Popular Smash Burger Joint With Love, Always Opens a Second Las Vegas Location | Eater Vegas

"A self-proclaimed hole-in-the-wall tucked beside the Linq parking lot, this kitschy, old-school Italian spot is famous for a fully prix-fixe, multi-course menu featuring Italian classics such as spaghetti and meatballs, lasagna, and veal Marsala, preceded by minestrone soup or salad, pours of house wine, sides of garlic bread and pasta, and finished with cappuccino. The dining room leans into nostalgic Vegas maximalism—red booths, heavy woods and walls crowded with framed pictures, glass bottles, wooden baskets, garlic strands, and wagon wheels—making it a longtime convention-set favorite despite not being heralded as the city's best Italian. After a 50-year tenure, it temporarily closed on June 1 for renovations and is scheduled to reopen on June 23; a multi-course meal starts at $29.95." - Janna Karel

The Old Las Vegas Guide - Las Vegas - The Infatuation

"Battista’s is essentially Bucca Di Beppo with the grit that comes from being a block off The Strip. Every inch of this Italian restaurant is covered in celebrity headshots, old records, and faded tchotchkes. A wedding’s worth of chianti bottles hang from the ceiling. If you can embrace the overt kitsch (and below average food), it’s an ideal place for rowdy group dinners that will still leave everybody with some leftover budget for ironic Penn & Teller merch. Every entree, including a 14oz. ribeye and a chicken parm draped in a thick, leopard-spotted layer of mozzarella cheese, is under $50 and comes with unlimited red and white house wine. We’ll say that last part again: unlimited red and white house wine." - brant cox

This is the kind of place that's So good you don't want to share, but then you know you have to. It's been along time since I've had service so well, the waiter, Christians timing was impeccable, as soon as I finished my salad, my entrée was served. Sebastian was right there with water and very personable seeing I was dining alone on this one. The chicken cacciatore was excellent, all served with your choice of salad or soup, bread, and house wine white or red. I can't say enough about this restaurant because it was wonderful food and service. It is just around the corner from the Flamingo and across from Westin. Oh I forgot to mention the included cappuccino at the end of the meal that as a coffee drinker I was concerned it'd be to strong but it is very light and just enough. It was a great meal, with Amazing service if your in Vegas it's a must stop!! If you make it there, Enjoy!

Our group was looking forward to dining here but it was just honestly disappointing. We had a set reservation time for 730pm, and sat and waited for another 30 minutes before being sat. What’s the point of the reservation? It would’ve been fine but we had a show to attend and the host was RUDE when I asked about how much longer it would be. When we finally did get sat our server ( older male) was absolutely horrible. He took our order and was only seen when he dropped of our door another 30-45 minutes later. We asked him for our bill when the food came since we had a show and when he dropped it off he left without waiting for us to pay, only to be gone another 15 minutes. Our entire dinner he did not come once to refill drinks.. it got to a point we found a water pitcher at a cart nearby and filled our own waters TWICE!! If I’m spending over $200 on dinner I think service should be much better. We didn’t even get the after dinner cappuccino or were offered it because our server was non existent. The chicken Alfredo was gross, 0 flavor on the sauce and hard noodles. The fried calamari was soft and hardly crispy. The salads and Garlic bread were great. The side Italian sausage my wife really enjoyed. The lasagna was decent, but it tasted very dry. Overall after spending over $200 with the lack of service we received and rude waiting staff and sub par food I don’t think I can recommend this place. The vibe is cool but not over $200 cool.

We came to Battista’s with a group of 20 for a birthday party, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish! The staff handled our large group with ease—super friendly, attentive, and made sure everyone was taken care of. The food was delicious and came out surprisingly fast for such a big party. From the pasta to the house wine (which kept flowing!), everything had that cozy, homemade flavor you’d hope for in a classic Vegas Italian spot. The atmosphere was charming and full of personality. Batista’s was the perfect spot to celebrate—great food, great service, and great memories made. Highly recommend it for group dinners or anyone looking for an authentic old-school Vegas experience!

