First thing I noticed is they a right next to popina, and their prices are high, even in this economy. The cocktails are also priced very high also.
FYI: In thy backyard the purple hue lighting messing up pictures really badly at night.
Cutlery is nice. The utensils are black and well balanced.
Water taste weird.

Portions a decent for the 2 appetizers we tried. The temperature of the dishes was not hot enough- they left it too long before bringing it to the table.
The dish flavoring I think doesn't work well for the crab doughnut. It has jalapeño slices or similar, and the flavoring is some kind of yuzu or citrus flavor. The doughnut itself needs help because it's not bad, but it's not good enough to be over $20. I think maybe a dry seasoning and a brioche doughnut would have been better. The sauce on the crab doesn't do it any favors. Overall thy crab was cooked well enough, but wasn't stellar.
The crispy pork head was overall pretty good and an interesting use of ingredients and flavors. I think it needs a little something, but I don't know what.
Honestly my overall take away from this place is the food doesn't match the menu description, the quality based on thy process and it doesn't hit high enough to warrant the price point.
Service was good and it kitchen looked clean, but again it's only a few days in.
I've watched them deconstruct the old place and build out the restaurant. I've seen an thy friends and family visit, but the items you get abs the prices still leave a bad taste in my mouth. I would love for a new place to open up, but with popina, unstable, gus, house of pizza and calzone, cafe spaghetti, swoony, abs lucali within 5-12m walk this doesn't get my recommendation.
