"There are several Bartacos around the city, and just like the others, the Inman Park location has a nice patio, great margaritas, and serves little tacos that you can easily eat three or four of—our favorite is the fried oyster. And if you’re with a friend who says they don’t want tacos because they’ve already had some five times this week, the ceviche and plantains are good picks too." - sarah bailey, nina reeder, jacinta howard

Saturday lunch was my second time here at this location and happy to be back. Love the location of the restaurant and how it feels over in Inman Park. While "Pure" is across the street, I prefer Bartaco over here for sure. Great variety of drinks with tequilas and mezcals. They have a full bar, and their cocktails are on point. I love their spicy margaritas that they make. The Tacos are on the smaller size so order accordingly, I ordered 4 this time and was not disappointed by all the different flavors they have paired with each meat. For the service, you pay and order by phone on their website so make sure to have your phone charged before coming here :) They reward you with coupons if you fill out the surveys after your meal for next time.

First time coming here and it definitely won’t be the last! The atmosphere is perfect and service is super friendly. We ordered a bunch of tacos and it did not break the bank at all. I recommend the pork belly tacos! Super yummy

I recently dined at Bar Taco, and it was an outstanding experience. The vibrant, casual atmosphere set the perfect tone for a fun meal. The tacos were exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly crafted. I especially enjoyed the variety of fillings and the creative combinations that offered something for every palate. The green margarita is the best. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience. Additionally, the small plates and sides complemented the tacos perfectly. Bar Taco truly excels in delivering a memorable and delicious dining experience. I’m looking forward to my next visit!

Our team ate here for lunch while on a company retreat in Atlanta. To be honest, we ordered everything on the menu. Based on the team reactions, the plantains, churros, street corn, and pork tacos were good. In addition, the service was good. I've had better tacos since I am from Houston, but the service and atmosphere was good.

Google
ordered a mushroom bowl and asked for no onions and still received them on my dish, the mushrooms were soggy and the peppers raw, we were missing two tacos and waited over 15 mins after finishing eating to get them. having to ask 3 separate servers for them. not to mention how dishes came out in weird order and we were sitting with half of it. our glasses were dirty and i found a bug in mine.

Portion sizes are way too small for the prices but, other than that I loved the taste of the food, service and atmosphere. Kids plates portion sizes are good. Will be returning!

I used to love sharing a dine-in experience with friends and family here. But waiting times became extreme, prices increased, but food and service quality declined. Atmosphere is always great on a happening day if you can manage to get seated. I was in the mood for something hearty but not too heavy. I decided on a duck bowl. It was early evening, and the place wasn't crowded on a random Tuesday. I was the only person at the take-out counter. I placed my order and took a seat for waiting. I had calls coming in as the close of business was ending and I lost track of time. I finally ended the last call and noticed I hadn't got my food yet. I looked around and saw a white bag on the counter but no one was there. I checked the time....it had been about 30mins and I didn't have an huge order plus the place wasn't crowded. A female walks to the counter and sees me looking at her and she instantly asks if I were there for the take-out order.....ummmm yeah, I've been sitting here waiting the whole time. She said she didn't see me, but I was sitting right in front of the take-out counter on a bench seat and again I was the only person at the take-out. I was annoyed, grabbed my food and headed to the car. I should have checked it, but I really had a schedule to keep, and I could only afford to stop quickly for dinner. The food was luke warm, probably due to sitting on the counter for such time. My duck bowl was beyond disappointing with bare amounts of duck portions and even less brown rice underneath. There were fresh red peppers, yellow peppers, and white oinions mixed with some old soggy brown onion pieces. The prices just don't match the food and service quality anymore. There are too many other food places in the same area for this, plus new spots like Talking Taco about.

Delicious food that comes out super quick! This is a great place to meet up with family and friends for a casual meal. You can order via your phone or through placing an order directly with the staff. Staff are friendly and the environment is very relaxed.

