The 24 Most Fun Dinner Spots In Seattle - Seattle - The Infatuation

"Maybe it’s the EDM DJ sets playing on every TV, but Bellwether feels like a meat-fueled party. Everyone is here for a good time, from big groups piling into booths to solo folks. And while the meat options are nothing exceptional, it’s the hot bar that makes this CID spot worth a visit. Grab as much purple rice, chicken wings, chow mein, and cheesy corn as you want—all without having to flag down a server for the 10th time." - aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley, gabe guarente

Went to a Korean BBQ spot and really enjoyed it! The food was delicious everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful. The salad bar was also solid and had enough variety. Service was great, and considering it’s all-you-can-eat, the price was very reasonable. We paid around $80 total for two people including tip, and it even covered dessert like ice cream. Definitely worth it , would happily go back!

Loved my AYCE BBQ experience at Bellwether! They offer a generous selection of meats and sides, and everything was absolutely delicious. The staff was incredibly helpful, making our dining experience smooth and enjoyable. This place is great value for money and perfect for dining with a large group. Here’s how it works: 🥓 Pick your protein 🍺 Order your drinks ($1 refills!) 🥗 Grab your sides from the salad bar 🤩 Enjoy a fantastic time!

Wow! Great food and above and beyond great service! Ming was our server and her cooked the food for us and was super attentive. You can tell he loves his job and our party of 6 agreed he was the best server we ever had. He is also the manger we found out. This place is such a good value for the options they provide. The salad bar has amazing fried chicken. Every time I go there I am always a satisfied.

Google
Neat AYCE bbq place that is conveniently located in Chinatown! You can order as much as you want and they have a bar where you can pick your veggies and sides. I especially like the chicken wings out of all the sides they offer.

The AYE grill is under Happy Lamb 🐑 and is owned by the same people. Clean place, K pop atmosphere. Salad 🥗 bar was replenished frequently with an assortment of hot and cold dishes. Dessert was limited but after eating all the meat 🥩 my server did offer me 🍦 which wasn’t at the bar.

Google
In a city that shocks me more and more in terms of pricing, Bellweather is a breath of fresh air. No hidden fees or sunrises, kind and attentive service, everything is clearly communicated upfront, and you leave happy and satisfied. Is it the best Korean BBQ I have ever had, certainly not. Will I be returning, absolutely yes. The quality and quantity for the price is truly awesome.

Google
It was all good once we finally got seated; something new for us was getting veggies- sliced onions, mushrooms, & soda. Banchan was good. I'm pretty sure I could've asked for more. The person asking for our proteins was helpful as well as the need for a replacement grill. Highly recommend the spicy lamb (not offered at other places) , garlic beef, marinated bulgogi. Lots of choices. All in all it was a good experience and we were very full.

Google
I really enjoyed our dinner here. The atmosphere here is inviting, food is great—-best bulgogi beef short rib I had, and the service is AMAZING. Their staff is super friendly, attentive and helpful. Our server Jason is the best, not only did he helped us with food and cutting, he also fixed our check issue even we already left the restaurant. I am beyond impressed. My husband and I are from Chicago, we are just here for a short trip, I am so happy we tried this place, definitely want to come back!

Yelp
Bellwether offers amazing variety for a reasonable price! I love how there is a sides/appetizer bar AND I can scoop my own rice! The meat quality was exceptional. We opted for the premium option that includes the wagyu and it was really delicious. The Marinated Hand Cut Short Rib was probably one of the best pieces of Short Rib i've ever had! The texture when you first bite into it is unreal I couldn't even tell that it was beef at first. Their pork belly here is the best quality I've had in Washington for sure. The pork belly was super tender and had a perfect fat to meat ratio. Many other places the meat part of the pork belly is usually dry but not this place! Their pork belly is juicy all the way through. The American Wagyu didn't stand out to me as much though. It might be more worth it just to get Option A+B instead of paying $10 extra to try the wagyu in my opinion! However everything was delicious and I would definitely come back again.

Yelp
Food - High quality meats, with a wide selection of kbbq to pick from. Food tasted great. Service - Service is fast no matter what time of day. May have to request sesame oil if it's not available at the sauce and sides bar. Ambiance - Very upbeat / high energy place. Usually playing edm or kpop music. Well lit and can seat large parties.

Yelp
Bellwether is one of the BEST bbq in Seattle! Each time I come the food and service is phenomenal!! Sometimes there is a wait but just join the waitlist ahead of time and you'll be fine!! The self-serve sides/drinks area is very tasty & fresh! Really great qualities of meats as well! Definitely coming again and recommending to everyone I know!! Great price for great food and a great time!!!!

