The bowls were paper / plastic products... seems like take-a-way option. Kinda stingy on the sauce packs... asked for a few more and just given one of each, I like to make a dipping sauce for my meat. However the Pho was a rich umptuous beef flavor ... strangely the portion was just right for me... however I think this was more a lunch size as apposed to dinner serving size. They were strange about buying/ adding extra meat... They made me order the more expensive combination and add rare beef to it... not a big deal it made the bowl $3 bucks more. They just wouldn't sell extra Brisket as 'extra' protein.

Quite a nice and quaint little place to get a quick meal and not too bad bowl of pho. The portion is reasonable for the price for New York City standard, with fresh vegetables etc. The broth is not overly salted which is also a plus point.

Delicious! I’ve dined in and ordered delivery and had great experiences every time. I always get the grilled pork bahn mi. Bread is perfect, veggies are fresh, and pork is nicely grilled and sweet. Good portion for the price.

Service was quick and fast, the employees were extremely kind and friendly, and the food was beyond delicious! The owner was extremely kind and recognized me when I returned for a second time (because it was just so good)! I really enjoyed my treatment at Banhmigos and will definitely be returning!!

The spicy grilled pork tacos are delicious! I tried to only eat one but could only stop long enough for a picture. I got mine without cucumber so they might have given me a little extra carrot slaw on top. The spice was perfect, a slight fire of sriracha, the meat tender and juicy. And the mint garnish gave the perfect flavor balance. I called from outside and my order was prepared fresh & hot in minutes. Yum.

I normally come here specifically for the chicken pho. It is really good. However this time I got a shrimp banh mi, and I would not recommend it, the shrimp looked and tasted like a watered down version of a shrimp cocktail, it was not seasoned and was not very tasty also the portion size was pretty small and it cost $15 if you’re going to come here I definitely recommend the fair but save your money and time if you’re going for that shrimp banh mi.

Ordered the tofu bahn mi for $13. Tofu wasn't cooked, sandwich was small and bland---maybe it achieved flavor and taste in a world where my palate was calibrated with sandpaper and corn husks.

Cute and cozy spot with pleasant service. Unfortunately the food isn’t the best. I got the sliced beef pho which tasted just fine but not great. There wasn’t much depth to its flavor, which had to be compensated for a hefty amount of hoisin and sriracha sauce. If you are looking for authentic Vietnamese food, this is not the spot. Otherwise it’s great for a quick bite.

The grilled chicken box turned out to be a great post workout meal. With carbs, protein, and fresh fruit to balance the flavors, what more can a girl ask for? I would say everything is fairly priced and I am eager to come back. The restaurant is intimate but spacious enough to grab a table and catch up with friends or get some work done.

Delicious, fresh and huge summer rolls! I got the shredded chicken and tofu. Service was fast and efficient. And the store was clean and organized. Just came in for a quick snack and was pleasantly surprised!

Normally I enjoy the pho and the banhmi, but in one of today's bites into the short rib sandwich, there was something hard that I bit into! See small object in the foreground of the photo. It felt as hard as a nail, like a chicken foot nail but I don't think that's what it was. Kind of put me off the rest of my lunch... : ( This was the Bahnmigos on Court, to be more specific.

Was in the neighborhood waiting for someone and decided to give Banhmigos a second try while I waited. The first time I tried their food was shortly after they newly opened. I ordered a Beef Short Rib Pho, and I found the flavors to be plain and uninspired. The portion was also small compared to what you'd normally get from traditional Vietnamese restaurants. After this first experience, I had written them off as being a non-repeat. Fast forward to January 2023, and I have an hour to kill right in front of this restaurant. There were plenty of other restaurants I could have gone to, but I decided to give Banhmigos another try and actually order a banh mi, which is what they're named for. This time, I liked what I ordered! I decided to try their Traditional banh mi, which had Vietnamese ham, liver paté, roast ground pork, and pickled fixings of daikon radish and carrots, stuffed into a French baguette. While it tasted slightly different from the other banh mis I've had, it still had great, authentic flavor, and the crusty baguette was very light and airy. The size of the sandwich was smaller than others I've had, but it was enough to be filling. I bought a Vietnamese ice coffee to wash it all down and that was really good as well. Rich, dark coffee, lightly sweetened with condensed milk. It was creamy and delicious. The entire meal was surprisingly satisfying compared to my first experience. The only other criticism I have is the cost of the food. The sandwich was $4 more than what other Vietnamese restaurants charge, but I rationalized this was due to the real estate of the area. Overall, I would return for the Traditional banh mi and Vietnamese ice coffee, if I have a craving for them and can't access other Vietnamese restaurants.

