Belltown Pizza - Review - Belltown - Seattle - The Infatuation

"The New York-style, greasy-in-a-good-way slices at Belltown Pizza go pretty well with your last beer or hard cider of the night. The relaxed atmosphere also works for when things are winding down—and when midnight rolls around, it’s pretty much guaranteed that you’ll be able to snag a booth. Do that." - Aimee Rizzo

Google
A delicious late night bar with pizza by the slice and great drinks. Dive-y but not too much. Prices are good for the area. No complaints, definitely worth checking out!

Andre D

Google
Great spot for some bar eats! Great atmosphere and service. The drink menu had a great selection of drinks and the bar was well stocked. Pizza was a little doughy and undercooked as the toppings tasted like they were added after the pizza came out the oven (possibly by design?). The wings had a great flavor and the Seattle dog was a must try!

Google
Belltown Pizza is my go-to post-shift stop—quick slice, cold drink, and chill vibes every time. The pizza hits just right after a long day, and Austin and Billy behind the bar are the real MVPs. Friendly, fast, and always keeps the energy on point. Whether you’re grabbing a bite solo or hanging for a bit, this place always feels like a solid end to the night.

Google
Belltown Pizza has raised prices but the quality has gone way down. Noticed prices were up but it’s Seattle so disappointing but not a shock. But the experience was awful. I tried a meatball sandwich and it was almost inedible. The bread was so hard it was like it had been sitting and gotten stale. It definitely wasn’t because of it being toasted because it was not hot. But the worst part was the entire time we were eating the big TV was showing surgery. Like how does a restaurant do that? Who wants to look at that while they eat?

Google
Great pizza spot in Belltown! We loved the 808 pizza and the perfectly thin crust. The jalapeño poppers are also killer! It’s also perfect friendly on the patio which is a huge plus. We experienced very friendly and attentive service and all the food came out quickly. Highly recommend!

Google
I recently dined at Belltown Pizza and had a fantastic experience! The “Husky” Large Pizza I ordered was enormous and incredibly delicious. The Seattle Dog was also amazing and packed with flavor. What made the evening even more enjoyable was the exceptional customer service provided by our server Derek. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. To top it off, we were surprised to find out that there was trivia night happening while we were there. Not only was it a fun addition to our dining experience, but we even ended up winning! I highly recommend Belltown Pizza for delicious food, great service, and a fun atmosphere. I will definitely be returning when I’m in Seattle.

Google
We picked this bar just to drink, their Pizza is good, and serves good garlic bread. Music is fine but the service is very slow.

Google
It was my first time here and it was a disappointment. Pizza looks so undercooked and where is the sauce at??? Pepperoni pizza on the reviews looks so much better.

Yelp
This place is a banger. We stopped for a quick beer and haven't left. Awesome bartender. Fire pizza. Great beer selection. Straight dub.

Yelp
If I could leave zero stars I would! Came here to celebrate the rest of new years and was greeted by a rude bartender. We got a table when we arrived and got in line to use the restroom while our brother in law was in line to order drinks. The bartender nearest to the bathroom was rude and said we needed to get the f*** out if we weren't buying drinks... except he wouldn't know if we were or weren't because he wasn't who we were ordering drinks from. He spoke nasty to me, a woman, and to another woman in front of me, and also to my husband. He behaved like all the nasty mean profane words you can think of. And you can thank him for this review.

Yelp
The pizza is fine; nothing notably good nor bad. Forgettable, even. The amount of flashing TVs in the place is sensory overload, though. I get that you might want to show some sports but literally a whole wall of different channels is a lot. It's decorated all cute for Christmas, though!

Andrew B.

Yelp
Good pizza, nice bartender, clean neighborhood dive. Convenient location, open late, always the right size crowd.

Kendall C.

Yelp
Okay love their food and the fact on football Sundays it's not packed beyond. However my god it seems they don't really want your money when you want to leave. Worst wait was almost 20 minutes and I was practically wa ing my credit card other faces. It's a very regular pain in the ass I guess unless you are a customer the recognize then it's prolly better. I've been in there 12-15 times since January and it's alway frustrating

Yelp
We were recommended Belltown for dinner, but we were let down. We sat inside, tried to order a takeout order and the server who helped us seemed really unhappy to help us. After putting in our order, a half-cheese half pepperoni, we come back home to find an entirely pepperoni pizza. I didn't know if she was unhappy because she was expecting us not to tip (we tipped 20%) just really disappointed to see we had spent a total of $65 on the wrong pizza. We recommend somewhere else if you want better service and/or the right pizza you ordered.

Yelp
We found this cute little bar and restaurant while walking from the Space Needle to downtown. We got a drink and a pizza. Everything was good and the staff was very friendly.

Yelp
Good people! And the slices are always delicious. Also very generous with the peppers and parmesan.