Yelp
Bartaco - Inman Park, Atlanta Bartaco in Inman Park is the perfect spot for a casual yet vibrant dining experience. With its relaxed atmosphere and breezy decor, it feels like a mini getaway in the heart of Atlanta. Ambiance The vibes here are laid-back and inviting. Whether you're hanging out with friends or enjoying a low-key date night, the lounge-like setup and stylish decor create a great space to unwind. It's the kind of place where you could easily lose track of time. Food The tacos are the star of the show, and for good reason. With a variety of flavorful options, there's something for everyone--whether you're a meat lover, seafood fan, or vegetarian. They're reasonably priced too, making it easy to mix and match to your heart's content. The sides and drinks complement the tacos perfectly. Overall Bartaco is a fantastic hangout spot that nails the combination of great food, good prices, and a fun atmosphere. Whether you're here for the tacos or just to chill, you won't leave disappointed.

Yelp
TLDR: Love the food and drinks, don't care for the ordering system I've been a long time fan of bartaco, ever since they first set up in West Midtown around 2015. I have now added three of Atlanta's locations and have enjoyed my visit at nearly everyone, but my most recent visit to the Vinings location had me a bit frustrated by the design of the new ordering system. IMPORTANT: I have been able to chat with the manager about this after my visit. They were very friendly and helpful and sought to make things right. ALSO IMPORTANT: I arrived to dinner late and probably missed the ordering orientation that most servers give at bartaco. Ordering is now intended to be done entirely online with the use of patrons' phones. Allegedly, there are paper menus available, I think, but the waitress I asked wasn't familiar with that option. A friend and I were both having trouble working with the only menu and struggled getting an order through. Thankfully, the party I was with was really casual, and some of my friends ordered by using others' phones. I can imagine, if someone is familiar with the ordering system, it would be a breeze to work with and genuinely saves a lot of time. It's just not my preference in general. Everything that was ordered for my table came out in what felt like record speed! The cocktails, the tacos, the rice bowls, I was amazed at how fast everything arrived. And, as usual, everything was delicious. I got a mushroom taco, a fish taco, and a cocktail, and I wished I could have had more but I needed to head home. So, yes, please go and enjoy the tasty food and drinks. Knowing abouy the ordering system ahead of time should avoid the unpleasant experience I had.

Yelp
Drinks are amazing. Got my life with the green margarita. So refreshing and sweet but not sugary. I got 3 lol. Knocked em back like water. My friend got the old fashioned and since he's particular he wasn't as pleased. Said it was off and being disappointed by two he switched to a Manhattan which he thought was great. The tacos... oof. Coming from LA I appreciate a good taco and these were underwhelming. The size is fine but the inside/filling was scanty, especially the shrimp taco. It had 3 bite size shrimp and that's it. Same thoughts on the steak and pork belly tacos. Now I LOVED the tuna taco. Seared just right and exploding with flavor. Didn't realize when I ordered it ,it comes on a piece of lettuce instead of a tortilla but it was a fun surprise and I'd order this one again. Mike the manager was very helpful throughout the evening and the epitome of quality hospitality. Overall a 3.5 experience because of the tacos - the namesake being pretty mid - but rounding up bc I loved my drinks, service was great and bathroom/restaurant/etc were clean and well serviced.

Yelp
Delicious food! I have the Brussels taco and ahi tuna with crispy rice. Service was fine and the prices were really good! I just wish the fire place was on and running around lunch time! The drinks were great as well (and pretty strong!)

Yelp
Stopped in for a late lunch with my friend. Immediately greeted with a smile and was able to choose our seating. Loved the decor. We started with esquites & chips + salsa for apps and for tacos we had the Baja fish, Glazed Pork Belly, and chicken if I remember correctly! We had wine and water for beverages. Always great food - but next time I may get all Baja Fish!

Yelp
PARKING (3/5): Sucks in this area during peak hours. Street parking is available, but you might have to look. AMBIANCE (4/5): I really do love this indoor/outdoor casual but chic ambiance they have. This is definitely more pricey than normal street tacos, but it's a cute spot. CUSTOMER SERVICE (2/5): It's mostly "order yourself" by scanning the QR code on the table. First timers will take longer because you have to put in your credit card info, but after that the food comes out pretty quickly. The service however, sucks! If it's not someone just delivering your food, they drop it on the table and run away so quickly. If you need something your supposed to put this card up so they know to help you, but it's 50/50 on if service is good or bad everytime I come here which is weekly. FOOD (4/5): FAVS: pork belly taco, salsa trio, plantains, esquites $4 GLAZED PORK BELLY TACO: I've tried them all and this one is the BEST taco. Trust me! Keep in mind they are TINY. $4 TUNA TATAKO: seared tuna on bib lettuce, light & refreshing if you're not looking for something heavy. Has Asian flavors. $3 MUSHROOM: was hearty, but unless I'm vegan I wouldn't order again $4 SESAME RIBEYE: it was one of the better tacos, more like a kimchee taco $6 GAZPACHO: chilled tomato based soup. Light & refreshing on a hot day! Some minced vegetables in it. $8 DUCK BIRRIA W/ BROTH: this was OK, I wish the cheese was melty & the duck was dry. I wouldn't order again. DRINKS (4/5): I've tried them all & here are my favs: * MARGARITA (plain or any flavor) * OAXACAN SUNSHINE * ORANGE CRUSH (just tastes like fresh OJ) * MOJITO OVERALL (4/5): I really like this spot for proximity, the food & the vibe. Just don't be in a rush when you come here and your experience will be great.

