Recently went and the pepperoni pizza is really good. As well as the pesto and the margherita. Place is very clean and the service is great. Very friendly waitstaff. The pepperoni pizza is the best. The seafood pizza (lobster and shrimp) is really good. Great service. I will be back.

The place is not bad as it's located in the up and coming Mott Haven neighborhood of the Bronx. It's a nice quick Italian style eatery that serves wood fired pizza, calzones and pasta. They also have a small selection of main dishes for those looking for a little more. My favorite on the menu so far has been the Salerno Calzones I would advise you to ask them not to go cheap on the prosciutto as you will find it to be the defining factor. For dessert they have a nicely reinvented delivery of the Tiramisu in a Mason jar with whipped cream and chocolate syrup. All in all its great as the food selection in the neighborhood was limited but in a short amount of time they have already raised there prices. Still within reason but I would like to see an offering to attract a turn visit. The staff is extremely nice and accommodating. One server seems to be very shy as it was his first time serving customers but to his defense he was the only one serving. But if your in the area check it out there is a nice feel about the place.

The service was great!! It's funny how you miss good service until you actually get a fun, informative and friendly person waiting on you... Oh and the food was good too!! My Shrimp fra Diavlo was super spicy and pasta was cooked perfectly!

Great pizza! Very thin and crispy. The service was awesome. Clean and comfortable tables . The only thing I did not like was that the music was a little loud and not so appropriate for my kids( I wouldn't mind the music if I was going without them). They also have outside sitting (benches)

Do you like a classic Italian pasta and pizza this is your spot. Pizza made in brick oven with original dough. I’ve had the pasta Penne alla Vodka & Carbonara pasta with bacon. Both satisfying! The sauce for each pasta was truly amazing and out of this world. The peas in the Penne alla Vodka really set it off. So I highly recommend the pesto pizza. This is great and the food is phenomenal.

Monte’s is one of my favorite places to eat in The Bronx. I’ve been here multiple times because the food and service is great. I ALWAYS get the focaccia bread with ricotta cheese & honey as well as the mozerella wedges 😋 The pizzas are delicious and their pesto pasta is to die for! I would also like to note that this is the only place where I look forward to getting chicken with the pasta because it’s always fresh and tasty! I definitely recommend 🙂

If your looking for real "NEW YORK" pizza this is not the place to go, but if your looking for good artisan pizza made uptown in the Bronx; La Grata is where you want to start. La Grata is a very low key pizza restaurant in a up and coming area of the BX. The staff is friendly, the ambiance is perfect and the music is the perfect mix of Hip-hop. It was easy to get a seat for my large group, but yet I don't think that will be an easy task when this place blows up.

My boyfriend and I came here on a whim and fell in love. The waiter Liz was super sweet, informative & especially attentive as we were the only ones outside because of our dog. Firstly you ABSOLUTELY MUST get the Focaccia Basket as an appetizer. I mean, it is to die for. Secondly, the drinks are strong! Which is great & the food was just amazingggg all around. I got the Honey BBQ wings with the Margarita Pizza & my boyfriend had the salmon & mashed potatoes. Portions & seasoning were delicious. Honestly I couldn’t have had a better experience, everything was great. Food, atmosphere & service. We 10/10 recommend. Will definitely be back. Lastly, Edward the manager was very kind. The staff even brought water out for my dog. I love it here. It’s a must.
