Google
This place is I the heart of the down town area. Surrounded by shops. They have the biggest mozzarella sticks i have ever seen. The BBQ chicken pizza was absolutely great. Good wine and great cream soda Good all meat pizza Great greek salad Mac and cheese with bacon was good need a little salt and peper.

Google
Had a great meal here that was ready very quickly. They had great vegen/ dairy free options. Some of the best dairy free pizza we have ever had! Staff was friendly and efficient. The meat balls where also great and a huge serving for the price. Very happy with our experience.

Abby R.

Google
Food was great! We got the meatball appetizer and old skool pizza as well as a caprese salad. Our friend ordered the Makin bacon pasta bowl which looked and tasted amazing. Service could have been better since there was a mix up on our order and the table next to us kept getting our food. But bless her heart our service was trying her best. Overall will definitely come again.

Dave R.

Google
This was truly a great eating experience. They had a great selection of pizza and you can build your own to your what you want. But there were also a number of ready-made recipes. The pizza was outstanding very, very tasty, perfect! We also had the wings, they have other appetizers there as well. It was kind of a small place so it didn't look like it could hold more than 30 people at a time, but there was some outdoor seating. The staff was very, very friendly and very attentive.

Kyle O.

Google
Friendly and upbeat staff. Fast service. Great wood fired pizza. Fresh ingredients. Crispy crust. Generous toppings. And they have Boylan sodas on fountain!!!!

Morris L.

Google
I can tell you from experience that if you have a wood fired pizza oven in a restaurant you have to know what your doing. Bambinos didn't disappoint! We had delivery after a long day outside and our order arrived on time and was perfect. Great pizza and sides! Highly recommend and we'll be back👍👍

Google
Was wandering around trying to find a place to eat as I was new to the area. Went in, saw the fire from the oven and I was sold. The people working were funny, helpful, and genuinely pleasant. Pizza was honestly the best I’ve had. 10/10 will be going there again next time I’m in town.

Google
First time here and it was delicious. Got a Buffalo chicken pasta and build a pizza. It was different but really good. They have good ice tea and crafted sodas. They have different size pizza, salads, pastas and wings. They have friendly employees. Will be going back!

Yelp
I'd like to first start off by say I am biased toward BYOP (build-your-own-pizza) places. I absolutely love being able to create my franken-pizzas but of course the quality and experience have to match up to the expectation right? It most definitely did goodness. So its a build your own pizza place with an outdoor patio which coming from the South I was familar with places like Mod & Blaze. Honestly Bambinos took me by surprise with how banging it was. So first off ain't no thin crust here. We are talkin a PAN PIZZA PERSONAL. I should end the review there cause that should be enough no? The toppings now besides the classics meats and veggies I want to bring special attention to a few. One, banana peppers. We need a law right now to have every pizza place carry banana peppers such a game changer on the pizza. Secondly, the green chile. Look I am a southern transplant from Texas so my tongue and palette is new to this green chili in CO, and mixing that all the other ingredients just made this incredible experience. For me thats the appeal and strength of BYOP places, if you aren't piling on the ingredients to kingdom come and building something hefty, I feel like you might getting less value both personally and financially for your experience. If you tryna get your big back on and have a little artistic fun creating the personal pan pizza of your wildest imagination, give Bambinos a stop on by.

Yelp
You order at the counter and someone brings your order to the table. We ordered wings 10. We got 1 drumette, and 9 flat (or wingette) pieces. Meatballs. 3 in a hot (temp) sauce with cheese melted. Meatballs were lukewarm. Two pizzas. They were okay. Sm for the price. Tasty, but uneven in coverage thanks to bubbles.

Yelp
I love bambino's! They have the best pizza downtown Colorado Springs. I love the build your own and the sizes they have. Every time I've eaten here I'm never dissatisfied. The staff is very friendly from the time you walk in, while you're ordering, until you leave. I don't drink soda but I do here. Their soda is made with pure sugar cane. I always get the blackcherey and it's soooo good! If you're craving pizza I highly recommend Bambino's!