Yelp
I want to start with the quality of the sides and sauces. Very subpar. The sides and sauces were not very flavorful and kind of bland. They do have a hot bar with fried chicken/eggrolls/taro balls/corn cheese which were great! The quality of the meat was also pretty good as well! I just think that the lack of sauce and quality of the sides took away from the meal. Service was average, it was quite hard to get a hold of the server and they would forget a lot of our stuff. The space is nice and spacious! I love that they played some good kpop during my meal. Wouldn't come here again, but I'm glad I tried it!

Yelp
We had a great time eating her with our group! This place is really set up and caters well to large groups! We ordered one of the larger options that came with a variety of meats. All of the meats had great taste. The sauces and chili powder provided were great as well! The only negative was the "buffet" everything on it was cold & looked stale (like the eggrolls & chicken wings) but we had more than enough food with our order and didn't need to supplement with the buffet. The service here was great! Everyone seems to work as a team, various people refilled our drinks and frequently changed out the grill. We were at the height of the dinner rush and service was great! We enjoyed dinner here and we'll be back!

Yelp
Had a great experience at Bellwether BBQ & Grill in Seattle for on a Saturday night! We chose Option A at 8 pm and were seated right away. Loved this option--it was the lowest tier but still had our favorite meats, and the quality was great. We appreciated the buffet line with extra bites like egg rolls and desserts, which added a nice variety. We only did two rounds of meat, but the portions were perfect and satisfying. Overall, a fantastic spot for KBBQ with good value and tasty options! The inside can fit quite a few people. Bellwether has a lively atmosphere! A couple of people were celebrating birthdays, and the staff joined in with music and a sign to make it extra festive.

Yelp
The meat we ordered was pretty good. The stir fry noodles available at the buffet counter and the corn cheese were also good. We ordered more meat but somehow the waitress didn't get right and so we didn't even get to enjoy a 2nd round. They gave us a "discount" but it was pretty much just tax. For how much we paid we should have had a more enjoyable experience. The service sucks and it wasn't even busy. There's way better kbbq places.
google avatar

Yelp
The inside is festive with K-pop music videos playing and can get pretty loud. The service is attentive in that the server will swap out the grill grate when it becomes too sticky or charred. ACYE Asian BBQ includes banchan and the food bar that has vegetables, fruit, dessert, fried chicken wings, fried egg rolls, and some other hot food items. You can order up to 4 items from the ACYE menu at a time and there's a good variety of meats on the menu. The meat quality is not the best as the cuts are tough and the marinated galbi was too salty. It's a fun place to dine if you are looking for a festive atmosphere and ACYE Asian BBQ and food bar, but don't expect the best quality meats as you would get if you were going to a Korean BBQ restaurant and paying a la carte for the meats.

Yelp
What an experience! My husband and I had a fantastic date night at a Bellwether BBQ & Grill. All you can eat? You bet we came hungry! As we entered the restaurant, we were warmly greeted by friendly staff members. We arrived just 30 minutes after they opened, allowing us to snag a cozy seat by the window when it wasn't too busy. Once we were seated, we were promptly provided with two cups, a pitcher of water, and our banchan (Korean side dishes: kimchee, potato salad, spicy cucumber, fish cake and bean sprouts). Our server gave us some time to go through the menu, and since it was our first time there, we had a few questions. Thankfully, our server was knowledgeable and offered some excellent recommendations. The Food Selection Process We decided to start by checking out the food bar, which boasted an array of desserts, soup, and sides like fried chicken, chop chae, buttered corn with shredded cheese, white rice, and more. After scouting the food bar, we were eager to order our choice of meats. The restaurant allowed us to order four different types of meats at a time. Here's What We Tried: Thin Sliced Pork Belly - 10/10: Delicious, but needed a bit of salt and pepper for extra flavor. Marinated Short Rib - 10/10: Flavorful and perfectly cooked to our liking. Spicy Marinated Octopus - 5/10: A bit too chewy for our liking, and not as enjoyable as the other options. Tiger Shrimp - 7/10: Rather plain in taste, but easily enhanced with salt and pepper. Lamb Shoulder - 8/10: Great flavor, especially when paired with the accompanying sauces. Beef Brisket - 7/10: A bit fatty, but still tasty. We expected a thicker cut, though. Marinated Garlic Chicken - 8/10: Great for the Garlic Lovers! Packs a punch with the garlic flavor. After our meal, we couldn't help but plan a return trip with our friends. The variety of choices offered at the restaurant is perfect for a group outing, providing a fun and interactive dining experience. We can't wait to come back for another round of delicious food and enjoyable moments with friends!