Yelp
Food - the pizza was really really good! I also really liked the cheesy garlic bread. The food was excellent and I would definitely order or eat it again. They also have some appetizers and calzones. Unfortunately they were out of literally most of their cocktail menu that weekend, hence some of the lower score. We got some beers on draft which was fine but I was kinda bummed because their cocktails looked pretty good. They did have some great veggie food options and I think I saw a few GF items, but nothing really that I saw for vegan folks. Service - I think they had 2-3 people working on the Saturday night I went. They had a seat yourself sign but then no one came to take our order so we tried the QR online code, but that was just for takeout or delivery vs. dine in. We had to go flag someone down by waiting by the bar/kitchen. It wasn't too busy (probably around 50% full or less) but they seemed like they really needed more staff for a Saturday. They were very friendly when you flagged them down, just kinda hard to order and get our check. This also kinda impacted my score but I would suspect that maybe I caught them on a bad day? Ambiance - this is, as the bartender said, a bar that serves pizza (albeit pretty good pizza). It's got indoor and outdoor seating, with pups sighted on the patio. It's open air, so no AC. They have a little back area with skeeball and some arcade games that you could miss if you weren't up and walking around. On weekdays it sounds like they sell slices to go too. Very casual, neighborhood bar (with good pizza and skeeball) vibe.

Jenna ..

Yelp
Atmosphere and service were good. Food and drinks were awful. Terrible pie and Old Fashioned was tiny and poorly made. Seems like they're taking advantage of the location and atmosphere.

Yelp
This place has a fun sports bar vibe, but I wanted to like it more than I did. Started with a cider on tap which was delicious and the cauliflower wings appetizer. This was definitely the favorite! Then had a couple of the slices of the day - honestly not great pizza. Maybe a full pizza would have been better? The slices were a little cold and didn't seem super fresh.

Yelp
If I could give 0 stars I would. Gross grimy on the inside, sticky tables and rude ass servers. So absolutely atrocious service. We did not get any attention for 20 minutes. When we finally got someone over they dropped off water and not enough cups and walked away. I nicely asked for another cup and they got all pissy. After 30 minutes, still no service, we kindly ask for menus, they YELL at us for asking for menus and they throw them on the table, finally come take our order, and as I am still reading the menu, he takes the menu out of my hands. I didn't even eat there I felt so disgusted with their service, canceled my order and left after the taking of the menus. Mind you, there is only 3 other tables, not busy at all and they are getting service. Oh! Did I mention? We were the only non white people at this restaurant. So Racist!!!! This was on Thursday 4/25/2024

Yelp
Rude, rude, rude . Our table was half cleaned and we didn't get any fresh water. My friend and I just wanted a quick bite before continuing our day. Pizza was alright beer served in a can. Not coming here again.

Brandon B.

Yelp
Great divey pizza bar. No expectations but a good crowd and greasy pizza! The bartenders are also pretty cute.

Mitchell M.

Yelp
Atrocious service, average pizza, and trashy environment. Rude and slow waitresses that make weak or completely wrong drinks in broken glasses. Then get pissy with you when you ask for a glass that isn't broken. Tables and floors were dirty and chairs were broken. Mostly a personal thing but the restaurant allows dogs inside in case that bothers you. Pizza was good, but not worth it for the price

Yelp
Pizza shop that opens until 2AM around all the bars in Belltown! My favorite was their thin pizza crust. We went around 12AM and they said the kitchen is closing and will not be making full pizza, therefore we had to order single slices. However, we saw people that came in after us and they order full pizzas. Their service is also really slow.
google avatar

Billy B.

Yelp
Ordered online and they got the order wrong. Pizza could be really good if they tried, but judging by the pizza I received, they put their toppings on in hurried, uneven clumps. Bummer.
google avatar

Brad L.

Yelp
Stayed at a Condo above this place and we stop in every time we are in Belltown. Very nice young lady was our server, but we had 3 others stop by to check on us. Game was on TV, couldn't ask for more at a neighborhood Cheers

Stacy C.

Yelp
I paid $16 for a sandwich that had one slice of pepperoni and salami in it. I was starving from traveling all day so I ate it anyway but it was super disappointing.

Yelp
A cute little pub pizzeria in belltown! This was conveniently located downstairs from our condo which was awesome and they were open! Super thankful for that considering the weather was cold and snowy and crappy! Buckleys was jammed packed, so we were pretty excited to try this spot out. Service was a bit slow at first, but we understood. A three man show and a full restaurant with to-go orders constantly coming through. They did an amazing job considering. Our waiter was awesome throughout and we had a great time thanks to him. The food was pretty good. The pizza was good and the Alfredo that I ordered wasn't too bad. The calzone I was told was excellent, every bite was completely devoured. The cheesy bread was super cheesy and garlicky ( love love love). The drinks were good..super strong..I like. It definitely warmed my soul on a cold Seattle night that's for sure. I love the convenience and the service was great. Food is good, we will definitely come back.

