Where to Eat the Best Burgers in Seattle | Eater Seattle

"The presence of two signature burgers on the menu reflects a favorite from Barrel & Bacon’s sibling restaurant, Truffles N Bacon, in Las Vegas. That burger, the Truffles N Bacon signature burger, is indeed glitzy with its massive mac n cheese patty almost overwhelming the Angus beef patty in each bite. That burger is a guilty pleasure, but ultimately better is the Barrel & Bacon (B&B) signature burger, with bacon bringing the smoke and onion jam along with garlic aioli supplying savory notes. Best for: A big, meaty Sunday brunch." - Jay Friedman

Barrel & Bacon Review - Interbay - Seattle - The Infatuation

"As you might expect, there is in fact a ton of bacon on the menu at this Interbay restaurant. You’ll find bacon jam-topped truffle tots, a fried chicken sandwich with jalapeño bacon, and bits of bacon on top of a deep-fried mac and cheese brick (which is, in turn, on top of a burger patty). Like those over-the-top homages to swine, almost every other dish here is heavy and unmemorable. Elote riblets are pretty tasty, but the fried chicken with ube waffles comes out chewy and bland. And an ube french toast dessert is just sweet purple mush. Ironically, the best thing here is a refreshing beet salad that doesn't involve bacon at all. The dining room reminds us of a brewery with concrete floors and an exposed industrial ceiling, and it’s pretty quiet on a weeknight for dinner. Which begs the question: Why isn't the bacon-centric place open for brunch?" - Kayla Sager-Riley

Seattle’s New Restaurant Openings

"In case the name didn’t tip you off, this sit-down Interbay restaurant has lots of bacon. There are options like a pretzel with bacon butter, “sinful” tots dressed in bacon jam, and a bacon burger with a mac and cheese patty thrown in. If you’re looking for something sweet, they’ve got ube french toast, too." - kayla sager riley, aimee rizzo

Great little spot for brunch! For beverages, they offer a diverse mix of cocktails, mocktails, beer & wine. All the plates of food going by looked so delicious, so it was difficult to choose. I settled on the breakfast Mac n cheese and could not have been more pleased--creamy cheese sauce, salty ham strips, crunchy hash browns, and a lovely fried egg with crispy edges and a runny center. Absolutely divine. Place is on the small side and some of the tables seem a bit close together, but overall a very nice dining environment and decent layout for the space available. Bar seating looked clean and had a large TV--I'm already planning ahead for a nice future spot for early Sunday football. 😃 They also have a patio space with umbrella coverings that is dog-friendly! An occasional passing train may cause a momentary disturbance, but looks like a cute outdoor oasis to enjoy a happy hour. (Although there was a wheelchair ramp to get to the entry door, the patio access appeared to be stairs-only.) Would definitely recommend!

Oh my GOODNESS what an incredible place to come and eat!!!! I came here on a Sunday morning with my friends for brunch, so the wait was about 30 minutes, but it was so worth it. They don’t seem to have an automated waitlist system yet since it’s fairly small. The atmosphere inside is beautiful, modern, and very chic, and staff was all very friendly, especially our waitress Angela! Pricing was more than reasonable, and every bite was absolutely delectable and so delicious. I can’t wait to come back!! We got the Ube French toast, Breakfast Mac (my favorite), ube chicken and waffle, and chicken tinga omelette and not a single dish disappointed!

This place is fantastic!! The kitchen is a little small so making reservations will make for a better experience for you, your guests and the restaurant staff. Everything we’ve eaten here has been top notch. Such a balanced but complex flavor profile in each bite! The owners, Gary and Roxanne, are lovely and truly put so much care into every detail. The atmosphere spoke so directly to my millennial heart, (I know it’s cliche, but sue me) classic movies and music abound! It’s cozy and we will definitely be going back.

Google
I found this place from an Instagram reel, and it looked so good that I drove from Tacoma to come and try it out with my friend who came down from Lake Forest Park. It was well worth both of our trips! Parking was super easy as they had their own parking slots right in front of the entrance. The service was prompt, kind, and attentive. Now, for the food...oh my goodness!! We loved everything we ordered. We had the ube waffle and chicken, their signature burger that comes with a mac and cheese patty, and ended it all with the ube french toast, which was a cream cheese lover's dream, and an ube espresso martini, which was lovely and creamy with a light foam. Feedback for the owner: I only took a couple stars off for atmosphere because it was quite warm when we came on Saturday evening. I would recommend opening the windows in the evening if possible or turn up the AC if you have it. Thank you! 🙏🏻 I would highly recommend trying this spot out. You won't regret it!

