know what they offered as a product other than it was "baked by Melissa". After being warmly greeted once inside, we discovered this place is known for mini cupcakes. Very small, bite-sized and artistically decorated, these round little cake bombs were delicious! We bought a six pack of them and consumed them at the nearby main library terrace. All were very yummy as we each had half of every one so we could try them all. Not too expensive for a quick afternoon snack. Great place to try when you run across one of these shops.

Just received omg gluten free. They are melt in your mouth delicious. Very fresh and arrived in perfect condition.

Adorable, Cute assortment of little bite-sized cupcakes! Each little cupcake resides in its individual bubble - great idea to separate and stabilize the cupcakes. Although it would be much better for the environment if they could substitute the plastics with much more environmentally friendly materials. The cupcakes are very pretty to look at, the taste is good but not amazing. Very creative flavors. I do like the idea that I can eat a dozen cupcakes with different flavors in one sitting!

This is the 2nd year in a row that I've place an order as a birthday gift and it hasn't arrived on time despite the fact that I paid extra to choose my delivery date. I won't be ordering again

Ordered these cupcakes for my partners birthday and the delivery was taken to the wrong city so unfortunately we didn't get them for the birthday party. I contacted the support team to see if I could get a refund since they wouldn't be delivered until Monday and my partner was leaving for a business trip that morning. The support team wasn't helpful at all and we had to settle for an ordinary cake from a grocery store for the event. Sad to have paid for these cupcakes for them to end up being thrown away

Ordered cupcakes on 2/25/25 to be delivered to my daughter who goes to college out of state in the Washington, DC area. Not some rural backwoods. Cupcakes never arrived. Impossible to reach anyone yesterday, but finally via chat received word they'd be delivered. Never happened. Spending hard earned dollars on college but want to do something nice like order ridiculously over priced small cupcakes. All over website that they "ship anywhere". After 3 emails with no response, chat today says, delivery dates are just "ESTIMATES". What? You had a weeks notice! This isn't 2002. Absolutely one of the most frustrating companies to deal with- impossible to reach with terrible customer service. And a quick google search brings up the founders TikTok page where she shouts out women - how about you consider my daughter working hard in college to get nothing on her birthday?! Or just keep making TikToks from your $1M dollar kitchen. DO NOT USE THEM TO SHIP CUPCAKES!! You've been warned.

I went to the Seaport pop-up in Boston. I paid $37 for 25 tiny bite-sized cupcakes. And then I found out they're not even fresh - they're frozen. I feel like such a sucker. They taste no better than a box of cupcakes you could get at any major grocery store. And they're exponentially more expensive. I'm sitting at the airport now eating a Hostess cupcake that I bought at the airport convenience store and it tastes exactly the same. And those are two full-sized cupcakes for $1. They should change the name of this place from Baked By Melissa to Frozen For Phonies.

After watching endless sponsored advertisements on social media, I ordered those cupcakes. Paid $47 with delivery and for me it's absolutely not worth it. Tiny tiny cupcakes arrived in ice pack. They were sweaty, wet like straight from the shower (yes, they are moist but they were wet and shiny from moisture like crazy!). I had difficulties to pick them up from the form, they were fragile and sticky. Bottoms of brownie ones fell apart. What a waist of money. Just very disappointed.

I have supported Baked by Melissa for years and just had a horrible experience. I ordered a pack of cupcakes to my home that was needed for 2/13 and was supposed to arrive on 2/12. I got an email that this package was delivered, but it was no where to be found. After looking into their email I can see that I did enter my correct address and they changed the address of my order to a different town, where I assume the order was delivered. Right away I emailed them to try and resolve this and get a new order out ASAP, I followed up a few times for 2 days through email and no response. I called multiple times that same night. About 3 days later at 7 pm I received a call saying "if you have any questions or concerns call us back", them knowing they have ignored my emails for days. I tried to return the call the next day multiple times and could not get an answered call, person on the phone or a call back. I have sent numerous emails since and got no response back. At this point I just want a refund since they will not be here in time, looks like it will need to be disputed. Honestly disappointing business practices.

Bravo! Baked by Melissa! Your team did a fantastic job sending my daughter Jessica some beautiful cupcakes for her birthday. We live in California and my daughter lives in New York. Since we couldn't be with her on her birthday we wanted to surprise her with some cupcakes that she could enjoy and share with her friends and co-workers to celebrate her special day. Unfortunately, I didn't have a lot of time and Baked by Melissa only had 1 day to make and deliver their beautiful multi-flavored sweet confections. I easily ordered on-line the Birthday package with 25 latest & greatest cupcakes and 25 of the favorites in a groovy Happy Birthday box. I was able to order,pay and give delivery gave instructions all on-line with their very easy to use app. Thank you Baked by Melissa, Jessica had a great Birthday surprise and you made all of us so happy. P.S. They loved every flavor!! I promise to spread the word.

Ordered for a Valentine's Day for son and friends in nyc. They delivered to our home in Chicago by mistake. Called 3 times and sent 2 emails. No reply. Low IQ alert. Never again Ps. Donated to our local police department.

