Beauty's Bagel Shop

I came in here looking for coffee and saw all the bengal, at first I thought they only served vegans but then I heard the person in front of me order a Lox sandwich. I love lox! So when it came time for me to order I i got the same thing. They have to open face and the closed faced. That just means that the open face has more smoked salmon, I think it’s a Jewish term Obed seen it before. It was delicious I pared it with an Everything bagel. It was so good I had to some back the next morning. This time I ordered a bacon egg and cheese with cream cheese on one side and jam on the other. Soo delicious. Coffee was pretty good too. I would definitely recommend this place.

Top notch bagels which can be customized in a variety of ways for a tasty snack or meal. If there’s a line, don’t let that bother you; the line will move quickly. Friendly staff! Oh, I almost forgot about the good coffee with free refills.

I have visited this bagel shop about once week for the past several months. My experiences have varied from excellent to the occasional attitude session at the counter. This morning was an extreme example of the latter. Theys makes and serves decent bagels and barely passing coffee with a side of attitude.

Well, can't really review the bagels here as I never got to that point. I was going to purchase one when I asked the person helping me since they have Coke, do they have Diet Coke. He said no, and I remarked why would they not cater to us diabetics? His reply was it wasn't his concern and that I could email the management team to voice my complaint. I said, why don't "you" make the note to management that they'll lose sales when not considering diabetics. He said he can't handle this as it was making him "anxious" that I was addressing something that was upsetting him, meaning a complaint I guess. He didn't like that I was directing my complaint to him. He said he has nothing to do with the lack of diet drinks and he didn't care to address this concern to anyone. He just works there. I asked to see the manager, and luckily, he was the manager! Fancy that. There is little hope in this world.... I gave it 2 stars as it does look like a very nice bagel shop, just stocked with uncaring employees...

I really like having my Thursday morning bagel ay Beauty's. They are consistent with their quality...may I recommend the breakfast bagel with chicken patty. I like mine on their fresh salt & pepper bagel. It's downtown so exspect to pay around $10 bucks for this treat. I swear evertime I'm going to refrigerate half and eat the other half tomorrow. (Spoiler alert) Never have.

Classic open-face sandwich is my favorite - smoked salmon and cream cheese on a bagel with house-made pickles and capers. Fried chicken sandwich is delicious too. Everything is fresh and well- prepared, and the bagels are fantastic.

The fact that Beauty's opened a second location and Authentic Bagel Company (so much better) closed is proof there's no justice in life. Or taste in Oakland. If no Authentic Bagel, I'd rather have Henry's back.

The lines for this place would make you think it's spectacular. It's not a bad place. But the breakfast sandwich was good, but not stellar. Bagels aren't toasted, thought that was a given? Small space for all the folks in there.