Google
As far as restaurants go this is one of the best places I have been to. They do wine on the house if you get the full meal which in itself is amazing. The soup is to die for and the salad is really good to. Their bread is chef's kiss and the pasta is fabulous as well. I was to full for dessert but I am sure it would have been just as good. The portion sizes are really good and honestly it's a great price for everything you get. Anyone that tells me they are going to Vegas I tell them to come here and I will 1005 find my way back next time I am in Vegas. I loved it so much I even got one of their shirts!

Google
I really enjoyed the food and the general atmosphere of Battista’s. It is a little pricey, but I feel it is worth it for how much they include with your meal. For $40 I got their special, the chicken florentine. Which was fantastic. But the meal also comes with their house red and white wine, garlic bread, a salad, and after dinner they brought us espresso (which tasted more like hot chocolate) with whipped cream. Overall, I loved it.

Google
This old school Italian restaurant is one block off the strip and has been there for several decades. I believe our servers were Angelino and Fernando, they were both very friendly and prompt even though it was extremely busy. The food is excellent and they have the warm bread with oil and vinegar to start, so go hungry. The atmosphere is pleasant and the decor is always interesting with touches of old world and old Vegas Icons. Highly recommend! 🥖🥩

Some family friends were in town and they wanted to make a trip to Batista's. We had a 630pm reservation and that's a must. Thankfully when I arrived there was parking available, the parking lot is fairly small so it could be an issue. We all arrived on time and we were greeted right away. Our table was ready and we sat down right away. Our waiter was prompt and greeted us right away, he brought over a few carafes of wine that were complimentary. The menu is pretty simple and makes for fast turn time. Most of the guys got the Ribeyes and I chose the chicken Parm. Once you order the carts start arriving with your meal components, first the bread which was decent but could have been cooked just a little more. The salads came out right after and it wasn't bad. Not long after the food is out , again due to the limited choices with mixing and matching the food seems to be very Assembly line. The guys all enjoyed their Ribeyes and the sides were a little lack luster. My chicken Parm was ok. The sauce was very sweet and while the chicken breast was a good size it was tough. The cook took a whole breast butterflied it and fried it. With a breast that thick you need to tenderize it and beat it down so it's not tough. Over all we enjoyed ourselves and filled out bellies but I think next time they are in town we'll definitely try somewhere else.

As someone who has visited Italy over ten times and cooks Italian food almost daily, I was really looking forward to Battista’s Hole in the Wall. Unfortunately, it was a big letdown. This is not authentic Italian cuisine—it’s more like Americanized pasta dishes drenched in canned tomato sauce. Everything ended up tasting the same due to the overpowering sauce. The parmigiana di melanzane had barely any eggplant and was mostly filled with something I couldn’t even identify. The pasta with meat sauce was just that: meat sauce with a few noodles thrown in. On a positive note, the service was friendly and very fast, but if you’re expecting real Italian food, you might want to set your expectations accordingly.

Yelp
Stepping into battistas feels like stepping back in time, in the best possible way. This classic Italian spot serves up hearty, authentic fare with a side of nostalgia, making it the perfect place for those craving a traditional dining experience. The red booths, dim lighting, and vintage Italian decor create a cozy, inviting atmosphere. It's the kind of place where family photos, framed black-and-white pictures of Italy, and wine bottles line the walls. The house-made pastas are truly the star of the show. The portions are generous, as they should be, leaving you blissfully full. The complementary wine is not bad for being "free". Coming here is a gem for anyone who appreciates classic Italian cuisine in an authentic, old-school setting. The food is hearty and delicious, the atmosphere is charmingly nostalgic The meal always ends with a cappuccino and full stomach. Definitely my favorite Italian spot in the area. Parking can be iffy during dinner hours!

