"The restaurant is named after the legendary fishing grounds of the North Atlantic, an important aspect of the town’s fishing tradition. Make sure you try the pintxos here, including Jaizkibel, Hondarribia and Huevo Mollete." - Michelin Inspector

It was packed when we arrived at 9pm but the line went quick and we were seated and waited on promptly. The scallops were the winner of the night with tiny crunchy roe. They serve crusted boneless ribs in a tiny grill, tasty and crunchy - we tried the favorites…the Brioche filled with crab topped with passion fruit pearls - foie gras and the egg molette on potato straws - all yummy. The calamari was also a hit.

Excellent Pintxos in the heart of Hondarrabia. Each dish is an explosion of flavors Quick organised service. Staff speaks French. We waited a bit to be seated. Price is a bit high because each Pintxo is just one piece. But it’s a good experience to taste the basque cuisine

We were drinking beer at the restaurant next door and found that there was a long queue of people at this restaurant, so we decided to try it. Although we waited for 15 minutes, the dishes did not disappoint us. The dishes here are innovative, so friends who have already eaten local traditional dishes may want to give it a try.

The best tapas I ate in my life!!!!! Such a nice service and a great atmosphere. The croquetas are insane of good and I would always come back!

Amazing! Some of the best food we've eaten in our travels! Excellent service and there is a reason there's a line and Michelin awards on the door.

Great food and joyful ambience. It is a Michelin, the food is a fusion of different flavors within Spanish tapas, it is a great idea. We had to queue for 20 mins as the weather was nice so it was a bit busy. We had a great time with friends.

when you get here, you are immediately met by a wall of michelin plaques which sets the tone for some good food. we ordered a range of the recommended pinxtos - the croquetas, fried fish toast, crab brioche, and the mushroom with buratta - all of which were super delicious and definitely an elevated take on pintxos compared to what we had elsewhere. Also ordered this chocolate cake dessert as we had seen it go past a few times and it was an incredible end to the meal

Great place! Keep in mind you will probably have to wait in line (10-20min) to get in. Go straight for the Pintxos, all of them are excellent.