Yelp
Pay as you go ordering. The staff were all very friendly and brought the food to our table. Pizza was very good; husband liked the meatball appetizer. Wish I would have taken pictures We will stop by here again.

Yelp
after a full day of black Friday shopping, we worked up an appetite and we're craving pizza. Looked up options in the area and came across Bambino's, which has been in business since 1978. They serve Neapolitan thin crust pizza, which are 11 inches for individual size. My boyfriend and I split one and it was more than enough for both of us. Plus we added the Arkansas salad, which was very fresh and flavorful with beets, Gorgonzola cheese and roasted pistachios for a nice crunch. My boyfriend's nephew tried the mac & cheese and he devoured it. Great spot for families.

Yelp
Love this place. Neapolitan pizzas in wood oven. Service is fair and the atmosphere reminds me of an old school pizza joint I would go to when I was in High School.

Kay S.

Yelp
The pizza and meatballs were fantastic! The sauce they use is so good! Highly recommend this place for fast service and a friendly place!
google avatar

Yelp
Cozy, friendly pizza joint with excellent pizza! Our son said this place was great so we decided to try it out. And it's pretty small, but the staff is very friendly and helpful. We each got our own little pizza, which was not so little. My husband got the veggie pizza while I got the green hippie .Both were excellent. I love the charming decor and the wall of Ivy plants. It made me feel comfortable and welcome.

Yelp
The food was great but the delivery had some issues. Not sure if that's anything the restaurant can resolve or not, but two things stood out that were frustrating after spending over $100 for dinner for four: The Caprese salad looked like it had been thrown around (see pic) and the delivery person did not ring the doorbell (and no, I did not choose contactless delivery) and the food stayed out on the porch in -5 degree weather for 6 minutes until we knew it was out there so therefore it was cold. Once we reheated the pizza and put the Caprese back together, everything tasted fantastic. Wish there was a way to determine the tip considering how it was delivered. That 20% tip was not deserved.

Yelp
Amazing Service! Delicious personal pizzas! Good clean ambiance. I had a Hawaiian ply jalapeño my fav. My husband got the Spicy pig. And we also order the meatballs. Everything was delicious & and made to order. If you're craving pizza I recommend coming here. I love the pizzas are a personal size so I don't have to compromise what I want to order.

Yelp
I talked with the owner at Pottery Barn a few months ago and he told me how he has a gluten free pizza (we were talking about Celiac disease) and I was excited to try it, me being new to Colorado I wanted to know where all the good gluten free / celiac safe places were! Well Celiacs, this place is NOT Celiac safe... my body is going through it... and I was told that they are very cautious with people who have Celiacs, I mentioned it twice. I will say, this is by far one of the best gluten free pizza crusts I've had. The co-owner asked which sauce I wanted, Marinara or Alfredo, Marinara please! She got the spoon, poured marinara on pizza crust, spread with the same spoon that's also touched other pizza's that are not gluten free, and that's how cross-contamination happens. SO... I'd love to eat here again! I really like the location, atmosphere, staff is so sweet! But disappointed. Maybe we can have a designated spoon for marinara and Alfredo? Or have a marinara and Alfredo container that is designated gluten free? I think the owner is very sweet and I complimented him to the woman that has been working there for a long time, think she said 10 years? Anyway, Celiac safe would be cool! Gluten Free is great, but Gluten Free exists because of us people.

Yelp
What a fun place to eat. It was very inviting from the street. If it has a brick oven then it has to be good. We built our own which is the way we like it. The crust was good and the ingredients appeared fresh. Everyone was nice. The decor was fun with hanging live plants and old wooden planks on one wall. Outside seating is available. It is very affordable and more than you can eat. Parking can be a challenge at certain time but can be within walking distance.
google avatar

Yonge S.

Yelp
The employees are serious about making a really good pie. We've enjoyed the salads as well. Our favorite is the beet salad. The dressing is a perfect vinegarette. To go or sit down. Nearby Parking can be a challenge at certain times.

