Beanmonger Coffee

This coffee place has such a cute, cozy, vintage vibe. The staff is incredibly friendly, and it’s exactly the kind of café I love going to — whether to work a bit, grab a coffee on my own, or share a moment with a friend. It’s a small spot with limited seating, which actually adds to its charm. There are no restrooms, but the coffee is truly excellent. I ordered a cappuccino with almond milk and it was really good, and my friend had a latte that was just as great. A lovely little café with amazing coffee and a warm atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Overall: Would recommend, would revisit. 9/10 1. Only had a cappuccino but it was so good so I’ll drop a 5 star why not. So rich, so smooth. 2. Environment is cozy and clean, extremely small though so I’ll probably just do take outs. 3. Staffs are welcoming and respectable. -sawa

Cute little coffee shop in Brooklyn near a bookstore we came to visit. Artful presentation of the coffee and hot chocolate that we got and great flavors. Recommend!

A small coffee shop. The coffee was very good, I liked it. The shop has a huge window and there are places to sit in front of it. If you have a goal of exploring cafes in Brooklyn, you should definitely come. The employees are very polite and understanding. When you enter, you are greeted by a very casual atmosphere. Little cafe but the brand and logo design are really cute and stylish. Nice to stop by a little bit since not a lot of seats. Cappuccino was a classic. The flavor was in between bitter and light. The foamed milk was not creamy or smooth enough.

First time going to this place and if I was ever in the area, I would go again. The service was awesome, my drink was great, and the decor in the coffee shop was so cool! Big fan! A great amount of seating as well inside + outside.

Seriously this place is unreal. Perfect little coffee shop and almost takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the craze of union street. New favorite spot.

A small cute little coffee shop. They sell candles, tote bags and some other things in addition to coffee and pastries. The staff is chill and nice. There's no restroom inside Beanmonger. I'd go back to chill with a friend over some coffee.

Small quaint coffee shop. Walkable and easy to locate (near the train station). Walked in and it felt homey. They have all the basics and essentially could make whatever you would like. I ordered the mocha latte, hot. Of course they made a cute design! I also ordered a waffle. Quick. Coffee was smooth in its taste. And that is saying a lot from a non coffee drinker (I lowkey don't like the taste of coffee itself). My mocha was just the right sweetness but not too sweet. I appreciated the barista asking me what level of sweetness I wanted prior to making my order. The waffle was tasty I just wish they toasted it or warmed it up. Apparently you have to them tell this? Apparently a New York thing my friend said lol. I'm an out of towner. Though it is a small space there is plenty of seating. My friend and I were super comfortable and didn't real rushed in any way as we caught up. Loved the art work and decor. The baristas were friendly, patient and easy to talk to. If it wasn't so cold we would have sat outside and people watched. I loved my experience here and will be keeping it on the list.

I have not been drinking coffee as much as usual, but was looking for a local coffeeshop in the area, and this place popped up. Cute coffeeshop with a handful of tables. I opted for a pistachio oat latte, one of their winter specials. The coffee was rich and smooth. Service was excellent . They have a small area where they sell merchandise, shirts and coffees.

A small coffee shop offering your standard drinks. The shop is located on the tail end of Park Slope going into Gowanus. There was nothing remarkable about it. If it wasn't cold and I wasn't waiting for a neighboring business to open I probably wouldn't have stopped by.

Cute coffeeshop. I got an iced oatmilk caramel latte which was made with sauce not syrup. Very good! Only downside is there is no restroom.

We must have caught them on a bad day because they were pretty rude and that's just not how I want to start off my day.

Every trip to Brooklyn I have to stop by. I absolutely adore this coffee shop! The workers are always incredibly friendly and welcoming, making each visit a joy. The coffee itself has a wonderful aroma and is consistently perfect. They also offer a variety of fun treats that complement the experience perfectly. Good music, good vibes, Highly recommend stopping by for a delightful cup of coffee and warm hospitality!

Delicious coffee, cute space, and great service. They have a variety of pastries, typical coffee drinks, and some very unique coffee drinks (such as an espresso spritz and coconut americano). They also sell bagged coffee and canned drinks. The inside is small and cozy, and they have nice outdoor seating. My running group (~20 people) came here in the morning and they were very accommodating to us as a large group. We will definitely be back!

Humble, economically sized cafe, the coffee didn't disappoint. It's a snug fit inside, roughly three tables and all filled with folks typing on their laptops. Some additional seating but at best probably could fit four other people. They have beans from several roasters on sale. For their espresso menu, they use Partners. Cappuccino was legit and delicious to drink. Espresso was pulled well and the milk wasn't comprised by overheating. Worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood.

This was such a nice little coffee shop, and the people working were so friendly. Service was great, and if I am ever in the area again, I'd be happy to visit again! Our drinks were fantastic

This block has been long overdue for a coffee shop, and I am glad Beanmonger just opened in this space. Other solid coffee spots close-by are Runner & Stone and Root Hill Cafe, but Beanmonger is perfect because it's right along the way to and from the R train which is convenient for commuters on the way to work. I stopped by today for a cold brew coffee and some pastries. The place is small but inviting, and actually has some comfy tables and nooks inside. They have a few outdoor tables and seats too. It looks like they brew Partners beans. Their cold brew was delicious - I haven't had any of their espresso drinks, but will definitely be back to try. They have an assortment of pastries which they said they source from various local bakeries. Everyone who worked there seemed super friendly. Can't wait to come back, and this place has the potential to be a regular go-to for me.

