"Pinotxo Bar is one of a few eateries in the always-busy boquería, and depending on who you speak to, it's considered to be one of, if not the, best tapas spots in the city. The place is run by local celebrity Juanito Bayen, a charismatic guy who's never seen without a service-like vest and bowtie. There's no formal menu, so you'll order via a back-and-forth with Juanito to arrive on a few dishes—it can be a little confusing, but trust us, whatever arrives is guaranteed to be delicious. Wash it all down with fresh cava, which is always on ice and within arm's reach. Unfortunately, word's out about this place—it's best to arrive early and expect a wait if you want a seat at the small, 14-seat bar."
"Barcelona's best breakfast is found right here, by the entrance to the legendary Boqueria market, where Juanito Bayen, sporting his signature bow tie, dispenses tomato-rubbed toast and pristine grilled rock lobster and salt cod croquettes to vendors and hungry shoppers." - Food & Wine Editors
In the market, I liked it a decent amount, just had better stuff at other places -- the guy who runs it, Juan, is so sweet though. Worth checking out the market and if you're hungry, having a bite.

This was our favorite tapas experience during the month we stayed in Barcelona.
Their food is exquisite but the service is even better - they are the nicest people..!
Menus were available in Spanish or English.
Everything we tried was delicious but our favorites were the beef cheek, the chickpeas, the cod, and the eggplant.. and their desserts are also fantastic.
Highly recommended and thank you again!

The food was pretty good. The cheeks were too greasy for my taste so I just got a fee bites. The octopus was really good. Very friendly staff! Very pleasant in the summer because the market is closed and has A/C.

Had a great experience with the tapas here. We ordered some croquetes, gambes, and other tapas. Did not disappoint. Fresh ingredients, very tasty.

It was full when i got there for lunch. Clients were mostly locals. Waited around 10mins. Fried artichoke was interesting..Capi pota was delicious. The chickpeas thing looked simple yet very flavorful.
Friendly service from the chef/waiter with few earrings and tattoo. Speaks english too. Cheap prices. slices of bread (baguette) @ .70 cents though.
Loved everything 👌

This is our first meal in Barcelona. It was a good start of our journey. Every dish we had was fresh and delicious. One of staff speak English well, he is excellent at the recommendation. After we tried some dishes, we asked what else we can order, he surprised us with one meat and one seafood dish. We end up having 11 dishes for three of us, total costs is 134 euro. We enjoyed this meal very much!

Love love love Pinotxo…. They changed location but it is well worth the walk to a more local neighborhood. My all time favorite are the clams, razor clams, and sausage. Everything was so wonderful and if you come across their specialty brand of olive oil lug it back home for sure.

Delicious breakfast postres and lunch pintxos and tapas with great coffee and a solid bar. Excellent cuisine, attentive service and a lovely atmosphere within the historical Mercat de Sant Antoni both of which seem to have been here since forever.