It’s been a long time since a restaurant experience has moved me so much that I felt compelled to leave a review. The incredible couple who run this place made my Sunday truly unforgettable, and I was completely captivated by their warmth and hospitality. The food and drinks are unique and beyond delicious. I couldn’t let the moment pass without expressing my gratitude. I wish them all the success in the world, and I’ll be recommending this as a must-visit spot in Seattle. Just wow… thank you!

Google
A great out-of-the-way place! We had the mac & cheese burger and the Bacon & burger house favorite burger. They were both amazing! We highly recommend this place! (FYI, those are pickled onions on my burger, not a frog!)

Google
One of the most fun creative good quality cocktail in Seattle! Service was amazing, atmosphere was good. We tried happy hour menu( totally, chicken &fries). The food menu was not as good as drink menu but special menu pancake was really good. I can tell the owner who makes drinks here takes a lot of time and effort in the menu.

Google
A unique casual dining spot that offers a near perfect marriage of Filipino flavors to the favorite American food: burgers and fried chicken. Ube, the favorite asian yam, is ever present on their offerings. I got the drink on the special menu: up up and Ube. The coconut flavor is reminiscent of piña colada, a sweet tropical concoction that transports you to a warm and sunny beach front. In hind sight, I think next time I'll try other cocktails that don't share the same sweet notes as their food. We started with the sinful tots. As big fans of tots and fries, these are exceptionally yummy covered in cheese and bacon jam. To be fair, few things can taste bad covered in bacon jam. For main dishes we got the Ube waffles and chicken, and the B&B signature burger (on brioche instead of the regular pretzel bun). The chicken katsu is as delicious as is looks on the many review pictures. Crunchy without being dry. The ube waffle was ok, as we prefer crunchier texture, but it has good ube flavor. My burger was cooked perfectly and wonderfully covered in onion jam... I think by now you get the drift that the very clever operator here sets themselves apart with these delicious jams. A slight negative was the salad was overdressed. We saw some incredible desserts being served by the portions of our meals are so generous we just didn't have room for them. Service here was very prompt and super friendly. Fun music, kind of sports bar vibe. You can tell this restaurant was built with lots of love and care. It shows in their food and atmosphere. We are already planning to go back to try other dishes.

Yelp
Small cozy, industrial-like place with Filipino-American brunch and dinner options. The place is a bit out of the way without a car, but there is a good amount of parking. I made reservations 3 weeks in advance for a Sunday brunch as they tend to be pretty popular (more so the place is very small). We were late and they were strict to the dot that they only hold reservations for 10 minutes, which is okay, they still seated us at the bar in a 2-top table which is about what I would expect anyway with a reservation. We got seated shortly and ordered the Ube French Toast and Breakfast Mac. I also tried the Ube Me that is refreshing and a bit tangy with a combo of ube and calamansi. The Ube French toast is the popular item here and featured. It is a bit on the sweeter side but it is very hearty and flavorful. The Breakfast Mac is a bit interesting as there were hash browns, alongside ham and bacon. I wished they gave a bit more meat but otherwise, it is the quintessential comfort food. Prices are a bit high but the food portions are large and hearty. I rounded up the review because of the outsized service, with water refills and quick food as they made a note to the kitchen that we were in a rush and needed to be out at a certain time, and the staff were able to make this happen without cutting any corners. I will come back again for a few more items like the wings.

Yelp
Free parking lot which is nice that's shared with other businesses! Barrel and Bacon is a little small inside (max capacity is 49 people) and the restrooms are 2 unisex rooms shared with another business. Highly recommend coming during happy hour to try a lot of different things. For the two HH items, they were the size of a soup bowl. Everything else was big in portion so an entree and appetizers would be perfect. Service was good and no issues. Buffalo Mac: The amount of protein was generous and overall the dish was delicious. There wasn't a strong tasting of buffalo sauce and more like a hint. Sinful tots: The tots were delicious and had a slight truffle flavor. The bacon jam was reminiscent of BBQ sauce and overall a good item to share (or get it with a burger). TNB signature burger: The burger was very rich with a big piece of Mac and cheese patty. It wasn't that cohesive together and the bacon jam was the same from the sinful tots. Overall an over the top burger that was just okay. TNB iconic ube French toast: The French toast is delicious and you can taste the cinnamon. Regarding the ube, the cream in between was mostly yogurty and tart. I didn't pick up much ube flavor other than the use of the use halaya (jam) on top.

