Modern bathhouse offering thermal pools, saunas, steam rooms, and massages

"The Manhattan Flatiron location of Bathhouse is described as nightclub-esque, signaling a shift where steam rooms, saunas and pools share ambience with nightlife, fusing wellness rituals with high-energy socializing and design-forward spaces." - CNT Editors
"For true relaxation, this is one of my top two places to bathe and the epitome of an escape from the city." - Edward Barsamian
"Bathhouse in Flatiron looks like a Blade Runner set, and it's full of people who wouldn't be out of place on a movie lot either, all blowing off steam after a long day. Upstairs, the loungey restaurant is a good place to continue socializing. Sure, there’s chia pudding on the menu, but the food is reliably better and more interesting than your typical, bland spa fare. There’s hard-charred cabbage, and jammy roasted sweet potato with salsa verde and tahini, and it all tastes pretty good paired with a fresh pot of lemon ginger tea. Plus the menu rotates, so you might find something new to try the next time you visit." - willa moore, will hartman, molly fitzpatrick, sonal shah, jonathan smith, anne cruz
"Bathhouse in Flatiron looks like a Blade Runner set—sharp red and icy blue lights—and it’s a social place, filled with groups of friends blowing off steam after a long week. Once you’ve complained about work in a 190 degree sauna, or compared bonuses in the 52 degree plunge pool, the loungey upstairs restaurant is worth a visit. Yes, there’s chia pudding on the menu, but the food is reliably better and more interesting than your typical, bland spa fare. "BATHHOUSE has been a longtime wellness hub for stylish Brooklynites and in-the-know visitors, but thanks to its new second location in the heart of Flatiron, the chic subterranean spa is now reaching a whole new clientele. Fans of the Williamsburg original know BATHHOUSE as the 6,500-square-foot oasis of thermal pools and saunas housed in the basement of a 1930’s brick factory. The Flatiron space, however, takes a more modern approach to its design, transforming the former underground parking garage into a sleek, 35,000-square-foot, 21 st -century bath house and wellness center. The new BATHHOUSE has a total of six pools (two cold plunges, two hot pools, one neutral pool, and one salt pool), a Russian-style Banya, an 800-square foot dry sauna, an infrared sauna, and a steam room. And if spending a day hopping between these facilities isn’t already treatment enough, visitors can book a number of services, including a full-body massage, a hammam scrub, and the Hero’s Journey, which combines all of BATHHOUSE’s treatments into one all-inclusive experience."