Came in to the city to visit family and go to a baseball game. Well we stayed in the area and wanted coffee. This shop was walking distance and was so cute inside. Service was great, the coffee was great and we also purchased muffins that were great as well. We ordered a hot Americano, 2 cold brew coffee, a banana chocolate chip muffin, a walnut chocolate chip muffin and a lemon poppyseed muffin.

Beanmonger is the best possible neighborhood coffee shop! Good vibes, the staff is cool and kind, and the coffee is SO amazing. Their espresso is delicious and the cold brew is killer. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Hung out at Beanmonger Coffee on a gray Sunday afternoon. Definitely among the best coffee shops in the area, and if you can secure a seat a nice place to do some work or unwind. Quality: A cute coffee shop with solid drink options and a few small snacks. I wouldn't necessarily come back to eat, but both the Quiche Lorraine and Raspberry Donut were fine as bites. The drinks were very good, I truly enjoyed my rich, strong Latte. Quantity: Drink sizes are clearly listed. Value: $5.00 for a Latte. $7.50 for a Quiche Lorraine. $3.00 for a Raspberry Donut. Ambiance: Beanmonger Coffee is located on the border of Park Slope and Gowanus. It is a small shop with four tables inside and two additional tables outside. They have unique art and pictures on the wall, as well as coffee supplies on display. It is a snug space, so expect to find yourself sitting next to someone reading or working, but it stays pretty quiet outside of a few coffee sounds. Crowd: Busy on Sunday afternoon, expect to find the cozy shop filled. Service: Great baristas, friendly and helpful. Parking: Plenty of parking nearby.

We stumbled upon Beanmonger on its grand opening day on a route we rarely take in the morning. It felt like kismet. Beanmonger is beautifully designed, with custom art from one of the co-owners, and a cozy and inviting interior. The outdoor space is intentionally created to make it easy to tie up your pup and run in to grab a coffee, with lots of spots under the bench to put a leash. Their coffee and pastries were quite good and we really enjoyed trying the egg cream. Part chocolate milk, part seltzer, 100% fun. We highly recommend stopping in if you're in Carroll Gardens, and making this place your regular spot if you live in Gowanus or west Park Slope!

The most tiny little coffee shop. Everyone was working away and the barista was kind and generous. I loved the pumpkin pie latte - totally started my NYC day off right.

Perfect place for morning coffee, right before getting on the R train at Union st. Great coffee, delicious snacks and great service! Very friendly and The atmosphere was so chill with great decor, and I felt like I was at my friend's house hanging out. My daughter got the hot chocolate and loved it! Highly recommend trying this coffee shop, you will be very happy you did!

Best coffee in the area, no question! First, the coffee is really, really good. Both the beans and the barista are truly top notch. I had a cappuccino and loved it! Can't wait to try the rest of the menu. The food is also excellent. I had the quiche Lorraine and will be returning to try more things soon. The decor is awesome, you can tell that they have really through about the vibe that they want to create and they hit it perfectly. The owners and staff are super friendly, and handled my order nice and quick. Big thumbs up from me!

Fantastic new cozy coffee spot in Park Slope. Beanmonger is using Variety Coffee Beans & Partners Coffee Beans so you know you are going to get a great cup of coffee. Good vibes only & chill music. Definitely worth checking out.

I walked by here two days ago. Today stopped in on my way to R train. Nice iced coffee brew. Friendly staff. They have an egg cream on their menu. Will have to cone back to try.

I have been going to Bean Monger Coffee on my way to work regularly since it opened. On some weekends, I can spend more time there and enjoy a great cup of coffee with their different baked goods inside their cozy sitting area. The owners, Jeff and Jeremy, are always on top of their game when it comes to customer service, and this reflects highly on their front-line staff as well. This mom-and-pop coffee place provides excellent coffee and baked goods and high customer service, better than the non-mentioned competition. Thank you for providing a cup of coffee with a great smile and conversation. I look forward to my next visit.

New coffee shop that is perfect for the neighborhood. It is super cute for a nice lunch date or solo coffee date. Great space to do work and their hours are early in case you need a quick cup of coffee.

Very kind baristas who helped me with my choice for a matcha latte! It was pretty solid. I love the vibe here too. Great goodies for sale, and a somewhat distracting outdoor area out front (not great for working--there's a ton of hustle and bustle from Dino BBQ, the oncoming traffic of 4th street, and construction).

Excellent cappuccino. Arguably the best coffee shop in Park Slope right now. Surely a breath of fresh air, compared with the Hungry Ghost chain that is monopolizing the neighborhood.

Adorable new spot. They were busy the first time I went but the line went so quick I didn't even have to wait. My second time back I got a piece of chocolate cake that I definitely recommend and will get again!

Just tried this cafe and I loved it. The ambience is homey, something about it reminds me of my favorite hostels I stay in when traveling. The music was great and it was just the perfect place to sit, sip and enjoy reading.