Yelp
We were stoked to find Belltown Pizza just below our Airbnb in Belltown! The bartenders were so kind, and they have tons of TVs - this is one of the better places to watch football games in the city. There's lots of bartop tables & a few booths around too, and even an outdoor patio when the weather is nice! The clientele were all sports fanatics so it was refreshing to be in a homey spot to watch Sunday football :) "Sober" (our bartender) was super helpful, funny & welcoming. We ordered a couple fresh hop IPAs (because that's what you order in the PNW) and my god they were delicious! They had a good selection of bourbons & whiskeys, as the owner is a big fan of bourbons. They had probably 12-15 taps so lots of variety to choose from! The food was a little lacking... the pizza was just OK. We ordered a BYO-Pizza with 3 toppings... and they charged $3 per topping that were pretty skimpy too, so our medium-ish sized pizza was like $29!! I was blown away at the price for the quality of the pizza; nothing to rave about & the sauce was kinda bland. All in all, BTP is a great spot for beers & sports.. it became a favorite for a drink & a game, but we were wandering elsewhere for food. I'd come back next time I'm in Belltown just for beer & sports!

Josh V.

Yelp
After 4 visits in 3 months and getting sick 3/4 times I've determined I am not the problem. Call me a slow learner but science demanded it.
google avatar

Candia M.

Yelp
Lively atmosphere and tasty pizza and good beer on tap. What more do you need? Depending on the time of day and day of the week you can watch sports or listen to some tunes. Open late for your midnight munchies.
google avatar

Jamie F.

Yelp
We were in town and looking for a pizza place, so thought we would give Belltown Pizza a try since it was near our Air bnb. The music was a little loud, but was a nice place to enjoy beer and a pizza. My husband and I ordered a large Southern Comfort pizza and it was enough to fill us up. My husband said it could have used a little more sauce, but I found it to be just the right amount. If you're looking for a chill pizza hangout, Belltown would fit your needs
google avatar

Matt N.

Yelp
Went to pick up a pizza to bring back to the room for a late night snack and stayed for a few drinks. The bar has a great vibe and the staff were cool. We had 4 minutes left to order a pizza before the kitchen closes and the staff didn't bitch at all. The pizza it's self was really good. Plenty of cheese and pepperoni with a nice thin crust. It might have been the booze but my buddy and I really liked it and killed the whole pie.
google avatar

Cynthia F.

Yelp
Finishing up a Storm versus Ace basketball game (Storms lost), we hit up this joint, which is bar/pizza place. Good news, you can bring your kid:) that's a big plus! The beer selection is decent, as is seating options. I am a pretty picky pizza lover and I think for bar pizza, this is pretty decent. Way better that cloverleaf in Tacoma. So the crust is good, but please upgrade the cheese, it's like a someone bought a cheese blanket and just laid it on top of the crust. If you love an oily pizza, then get the pepperoni pizza, holy oil! Overall, good experience and very great wait staff!!
google avatar

Pam K.

Yelp
Worst Pizza I ever had! It was reheated and barely any toppings. Warm beer and over priced

Mike C.

Yelp
Awesome place. Picked up a beer and slice of pizza late at night. Easy and quick order and felt taken care of. Highly recommended.
google avatar

Sarah E.

Yelp
Solid food, chill environment and great service. This is a local crowd so definitely a place to go if you are wanting to avoid the weekenders.
google avatar

Theresa L.

Yelp
Ordered delivery. 1 large pizza which seemed ok possibly slightly under cooked. 1 small Hawaiian pizza. Took one bite noticed how terrible it tasted. Flipped it around and notice the posted picture of the brunt crust! Needs less to say I didn't eat any more and had to throw it away! I can't believe Belltown Pizza was ok serving up cancerous pizza!
google avatar

M S.

Yelp
Usually our go to place with some friends from work. Very laid back, grunge type of theme. Music is usually 90s grunge/rock. Couple of pinball games and machines. TVs with sports and stuff. Great place to hang out, eat, drink and BS. Service is usually good and fast. The pizzas are good, variety of beers available, they even have a pretty good selection of hard liquor (including bourbons) on hand.
google avatar

Bailey K.

Yelp
Chad was spectacular. He anticipated what I wanted and is a alchemist with drinks!!!! The pizza was good too
google avatar

Tristen H.

Yelp
Pizza was okay. It had very minimal toppings. My salad was good though! Love the salami that it came with.
google avatar

Allie E.