Cute joint for Vietnamese staples like pho, banh mi, and summer rolls. The "migos" part of their name comes from their option to put your meat of choice in a traditional banh mi baguette or 2 flour tortillas. I ordered the short rib banh mi and shrimp summer roll, which were cranked out in about 5 minutes. They require masks to enter and order, so keep that in mind. The banh mi bread deserves an A+; it was crisp on the outside and warm and fluffy inside. The short rib meat was delicious too. My only complaint is that it lacks jalapeño and doesn't have enough cucumber. The summer rolls were delicious and the peanut sauce was delightfully salty, savory, and sweet. Not bad!

So a recent stop at Bahnmigos had some unexpected twists. I ordered a Thai tea, which is my favorite, but really delicious here. I also ordered a extra spicy shrimp banh mi to go and happily went home anticipating the first bite. Distracted and reading while taking the first bite, I didn't notice until the second bite that my sandwich had shredded chicken, not shrimp. I contacted the store and let them know. They were aware because the person that had my sandwich had come back to the store. They offered me another sandwich on them, but I had to pick it up before closing. I agreed and planned to go back in the evening. BTW, the chicken was really delicious. My daughter and I ventured out to go get my sandwich (I gave her the bigger half lol) and two more teas. I wish I had knew what I know now... The chicken is actually the tastier filling and I will skip the shrimp in the future. Overall, everything was fresh, the veggies were fresh and crunchy, and the bread was perfect. The Thai tea is awesome and so was the customer service. This was a "everything happens for a reason" experience with a good outcome and extra tea.

What Bangmigo lacks in flashy decor, it more than makes up for in affordability. The Traditional Banh Mi was a satisfying with an array of mouthwatering ingredients--succulent slices of pork, crisp cucumber, and fresh cilantro--all nestled between perfectly toasted bread, it was a flavor explosion. They got the pickled carrots perfect--they added just the right amount of tang to every bite, elevating the sandwich to new heights. In the end, Bangmigo may not win any awards for interior design, but when it comes to delivering delicious banh mi at an affordable price, they're in a league of their own.

So I frequent this place pretty often. I decided to get a regular sandwich with pate and cold cut meat as well as a Vietnamese iced coffee. The interiors of the sandwich is pretty standard - there's nothing you can really complain about, maybe more pickled vegetables other than carrots would be nice. What I really like about this place is the bread. Usually Banh Mi bread is pretty hard and hard to chew through since it kind of scratches the roof of your mouth however, this place's bread is supersoft which I really enjoy. Vietnamese iced coffee is pretty strong and nicely sweet. I would definitely recommend that if you want a caffeine does or if it's a really hot day.

I tried the Short rib banh mi sandwich. The flavors were there for sure. Really delicious. I wish that the toppings were stacked on TOP or mixed together rather than side by side. When you take a bite it's hard to get everything in your mouth at once. Might get a mouthful of meat or a mouthful of pickle. For the high price, I need more short rib on the sandwich. For real. New York prices are insane. $14 for a take out sandwich. Ouch. Otherwise I'd give it 4 stars but a point has to go for that price.

Very good classic Banh mi sandwich! The bread was just crispy enough and the right ratio to the toppings inside. The place was small and seemed more of a to go place. Overall, would definitely come here again for lunch!

I stopped here because I was feeling hungry and wanted a snack. Generally, my go-to would be Banh Mi but since I had my wisdom teeth taken out recently, I wanted something softer so I got the traditional taco which is a soft taco with Vietnamese ham, liver pâté, ground pork, and pickled vegetables. It was filled to the brim and very flavorful. Loved every bite! Wasn't exactly soft enough for my teeth yet, but it was manageable and delicious, so I finished one taco and shared the rest with my sister. It was a little pricier than I would have liked, but maybe it's because I'm used to prices in Chinatown. Overall though, it was worth it. Next time I come, I might try their veggie chicken (chicken flavor infused tofu) banh mi/taco. I've never heard of this before and as someone who is trying to be more vegetarian, this sounds really cool and delicious!