Yelp
Extremely tasty pizza! The atmosphere inside is good, I like the plants on the wall. The pizzas are very customizable and cooked well, nothing basic about them! Two 14 inch pizzas and Two fountain drinks came out to 35.00
google avatar

Lauren S.

Yelp
Delicious! Crust is thin, but fluffy! In from out of town and this place hit the spot. Highly recommend for pizza.
google avatar

Gavin K.

Yelp
The pizza was Amazing!!! They had really friendly service that thought of the customer! It made me feel relaxed and the place was clean and chill besides the low temp everything was great!

Ron D.

Yelp
Bambino's continues to impress with great food and service. Went there for my Birthday with my kids and family. Everyone left full with plenty to go in the pizza boxes.

Jackie W.

Yelp
We placed a pick up order. The pizza was Just how I like it. Not too thin and brown bottom. The ingredients was tasty and the wings were spicy and there were a lot ants, which I appreciate.

Lauren J.

Yelp
Very nice staff and outdoor seating. You can watch the man making dough through the window. Great for kids. Good food.

Dan A.

Yelp
Came up from Pueblo, great experience!!! Great food and Excellent customer service

Unique P.

Yelp
Pizza are customizable and perfect for one or to share! They tasted great and atmosphere was relaxing

Yelp
I'm dairy-free and saw that Bambino's had vegan cheese, so decided to give them a shot and ordered takeout. When it was ready, I waited in the car and asked my husband to grab the order. He brought it back to the car and upon opening the box--I saw that it was burnt. When my husband asked them to remake it, he told them it was burned because they usually add butter to the crust. As an establishment that makes vegan/dairy-free pizzas, you would think they'd use an alternative like olive oil to brush on the crust before cooking. Anywho, they remade the pizza, and while it wasn't burnt--the crust was coated in cooked flour. Needless to say, I was bummed and don't think we'll try them again.

Yelp
This is one of the best pizza places we have been and what amazing staff and fun "build your own" experience. The look and feel of the restaurant was also amazing. This is clearly homemade, fresh, high end ingredients food! Pastas, salads, pizzas, and tons more. And guess what? We didn't have to mortgage the house to pay for it! Truly great prices and amazing food! What a wonderful find for our family. We will be back!
google avatar

Tyson R.

Yelp
Needed a pizza fix while running errands so we decided to try Bambino's Urban Pizza. The crust was too thin and cracker crisp for my liking. The sauce seemed to be crushed tomatoes and didn't really have any kind of flavor. The rest of the toppings and cheese was nothing special.

Paola S.

Yelp
I loved the pizza and the buffalo pasta!! so yummy!! the workers were very nice! it's so cute in here too!
google avatar

Velnette J.

Yelp
Always a favorite!!! I love the options for gf and vegan!! The pizza is just always amazing. We love the wonderful options to top our pizzas!

Patty Z.

Yelp
First time customer. I purchased a certificate on Fox21 Foodie Finds. We were pleasantly surprised. The pizzas are made to order, fresh salad options and really friendly service. We'll definitely go back.

Zach F.

Yelp
The food was great the staff was awesome through my whole experience.....But they use door dash and i would recommend picking up your food. Door dash never brought my food even tipped before hand. Not a fan of delivery services.
google avatar

Matt S.

Yelp
You walk in and order like cafeteria/Moe's style and pay. Then food comes out shortly after. Pizza was pretty good and came out quick. Service was good as well. Would go back!
google avatar

Michelle H.

Yelp
Came in yesterday with my husband , our son and our grand kids around lunch time and I am so happy we did ! Great service , delicious pizza and the restaurant was immaculate and the prices were completely reasonable! I highly recommend this amazing establishment
google avatar

Laura M.

Yelp
Came here last minute for our son's birthday. Toppings were of high quality but dough lacks some love. Extremely clean, indoor and outdoor seating. Unfortunately the mozzarella was tough, but the balsamic was extremely tasty. Staff was very nice and informative.
google avatar

Grace L.