Yelp
I was excited to go here because we were referred to by a local that the food was half the price and decent. I am comparing it to Piero's. The hostess overheard and responded "W-O-W...W-O-W". Las Vegas is the land of plenty with peak competition. The hostess missed the opportunity to sell us on why they are a local favorite. Hostess failed the test. 1 star docked for poor hostess service. House wine is free with tiny wine glasses. Be careful...they keep refilling it. I would have added 1 star but it was not that great. Box wine at the local market is a better value. Chicken parmigiana portion was large. It comes with a side of pasta and sauce. Although lightly breaded...it was not crispy nor cooked all the way through. The chicken was cooked through. Their was just a lack of texture and flavor in the breading. It should have some crunch for texture but there was none. Always serve cappuccino after dinner. Great whip cream. Overall...great for a cheap meal and quick service. But, that is not why I visit Las Vegas.

Yelp
Visited during the evening without any reservations. Parking lot was full so we thought we'd have to wait a while. Fortunately they were quick and we only waited about 10 minutes. Staff was very friendly. The menus were provided, but they also had the menu written on the walls which I thought was unique. The place was full of people. They brought out garlic bread which tasted really good. I ordered the ribeye which was prepared as requested. Our dinner came with complimentary wine, soup or salad (I ordered the salad), a pasta side and a cappuccino. The salad was basic, as was the pasta side. But the steak was good. None of us really drink wine but we took advantage and it was pretty good. The cappuccino tasted more like hot cocoa (but was still good). Overall you get a lot of food for a low price. It's not top tier but I had a pretty good steak despite the sides. I'd recommend this place for anyone looking for a good inexpensive meal. Lots to grub on.

Yelp
Still love this place! Thought it would be slower during F1 construction but it was still lively, with mostly full tables and a few parties in the waiting area. Great food and service, as always. Plenty to take home leftovers. Can't beat the caraffes of wine they refill as needed. Fun vibe, great for the birthdays going on around us!

Yelp
Service was EXCELLENT! Food was not that great. I have been going to Battistas for years and the last 3 years it has become not as good! Just sort of bland! Friends in town wanted to go on recommendation from their son. Next time, Im picking! They thought food was REALLY good, but they don't have access to Italian food choices. From a Very small Midwest town. Love the old town feel of Battistas!

Yelp
Come with someone for the deal that they offer otherwise you'll have to eat at the bar Ala carte. Hostess at the front wasn't very friendly as first thing she said was without a reservation, nothing until about 1 hour 1/2. The bartender was really good, quick and very on top of things. He is up front with you that if you eat at the bar everything is Ala carte. Had the veal piccata that was very good. The rigatoni that came with it was just so so. I would have preferred some type of noodle as I usually associate italian food with noodles: fettuccine, linguine or spaghetti. Unless it's a lasagna. Spending almost $60 for one dish with salad and 1 glass of their cheapest red wine doesn't seem worth it to me. Here's the breakdown: 4* bartender, 1* hostess, 5* decor, 3* food, 1* food prices.

Yelp
Best food I had in Vegas, and for an affordable price. Eggplant parm was outstanding. Delicious salad, good garlic bread, the wine flowed freely (and the bread refilled), plus fun and tasty dessert cappuccino. All for under $100 for two- including 30% tip! My boyfriend told them when he made the reservation that I was celebrating a birthday and they sang to me and brought a very tasty warm brownie with hot fudge and homemade whipped cream. I loved the ambiance, our waiter Christian couldn't have been nicer. I didn't want to leave, it was a fun experience. I was still full the next morning! If you go, take time to look around at the memorabilia.

Yelp
This place was great. It's right off the strip and easy to get to. It's a really cool place with old photos of all the celebrities who have been there. The service was amazing. The servers were prompt and very attentive and friendly. And the food was fantastic. I had the chicken parm and it was delicious. Everyone in our party loved their selections. From lasagne to eggplant Parmesan (which my friend said was the best he's ever had...high praise). And it's nice that it comes with everything included. Bread, wine, and even a cappuccino after dinner. It's not a fancy dress up glamorous Vegas eatery, but a really cool old school, delicious Italian restaurant with amazing food and fantastic service. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Food, wine, bread, salad all mediocre. The meals are bland. The pricing is absurd, not worth the money in the slightest. You still have to pay $30 even if you're not eating. I will not be back. Service & servers were good!! Everything else, trash.