Super good food here. Tried the short ribs in rice platter. Meat was nice and tender and flavorful. Add the Vietnamese sauce in the container for another burst of flavor. The platter also comes with half a boiled egg and some side salad. You can choose your choice of meat to be in a bahn mi sandwich, rice platter, pho soup or over a vermicelli salad. There is also a number of vegetarian options. And bubble teas. A small place with a few small tables. Service here is great. Attentive and helpful. Looking forward to coming back here for more food, next time I'm in the area. There is also 3 other locations: Two others in Brooklyn: Park Slope and Crown Heights. Also one in Staten Island.

Wish I had taken some photos of the Bahn Mi, but this place has got to be one of my favorite Bahn Mi sandwich place thus far! It has the most soft and chewiest baguette, and a high amount of chicken and pickled veggies! I got the spicy chicken Bahn Mi, which had the perfect amount of kick in every bite! It's a very simple shop, but the sandwich is about 10 in, and pretty filling! Will definitely go again!

Wow incredible. This place blew away my expectations. Walking through the door, I was expecting mediocre banh mi and pho. We got the beef pho and traditional banh mi. The traditional had a ground pork (?), picked carrot and radish, cucumber, and cilantro. The bread was perfectly crispy but not too abrasive that it rips the roof of your mouth. The pho was also delicious. The prices here are insaaaane for what you get. Highly recommend!

Hole in the wall with seating for 6 but a treasure on Court Street. I stopped by for lunch and had a rice bowl . Very authentic and a good selection.

Ever since I saw this street food show on Netflix, I was craving bahn mi sandwiches. The shredded dark meat chicken sandwich at this place is so yummy. I especially like that they have different spice levels to choose from and they are actually different. I've eaten the mild and medium spice level sandwiches and like both. I also like their Thai iced tea. I've gotten sandwiches from this place at least 3-4 times already... and plan to go back when my cravings return. Thanks for making yummy sandwiches that are worth the price.

Delivery only post! During COVID, this has been my go to spot for a full proof delicious lunch or dinner. The grilled pork banh mi is my absolute favorite. Ive also has the tofu pho which is delicious. I don't know what they do to the tofu to make it so tasty, it always makes me wanting more. To top it off, if you spend $20 (easy to do) they give you free shrimp rolls which are good too.

I'm on a Banh mi kick lately. This is my second Banh mi order after kick starting it with a local favorite on Montague. The thing I like about this place is their vegetarian chicken. I don't know what the soy this is made out of but the texture works well. As far as Banh mi it was decent. Could have been spicier but I'm a big fan of kick in the face spice. Their bubble tea is also not too sweet or overbearing. The tapioca is chewy but actually retains some of that syrupy flavor without being to cloyingly sweet. I also had a summer roll which really hits the spot. This one happened to be stuffed with shrimp. Happy for the extra effort for my hard earned dollar.

In a city filled with mediocre pho/viet spots, Bahnmigos takes the crown for the worst Pho I've ever had in my life. Not only did the broth and meat lack any semblance of flavor, whoever prepared my pho thought it was a brilliant idea to cut the noodles so many times that it was impossible to use chopsticks to grab any noodles.. who wants to eat 1 inch strands of noodles? Terrible.

This is the grilled pork banh mi that I always wanted in the neighborhood. The bread is perfectly crusty but soft on the interior, the pork so flavorful and sliced thinly enough to eliminate any textural issues that might slow down a less adventurous eater. The pickled vegetables need to be distributed better across the sandwich (personal preference), but the ratios are right for the compact sandwich. It isn't huge, but it's so well-balanced, it's perfect for lunch, and medium spicy hits my palate just right. I only wish they opened a little bit earlier so I could roll by and grab one and devour it immediately after throwing my devil child into a dark room for the small amount of time I have to myself each day. #parenthood

I've been to Banhmigos before, but this was my first time at the Court Street location. The menu is pretty much the same at all of them, and I usually stick to their sandwiches. I got the traditional (with Vietnamese ham, liver pate, and roasted ground pork) and the grilled chicken this time, and both were great. Vegetables were fresh, meats nicely seasoned, overall tasty sandwiches. I usually prefer a little more filling so that it reaches the end of the bread, but that's a minor complaint since I like the rolls they use. Prices were also reasonable, especially for the area they're in. Would return for more banh mi!

I haven't been to Vietnam, but their traditional banh mi is probably the best that I've had ever. After consuming my third one in the month I think I figured out why. The bread: light, crispy and I think they hollow it out which creates a crunchy balanced bite without destroying your gums The meat/veggies: the perfect amount, seasoned to perfection and balanced with the traditional carrots, cucumber, etc. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed!