Yelp
This is the ultimate stop for UBE lovers in Seattle!!! I love the Filipino touches they added to the mainly American bar vibes menu. You can find ube on both the drinks menu and the kitchen menu! They have a full bar serving up creative cocktails and lots of draft beer options! Cocktail lovers might find a new favorite cocktail or 2 here ;) The kitchen menu has a good variety of bar type bites, unique entres and all day brunch options! The staff here are so attentive, friendly and helpful - ensuring that you'll leave satisfied w/ your drinks and meal!

Yelp
For those who love brunch, this is the spot! I've been here twice and have left each time wanting more. I was first introduced to Barrel & Bacon by Marie B., fellow Yelp Elite. We started with the Sinful Tots and I ordered the Breakfast Mac, and I was immediately hooked! The Breakfast Mac is baked mac & cheese with bits of bacon, ham, mushrooms, hashbrowns, truffle oil and topped with a sunny side up egg. You had me at truffle! Two weeks later, hubby and I visted and we started with the Fili Cheesesteak Rolls and the Sinful Tots - both are solid starters. For our entrees, I had the Ube Waffle & Chicken and hubby had the Chicken Tinga Omelette. Both dishes were tasty. There was a generous amount of chicken in and on top of the omelette. I loved the chicken katsu that accompanied the ube waffle. The katsu was crispy, juicy and flavorful, especially drizzled with the accompanying hot honey. I recommended to the neighboring first time diners those items I've already enjoyed and let them know that I couldn't imagine anything on the menu not being good. Once they received their order, they confirmed for us that the Monte Cristo and the Cinnamon Toast Crack Fries were good ... sooo, I know what I'm trying next! It's evident that a lot of care and thought goes into the preparation and presentation of their dishes. There is something for everyone here. Reservations for brunch are strongly encouraged and brunch is only served on Sundays. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The 80s music played overhead is a plus!

Yelp
First off, you will need to be very aware of the address and where this place is located as you will easily drive by it and miss it. You cannot see it from the street. However there are two entrances so depending on which direction you do have two choices. With your standard upscale environment, you are treated to some fantastic comfort/pub food. We were seated quickly upon our arrival. We used the reservation app within YELP to book our reservation. I had the bacon fat washed bourbon old fashioned. This was sublime. Being fat washed, the drink is smooth and ultra delicious. I started the meal with the Silly wings, which are deep fried, and coated with a sweet Tamarind sauce. You could have just given me a straw and a bowl of this stuff and I would have been happy. The wings, about 6-7 were extremely juicy and flavorful. I then stepped it up with the truffle mac&cheese burger. On a Chibatta roll, a burger is covered in a large slice of backed truffle Mac and cheese and then topped with bacon jam. People, this is something you really need to try, something you really need to have a big appetite for. Also had the sinful tots as my side. Finished it all off with the dark treat brownie covered in mascarpone cheese, and bacon jam heated up. Epic. With great service, quick and attentive, drinks that are sublime and food that will stick to your ribs and fill your belly, you simply cannot go wrong here. I must admit that I struggle to give this five stars. Not because they don't deserve it as they do, but giving great reviews means everyone else will want to try it and it will be harder and harder to find a great place that you can just pop into and call it your go to spot. But I would also do a disservice by not giving them the stars they so deservedly require.

Yelp
A solid 3.5/5. We went for brunch. After seeing how great the food looked and how it was all over my social media. We made the trip out there after running an errand. We arrived before they even opened. There were a couple cars with people also waiting in the ample parking lot. Honestly had we not have known about the restaurant, we'd probably never have known it was there. As soon as the open sign was on, we headed in. So I've learned that brunch is somewhat a big deal in Seattle. We were asked if we made reservations, which we did not. And then was told to wait for 25-30 minutes to see if any of the reservations had cancelled. So we sat and waited. Sure, if the some reservations showed up. But there were at least 3 other parties of 3-4 walk-ins also waiting. After 25ish minutes we were seated. The restaurant wasn't even half filled. There was ample seats at the bar area. I don't know why it took over 20 minutes to seat 2 people, when I obviously wasn't a full house. Once seated, we ordered and waited. We got: Pandan Mochi Pancakes $18.95 Ube Chicken and Waffles $18.95 Pandan-monium (n/a) $9 We didn't go for the viral items, but we appreciate the fusion twist. The food was good. Nothing exceptional. Perhaps it's because what we ordered? Perhaps it's because social media had hyped it up? Who knows. I think if you're in the area with family or want to meet up with friends and don't want to pay for parking then go check them out. But probably make reservations if you go.

