Celebrate Rosh Hashanah With the Help of London Restaurants This Year | Eater London
"A kosher-style deli whose regular menu already covers many of the typical Ashkenazi high-holiday platter items (aside from baked goods and kugels), so no separate Rosh Hashanah offering is run; customers are advised to call early to place orders—especially for fish—so the team can source fresh product from the fishmongers. Two phone numbers are provided for ordering and the Sunday pick-up cutoff is 2 p.m." - Adrienne Katz Kennedy
London’s Best-Value Restaurants Reopening for Cheap, Not ‘Cheap Eats’ | Eater London
"Open for dine-in and takeaway, this deli-style spot is serving salt beef alongside schnitzel and latkes, offering straightforward comfort food as it welcomes customers back into its dining area." - James Hansen
Where to Eat London’s Best Dumplings | Eater London
"Kreplach, meaning little krap (a piece of pastry), and kneidlach (aka matzoh balls) are yet other linguistically diminutive names (see the -ling in dumpling, the xiao in xiao long bao) for a wrapped parcel, proving that dumplings are the ultimate ‘small thing’ across all cultures. They show that the heart of the cuisine is always in its most miniature of items. In London both of these specifically Ashkenazi Jewish comfort dumplings can be found at B&K Salt Beef Bar in Edgware, swimming around in a healing chicken lokshen soup." - Jonathan Nunn
The salt beef and tongue was delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive. We had a lovely chat with the owner too.

Best salt beef I’ve eaten in London. My favourite was their beef (ox) tongue. Service was excellent and very friendly. Having ordered a large meal I also decided to order a salt beef and beef tongue sandwich to takeaway as it was that good😊

Love this place! I used to go their Edgware branch decades ago. Happy to see it in Hatchend. Even though it's a beef restaurant and I've turned vegetarian, it's still a favourite. Their latkes and salads are so good! Very friendly, family owned and a good vibe overall.

Highly recommend this popular restaurant, which serves delicious salt beef sandwiches, which are stacked high.
There are also plenty of other options on the menu, including veal schnitzel, viennas, chicken goujons, eggs etc.
Staff are friendly and welcoming and want to make you return for another visit

Wow! The best salt beef I’ve ever tasted in my life. The Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Service is so quick and efficient.
We ordered 1 Reuben salt beef sandwich on white bloomer & a salt beef in a bagel. They were so mouth watering and astonishing delicious! The waitress also kindly gave us a fish ball to try, it was very very tasty.
Highly recommend this place! I’ll definitely be going back

Their Salt Beef sandwiches are the best, they brine the beef in their place which makes it soft and tender. This place also sells beef by weight for home usage. Brining helps lock in flavour and juices from the meat, as well as imparting fantastic flavours. Beef lovers should try this.

Yelp
What can I say that has not been already said about this place! Anyway I'll try. To say that I love salt beef would be an UNDERSTATEMENT!!! I use to go to the famous Brick Lane deli to sample this delicacy but since I moved to Ruislip it has been more difficult for me to get there. I have also been to Selfridges and although the meat is very good it is quite pricey! Then I saw the light and for this I have to thank my girlfriend who accidentally spotted B&K in Hatch End and as they say, the rest is history. I have been coming here for the last few months every single Sunday except if I am away somewhere. My girlfriend is starting to regret telling me about this place in a sense that for the last few months we have never been to a pub for a Sunday Roast. I can say without a doubt that I am an addicted. I have got some friends from Venice over for Easter and I promised them to pop into B&K before they go back. There are 2 main categories of people going into food business. One is big corporate companies usually creating restaurant chain where they just want to make money and haven't got a clue about food and at the other end, family run restaurants where of course they need to make money but they also love food, they have a passion for it. I don't need to tell you where I stand! Is it my imagination or every time I go the portions get bigger and bigger? I usually find that a lot of chains and chic restaurants put the emphasis mainly in the decor and are usually poor on food in terms of Quality/Quantity/Price while many family run restaurants are the exact opposite!!!! It is the same when it comes to coffee (Starbucks) Great sofas bad coffee , but that is a different story! P.S. Can I give 11 in the rating ?

Yelp
This is a family run business, that has another branch in Edgware. It looks more like a posh cafe than a restaurant. Lunch here will set you back a bit more than the average cafe, but the food is good quality and the service is friendly. Apart from Salt beef, they serve other Jewish style foods such as potato latka etc.