Yelp
We've passed by this place so many times and it' seems busy all the time so we decided to give it a try. We had reservations for Saturday at 8pm. We arrived about 20 minutes early. We checked in and waited at the bar. Lady at the bar was not really welcoming. We waited a little over 10 minutes to be seated. On our reservation, we requested for a booth and when we were being seated, it was a choice of a small booth in which we will sit facing each other, or a regular booth in the middle of groups which we were warned would be noisy. Obviously, we went with the smaller booth. The dinner comes with wine which neither of us drink so we passed on that - no offer to replace with soda or whatsoever. Garlic bread was tasty. Salad and soup (premade in bulk) were both average that we barely touched them. We ordered the fried ravioli for our appetizer which was good. The portion is more than enough for 2 people. My boyfriend ordered the chicken parmigiana (which came with a side of ziti with marinara sauce on top) - portion was good but it was bland. I ordered the steak caruso - it came with 5 cubes of steak. Beef was cooked as ordered (medium rare), however, with average quality. Perhaps instead of cubes, sliced steak pieces on top of the pasta would be better to hide the quality, Considering that I like my food on the bland side, this was bland for me. Portion was good with a lot of pasta in it. House cappuccino comes with the dinner - we were told it was hot chocolate with very little coffee- it was okay. Our servers were Carrie and Joe - no issue noted, nothing extraordinary with the service either. Joe checked on us regularly. Servers roll carts here and there to bring food to the tables (instead of the norm of using trays). This reminds me of food service in the hospital. The place is a bit dim, lots of pictures on the wall and miscellaneous decorations up to the ceiling. It is SO loud inside this restaurant !!! They use a microphone to call names when you're ready to be seated - and even then, it is difficult to hear/understand the announcement. If you want to enjoy a quiet dinner, this is not the place. I think all couples or smaller groups should be sat in a separate area and not amidst groups. Price may be cheaper than most Italian restaurant on the Strip. However, it is a bit pricey for the quality of food and ambiance, and is not just worth it. Also, the dinner automatically comes with wine, soup or salad, garlic bread and cappuccino - I think that if someone doesn't want any of those, either a discount be given or a substitute offered. No draft beer - Beer and tequila price were reasonable. Modelo bottle was $7.50 I would give this place 2.5 stars but since that is not possible, I am generously giving it 3 stars. As a local, based on the above, I will not be returning to this place as there are many other options in Vegas for a much better experience.

Yelp
Great service from our server Frank! He was prompt, professional and attentive! The food was delicious and the service was better! Thank you Frank! The portions are huge! Love this place!

Yelp
Had late dinner at this place after getting lost from walking. They're about to close but was very happy when they still accommodated us. The server was friendly and clear in discussing the menu. The place was was unique and very interesting. I like that it has so many partitions for more privacy when in group. The free house wine was good, the red was my favorite. The pasta was good, noodles were cooked in perfection and the sauce is not too tangy. Serving size is a lot and pricings is okay.
google avatar

Kevin P.

Yelp
This is a definite hole in the wall off the strip and I would say worth it if you are looking for some easy Italian food! Lots of decor inside doesn't make you feel you are even on the strip. The service was quick and very nice while we were there. If you like wine then you probably don't want to have the house free wine with the meal as it's not great. They do have bottles you can buy separately though. Worth checking it out for sure

Yelp
Fast, friendly service. Great food. I always love this place. This time, we made a 5pm reservation. Parking was easy. They seated us right away. We had wine and water, then order taken quickly. Food was all really quick, and hot. Loved the hot garlic bread. I have the chicken parm and it was delicious. The atmosphere was busy, but easy to hold a conversation.

Yelp
Enjoyed dinner here over the weekend. Honestly, we've been cooking here for 15 years and it brings back wonderful family memories of tasty food and old Vegas vibes. Dishes are served with nice portion size, endless red or white wine at your table and dessert to boot. We enjoyed our pasta dishes, the low light hits you with a feeling of another era. Parking is problematic here, they do have a guard to watch cars, but that is a draw back for sure. Enjoy this hole in the wall.