Yelp
This place was good, but it didn't wow me as much as these reviews made it seem out to be. We made a reservation for a very late brunch, and were able to get seated immediately. I got the ube chicken and waffles, which was a smaller portion than I expected given the price. The waffle was extremely purple, but didn't really taste like ube at all. Though, it was fluffy and cooked well with a nice flavor still. The chicken was deeply fried and still pretty juicy, and I think the hot honey syrup on the side was what really tied it all together - that was delicious! I wasn't a big fan of the slaw on top though, it was a little to acidic / sour for my taste. The ambiance in here is nice, with a rustic feel to it. I appreciate the attentive service, but it was a little much here as we didn't really need our still half-full cups of water refilled to the brim every time we took a sip. It was all friendly of course though :)

Yelp
Wow, what a hidden gem ! Went with my wife and a friend for Sunday Brunch and it was fantastic ! Didn't have to wait to be seat , even though it's a smaller place, they do have an outdoor patio area. Our server was amazing, and the food was delicious. Everything we ordered was fabulous , I got the the Yummy Tummy , my friend got the breakfast burger, and wife got the Ube waffle & fried Chicken, even the Mocktails and cocktails were spot on !! Yelp
Thank goodness this place isn't just another bar on Elliot. Once you check out their menu, you will realize they have done their job making sure they provide a worthy experience for your time and effort. Also they have a medium sized shared dedicated parking lot that makes things easy. I can't decide what I like more, their bar food or their drinks. This is by far some of the best bar food I've had. Their attention to detail and choice of ingredients made me feel like I hit the jackpot. Ended up trying 4 or 5 different dishes. Be ware, the space is limited inside, but i don't see it being too crowded on an average day. Maybe if you had a large enough group with you, but we came fairly deep and all was well. Theres also outdoor space and areas next door to hang out if yoyou need to step away for a sec.

Yelp
I wondered what would take the former site of Champagne Diner in Interbay. I got wind of Barrel & Bacon by way of IG and the praise of the Filipino fusion. I decided to wrap up my birthday with a late evening visit (6/9/24). Wow - what an interior contrast from the previous business! I decided to not have takeout, but enjoy the loud music playing and fully experience this interior vibe and dine onsite. Yeah, I was literally the only customer but then it was like 9pm on a Sunday night. I later found out that it was also Day 2 of their new spot. This birthday gal splurged with the following seated at a two top. The Homie is my college age son and had remained home. Blueberry Whiskey Sour ($16) with bourbon, lemon juice, and housemade blueberry syrup expertly prepped by the female bartender. Could be a bit stronger, but sufficed for a Sunday night. Silly Gang Wings ($16.59) were three each deep fried flats and drummettes marinated in a sinigang/tamarind, garlic, cilantro, and Serrano pepper mix and drizzled with a finger licking sweet glaze. I ate three onsite, the other three pieces were devoured by The Homie. Crab Mac ($24.95) omg rich with a capital R! Pasta with crab meat, sliced asparagus, roasted peppers, Serrano peppers in a creamy cheesy sauce generously topped with crispy prosciutto bits. I thought I'd eat just a tiny bit. Nope, lived a little and ate half. Yes, again The Homie ate the other half. My wait person was very pleasant and attentive during my onsite festive meal. I had just finished packing my leftovers and was awaiting my check when I was given a huge surprise of another menu item, TNB's Iconic Ube French Toast ($19.59). Huge and indulgent with a birthday candle with feted with celebratory song. Evidently this was featured on Netflix (according to the menu) and is stacked high with French toast ube bread, ube cream cheese filling, macapuno/young coconut, ube jam, and condensed milk drizzle. I could only sample a minicule bit because I had already overindulged. Even this was quite an eye opener for The Homie. The microwaved week old remaining dregs were still tasty. From my brief conversation with one of the owners and his mother-in-law, this was his and his wife's long time dream to open such a spot. This couple from Lynnwood, felt this Interbay location in Seattle was perfect to see their vision become reality. His in-laws are the owners of Truffles N Bacon Cafe in Las Vegas for the past decade. Pro tips: want a change of scenery from Capitol Hill, Pioneer Square, Belltown, Fremont, or Ballard night spots? Check out Barrel & Bacon in Interbay. Indulgent bevs and eats, perfect for any occasion. Welcoming, polished service. Free parking in their shared private lot. Glad I spontaneously stopped by and grateful for wrapping up my birthday weekend at Barrel & Bacon. Wishing the owners and staff much success with this endeavor! Cheers!