Yelp
This is now the 2nd kbbq restaurant that I have been to that has a buffet of sides and accompaniments. I'm so glad I was able to get as many items as I was, especially because there were kids in our dining group. Some of the items available at that bar include: fruit, fries, dumplings, lettuce, chicken wings, etc. I had my lil one with me as I went down the line and she was more than happy to let me know what items she wanted to give a try. Our waitress was nice and all but the one that helped us the most was probably one of the expediters or back of house or kitchen staff runners. He not only spoke Spanish but he was very helpful. He was shocked we spoke Spanish so fluently. He didn't need to say it. I knew he was surprised because we were Asian-American. I explained that I worked in an industry where speaking Spanish was very helpful. So, there was that. We had nice, short conversations with him as he'd come and deliver things to our table a few times in that night. We were seated quickly and our banchan was brought out faster than anything. Our waitress was friendly and social but things were on a different level because of ou newfound Spanish speaking runner/server.

Yelp
first time here and i was impressed! we did all you can eat and had access to the whole salad bar - there was a lot of variety, unlimited cheesy corn and the fruits were so fresh and good!! worker were consistently checking on us if we were ready for the next round and changed out our grills plenty of time during our stay. they were really fast with bringing out the items as well!! i really liked that fact that the vents were within the grill and not going up in the air like other places.

Yelp
Moving to Seattle from California was a culture shock. I went from a place with all you can eat kbbq on every other street to a place with no good all you can eat kbbq for miles. Luckily, Bellwether opened and it rivals the quality of some of the best kbbq places in California! I feel like this place is more of a Chinese bbq than Korean bbq which I liked since the flavors were distinct compared to regular kbbq. The variety of meats is a bit less than some other places but the quality of the meats is amazing. My favorite meats are the American wagyu, the marinated short rib, and the pork jowl because I love fatty meats. The Wagyu was super tender and had good marbling. The marinated short rib was extremely flavorful. And the pork jowl had a nice snappy texture. One of my favorite dishes was the crispy lamb shank which surprised me since I don't like lamb; however, the lamb shank here had no gaminess and it tasted like beef. The skin was crispy and fatty and the meat had that sticky silky texture since shanks have a lot of collagen. I would come here just to eat unlimited lamb shanks it was that good.

Yelp
My husband and I found this place about 6 weeks ago, and fell in love with it! We have since been back 2 times with our 9 & 11 year olds, who agree it is their favorite restaurant! The food is amazing, the value is great, and the service is fantastic! Ming is always very kind and goes out of his way to make sure everyone is having a great time! When we went to dinner last night, he even informed us that they will be lowering the price this week, which means we will be going even more often now! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Bellwether, a Korean BBQ spot that offers an extensive all-you-can-eat experience. The standard menu boasts a diverse selection of beef, pork belly, and seafood, while the premium option, priced at $45.98, elevates the dining experience with offerings such as American Wagyu, ribeye, beef tongue, and short rib. The exceptional quality of the meat, particularly the ribeye, garlic beef, and short ribs, sets Bellwether apart from other KBBQ places in Washington. Despite the American Wagyu being a bit tough, the overall buffet experience is remarkable. Diners can personalize their meal by selecting from an array of enticing side dishes at the buffet table, such as corn cheese, tteokbokki, fried chicken, egg rolls, and more. While the side dishes receive a fair rating, the highlight of our meal is the complimentary ice cream, available in chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry flavors. This addition contributes to the overall satisfaction of the dining experience. In summary, with its exceptional meat quality, diverse offerings, and the opportunity to customize your meal with delightful side dishes, Bellwether stands out as one of the KBBQ spot in Washington state.

Yelp
Bellwether is fantastic in any weather!! A Chinese-owned KBBQ place that recently opened up in the International District, we walked in the first time and there were complimentary snacks and tea in the waiting area. Once we got seated, there was a whole sauce/snack bar near our table that was filled with choices of vegetables and sauce as well as fried chicken and corn cheese all-you-can-eat! We chose the standard "choice AYCE" deal, which was $35.98 per person. Some of the meats we ordered were Black Angus Marinated Beef, Sliced Pork Belly, Fresh Squid, Octopus, and Garlic Beef. The cuts of the meat were high quality, I thoroughly enjoyed every order we got! Combined with the amazing food bar, the value of the all-you-can-eat paid off really well! The service and environment of Bellwether were also something to acknowledge. The servers were very attentive to our needs and did not shy away from having a conversation with us. The overall energy of the restaurant is typical of what you would get from a typical KBBQ restaurant, would 100% recommend others to try it out!