Yelp
Tacos are always good at Bartaco! Today they did not have the Crispy Oyster ones! I was heart broken! The sesame rib-eye tacos made me feel better though. Had a pomegranate caipirinha that was pretty amazing. No pics. I was too hungry.

Yelp
Stopped by the bar for a quick taco. Very busy. The bartenders were handling it pretty well. Very attentive. The bar was full. It was too many people at the booths. My food came pretty fast. Not a fans of the fish taco. It was cold. As fast as it came what could I expect it to be. The shrimp taco tasted pretty good. Whatever sauce was on it made it tasty. But couldve been better if it was hotter.

Yelp
Tonight was one of those amazing nights that happened by accident. My sister and her bestfriend were in town and after a day of shopping, it was time for dinner. My little brother, Lecia and I had plans as well so we all linked up to go eat. Our original destination had a 90 minute wait which then landed us at Bartaco - Inman Park. Though Bartaco - Inman Park was not the original plan, I can honestly say I am so happy we ended up there! The setup of Bartaco - Inman Park is gorgeous. The all glass front allows you to take in the ambiance before you even walk inside. The setup is super efficient and allows for the space to not be overcrowded even when it's full. Upon walking in, I was greeted by the hostess who was very pleasant and carried a huge smile. After welcoming me in, she advised me there would be about a 30 minute wait. I advised I was fine with it and she added me to the list... I must take a moment to acknowledge the robust text system that Bartaco - Inman Park employs. It's kept me up to date on what my status was along with offering me options. Below are the messages I received for reference: Text 1: "Congrats on joining bartaco's waitlist! We will text you when your table is ready." Text 2: "Hello! Your table is almost ready! Would you like a booth or a table?" I responded with "Table" Text 3: "It's taco time--your table is ready! Check in at the host stand to get seated. Text "LEAVE" to remove yourself from the list!" Like I said, robust and informative. Also, I can confirm I was seated at a table as I had requested. Once seated, Keyonna arrived at our table to welcome us and bring us water. She educated us on the menu and how the ordering process works and offered a few menu highlights as well. She was super pleasant and truly represented what "good service" is all about. After scrolling the menu I decided I had to have it all. LoL! I ordered, salsa roja + chips - a spicy red salsa w/ charred veggies + tomatillos contains: garlic + pineapple (2) sesame ribeye - shaved ribeye beef marinated in a sweet sesame-soy sauce, topped with spicy kimchi and cilantro contains: garlic, onion, soy, sesame, se spiced chicken verde bowl - chicken in chile and herb marinade topped with aguacate salsa contains: garlic + onion Babeeeeeeeeeeeee... When I tell you EVERYTHING was AMAZING!!!! I mean everything. All the food was well flavored, perfectly made, and beautifully presented. Every dish provided a layered flavor profile which allowed my taste buds to continue to be surprised with good flavored rewards. Things to note: The salsa rojas is super spicy which is ideal for those like me who love an intense kick. The sesame ribeye is marinated and tender. The sesame pairs well with the cilantro and garlic seasonings. The combination of all the flavors unite in every bite which all for the entire taco to be a true Upscale Street Taco experience. Originally I had ordered one, but it was so good I had to get a second one. LoL! The spiced chicken verde bowl was amazing. The brown rice was erdectlh done and wasn't hard and cardboard-like as most bowls seem to be. The chicken was well seasoned and the peppers were perfectly grilled. This bowl was amazing... Truth be told it was even. Enter on the second day as I was full from the tacos and ended up taking it to go. This is now my new addiction. I have fallen in love with Bartaco - Inman Park. The service. The food. The ambiance. The EVERYTHING! Whether looking for a local gem to grab a bite alone, or enjoy a meal with friends, Bartaco - Inman Park is the perfect place... if you see me there just know a spiced chicken verde bowl isn't too far away. LoL!!!!!