Yelp
Loved stopping by this place when I was in Seattle! You can tell they really value quality, high-touch drinking experiences given the quality of ingredients. I tried their rosemary gimlet, and it was to die for! So smooth, not too sweet, and the touch of the fresh sprig of rosemary tied it all together. The owners are so friendly as well. Definitely a great place to come for great drinks!

Yelp
American comfort food with a twist of Filipino food. I highly recommend this place if you're in Seattle area.

Yelp
Food was okay. Pretty... but really small portions. Same with drinks.. cute but tiny and tasted like there was no alcohol in them. Worst of all though was the price. Quality did NOT meet the price. Service was good..but all the servers were in completely different attire. I think that's great that they can wear whatever they want, but I strongly recommend getting everyone to wear a branded t-shirt or even similar colors. It was way too lowkey for an establishment of any kind. No upbeat brunch vibes here. Kinda felt like a sports bar for a lonely bachelor. It was dark, no decorations and they were playing 80's soft rock. Definitely not the place for Sunday Brunch with your girls. All in all, I think I was just disappointed because social media hyped this place up so much and it just missed the mark for me. I say all that to say, it was not horrible by any means! I just think there are better brunch options in the area.

Megan O.

Yelp
Most amazing cocktails, great ambiance and LOVED the staff and music. Can't recommend this place enough, will be back (the craft cocktails are so so delicious)!
google avatar

Yelp
The service is extremely friendly. The Mac and cheese and burgers are the highlights of the menu. The beet goat cheese salad tasted good but barely any beets and sliced very thin. I added steak to the salad but it was very well done and dry. I would go back again but would stick to the burger next time!

Yelp
I want to say amazing things about this place. The service was excellent and the vibes were good. Unless you're a big fan of truffle oil on fries, tater tots and even in the Mac and cheese that they deep fry and put on burgers, you may want to skip it. I thought by now chefs knew that this condiment is a no no for anyone serious about making great food. The truffle oil on my plate was like an oil slick at the bottom. I had to pour it into my husband's plate, because he's a trooper and know this stuff makes me hurl. They are the sweetest people though. Remove that nasty stuff and you will get our repeat business.

