The 10 Best Korean BBQ Restaurants in Houston

"Outside of the retro peacock-feather looking wallpaper, BBQ Garden in Spring Branch doesn’t have all that much in terms of decoration. But what they do have is a bunch of private dining rooms with sliding doors that close about 80% of the way, so you can have your very own exclusive BBQ party. Still, it’s clear that the main focus here is the food. Order one of the combinations, but be sure to at least include the beef brisket and spicy bulgogi. The staff leaves you to do the cooking on the tabletop charcoal grills, but they’re only a quick button press away if you need a kimchi refill or two. " - gianni greene, chelsea thomas

I took my family here for their first Korean BBQ experience and it was fantastic! Our servers are very attentive. I love the fact that they have separate divider rooms to where you feel secluded and have some privacy. Each room/tables have their own separate "call" button to let the server know you need something. The sides are UNLIMITED. The food was great! We got all assortment of meats and seafood. We definitely order too much 😅 but we can always To-go it! Overall it was a great time! Will definitely be back.

One of our favorite Korean BBQ spots! The private rooms make for an amazing dining experience, whether you're celebrating or just want a more intimate meal. And the traditional atmosphere adds another level of comfort. But the real star is the dry-aged meat. It’s flavorful and tender. We always call ahead to reserve the cut, and it’s 100% worth the extra step.

In general, the food was good. The sides were also good but given in a modest amount. I especially love the fried chicken. The batter was crispy and light. The chicken didn’t taste too fatty but could use some seasoning. The staffs were friendly. The atmosphere was nice with private room and sliding door. Would recommend.

The food was great. The lemonade was great. The meat selection was superb. I would definitely go back again. They do charge an extra $2.00 for rice. The service was great.