So far, one of the better banh mi's in New York City. It still cannot compare to the banh mi in California. After eating at a bunch of places, it has to do with their bread. In NYC, a lot of the banh mi places use this softer roll which does not go well with the supposed crunch. Banhmigos counteracts this by toasting the bread longer which makes it crunchier. I got the Veggie Chicken which was tasty and better than some other banh mi places here. The only criticism is that the spiciness comes from sriracha and not from actually jalapenos. The sauce was a bit non existent as I am used to mayo or something being offered in the sandwich. Overall, not bad, but a pricey version of Ba Xuyen with more options.

I only ordered the traditional banh mi here but I thought it was great, so therefore this I deem this place solid! Sandwiches are $10 but they also sell pho, spring rolls, and tacos (which I could just not bring myself to do). Oh yeah, this is definitely a grab and go kind of place. If you're looking to sit down I'd recommend Hanco's on Smith, but if you're looking for takeout of delivery this place has you covered.

My favorite spot in Brooklyn Heights for quick and affordable food (in the context of a very expensive neighborhood)! I always get the vegetarian chicken bánh mì and ask for it spicy, and the baguette is always fresh and soft with the right amount of crunch/toastiness. Service is also always extremely fast, I don't think I've ever waited more than ten minutes, and all the employees I've interacted with have been friendly and welcoming. I haven't tried any of their drinks, but I know when one of my friends was visiting she liked their boba so much she went back twice in one day, and she's from Southern California so her standards for boba are high. Brooklyn Heights is not a neighborhood that's known for its food, but this place is a winner and a great small business to support.

Love this spot for pho and banh mi!!! Our go to takeout items are the beef short rib pho and the short rib banh mi. The meat is just so tender. Everything comes well packaged and the portions are solid!

Do not get pho here. We were looking for something quick after the Transit Museum and found this place on the corner. The food is bland, the broth is missing any flavor and is missing out on the spice. Even with sauce it still just tasted like water. Bummed out :( not worth $15 for this bowl.

Banhmigos is one of my favorite banh mi's in all of NYC, and definitely my favorite one with multiple locations. I think I've been to all of them at this point, and you can always count on them for a great meal. This time, I ordered delivery from the Court Street location (which is their newest). Got a regular banh mi (great), as well as beef short rib pho (also great), and a free order of the shrimp summer rolls (Uber Eats deal). Of course, I didn't eat all this at once. Split it up over two meals, and even then, it was a lot. Everything's as good as I remember, and they'll definitely be getting my business again!

I tried: mushroom Banhmi: the veggies tasted fresh and the mushrooms were flavorful. The spice level was pretty good but the banh mi was a bit small. The bread was soft and the spicy Mayo had a great kick. I also tried their Vietnamese iced coffee which was refreshing and delicious! Delivery was quick and their prices are great for a cheap meal!

Small, cute place- very clean and good prices. The service was quick and friendly. I got a tofu banh mi, spicy, to go. It was delicious. I've had issues in NYC of ordering spicy food and them not making it that spicy- this was loaded with fresh jalapeños. The tofu was silky and tender as the menu promises, it had tons of crunchy carrots. The veggies and greens on the sandwich tasted very fresh and the baguette was beautifully crispy. There's like 4 locations and I can see why & hope they expand more!

I went to meet my partner for lunch, and let me tell y'all!!! The Grilled Pork Pho soup was SLAMMING Their service was friendly and quick with ordering to keep the line moving smoothly. The ambiance felt welcoming and I don't mind sitting down to eat, even though it's small.

Came for a quick sandwich during lunch hours and was pleasantly surprised by how quickly it came out and how fresh it was. Like any good Bahn mi, the bread was lovely and crunchy on the outside soft on the inside. The meat was hot and well seasoned and had the correct amount of funk you want from the Bahn mi, not overpowering but in the background letting you know its there. The fat was cut by wonderfully pickled Daikin and carrots and balanced by the fresh cilantro and cucumber. Why only 4 stars? They have an entire menu I have to try! From pho to other sandwiches to bento boxes, I'm going to look forward to my lunch adventure!

Delish and quick service! Doing great with social distancing measures. Order the grilled chicken bahn mi, smoked duck Vietnamese spring roll and a passion fruit bubble tea. All were super solid, will def go back to try the short rib bahn mi as that is supposedly even better!