Yelp
How I heard of this place: I was here for a Yelp Elite event just a few days ago and loved it. When our friends asked where we want to go for a family dinner, it was easy to come up with a recommendation. Type of cuisine: "American comfort food with a twist. Craft cocktails. Wine. Draft beer." Upscale pub fare with a Filipino flair, that takes every menu item above and beyond in the best way possible. Ambiance: Sleek, clean and neat. The space feels like a gentleman's bar, where fancy elite meets Seattle hipster. The vibe is upscale without being pretentious, and the craft comes out in every way - from Gary's (owner) knowledge and expertise, to the presentation of foods coming out of the kitchen. Everything is expertly plated and presented. What I ordered: We started with two of the non-alcoholic beverages we made in our Yelp Event: Rosemary Spritzer ($8) and New York Sour ($8), as well as an order of the Sinful Tots ($13.55): the relatively small portion of Tater tots tossed in truffle oil, shredded cheese, bacon jam with pepperoncini and chipotle ranch drizzle was just as good as it was in my Yelp event sample. For our main entrees, we had one Happy Hour menu item: Buffalo Mac & Cheese ($8.50), TRUFFLES N BACON SIGNATURE BURGER ($19.07): Angus beef patty, mac n cheese patty, TNB Signature Bacon Jam, sriracha aioli on brioche; THE RAWLIN'S ($19.49): Katsu-style buttermilk fried chicken with jalapeño bacon, bacon jam, smashed avocado and pepperjack cheese on ciabatta; and HAPPY TUMMY ($17.84): Bacon, brie, smashed avocado, mixed greens, bacon jam, tomato, and aioli on Schwartz Bros. croissant loaf. Our friends ordered the ELOTE RIBLETS ($14.49): Cilantro pesto, chipotle ranch, cotija cheese & pickled onions over corn Riblets, RANCH CHICKEN BLT SALAD ($17.47): Mixed greens with katsu-style buttermilk fried chicken, bacon, tomato, onions, white cheddar, croutons and tortilla strips tossed in ranch dressing, UBE WAFFLE & CHICKEN ($18.59): Crispy ube flavored waffle, katsu fried chicken, apple slaw & drizzled with hot honey syrup, and topped off the meal with TNB'S ICONIC UBE FRENCH TOAST ($19.59): Featured on Netflix - Fresh, Fried & Crispy Ube bread french toast, ube cream cheese filling, topped with coconut strings, ube jam & condensed milk drizzle. What I loved: Each menu item is decadent, wonderfully flavorful and packs a punch. I truly cannot choose a favorite among them. My husband and I shared the burger and the rawlins and I kept going back and forth between the two, unable to decide which "best bite" to save for the last. The elote riblets were a truly surprising and immediate favorite. And the ube French toast is the perfect blend of savory and sweet, without being overly so. Why I loved it: Friendly and knowledgeable staff, people who really take care and have great pride in their products and want each person to leave with a wonderful, individualized experience. We will be back! (Can't wait for brunch, coming in October 2024!?!) Cost: average to high

Yelp
Food was awesome, service was great and ambience was on point! We stayed for a bit and totally enjoyed ourselves, loved their old school music 80-90s vibe ...don't know what that other lady was talking about on her review but she's mistaken. Definitely going back! Btw, Dungeness Crab Mac & Cheese was delish!!!

Yelp
So excited to try this place when I saw they had ube waffles. I ordered the chicken and waffle and it did not disappoint! My friend got the crab cake sandwich. The owner Gary and his wife were there and waited on us. Great vibes. Would definitely come back for a happy hour. They've only been open six months. Wishing them all the best!

Yelp
So excited to have a go to spot for good eats and cocktails near my office, and Filipino inspired as well! Ambience is minimalist and modern which was so cozy. If you at in need of some amazing cocktails look no further - we had the Ube cocktail (a dessert in itself), the Rosemary Gimlet (so refreshing), and Hello Darkness (the showstopper- this should be your go to summer cocktail)! We weren't super hungry so we shared the ube waffles and fried chicken (YUM), and the elote riblets (YUM2). Next time you can bet we are going to have the signature Ube French Toast! As it's still new, it wasn't so busy (it was also a Monday afternoon)...but I don't except it to stay this way for long! Mac, our server, was so fun and attentive, and we were lucky to get some time to speak with one of the owners, Gary, and the OG chefs/owners from TnB Vegas (Jackie and Magnolia) were in town and were so kind and personable to spend time chatting with us! They even gave us a sample of a new dessert they were testing out. Which def needs to go on the menu! (YUM3) ps: outdoor patio? dog friendly? You can bet I'll be bringing my pup by soon!

Yelp
THIS IS NOW MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT IN Seattle. Atmosphere- classy and clean. Staff- they went out of their way to accommodate us as we were traveling with a dog. They set up an the outside area with a heater and umbrellas to keep us warm. (It's winter in Seattle.) Everything we ate was exceptional. We ordered drinks. I had Hello Darkness and my daughter ordered Bacon Fat Bourbon. Both were delicious. We ordered the Steak Sandwich, a burger with Mac & Cheese ?bun? in the middle and an order of Chicken Katsu Mac & Cheese. They were all FANTASTIC!

Sam N.

Yelp
They were so good! They brought home the bacon but there were no barrels (???), maybe that's named after the distillery next door. Lots of Ube! I love Ube and their Ube items were delicious. Ube drink had Ube, coconut, and Calamansi. Ube French toast had Ube cream cheese (mascarpone???), Ube paste, and was a delicious dessert to finish up. Ube Chicken and Waffles??? We didn't have that. The service was excellent! Everyone was so nice and did a great job pressuring/encouraging us to order more but in a nice way. The ambiance was simple and relaxed. Come here for the Ube stay for the Silly Gang (???? Sinigang) wings. We took the sauce home because it was so sweet and tangy and we dipped the rest of the menu items into it. Mac n' cheese burger is a 10/10 but it fell apart which was crazy. Not for small stomachs or lactose intolerant ppl. Happy hours 4-6pm every day I think. Good deal.