Yelp
I love bar taco. Been going to this location well over 10 years. Went this week. The food was really good. Alonso was our server, he was the nicest, sweetest guy ever. The service was good and we got there before the crowd so no wait. I was disappointed they didn't have fried oysters which is my favorite item on the menu they used to have but everything else was good. We ate a lot and were really full when we left.

Kyja W.

Yelp
My honest take: So many people I know love this chain, but each time I have it, no matter the location, I always just feel something lacking. The service is decent from what I recall--waitstaff is always friendly. Personally, I hate that the ordering process is by phone at your table. Some people find it more convenient. I find it tiring and distracting. When I go out to eat, I want to put my phone down and speak to real humans. Technology is great, but it's distancing us. Despite being an introvert, I enjoy this kind of interaction and find it important. Call me old fashioned if you will. I guess for me, the trendy, stylish Bartaco sits quality-wise somewhere in the middle between authentic Mexican restaurants like El Rey Del Taco and La Pastorcita that I adore, and my Mexican fast food guilty pleasures Moe's and Taco Bell. It ranks just under comfort casual chains like La Parrilla where you don't have to pay for chips and salsa and you get tasty food where you know what to expect, and above spots like Tex-Mex chains Tin Roof Cantina and Chuy's that leave much to be desired. Bartaco is neck and neck with but a step above the pretentious fan favorite Muchacho's that just didn't do it for me. Last time I got Bartaco, I had the cauliflower bowl. It was pretty good and they did their best to amp up the flavor with that yummy sauce. To be fair, bowls can be a challenge to make fun! I was trying to be "healthy" this day. One of my favorite parts of this bowl was the little crunchy bits (almonds?) that brought a nice texture. As expected, the tacos are better than the bowl. I've had the mushroom with queso fresco taco, cauliflower taco, Baja fish taco, and chile-lime shrimp taco, all pretty good. Once you've had authentic hole-in-the-wall tacos though, you'll see the difference. Bartaco is the type of place to go to if you want a more upscale taco spot to go to with friends who are above other more casual chains. It's good. I wish you could give half stars because I want to give Bartaco a 3.5 (really 3.8 sounds right).

Sharon J.

Yelp
I'm from out of town and I wish we had a bartaco in the Midwest. The service was solid. Waiters checked in with us frequent enough without being incessant. The ambiance was amazing. Came w a friend and had a great time. Lots of people on dates and groups of friends. See photo but the food was phenomenal!!! Duck taco (front - delicious& flavorful) and Pork Belly taco (back - glazed and good crunch) with a side of corn off the Cobb (creamiest corn I've had in my life). I'll be dreaming about this corn for a long time. If I lived closer, I would be here at least once a week.

Yelp
not as vibey at the buckhead location but the same great menu! as always you order on your phone via QR code. i wish their system took apple pay as they take credit card only and i get annoyed entering it every time i visit don't come to bartaco if you're hungry. don't come to bartaco. if you're hungry. you come for vibes, good drinks (my favorite is the orange crush for $10), and some light bites. it's the perfect spot for a nice day!

Yelp
If you like unique tacos, this is the place for you! My daughter and I went to get some tacos to take home for dinner. The server who took our order was very helpful and able to help me special order mine. We were able to sit at a table and chat while we waited for our food. The atmosphere was open, airy, and comfortable. We walked home and opened the bag to discover delights awaiting. I ordered the sesame steak taco. The meat flavor was very good! I also had a falafel taco which was interesting and tasty. Be aware that the tacos are small, so plan to get more than one , especially if you are hungry. The "chips" are unusual / they are flat corn tortillas (unsalted) that you can break apart. (We pulled out a bag of tortilla chips from the pantry.). Overall, it was a good experience and we will return!

Claire S.