Yelp
Always great! A Vegas iconic Italian restaurant. Not fancy but makes up in good ol' Italian classic food and character. Had our wedding reception dinner there 9 years ago and we go back every year.

Yelp
Battista's is more than just an Italian restaurant. Battista's is a timeless gem that has retained its charm throughout the years with its rustic décor and exceptional service. You'll find walls adorned with photos of Italian icons and vintage knick-knacks. It feels very welcoming and cozy when you walk in. It opened in 1970 and my husband and I have been coming here since the 1990s. On our recent visit, we made reservations and were seated fairly quickly. Our server, Eric, was friendly and attentive. At Battista's, all dinners include either a soup or salad, garlic bread, a pasta side (we joked with Eric about people that order Spaghetti with pasta on the side), and cappuccino. And to kick it all off, two carafes of wine are brought to the table, one red and one white! I had the Eggplant Parmigiana and my husband had Chicken Parmigiana. The servings are generous so between the main and the sides, we were happy we hiked all day to earn this big meal! No doubt, we will be back!
google avatar

Jan C.

Yelp
You can see why this place is busy. It has a sort of old world, Italian charm to it that is very different from most restaurants on the strip. Unfortunately, we didn't find it to be a great experience. While our server, Doug, was nice, we saw little of him and he forgot an item. He came back once and said "Oh yes, let me get that for you" and then never returned. There was plenty of meat sauce on the spaghetti, but it did not have the robust flavor that I was looking for. The special ravioli was well prepared, but then again, somewhat lacking in flavor. The best food that we had was the minestrone soup, which was delicious

Yelp
This in my opinion is a must stop. Such a fun experience from start to finish...when you walk in you are greeted with so many signs and knickknacks on the walls. I highly suggest making a reservation, because this place is PACKED! There were at least 5 parties of 10 or more that were seated in the time we waited for our table. With a reservation, we waited 10-15 minutes. With how packed it was, completely understandable. Once seated we were happy to find out that our dinners came with unlimited white and red wine. Our server answered all our questions, and everything arrived promptly. Your meal comes with a giant basket of huge pieces of garlic bread and a giant salad. I got the chicken parm and was not disappointed. Portions are massive and you will leave wishing you were wearing stretchy pants. We capped off the meal with dessert...choice between tiramisu or spimoni ice cream cake. The whole meal with the inclusion of desert was something like $45. Y Las Begas standards it's a cheap meal...it's the best deal you will get for walking a block off the strip.

Yelp
I love a good hole in the wall spot - and i'm glad this was walkable from our hotel. The food was so amazing! I tried the lasagna which was really good! Definitely some good authentic italian food! And I loved how your entree included a salad, wine, and cappuccino for dessert! I ate so good that night! The garlic bread was also delicious and the vibe of restaurant was cozy and welcoming. Excellent service too!

Yelp
Old school Italian with a great old Vegas atmosphere. Free wine if you sit in the restaurant. Pro tip: sit at the bar. Everything is $10 cheaper because it doesn't come with the wine, but it's first come first served vs waiting for a reservation.

Yelp
From the moment I walked in the barrel shaped front door I knew this was going to be good. The restaurant is dark with walls covered in pictures and alcohol bottles. The ceiling had decor hanging down from it. Dark red vinyl benches lined the walls with white table clothed tables. This place had the feel of an old Italian restaurant from way back. The menu was unique in that it grouped the pastas into price categories instead of listing individually. Before I was handed a menu the waiter asked if I wanted the soup or house salad with my meal and do I want the red or white wine. This along with great garlic bread is included in the meal price. I went with the daily special, a portobello mushroom ravioli in meat sauce. It was delicious. The portion was just right, enough to leave full but no take home box needed. Everything about the meal was great. The salad was a decent size and the wine was a carafe, not just a glass. Once the meal was complete I was given a cuppuccino that tasted like hot chocolate. I went by myself and with tip my bill came to $43. There were some higher priced meals but what I had was worth it. This was an old fashioned Italian restaurant a block off the Strip in a run down shopping center and it was great! It lived up to its "hole in the wall" name and I enjoyed it! I arrived at about 5 on a Monday and was immediately seated in the lounge. Within minutes I was hearing people being told the wait may be 45 minutes so reservations are highly recommended.