Bahnmigos in downtown Brooklyn is great if you want quick, delicious Vietnamese takeout! I recommend getting the Vietnamese coffee and beef pho. Even though, they were out of short ribs the pieces of beef were still tender. The bean sprouts and Herbs accompanied with the pho were still super fresh. The broth was light and clear. This place definitely is for takeout since there's no seating. You order and pay inside and wait outside until your number is called or one of the staff members comes and finds you. I do not recommend the summer roll. It's just a lot of rice noodles stuffed inside and I'm not a fan of the peanut sauce which was the only deliver of flavor in this dish.

The traditional sandwich was excellent, with an ideal meat ratio - i.e. I didn't know if I'd be into the liver pate but there roasted ground pork had a more prominent presence. I gambled on "medium" spice level and this was just superb - it was medium by old-school outer borough standards, not by gentrified standards. And the bread isn't the most important thing for banh mi but this is was above average. The Thai iced tea was perfect for a 90-ish day after a walk. I'm curious about the rest of the menu, hope to try smoked duck spring rolls next time. .

Banhmigos is a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. This fast casual Vietnamese spot made its debut on Court St. late 2019 just prior to the apocalypse of 2020. We frequent this place about once a month for a convenient and delicious meal (pick-up). We're partial to their banhmi sandwich (that bread is fantastic!) and the vermicelli salad with grilled pork or beef short rib (choice of protein). The flavors are all incredibly well-balanced. The pho here is pretty good - perfect for wintertime, although admittedly the noodles texture isn't my favorite. I also recommend an order of the summer rolls to complete your meal. What distinguishes Banhmigos from the competition is the service. The owner is so friendly! This place was recently vandalized, which breaks my heart (not surprising given the direction NYC is heading in *eye roll*). So please come out and show your support for this amazing local business!!!

I Love Bahnmigos mainly for their beef short rib sandwiches. They can be some of the best meals WHEN it's made properly. The locations in Brooklyn seem to be very inept with this though particularly this one. The beef was ridiculously inedible for the most part being extremely chewy and cartilaginous. The rest of the sandwich was solid but the saying isn't "potatoes and meat" for a reason . So far, the best Bahnmigos has been for beef short rib has been their Staten Island location. I'll have to make the trek out there when I have the craving .

The food here is good! I love the grilled pork bahnmi and pho as well. The place is small with only 2-3 little tables so definintely get to go if possible. The prices are ok - much higher than what you can just a few minutes away in Chinatown but still reasonable. ~10$ for bahnmi and ~13-14 for pho.

Food was okay. I ordeeed the shower rib sandwich and didn't really like it too much. I probably wouldn't go there again and they are right by my house. The service was quick and the store was clean so I will only remove 1 star!

Got the beef pho here, which came with all the standard toppings (mint, bean sprouts and lemon). The flavor is good and overall a solid but standard bowl of pho. The inside of the place is very crammed, but the service is relatively quick.

GRAND OPENING DEAL! Bubble tea buy one get one. Authentic vietnamese food. The staff are nice and friendly. Service is fast. Vermicelli Salad with grilled pork is $10 without tax. Prices are reasonable and average for a vermicelli salad. Lettuce was fresh and crispy. Grilled pork was flavorful and well seasoned. Limited Seating inside, 3 tables. No restroom. There is wifi!

Fast food Vietnamese. I had the beef pho and the grilled pork banh mi; not impressed. The pho was greasy, the noodles were a mess, the brisket slices were just fat. Didn't care for the banh mi either.

We order pork banhmi, duck summer roll, and beef taco the other day with uberEat. All of the. Are incredible, pork is flavorful and tender with crisp bread, the quality of the fermented veggie in the banhmi are not overwhelmingly sour but refreshing. The summer roll itself is okay, but the sauce made it stand out. I had my speculation about the taco because this is a Vietnamese restaurant. It turned out great. It does feel Vietnamese. It is like a banhmi hut with taco replacing the bread. I havent had proper Vietnamese for a long time. So glad I found this one nearby home. We will be regulars!

Delicious banh mi sandwiches on court street - very convenient if you're running errands or work in the area. You can do pick up or delivery. The way they cut and cook/season the meat is authentic but it seems more tailored to the American palate (less fatty etc) so this is a good option for the slightly less adventurous eater. They also have a great selection of bubble tea I'm excited to try. Eat more banh mi in 2021 !

They did not provide a straw with my bubble tea. They said it was because I checked no utensils when ordering. Got the rest of my food and was good.