Yelp
-very attentive staff -duck birria was a little too salty and gamey for me -crispy shrimp taco was bomb, other tacos were alright -prices were decent for Atlanta -seated quickly -music was way too loud for any conversation -plantains and sauce was good--came w a decent amount -canceled one of my orders bc i had to leave and staff was very understanding -half chicken was alright nothing to write home about--kinda taste like the Costco rotisserie chicken -wish we tried dessert menu -good late night bite spot!

Yelp
I came out during the week for the first time with my friend to celebrate my birthday. I love the ambiance and cozy feel. Our server was amazing! I thought the food was very good. Being it was my first time there, I was a little suprised at the portion sizes. I ordered 3 tacos and a drink. I wanted the chicken tortilla soup, but they were out. I left still a little hungry.

Bruce C.

Yelp
Well guys here we go! No question the food is amazing but our service was not the best this time. We moved because it was cold by the door but where we moved it seemed like there were no servers. Everything came out super slow. We had to stop people to help us. Not good!

Ashley C.

Yelp

Yelp
I haven't been to Bartaco in years. This is my first time at this location. My friend and I decided to go after we had yoga because it was down the street. As soon as we came in, we were greeted by a nice young lady. We got to our table and she explained there's a QR code with the menu and you can place your order with that. Or you can ask for a menu and have a waiter handle the order (although they technically just give you "forms" that you fill out.) We used the QR code. It took us a couple tries because it wasn't saving either of our credit card information for some reason. But the food was great! Everything came out so fast. I kid you not it felt like I placed the order and then within 10 minutes everything was starting to come out. We both had spicy margaritas, which were fantastic. We started out with the trio dip, which was two salsas (verde and roja) and guacamole. All really good! I really like the salsa roja. It's a little spicy which I loved. I had three tacos. I had pork belly, sesame ribeye, and chicken verde. All so flavorful. I think my favorite was the sesame ribeye! And of course we had churros for dessert. Really good! I love the dipping sauces it comes with. Overall great food and experience.

Yelp
Went to bartaco for a girl dinner I am a taco fan I love all things tacos whether authentic or not. Just based off the menu you know these aren't authentic. Now you order completely off your phone which I like. I hate that awkward waiting for the bill period so I liked that I could just pay and go. I got 4 tacos and a drink which amounted to $35. The tacos are relatively inexpensive ranging from $3-$7 (the lobster taco) but the drinks are where most of the money came from. So I ordered 4 tacos thinking it'd be a lot and I'd have left overs but these tacos are mini in size, which isn't necessarily a complaint but something to note. To be honest, next time (cause I would come back) I'd probably order a rice bowl and then a couple tacos because it'd be more filling for the same price. Tacos ordered: Fried Oyster -- surprisingly one of my favorite tacos. Came with a great sauce that was light and spicy Pork Belly -- soooo good loved the bbq sauce that came with it Lobster -- for $7 this one was mid. I'd skip out on this one next time. Roasted duck-- also mid! nothing to write home about but it was good. Overall, I had a good experience. Very chill vibe so perfect for casual lunches and dinners.

Russ H.

Yelp
Absolutely ridiculous ordering system. If you want more than a quick lunch, perhaps a temp job serving as your own waiter and spending 20 minutes downloading a phone app and inputting your credit card information only to end up in a confusing loop, go here! Obviously, owners have opted for tech over people to line their pockets. Food was also gross (greasy fish tacos). "Waitstaff" see their roles as just food runners and tech support. Too many great choices all around Inman Park to settle for this, go anywhere else.

D'Jillisser K.

Yelp
Good vibes and good food! The ordering was simple, as the QR code directed me to the menu which had great selections of tacos, and non taco. There's both indoor and outdoors seating. For my visit, I enjoyed the outdoor view as it was cool summer day. I'd like to add that both the servers and host were both hospitable which I appreciated! If you're in the V. Highland are, definitely give Bartaco a try!

Karina F.

Yelp
terrible experience, there are no servers, they never cleaned our bar. They weren't friendly at all. So disappointing.. and this is not even a lime. So not impressed.

M T.

Yelp
The food and service at Bartaco are usually consistent. My favorite tacos are the pork belly tacos in the duck tacos. You can't go wrong with either. The ambience was chill and the wait staff was very friendly.

Tanisha B.