Yelp
We found Barrel & Bacon on Yelp and decided to check it out. We made a reservation and ended up arriving a little early. We were promptly seated and brought drinks. We decided to order the elote riblets to share. They were amazing! I honestly could have eaten a few order of them as my meal. For our entrees I ordered the steak sandwich and my friend ordered the buffalo Mac and cheese. Both were very good! Parking was very easy in the lot in front of the restaurant. Bathrooms were clean. Our waitress was so nice and attentive. We are not from the area, but if we were we would definitely be back!

Yelp
so much to love about this place; for starters, the cocktail program here just does not miss. in a world full of espresso martinis, the one we had here was the absolute best, and the bartenders here bless their old fashioned's with luxardo cherries, which -- if you don't know what those are, stop whatever you're doing and come order one immediately because it will change you for the better additionally, any sandwich you can order here on their croissant loaf will also be hands down one of the best you've had recently, so if you're anything like us, you'll be looking for it at your grocery store the very next day, and probably won't find it because we have no idea where this stuff comes from (?!). the elote riblets are also a must order for us, but i do wish they gave you more of them because they are so darn good (but also look like they could be a lot of work, so we won't be trying to make these ourselves any time soon) finally, everyone seems to be talking up their ube french toast which i'm sure is as great as advertised, but we opted for their grilled (yes grilled) pound cake, which was so light and fluffy with just a hint of crispiness that we couldn't help but order a second one, since the first one disappeared so quickly in front of our eyes dog friendly patio out back; great service, and was not nearly as busy (yet) as they inevitably will get + deserve. thank you for the great drinks and food! looking forward to coming back the next time we're in town :)

Yelp
got a passionfruit cocktail, ube french toast, and phili cheesesteak rolls. Everything was good (the french toast was actually less sweet than I was hoping for, which was surprising) and came pretty quickly. Easy to park.

Yelp
Outstanding food, service and atmosphere! I can't believe we've never heard of this place before (although they've only been open since June). We selected a variety of options from the menu and bar and they were all spectacular- with the ube French toast (for dessert) taking the crown - so inventive & yummy! My only criticism is for the pricing of their 'specialty craft cocktails' - those were pretty steep ($$$$). None of the ones we wanted were on their HH menu (of course) so I don't think we'll indulge w/any of those when we return, but we will definitely be back. The food and ambiance will be our draw.

Yelp
Yum yum yum. All our dishes were delicious. Plates are well served and drinks are incredible. We got patio seating that was comfortable for our group of 5. Service also 10/10.

Yelp
I cannot express enough of how much I LOVE this place. It's rare to find a good Filipino spot that makes Ube the way you remember it from your childhood...and from the first time I had their Ube French toast I wanted more!!! The fact that they serve booze is a huge plus! If you're in town or in the area and looking for amazing Filipino food, I highly recommend this place!

Yelp
Open less than 2 weeks, Owner Gary and Server Amanda did a great job making us feel welcome with their friendliness + tasty food and drinks. The back deck was perfect on a warm evening and we enjoyed the trains, some stationary and some passing by, which created a cool industrial vibe. Favorites on the menu were the Sinful Tots, Crab Mac n Cheese, the Beet It salad (great dressing and not overdressed) and the Steak Sandwich. Service was friendly and professional. It's tucked away behind a giant hedge but worth looking for. Ample free parking a plus!

Yelp
A dog-friendly outdoor patio with yummy food. Ube cocktail and wings for the win! Trains make a special appearance for transportation geeks like myself.

Yelp
Everything was absolutely delicious!! Service and ambiance amazing too! Would definitely recommend coming here for a date night :)

Yelp
Great service, good food, and a good set up! Lots of parking. We went for dinner before a show downtown but this would also be a great happy hour spot. The elote riblets were amazing. The drinks we got were very nicely done as well!

