Bar Trigona

Bar Trigona is located on the sixth floor of the Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur, in the building adjacent to the iconic Petronas Twin Towers. You enter through the dining area before reaching a large, imposing door that opens into a beautifully designed bar with a refined, intimate atmosphere. Inside, the interior features low lighting and floor-to-ceiling glass windows, offering impressive views of the eastern side of one of the Twin Towers. The best seats in the house are the two-seater tables positioned directly by the windows at the end of the bar, perfect for taking in the view. There is also a larger seating area suitable for groups, along with a central booth-style table for four that offers views both of the elegant bar and the exterior skyline. Cocktails are on the pricier side, starting from around RM60, but this is very much in line with the setting and overall experience. We tried two drinks: • Pomelo – a refreshing long drink where pomelo is the dominant flavour, interesting and well-balanced. • HP Lunara – a fruit-forward cocktail, typically presented with a raspberry-filled sphere, visually striking and enjoyable. Small snacks were also provided, adding a thoughtful and attentive touch to the service. Overall, Bar Trigona delivers a very pleasant experience. While the drinks are slightly expensive, the beautiful setting, attentive service, and quality cocktails make it worthwhile. It’s no surprise that Bar Trigona features on the Asia’s 50 Best Bars list l.

Tucked inside Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur, Trigona Bar has been making waves after being listed 39th among Asia's Top 50 Bars, so we decided to check it out during our stay in KL. The ambience immediately stands out - lively, stylish and very inviting without feeling pretentious. The bar counter itself is a real showpiece, almost like a crystal cave, with striking lighting that resembles floating yo-yos. It's visually stunning and sets the mood perfectly for an evening drink. We ordered a few of their best sellers - the Bumblebee, Penicillin, and Campfire — and all three were very satisfying. Well-balanced, thoughtfully crafted, and clearly executed by a team that knows their cocktails. Each drink had its own character, yet none felt gimmicky. Overall, Trigona Bar delivers both on atmosphere and drinks, making it an excellent spot for a relaxed yet refined night out. Definitely somewhere we'd return to the next time we're in Kuala Lumpur.

The reviews I read were unfortunately true. My reservation was casually turned down and my table given away — if I hadn’t insisted, I would’ve been sent off. Very disorganised front of house experience. I also witnessed a senior staff member openly scolding junior staff in front of guests, which was uncomfortable and unprofessional. It’s disappointing because this place deserves more than its 4.4 rating — your sustainability efforts and support for Malaysian cultivation and foraging are commendable, but they’re completely overshadowed by poor reservation handling. I regret not catching the name of the staff member involved. The saving grace was your bartender Mr Teo — passionate, engaging, and excellent with cocktails. He truly lifted the experience. Management should urgently review front desk staffing and service standards.

Overall the cocktails are on the light side - you will just taste a hint of the spirits, but you definitely will feel it afterwards. I had a Campfire and a Trigona Penicillin, both very well balanced. The local Trigona Honey they specialised in is quite unique and flavourful. They even give me a small spoon to taste :) Great view too.

I have been to Bar Trigona several times before, sometimes with friends but often alone. For me, it was always a safe place to enjoy a drink quietly without needing to socialize. I was always treated kindly, especially by Khairil Anwar, who made me feel welcome and never made me feel out of place for coming alone. Tonight was very different. I arrived around 9:40pm and was told it was fully booked, even though many tables were empty. I was seated at the back but told I had to leave by 10pm. When I asked if I could move to the bar after that, I was told the bar was also “fully booked.” My food arrived late, and just after I finished eating at 10:51pm, I was asked to move again because the table was “reserved at 11pm.” By then, I had lost any appetite to stay. As I walked out, there were still plenty of empty tables. Sadly, it seems like the ladies on staff didn’t extend the same warmth and consideration that I had experienced in the past — almost as if one woman doesn’t treat another woman well. I left feeling unwelcome, rushed out, and honestly, quite hurt.

Bar Trigona is honestly one of my favourite bars in KL. Their cocktails are always creative, made with local ingredients and cool twists, every drink feels like a little adventure. They greeted us with their special olive, which was such a nice touch to kick things off. The bartenders are super friendly, know their stuff, and are great at picking something based on what you like. The vibe is elegant yet cosy, especially during sunset when the city views glow golden. Perfect for a chill evening or a classy night out. Do yourself a favour and try the Trigona Old Fashioned, it’s smooth, balanced, and just heavenly. Already excited to go back for more great drinks and top notch service.

I had honey wine (mead wine) for the first time in my life here, and honestly, it was one of the best wines I’ve ever tasted. Smooth, unique, and absolutely delicious. I also tried the Penicillin cocktail, which was perfectly balanced and expertly made. What truly stood out, though, was the team. Their professionalism and warm hospitality made the whole experience unforgettable. You can tell they care deeply about their craft and about making guests feel welcome. Highly recommend Trigona if you’re looking for a refined, memorable night out with amazing drinks and top-tier service. P.S : special thanks to Vicky for his hospitality !!! 🤩

Their cocktail selection is pretty great but yes it’s pricey for a drink but you’re paying for the experience. Atmosphere was chill with nice views. They have many awards and it’s well deserved. The banana was my fave drink