Yelp
The service was most excellent. Every one was super attentive. Multiple servers came to the table to make sure we were so. The ambiance is lovely. Very modern... the dim lighting makes for a great chill mood. It feels a bit romantic. Now the food was an 11out 10. It was my first time trying duck and it delicious. The sauces were fantastic and everything was so fresh. The oyster taco and plantain reigned supreme. The spicy margarita was also most a whole vibe in itself.

Vera W.

Yelp
Can't continue to drink without putting some food on your belly. Wine tasting, now tacos... not one for them but I did enjoy them!! The waitress was really nice. Shots and margaritas anyone ‍ I did Baja fish...ok and roasted duck...yummy, would definitely get again!!! The vibes were high and the space was cool. I could and would go back for sure. The North Highland area is a whole vibe.

Lathon C.

Yelp
Good service, better food. This is my go to spot for a light lunch and great happy hours! The craft cocktails are amazing and the food is typically always fresh. With reasonable prices, it's also a good idea for a date night spot. The duck taco and old thymer cocktail combination is a win-win. They have several locations in Atlanta and also throughout the U.S.

Wanisha H.

Yelp
Cool vibe with DJ! Best thing was the ordering from your phone and not constantly having to look for a server. Service was quick and servers were polite. The food is truly small bites but delicious. I had the pork belly taco. The shrimp taco and the tuna tatako. The drinks were good not strong though.

Matthew E.

Yelp
Bartaco is a haven for those seeking a culinary adventure! From the moment you step in, the ambiance transports you to a coastal retreat, with its relaxed vibe and welcoming décor. But it's the food that steals the show! Each taco is a masterpiece, bursting with fresh and vibrant flavors that dance on your palate. Whether you're indulging in their classic favorites or exploring their inventive specials, every bite is a journey of taste and texture. Pair that with their delightful cocktails and friendly service, and you have a dining experience worth savoring.

Clarke M.

Yelp
I really hate to give bar taco any less than 5 stars but the experience at this location is such a let down. When I arrived around 5pm the place wasn't that busy and we were sat right away. I let the waitress know that I typically have issues with the mobile ordering and she was a bit hesitant but, when I showed her I wasn't able to receive the verification code she brought paper menus for my friend and I. I ended up ordering a bit of everything...1 spiced chicken taco, 2 sesame ribeye tacos, 1 roasted duck taco, 2 chili lime tacos, 2 falafel tacos, and plantains. Unfortunately, the only ones I was really a fan of were the duck and ribeye tacos and the plantains. The shrimp was too spicy to really get much of a flavor and the chicken taco was pretty dry. I really didn't know what to expect from the falafel taco but even with the sauce it still lacked flavor. Overall, the food was a 50/50. The main reason I couldn't give this place a higher score was because of wait times and parking. My friend and I ordered a second round of drinks and although the restaurant had got busier it took about 30 minutes before we could flag down a waiter and let him know we still hadn't gotten our drinks. Also, even though this is Atlanta I had hoped the parking situation would be better. With only a handful of street parking spots available most people have to park in a parking garage and the restaurant doesn't validate. Overall , for the food, service, and parking I would recommend going to their Roswell Rd location instead.

Roger R.

Yelp
Great service! We Will be back! The Manager Chris was so cool! Really great service! The food was exceptional. A young African American server with a bob hairstyle was great with recommendations. Everything she recommended was excellent.

Miyuki Y.

Yelp
Great taco place in Inman park! They have lots of options and most are very good! Pork belly was my personal favorite and I love the way they serve chips and guacamole. They do get pretty busy especially on weekends so please remember to join the waitlist prior to arriving so your wait is cut short.

Yelp
This place is so pretty. We were told it would be a twenty min wait and ended up waiting like 40 min because they forgot about us. We waited at the bar and I ordered a margarita, I added extra simple syrup and it was so good. The downfall was the food. My fish face came with a fish that was the size of my pinky... was pretty disappointed and my Korean beef taco was on the saltier side. I did not end of finishing the beef taco. The street corn was pretty disappointing as well... it was just corn with some cheese on top.. I do like that you can order from the menu through your phone and not have to have a server. You also pay through your phone too when you're done. Unfortunately I don't think I would come back. Unless it was for drinks.