Yelp
What's not to love about an old school Italian restaurant? This place is known amongst the Rat Pack, Marilyn Monroe and old Hollywood for a reason! We come here every Vegas trip and my go to is always the Veal Parmigiana. Included with your meal is tableside wine, bread, soup/salad and cappuccino to finish off your meal. The veal parmigiana is pounded thin, and fried to perfection. Comes with a side pasta and the veal just melts in your mouth. Do not skip on the homemade tiramisu to accompany your cappuccino!
google avatar

Robert M.

Yelp
Very hip NY style old world restaurant with its dark look and celebrity pics wallpaper every inch but unfortunately that didn't carry over with the food. Both dishes we choose were bland, although the salad and bread were a nice touch. Wine carafe with dinner should have been an Italian blend and not Californian, Cappuccino at the end of meal was also closer to a hot chocolate.

Yelp
We were recommended this restaurant on our last trip to Vegas so we decided to try it out. Vintage feel to it which was cool. Loved all the pictures everywhere. They were also very accommodating as we had a reservation for 8pm and were able to move it up to 7. Dianna at the bar was very friendly and answered questions. Recommend the espresso martini. When we were sat for dinner our section was being managed by Julian and Christian. Christian was the "helper" but deserves recognition as he was hustling the whole time we were there. Julian on the other hand definitely forgot about us and didn't take our order, we flagged down Christian and he was very apologetic regarding the lack of service. From there on out, Julian barely came by our table accept to bring our food and our check. However, we watched Julian be very present for other tables in the section. I'm sure they split tips there but Christian deserved our whole tip and deserves to be the head waiter of the section in my opinion. Our food was good, we got the manicotti and chicken parm. For dessert we got the tiramisu which was also very good!
google avatar

Krista V.

Yelp
We had a reservation and were greeted and seated right away. Our server was Julien who was nice and knowledgeable of the menu. With each entree your meal comes with a choice of minestrone soup or Italian salad, garlic bread, free red or white wine, and a cappuccino for dessert. We had the Italian salad which was fresh and delicious. They brought a craft of white and red wine to the table. The white wine is semisweet and red a little dry but both good and Free. I ordered the chicken Parmesan which was huge, it came with creamed spinach and ziti with marinara sauce on the side. The chicken was moist and the tomato sauce tangy just the way I like it. My spouse got the shrimp scampi with angel hair pasta. This was very good and garlicky. The cappuccino was a perfect end to this great meal. We got all this food for less than $100. The service was amazing! The restaurant is a little dark inside. This restaurant has been here since 1970 and it is a solid Italian restaurant! We will be back with friends soon!

Yelp
Cool spot for something different off of the strip. I had the Chicken parm that was served with creamed spinach and a side of ziti with meat sauce (up-charge) and the wife had the special, which was lobster ravioli. Both meals also came with a side salad (excellent) or a minestrone soup. Also a free carafe of red and white wine. I opted for a glass of Prisoner. You also get free garlic bread and a "cappuccino" ...think hot chocolate. Finished up with a slice of cheesecake. We both thought our dishes were good and we'd definitely go back.

Yelp
Fantastic meal. My nephew lived in Vegas for years and recommended Battista's. Had the Chicken Parm and wife had the Lasagna. Wife loved the sauce and she is picky about sauce. Love the look of this place.

Yelp
Not impressed... salad is saturated in dressing, included wine is served chilled and wine glasses are not allowed. If you want a wine glass you must purchase a glass. Food was okay, but overall experience was not good. Will not return.