Yelp
Great pit stop walking around. I stopped just to grab a quick bite. Noticed they sell by the slice and thought PERFECT I grabbed one pepperoni slice. Was honestly good with great cheese pull lol. Service was great! Totally recommend here as a quick stop or just a bar outing. Bar selection was great. Husband had a beer while I ate.
google avatar

Tara H.

Yelp
I've been here a few times. I typically like to order their pizza by the slice. They usually have 4 different options to choose from that change daily. They always have pepperoni and cheese pizza slices available. They also have a meat option and a veggie option. This is a great spot for watching sports games because it doesn't get overly crowded. It is also dog-friendly inside. I'd recommend Belltown Pizza if you want a quick bite to eat.
google avatar

Shammy S.

Yelp
Great ambiance! Good music! Friendly staff! Superb selection of beers! Calzone was wow just wow. Food is super affordable.

S C.

Yelp
Ordered meatballs unlike advertised as 4 it contains only 3. And also don't order from DoorDash they will tell you they didn't received order from DoorDash and make you pay upfront again. Horrible and a big fraud.
google avatar

Moana S.

Yelp
Not very tourist friendly. The waitress took my friend's debit card and left the building, while the owner was rude to my friends for being upset. Fortunately the waitress brought back the debit card, but not without the owner telling us that "accidents happen" and that they were "lucky". Are you kidding me?
google avatar

Christi D.

Yelp
Incredible pizza with even more amazing ownership! Brian is very simply a rock star. He went out of his way to help me with my dead battery by taking me all the way out to Ballard to get a new one then installing it for me!
google avatar

Suzie N.

Yelp
Our server was quick and efficient! Pizza was good and the beer was great! We had the pesto ravioli which was good but there was too much sauce. Pizza was good!
google avatar

Andy W.

Yelp
A really good atmosphere, helpful and kind servers, and reasonably priced for a pretty good pizza. The garlic cheesy bread was covered in garlic, which makes this guy love it. On the pizza, generous amounts of cheese and pineapple, which for some might be a little bit much, but again it, was amazing. The crust was our favorite part and forced us to eat up the pizza. If you're doing a concert across the street at the Crocodile or Madame Lou's, make this part of your trip.
google avatar

Jeff B.

Yelp
I absolutely love belltown pizza it's one of my favorite pizza spots in the city. Love to order by the slice here and always ask for it extra crispy. The daily combo and veggie slices are usually my go to. Service is great. The atmosphere is fun. It can be loud but that's part of the experience. Absolutely recommend belltown pizza!!

Anna C.

Yelp
ordered a couple slices of cheese pizza to go, expecting some new york style deliciousness -- however what i was served would be better described as "mediocre style." the ingredient ratio was super off in a way that honestly strikes me as really egregious, with the slices being made up of 90% melted cheese and a near undetectable amount of sauce and bread. only reason this place gets two starts instead of one is that the staff seemed nice and maybe their other flavors suck less then the cheese does

Jennica E.

Yelp
Delicious! The wings were hot, crispy, tender, and the mango habanero sauce was perfectly sweet and spicy. Highly recommend.

Eric S.

Yelp
Delicious! I love their meatball sub, our party also got ravioli and the kids got spaghetti. No leftovers! The service is great, too. We're thoroughly impressed. We'll definitely be back, and next time I'm trying the pizza.
google avatar

Darrell C.

Yelp
Cool people, great vibes, awesome late night pizza and drinks. Maddie is amazing, attentive and considerate. If you need an after club snack, go here!

Sarah W.

Yelp
I don't think I've ever had servers so intentionally rude to me. From the moment we walked in it was like they were inconvenienced to do their literal job. When we asked a question that wasn't on the menu (like how big the pizzas were) the server said "sounds like you need more time" and walked away and never came back. Was served the wrong drink in a broken glass and got attitude when asked to remake it. When we were very obviously done, they walked past us multiple times and never checked on us. Eventually a guy server who had just gotten there saw us very obviously not happy, checked on us and brought us the receipt. Pizza was okay, but if you want your servers to actually show you any ounce of politeness and minimal service, I suggest going somewhere else.
google avatar

Kevz S.

Yelp
Horrible service at the bar. Ignored by the three bartenders to the point I lost interest in ordering food and providing any additional m revenue beyond 1 drink order. Failure owner
google avatar

Jack P.

Yelp
It's a real shame the service here is consistently horrid. They actually make a decent New York slice and are open late, but the staff are downright hostile at times if they're not ignoring you completely. Tonight, with more staff in house than patrons, I waited 5 mins at the bar before even being acknowledged; then another 20 mins for a single slice of pizza which never came. When I asked for a refund, the bartender who "served" me mocked the situation and literally threw half what I paid at me out of her pocket; I then had to ask for the rest, which she threw on the floor in front of me. She was prompt in coming outside to continue harassing me as I paused to write this review before leaving. Definitely will not waste my time with this place again.