Yelp
LOVED this place! Great food, great service and atmosphere, and fun cocktail menu. The ube waffle was to DIE for!! So YUMMO! And they have their own parking lot - you can't beat that convenience when it comes to Seattle. proper. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Back again to conquer more of this phenomenal menu!! We had to get the sinful tots again, but otherwise tried other items. We had the pretzel with cheese sauce (GET THE NUTELLA), crab Mac, bnb signature burger, steak sandwich, and twisted bourbon glazed pound cake. The crab Mac was light while still indulgent with high quality crab and crispy prosciutto to add the perfect crunch in every bite. The burger had all you could need and wish for with the best bacon jam (maybe a bit different than last time, made with more love??) and the side salad was perfectly dressed. My favorite part was the pound cake. Truly grilled with a smoky flavor paired with fluffy mascarpone. Im always a sucker for dessert. Thank you so much Roxanne and Gary for amazing hospitality again! Best ambiance for an evening with friends.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. Added bonus of having free and available parking, a perk of location. My wife and I shared the Buffalo Mac (happy hour size), Barrel & Bacon Signature Burger, and the Ube Waffle & Chicken. I had an Ube Me to drink. We were happy with everything. My wife kept saying, "Five stars!" ... and yes, that is out of five. The drink was very sweet and creamy, which is right up my alley. If you don't like sweet drinks, pretty much every other cocktail sounded tempting. The mac was rich and the bacon crispy. The burger was cooked to juicy perfection. The Waffle and chicken were cooked to crispy perfection. Our server Genevieve was great - very attentive. We'll be back.

Yelp
I totally trusted in Yelp ratings to find a new restaurant for dinner with friends. It is not very often that you find a restaurant with nothing but five-star reviews. There is a reason for that - they deserve it! Our group of baby boomers did not indulge in any of the craft cocktails - only in cheese burgers and fries. That was THE BEST cheeseburger I have ever had hands down. The service was top notch as well, making Barrel & Bacon a delicious night out.

Yelp
This place is like if you took the trendiest thing from a specific type of food and combined it with a bar food item. Honestly it works and I enjoyed a bunch of different things here. It's a good spot and I liked the vibe. Service was good and parking in the area isn't bad. A great spot before a storm game.

Yelp
New spot, one month old. Delicious blackberry-forward cocktail, well executed beet and grilled cheese salad, and generously sized burgers (we tried the bacon and a chicken katsu). We subbed in the fancy truffle tots. NICE and friendly owner (Gary) and bartender Amanda. Gary has a background in the mobile cocktail bar events business so I expect the drinks here to be top-notch. Give them a try!

Yelp
Loved the Silly Gang Wings - we were expecting sweet but these savory tamarind marinade wings were a pleasant surprise. Same with the Chicken and Ube Waffle - basics were well done, but there was a nuanced caramelization in the panko for the chicken that really hit just right. VERY tasty and the service was great; we were also happy to hear they are planning to expand to offer brunch in the future. We are out in Magnolia and short of driving into Ballard or downtown there's not a huge range of options, so we are very happy to welcome this addition to the neighborhood. I don't usually bother to write reviews, but I want to see this place make it! :)

Yelp
Fantastic cocktails? Yes! Fantastic food? Yes! Fantastic staff? Yes! They're the new kids on the block; going into their second week(?). I can't wait to see how they grow. I can't wait to go back. PS: Whoo hoo! Bonus of parking!

Roxie M.

Yelp
New restaurant in Seattle. Great food and delicious cocktails with an outdoor patio and FREE PARKING is a plus!

Tim K.

Yelp
I've been to their sister restaurant in Las Vegas so when I heard that Barrel & Bacon was opening in Seattle I was quite excited. The Tots and the Mac & Cheese burger are AHHMAZING! Will definitely be back in the future!

Kent B.

Yelp
first time.. we loved the riblets, tater tots and especially the burger! excellent service, good value too!

Yelp
Wonderful service and excellent food. Got dinner on a quiet night and sat on back patio. Wholesome and tasty food (wings are excellent).

Yelp
We discovered this place by happy accident and we are in love with it. Highly recommend the Barrel and Bacon Signature Burger, the Truffles and Bacon Signature Burger, and the uniquely amazing Sinful Tots. Even if you don't like Tater Tots you will love Sinful Tots. The Beet Salad is also amazing. Plenty of easy parking, a delightful wait staff, reasonable prices, friendly owners. We look forward to seeing you there!!

Angela S.

Yelp
Really loved the intersection between comfort food and Asian flavors. The sinful tots and ube french toast were mouthwatering! And FREE PARKING in Seattle? Heck yes!