Yelp
I always pick up make your own pizza places for road trips with the fam. It's just easy and they each get what they want and back in the car they go to eat it. Works especially well for Covid times! You can't go wrong. We've had great pizzas and some ok ones. We like Mods but like some Mods there are good ones and ok ones. Never been here before so I chose this because we are in the area and it rated well. We went in masked and 1 by 1 we ordered. It was quick and efficient and off we went with our dinner. 1 thing we noticed while waiting for our pizza outside was there was a huge homeless population around this place and 1 homeless guy just grabbed a pizza off of a table someone left. Everyone sitting outside just stared and look worried. Guess that's ok but it didn't feel safe on the outside this particular night. Anyways the pizzas were delicious. They were done well. Nice crust and ingredients tasted fresh. Nice younger workers doing the line. Oh only complaint is there were some flies about the ingredients lol we saw that but knew our pizzas would be fired up so ignored it but that was the only thing. Good stop!! Small little place with outdoor seating. Good find! Will be back when we are here again!
google avatar

Cheri Y.

Yelp
I don't know if this is a chain or locally owned but the style is similar to Mod - you can build your own. If they are locally owned, definitely support them instead! The food was delicious and the service was very good. We will definitely return.
google avatar

Israel G.

Yelp
Great pizza place located downtown. Place had a cool vibe to it. They had a few deals going on when I came. One deal was offered when you like them on FB and they also have a stamp card that earns rewards over time. There wasn't too much seating inside because of covid. Minus one star because they had the garage style doors open but it was pretty warm inside and out. It made eating dinner not very pleasant.
google avatar

John D.

Yelp
Nice place. Welcomed when we entered by the pizza artists behind the counter. Nice music and decorations.
google avatar

LaShawn S.

Yelp
If you want a good pizza and have some nice different options, Bambino's is a good spot to try. The location is very low key but inviting. The staff was nice and they worked quickly on my pie. Next time I'm in town I will stop in and try a different flavor.

Bella W.

Yelp
Me and my husband come here at least once a month. We absolutely love this place, even on busy friday nights, there is always a table to sit at and the wait is never too long. Staff are super nice and welcoming. We usually get two build your own pizzas and every time its equally amazing!!
google avatar

Jeff L.

Yelp
While checking out Colorado Springs, we came across this cool-looking (and GREAT smelling) pizza shop. The food was incredible and the staff was very nice and hospitable. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs so keep this in mind when you order. We had a TON of food!
google avatar

Roy B.

Yelp
Okay, I'm writing this in the context of the format of the Bostro. If you've not been here, perhaps you've been to places similar in format in as much MOD Pizza or Blaze Pizza.... Hands down... I repeat, HANDS DOWN Bambino's knocks their heads off when put to the test... All are of similar walk up, made fresh with your ingredients (as if a good sub shop were doing pizza) and then baked in a screaming hot brick oven... 670 degrees on the deck... wow! My pie was fully on flavorful, delicious and while I intended in taking leftovers to my hotel for later consumption... fail... I ate the whole dang thing.... fantastic. So folks, #GYSOT!!! NO SHIT DAM FINE PIE. Place was clean. Staff were super all the way around Food was, as stated, fantastic Great value
google avatar

Connie T.

Yelp
This place is amazing. Great pizza at a great price. Friendly staff and customer friendly! You can see you pizza getting made from start to finish.
google avatar

Mara S.

Yelp
Wow! This pizza was honestly out-of-this-world amazing! You can either choose some of their creations that they recommend, or you can build your own for a super affordable price. This pace isn't necessarily filled with frills, but oh my goodness is it some good food. You go to the counter to make your order, and you can actually watch them make the pizza to start. Then you pay and take a number, and they will bring it to your table. We tried a few different pizzas - my favorite was the Spicy Pig - and both the caprese salad and the apple pecan. The basil in the caprese had an excellent flavor. They don't have a lot of drink options, but they do carry a few local wines and beers in case you would like a drink with your meal. I also noticed that they do order pick-up; that is dangerous and wonderful to know!
google avatar

Margaret P.