Yelp
Still an avid goer to bartaco. The only growing frustration part is experiencing what I feel is unnecessary wait times. I can always expect to wait for a minimum of 10 minutes. This doesn't sound too bad but it's a annoying experience when there's tables available that they've just closed off bc it's not "that busy". Theses tables/areas aren't reserved but closed. As a customer I don't understand why the additional space can't be opened especially since they don't use traditional waiters and most of my interactions with personnel is minimal when food runners drop off food. Reservations could be the answer but they don't have that either. I'd hope that they look into finding a way to cater to customers in a seamless way when it comes to seating.

Yelp
Me and my brother come to Bartaco all the time when we spend time and tonight Gustavo was so sweet to us! He checked on us all night and made accommodations for us when we had a small wait on some things on our ticket. We felt super taken care of, and we had the best time. Thank you Gustavo for everything!!

Yelp
So. The food. Delicious. The service. Pretty darn good. The QR ordering system...sucks. It has worked 20% of the time....maybe I don't know if it's a savings in personel or if it's just that the owner invested in the QR system and it's not going away. But super frustrating. Orders always come mixed up or wrong. Or dbl orders. Today I finished my meal before my daughter got hers. It's all mixed up. Again. Service and staffs attempt to make it right is awesome. But it feels like they're always chasing a failed system. Good news is they end up comping the missed or messed up orders. So There's that. I do wish the QR code would go away. let's have some more human interaction.

Yelp
Came in for dinner tonight. They have a pretty self service set up. You order everything on your phone and even pay. It makes it super quick which is nice. I got the fish taco and chicken taco. Both very good!

Yelp
Bartaco is the restaurant you go to when you don't have any other ideas. One of my close friends loves this place. Unfortunately, I don't like it as much as she does. The servers are always very attentive, despite managing the busy location. The food is good and tasty, no matter what you order. The drinks are strong but make for a good night out! After trying more authentic taco places and visiting Mexico, I no longer see bartaco as top-tier. Bartaco is somewhere you go with friends as a pregame and for loud, boisterous conversation.

Yelp
Really enjoyed this spot w a simple and clean feel closeish to little five points/va highlands. The guac was fresh and tasty (albeit small) with fried whole taco shells as the chips (nicely salted). Highly recommend the plantains, they are beautifully fried to a deep crisp and come with a delicious crema like herb dip. I liked both my cauliflower and mushroom taco too.

Yelp
The food was fantastic, appetizing, appealing to the eye and stomach. I bought my whole family of 15 kids and grandkids they all was enjoying their food.

Yelp
Such a cute vibe and even better food! A new twist on Mexican food! The chips and guac are so fresh, perfectly salted, and flavorful! I also recommend the tacos themselves and the street corn! You order and pay on your phone so service is minimal but the crew is still very nice! Great vibes all around I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
I think it's a great stop, but only if you're looking for drinks and tapas-feel bites. I'd stop here again for sure. The flavor is there, just not a lot portion-size for said flavor! And maybe that's not necessarily a con if you know what you're in for. The real con, is their take on service. The occasional person was nice, but the initial and subsequent orders had to be placed through a website accessed via QR code, which was a very clunky experience. It even tacked on an extra item that we didn't ask for, or received! I assume it's also the cause of the long wait for the drinks. But, like I said, I'd stop again. The flavor was there.

Yelp
I really enjoyed bartaco! I would definitely recommend and return. I thought the aesthetics were super welcoming. I also liked the concept that they had. You basically pre-order all of your food via a QR Code, pay and then everything comes out as it's ready. Appreciated the fact that we got everything over with quickly and just worried about enjoying our meal and company. Solid location as well. Different establishments around. The food was very delicious. They are small bite tacos and ordering a few is recommended, unless you are just in the mood for a snack.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my visit to bartaco! I'm a little on the fence about relying so heavily on the technology of our phones to order and such - on the one hand, the fact that I could send the order through whenever I wanted was so awesome; there was no pressure, and it was at my pace. This was the first experience I've had like this and I really liked it. On the other hand, my friend with me had so many issues with her phone - and she's got a newer iPhone and isn't a dummy, it was just legitimately a technological issue, and it was stressful. Ended up not being a biggie in the scheme of things, but it did put me on the fence about that setup. The restaurant itself felt super cozy and had a nice vibe. The sangria was AWESOME, I kept wanting to order another The guac and salsa was fantastic, and I liked my tacos a lot. I expected the chicken to be my favorite, but the brussel sprout taco came in clutch! Pricing was great, staff was welcoming, and less than five minutes after you place an order it's out to you. Just a really great experience!