Yelp
Better waiter yeah this was the worst experience this place is not all that you will have a better experience at Olive Garden the waiter is very rude to us rude. rushed food is served not hot, it was barely lukewarm,so I know it's under code and they charge you $20 to share a plate so you might as well just buy a full plate this was absolutely one of the worst experiences and the manager barely took off one plate and a Shirley Temple off of our $106 bill got charged over $68 for basically eating one bite of food, half of a soup and two sips of wine

Yelp
I've always been curious about this place since I pass by it everytime im in Vegas. I finally came here a few days ago since I was staying at the Horshoe hotel which is directly across the street so it was the perfect time to go. All of their entrees include complimentary wine, bread, salad or minestrone soup and cappuccino. I ordered their chicken parmigiana and my hubby ordered their Creamy Garlic Lobster & shrimp pasta and both were good. Their cappuccinos were on the sweeter side and tasted more like hot chocolate. Ambiance is pretty cool and has that old school vibe to it with pics and decor everywhere Overall we had a good time.

Yelp
Barista's Hole in the Wall is a nostalgic original Vegas Italian restaurant that brings back so many memories growing up in this amazing city. Our waiter was nothing but fabulous! I will always recommend this restaurant, if you're local and especially if you're a tourist. Our food was amazing and the dessert was so delicious too! I highly recommend Batista hole in the wall.

Yelp
This wasn't the best Italian food I have ever had, but for the price and the portion sizes it was fantastic! All dishes come with unlimited wine & bread, a soup or salad, and a cappuccino dessert. We had a reservation and waited a while to be seated, but once we sat and ordered everything came very quickly. The linguine with clams was soooo saucy and had great flavor. The chicken Alfredo was also very tasty. I am not a wine girlie but the red wine was delicious and my family loved the garlic bread. I'd been wanting to try this place for years and I am glad I finally did! 4 meals was $160, that's great for Las Vegas and we had leftovers. I wouldn't push to come here again but I would return should someone want to come.

Yelp
Had this place on my radar and finally made it in on my way out of town after a few days on a business trip. I got in right when they opened and then headed off to the airport. If you're looking for a nostalgic, classic Italian-American dinner, this is the place for you! It reminded me of growing up in the Northeast. The ambience is dark but inviting and, again, nostalgic. The hostess was incredibly cheery and upbeat (manager or owner perhaps?). My server Carrie and the gentlemen assisting her were so prompt and attentive. Menu is simplistic and portions are huge. I got the red table wine, minestrone soup, garlic bread (all part of every meal) and then ordered the Chicken parm which came with a side of ziti. Sauce was a nice, neutral marinara, chicken was huge but tender and really well seasoned. Maybe a tad too much cheese? But it was really yummy, I couldn't even finish it all. I was in a serious food coma after! I also ordered a Negroni or two, which were really tasty. Then ended the meal with a cappuccino (which tasted more like hot chocolate to me, but still really tasty). You can split entrees, but they charge $20. At that point you might as well just get two different meals so you can try something different. Now, was this the most spectacular "Italian" meal I've ever had? Not necessarily. There are a lot of other options in Vegas if you want fine dining, and more traditional Italian food. But again, I knew I wanted just your classic American-Italian, hole in the wall, East Coast kind of meal and that's exactly what I got! I live on the West Coast now and I don't find restaurants like this around as much out there.

Yelp
Second time visiting... The three of us enjoyed our dinner. Fun atmosphere and lots of kitsch to look at from pictures to knock knacks to figurines. Choice of salad or soup with your entree served with garlic bread and white and red wine followed by a cappuccino- which is more like a hot chocolate. Not authentic Italian and not a Michelian award winner but a good meal option that won't break the bank!

Yelp
I loved this place as a card carrying Italian. Their tomato sauce is so good. And the red / white wine kept flowing ! Had to work out extra the next morning but it was worth it.

Yelp
Food: pretty good! Not jaw dropping but at least on par with anything you'll find on the Strip Service: Spectacular. I dined at the bar, the waitstaff is amazing. Ambiance: 1970s Vegas? HELL YES. Seriously. Cannot be beat. Update: Wait I was hasty on the food. The tomato sauce stuff is really good. The alfredo stuff is good but the tomato stuff is stellar.