Yelp
This is an Ayce place. We did premium ayce, which has the wagyu beef. The place does not have a lot of parking underground, so you need to be creative to look for street parking. The waiter only allows 4 orders at a time. They offer an awesome corn cheese by their food station. Also, It is hard to waive /call for a waiter since they're always moving around. I liked their kalbi marinated beef. You can also ask for seafood with two different option for the marinade. We also ordered shrimp and mussels.

Yelp
Very disappointed with my experience. The Maps listing showed this restaurant was open until 12 AM, so I drove all the way from Shoreline, arriving at 10:20 PM, only to be told they weren't taking any more customers because bla bla issues like electricity issues, training program, festival coming up. The staff offered me 15% off if I came next time, but honestly, it doesn't make up for the inconvenience. If the hours change or there's an issue, it's the restaurant's responsibility to update their hours or notify customers. Wasted my time and effort for nothing.

Yelp
My group and I went here on a Saturday and it was quite busy around dinner time. I recommend calling to make a reservation if you have a large group. We got the choice AYCE selection for $35.95/person, which also includes the side bar. Gratuity of 18% is automatically added to the bill for large groups. The quality of the meat is decent but the texture was too frozen and dry for my liking. It seems like there wasn't enough oil on the grill so the meat will sometimes stick to the grill and leave a residue. I don't know what the issue was but over half of the time, the meat had a charred taste even when it was cooked just right. I wish the meat had more flavor. It was just lacking even with the sauces provided. Besides that, the side bar was a nice addition. I really enjoyed the cheese corn and ddulboki as well as the side dishes. At the very end, they offered complimentary ice cream cups (vanilla, chocolate or strawberry). Despite how busy it was, the staff checked up on us regularly and responded promptly. While we were here, there were multiple birthdays celebrated here. The staff would come out and play a birthday song and bring out a sign to wish you a happy birthday. The ambiance of the restaurant was lively, although a bit loud. They would play live sets of edm music. I love edm personally but thought it was a bit distracting and made it difficult to have a conversation. Overall, it was a good experience. Next time I would like to give the premium option a chance.

Yelp
the banchan is insanelyyyy good and the beef belly is probably the best thing to get here. servers were all on top of it and very kind. we also got ice cream at the very end :3 my only complaint is that it was oddly quiet when we visited which made the ambiance a bit unnerving. lmao idk but still worth it i had the best food coma afterwards.

Yelp
This restaurant shares the same owner as Happy Lamb Hot Pot and is right next door. The service was as good as any other KBBQ spot, but I really enjoyed the ambiance. I think this place is more similar to yakiniku than KBBQ with the grill type. The grill type made the flavor of the meat more smoky, which I love. The meat also cooked quickly, but we had to be careful to not let it burn. It was really difficult to grill the marinated meat, since it stuck to the grill (and it was really salty) so we didn't order more of it. All the other meats were really good though! There was also a side bar (sadly not pictured) that provided some veggies, fruit, little desserts cakes, and my most favorite part: corn cheese! My friends and I also loved the side dishes that were set out, we even asked for some extra cucumbers! Having BBQ with friends at Bellweather was a great experience, and we were also given ice cream at the end of our meal. I would definitely want to come here again, and try hot pot next door too!

Yelp
I'm not usually an atmosphere girly as long as the food is good but the environment here really dulled my experience. First, the staff was very inattentive; it was difficult getting a hold of them to order more meat or ask questions about the menu. They were also blasting a European DJ set through the speakers and on all the TVs. Parts of the set included flashing lights that really should've included a seizure warning. The food itself was just okay. I was a bit baffled by their banchan which included the standard mashed potato salad but it was smothered in mustard for some reason. The other dishes were just ok, like usually fish cakes are my favorite but they tasted rubbery. They also had an additional sides bar where you can grab your own rice, corn cheese, and other veggies for grilling. The meat selection was good but the quality was mid, especially compared to other kbbq spots in the area. Mostly paid street parking in this area. You should be able to find a spot within a couple blocks. There are some parking lots but you have to pay a lot more for them so I don't think it's worth it.