Yelp
Pros: The price is good, the location is good, kind staff, quick service Cons: Greasy, the cheese wasn't staying on the pizza. Our server literally swept off the counter and then proceeded to put basil on our pizza with the same gloves without changing them. Overall score: B-

Yelp
Build your own pizza is always fun, and this place does it extremely well! As an allergy sensitive individual, I was very pleased and all my needs were met. They had a gluten free crust and a vegan cheese option. They even took my pizza off the line to make it special in the back as to not encourage cross contamination. My husband is not allergy sensitive and also thoroughly enjoyed his "regular" pizza. We were so hungry, no photos were taken of the food - sorry

Cindy M.

Yelp
Never been here - let me help, because you will not get any help from the staff here. Do not go in and sit down. You go to the counter behind the seats where there are menus and no sign that says "Order Here". We got a beef pizza with some extras and a beet salad. I do not know how this happens, but the pizza comes out from a hot oven just feet from your seat, but it is not hardly warm. All the ingredients are precooked I think and all they do is heat it up, but not long enough that is for sure. The beef topping is bet you is pre seasoned by some company and they buy it frozen. No way that is fresh and then cooked. Won't be back. They cannot even cut the pizza in even pieces which was a hassle, because we were sharing.
google avatar

Erica C.

Yelp
Friendly and fast. Pizza was delicious and fresh. Would definitely come back. Conveniently located around the corner from Hilton Garden Inn.
google avatar

Edward O.

Yelp
Pretty good pizza. I had the "Hot Chick" it came with a smear of chalula sauce with Gorgonzola cheese chicken and mozzarella cheese and grilled jalapeño. It was ok. Crust had little flavor and cheese was a bit overwhelming. My wife had the gluten free just to try it out. She said it had no flavor nor did the red sauce. She related the crust to 'cardboard'.
google avatar

Mike M.

Yelp
Great spot in downtown. Need to pay to park but otherwise once on the sidewalk you have a short walk with many shops and open patios. The pizza was freshly made in order. Kid friendly. Dog friendly. Many custom salad and pizza options but limited alcohol. If you want a drink maybe have one after at one of the many nearby pubs.
google avatar

Jules K.

Yelp
We were hungry for some pizza after hiking at Garden of the Gods and found Bambino's. To my surprised it was similar to MOD Pizza where you pay one price and build your own individual 11 inch pizza. We ordered 4 BYO pizzas, 1 drink, 1 beer and it came out to just over $50. The pizzas were tasty, we definitely liked the crust on these and it was very filling. Overall a solid place to fulfill your pizza craving. We just thought it was a place to get a large family style pizza. Still good anyways.

Yelp
Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure this is my last visit. I've tried to support local businesses, Takeout Tuesday's, etc. and this restaurant used to be a favorite. But my rule is three strikes - several months ago I placed an order online- pick up get half way home and realize they forgot something- call restaurant- we can credit- oh wait they are right here- flipped a U and went back. Second- place order, pick up - all's well everything is there. However, the meatballs are so overcooked I couldn't even get a chefs knife through them. Send email to owner - I'm assuming it was restaurants email- letting them know about previous visit and now this- no reply. Coming back from Zoo Lights- daughter begs for Bambino's - place order - they bring to car and I specifically ask - is everything there, I've had issues- oh yes ma'am all here I checked! You guessed it- get home NO meatballs! Call restaurant- oh man, they're right here- do you still want? Uh no- I'm 20 minutes away- credit my card- oh I can't do that, we write you in the credit book and next time you come in we will look it up and give one to you- First off- there's a book? That's an issue in itself- but I'm out the $$ as I'm not going back! Plus what I did get- the caprese salad- tomatoes were sliced paper thin, were mealy and the mozzarella was so hard and dry it was inedible, I'm eating a bowl of cereal!