Horrible customer service! My order arrived and it was not at all what I actually ordered. I contacted customer service and got one response asking what I had actually ordered (shouldn't they know??) I replied with my proof of purchase and they literally ghosted me! After multiple additional emails, I never heard a word back. I had to do a chargeback on my credit card to even get my money back.

Order did not arrive for my son's birthday party, which was a huge dissapointment, but what really made me swear them off was the complete lack of customer service. No one answered emails or messages, it was extremely hard to get a hold of them and they were posting happily away on the Instagram stories, but didn't seem to care about my issue. Would not trust to order from them again after that experience.

This place is terrible. They delivered everything to the wrong state, and now they're pretending like the problem with our NEVER RECEIVING OUR CHRISTMAS GIFT ORDER is because they tried to help us out and reroute an existing order while it was in transit. LIARS! They told us to keep or throw away the order that showed up in the wrong state, and they were issuing a brand new order that would show up by 1:00 p.m. on 12/21. It's after 5:00 p.m. on 12/22, we're closed tomorrow, and NOTHING HAS SHOWN UP. Now they're refusing to give us a refund, and they're telling us the order will show up by Tuesday next week. Like we care at this point?! DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!

Cupcakes tasted good but they are way to expensive for how big they are. These cupcakes are bite sized (literally - around an inch in diameter, and I paid almost $2 a piece for them. I will not be buying them again.

I got over 200 cupcakes delivered to me in Baltimore. They got delivered right when they said they would in packaging keep them cool in the summer. We got regular, vegan and gluten free cupcakes so everyone could have cupcakes. They were a fan favorite - people kept coming back to try multiple flavor. I highly reccomend baked by melissa for a party to have mini cupcakes instead of full sized cupcakes.

Just not good. They are gummy and taste like they were made with a box mix, frozen, and then thawed. Far too sweet with nothing to counteract. Just truly not worth it.

I ordered the vegan cupcakes to be sent to a friend and paid for express delivery. It was to get there by the 6th of April. I received a confirmation it would be. 1. They never showed up on the 6th. 2. I called and left 3 messages on their "happiness' line which ensures they will call back and I was NEVER called back. 3. I tried to track package and it said it was being picked up on the 7th but no delivery etc 4. I emailed and finally got an answer back that they would credit me the shipping on my next order - really? Why a credit and not a reimbursement. Customer service was awful. Would never use again and asked them to credit my card but haven't heard a word. Don't understand this! 5. It did finally arrive but after the date where it was supposed to arrive when there was a small gathering expecting the dessert!

I have received so many positive reviews that upon receiving these cute little mini cupcakes to hear that they could not stop smiling & the EWWWW AWWWWWW sound while they are eating them. Each family member that I asked told me my favorite was Peanut Butter and Jelly. Another cousin said I love chocolate chip mint, my sister in-laws said she loved all of them! Being that my loved ones enjoyed what they received sooooooo much and they did not stop thanking me for the treat. I contacted Baked by Melissa Customer Service Team and asked if I can get a treat myself being that my birthday was on May 12, 2023, and I was turning the big 55. I spoke with Rosalie | Customer Happiness Associate and she took the time to email me and told me I will receive a 100 sweet reward for my birthday so I can treat myself. I also wanted to experience what everyone else was talking about. That week I placed my order, I received my shipment to enjoy with my husband. I ordered it to arrive after my Birthday being that I was out of town. Online you can also choose the date you want it to arrive to your home which was May 16th, 2023. When I placed my order, I had to pick cupcakes that my husband is not allergic to. He is allergic to chocolates and nuts, so I ordered a few different flavors for him. Baked by Melissa has a variety of flavors that you can pick and choose. Create your own personal package. You guys' ROCK!!! This is a nice gift to give to anyone to show that you care about them, and they are loved. My momma always said that people love to sample the little things and how little they are. OMGoodness!! I had no idea a tiny bite size cupcake be so amazing! I ordered for my sister and sent her the birthday sampler or such.. she loved them. so I ordered the 2 package trays for ea of my kids birthdays in November.. my son, 29 years and daughter 38 was in heaven.. they did share a few with me and I loved the ones I had.. the peanut butter and jelly was yummy, the cinnamon one and the mint ch chip!! Oh my!! deffinently pricy but over and above a great taste experience!! funnt thing, I booked a hotel in Manhatt in December before a cruise and across the street is "Baked by Mellisa's" totally going there !

I can't call these cupcakes. They are one bite of a piece of cake decorated. The taste is good and decoration is okay but the price is absolutely astronomical for the amount of product you get. These are the the same price as Bundtinis which are about 5 times as large and taste better.

I love the story behind these mini cupcakes! The owner started it 10 years ago after she was fired from her job in advertising. I first saw these bite sized cupcakes at parties where the presentation was so beautiful. And they taste so great! Love their collections like "latest & greatest" where you can try all of their best sellers. These make the perfect gift (includes beautiful gift boxes!) or treat to bring over to a friends place. If you haven't tried them go now!

Baked by Melissa is so wild and chaotic with color! The cupcakes itself are so cute and artsy that it's honestly kind of hard to want to devour them. They also come in different cool flavors, all of which sure are tasty! However, they are INCREDIBLY expensive. Each teeny tiny cupcakes (not much larger than an inch in diameter honestly) is almost $1, so prepare to spend if you want their boxes.