Yelp
I finally got to eat here, and I had the spaghetti marinara and it was so good, especially paired with the red house wine. So good! The service was warm, friendly, and prompt. And the ambience was like Buca di Beppo for adults!

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. The food has always been amazing but it's really the staff of the atmosphere that keep me coming back. I'm not exactly sure how old is places and I probably should know before I write this review, but it definitely has history at the feel to it. I've made reservations here and definitely would recommend doing so in the future, but there was one time just this past year or we found ourselves leaving the Linq and decided to walk over and take our chances and they were able to get us in with a pretty decent size table for four of us. They have unlimited red and white carafes of wine and I've had multiple things on this menu, but my favorite thing is sadly now all for menu and that was cioppino... Batista's cioppino was my absolute favorite and I always look forward to getting it. Don't let that stop you from coming in because they have so many other fantastic dishes. I also love coming here with people who have never been here before and sort of seeing their reaction to just looking at the walls and then when the food comes how they react how great the food is. Huge fan of this piece of Vegas history

Yelp
There are so many places in Vegas to grab dinner. If you're going for really great quality, something fancy ... this isn't that. But if you want good food and a fun experience at a good price, this is hard to beat. It's a quirky ambiance with each surface covered in memorabilia. Each meal comes with house wine (red or white), minestrone soup or house salad, garlic bread, your meal of choice, and a cappuccino. The two of us ate for $80 before tip which is not bad at all for all you get. We were seated right away and the service was quick and easy. We were in an out of there in less than an hour. I'd go back!

Yelp
This place was fantastic! Great spot right off the strip. It's in between Horseshoe and behind the Cromwell. I'd recommend getting a reservation. Friendly waitstaff. Received the complimentary/included garlic bread and wine upon seating. (You can get refills of the wine!) Ordered our entrees. Really enjoyed the creamy garlic lobster and shrimp (over fettuccini noodles). Total bill (on the Vegas strip) was $100 with tip!

Yelp
Some of the most expensive mediocre food I have ever had.. won't be back.. service is friendly the food is just bland and the wine they pour for dinner is disgusting0.

Yelp
Just popped in two women no reservations because open table showing multiple openings. Guy came up said reservations no Then wanted to seat us in bar between two tables! We went here to support them because of formula 1. I don't need this crap-go broke family! Heading to the Italian club-won't ask two women to sit in corner of a bar for $300 dinner.

Yelp
Stopped in for dinner and glad we had reservations on a Tuesday. It was busy right when it opened. We were seated quickly and taken care of by Christian and Adreian. The wine and bread was tasty along with our order of Veal Parm and Lisagna. The meals are between $35 and $45. Considering the free wine it's really a pretty good deal for quality food and good portions. Followed up with free Cappacinos. Food, service, ambiance, and the history of this place is worth the visit.

Yelp
Great experience. Old school Italian service and menu. Wine, bread, and salad included in the meal. We split an entree and were charged an appropriate $20 cover. It was well worth it for the wine and set up. Classy place with a real mob movie vibe. Love it.

Yelp
Patron here for over 10 years The first time ever, they towed my SUV uoon my return of cashing a ticket at a nearby casino after spending money both here and Stage Door prior. Commerce Auto Towing is a scam. $255.? Dont ever park in this plaza. Get scammed at Caesars Linq parking for $50 instead.

Yelp
Love this Italian spot! Full of traditional decorations w/ lots of history behind them. Service was great! We had a reservation for 4 and were seated right away. We got the red wine w/ our dinner and it was delicious w/ the salmon special I ordered. We also got the lasagna and creamy garlic lobster w/ shrimp pasta. All were amazing! I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
We ordered the chicken parmigiana and the spaghetti and meatballs last night at our first visit, and they were delicious and huge portions. We didn't have to wait for a table, as we arrived shortly after opening. The salad, garlic bread and cappuccino were also good. The staff was very friendly.