Yelp
I've always loved Bartaco Chastain Park so I suggested to some friends that we meet at their Inman Park restaurant last night. Mistake. The food was pretty much the same as at Chastain. The problem was the execution. A very nice young man explain that we should order on line using the QR code and servers would bring the food to us. And then you pay on line as well. Sounded fine. But . . ., These guys couldn't get the order of the food right. And they couldn't get the food to the table while it was hot. The drinks came out last. Should have come out first. I mean literally last -- after we had finished our food. And after we asked the manager when he came by. Some of the tacos and the street corn arrived before the guacamole and crisp tacos. Guac is the appetizer, y'all. It should come after the drinks. The guacamole wasn't very tasty in any case. The street corn was cold. Not lukewarm, but cold. And it wasn't prepared on a fire with little crispy bits as it should have been. No tajin. It was essentially gringo corn on the cob, allowed to go cold and then slathered with mayo. The tacos were fine. We skipped dessert after the stumbling performance on the rest of the meal. The only thing I can figure is the Bartaco can't hire enough people and everyone was new. Or maybe it was an off night. Two stars says it all: Bartaco could have been better.

Yelp
The vegetarian tacos here are amazing. Service can take a while on a busy night but the food is great.

Yelp
One of the better Taco places in town. Really good ambience and very easy to get reservations. I really like the self ordering system at bartaco, it is simple effecient and makes sure that you get your food promptly.

Yelp
Imagine if Renovation Hardware started a taco stand, and you would be pretty close to what's happening here. BT produces tacos and other snackables with an aesthetic that can only be described as "upscale pacific beach." Look closely, and you'll find some Asian influence in the menu. They have a nifty system where you order small plates from your phone and they magically appear. Wife and I went to the Inman Park location, smashed up in the like, hippest area ever alongside Barcelona, Beetlecat, Fritti, and others. We started with the guacamole, which came out with a few tostada shells to break up and scoop. Guacamole was good quality, but better alongside a salty margarita. The marg was elevated and restrained, a little less sweet that you would find when cheapo triple sec is used. We tore into the tacos, and found them to be sporting good quality meat, with enjoyment greatly enhanced by the three bottles of house sauce at the table. I like the red myself. The energy was really the best part, though. The dining room was packed at 6:30 on a Sunday, with happy conversation all around and solid music playing. It takes a lot to get a babysitter and explore the city these days, so we plan our nights like this. Worth the visit.

Yelp
Showed up for a taco Tuesday with 2 other people and was greatly disappointed . I ordered a few tacos and a couple of margaritas the tacos were fine on the other hand the margaritas tasted like lemons extremely tart. I asked for 1 to be remade since the other had already had a couple of sips taken and was given a passive aggressive attitude by the server who stated he can "bring me some agave to add to my drink myself". I asked again for it to be made over (it wasn't a margarita it was lemons and tequila). He agreed and after about 10 mins they returned with a margarita but this one had tahini floating around in it. We were told that another customer ordered a drink with tahini which is the reason for that being in the margarita. Didn't make sense but ok. We just wanted to enjoy ourselves so my friend just said ok and took it. My other friend ordered an orange crush. Turns out they couldn't make it since they were out of oranges. They offered to make another drink but she didn't want another drink so just asked to refund it. They said ok. So we waited To make up for what was beginning to be a bad experience with the drinks I ordered 2 shots since I suggested this place. The service has been good in the past. After waiting 25 mins I asked about the drinks and was told the bar was backed up (it wasn't that crowded) so I asked for a refund since at this point we were waiting a while and was ready to go This is when I learned they are unable to do refunds until the end of the night. They will take your number and last for digits of the card and text you about the refund that can take up to 10 days. While the seemed ridiculous I said ok and just asked for something showing proof of refund a note, a receipt, a card, just something since I had already paid. The Manager on duty she act like the we were inconveniencing her. She started eye rolling, was rude and passive aggressive cut me off mid conversation and walked off. It was the disgusting attitude for me and it was both the server for our table and the manager I want to be clear It pains me to write this since I've been in the service industry and have respect for service workers I used to be one. But I showed up to bar taco in a great mood and left angry to have received the service we received. Not a single sorry or anything just poor service I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!
