Hung out at Beanmonger Coffee on a gray Sunday afternoon. Definitely among the best coffee shops in the area, and if you can secure a seat a nice place to do some work or unwind.
Quality: A cute coffee shop with solid drink options and a few small snacks. I wouldn't necessarily come back to eat, but both the Quiche Lorraine and Raspberry Donut were fine as bites. The drinks were very good, I truly enjoyed my rich, strong Latte.
Quantity: Drink sizes are clearly listed.
Value: $5.00 for a Latte. $7.50 for a Quiche Lorraine. $3.00 for a Raspberry Donut.
Ambiance: Beanmonger Coffee is located on the border of Park Slope and Gowanus. It is a small shop with four tables inside and two additional tables outside. They have unique art and pictures on the wall, as well as coffee supplies on display. It is a snug space, so expect to find yourself sitting next to someone reading or working, but it stays pretty quiet outside of a few coffee sounds.
Crowd: Busy on Sunday afternoon, expect to find the cozy shop filled.
Service: Great baristas, friendly and helpful.
Parking: Plenty of parking nearby.