Yelp
I have been coming to this place for quite some time now, since September of this year! Here are the things I would highlight from Bellwether: Ambience: I would give this place more of a 4/5 when it comes to ambience. They do play loud music that is a bit harder to hear other people at your table. However, if you come on your birthday, they do come and sing you a song and it is pretty cute! The place is very spacious and fairly clean. The bar is fairly clean as well, and they are usually refilled quite often with fresh ingredients and sides. You can order drinks or you can get a sodas cup with free refills. The only downside would be the grills. They are a bit small for larger parties and more ideal for parties of four for one grill. The servers have to coat the open grills with an oil to make sure the meat doe not stick, but they have to do that frequently since this happens often. Sometimes they have the grills that are used at traditional KBBQs. Additionally. you can also request seating that is a bit closer to the side bar since some of the booths require you to maneuver around the restaurant and booths to get to the side bar Food: 5/5, this place offers AYCE Korean-inspired BBQ that is equally as great in my opinion! (ran by the same owners as Happy Lamb Hotpot located upstairs, which are Chinese owners!). The meat selection is wonderful and it split into a premium menu that includes American wagyu and a regular menu that has really great options as well. The angus beef and beef belly are the ones that you must get if you are here! In addition to the meat menu, you will find chicken and seafood as well. There is a side bar that you can get veggies such as onion, carrots and lettuce, as well as chicken wings, noodles and soups! They rotate their soups and sides though, so it would not be the same all the time. If you like to eat your BBQ with sesame oil, you do need to request that with the server! Service: 5/5, the servers are very attentive and they are quick with orders! I never had an issue with calling for someone. Overall I have been impressed with this place and have been coming back here a lot with family and friends. They have deals going on throughout December and also some Groupon deals, so take a look!

Yelp
This kbbq spot is good but it's not great. As the newest Kbbq spot in the Chinatown international district I was pretty excited. We came here on a Sunday night around 8pm. No wait, we were seated and all set to order. We all got the premium ayce experience and for the price, I'm not too sure it was worth it for us. I've had some pretty good kbbq and this spot, I would say is mid-tier for me. Meats were just ok. Complimentary sauce bar, cheese corn, veggies, and some other items were good. When we went, the staff was taking break so there was a long amount of time where we had a hard time finding a waiter/waitress to help us out. Overall, a solid new kbbq spot. Glad we tried it out.

Yelp
This will be your new go to Asian BBQ spot! The manager Ming let us know that this is Asian BBQ and not strictly just KBBQ since they offer meats and selections that are not normally offered at KBBQ places. I love the vibe of this place, the fun music, and the vents that suck the fumes down below and not above, help you not leaving smelling like you left a bbq spot, we all know what that smells like and it seeps into your pores lol The quality of meats and the service here is truly unmatched. We ordered the premium AYCE and we got the wagyu and Ming was nice enough to cook it for us because it was our first time here and so we didn't mess it up! They also cooked the lamb for us. I loved that they offered us suggesstions like putting the chili flakes on the lamb while cooking or bringing us samyang when they saw us eating our pork belly. It's those little details that truly count and do not go unnoticed! On the premium AYCE you can get a crispy lamb shank and man, was that a hit! So crispy yet so soft and just fell right off the bone All the banchan here is so good, the kimchi is one of the best as well as the cucumbers and fishcake which are my faves! The salad is good too! They also have a self serve bar where you can find other snackies - the wings were SO good and crisp, there were also egg rolls. They also had stuff for grilling over there as well - cheesey corn, peppers, onions, mushrooms, I liked that they just had it right there instead of having to ask.' They also have self serve fountain soda which is a huge win for my soda loving boyfriend lol All in all, it is an amazing, high quality experience, and you will feel so well taken cared of here! I will be taking all my friends and family members here. Special shout out to our amazing server Justin who made all the recommendations for us! As well as Ming who helped cook for us and was so kind! PS. You get Haagen Dazs icecream at the end, like wow

Yelp
Five stars for all you can eat! Parking spots are very limited. Not very Korean for the dishes, but the meat quality is good. The staff there are friendly. (The seafood pancake is not very Korean and not good. Please don't order it.)

Yelp
If you are looking for one of the more solid AYCE barbecue restaurants in the Seattle area, I can let you know that your search can come to a pause as Bellwether BBQ&Grill is a great place to fulfill that want! I've been to Bellwether a couple of times, usually on Fridays, and I feel the service quality has gone up a bit every time. Bellwether is located in Chinatown, and parking can be difficult depending on where and how much you are willing to pay for parking - everything from streeside to parking at Uwajimaya (you'll have to get some groceries to make it worthwhile). There is a free parking garage underneath the restaurant, though it definitely fills up quickly and is a bit cramped. You can get on the waitlist at the entrance of the restaurant when you first walk in. Service is fast - there might be a wait if the restaurant is especially busy, but usually you'll get a table quickly even when there are 2-4 parties ahead of you on the waitlist. The AYCE is $40 - which I think is a good deal if you have a large capacity, as it opens up the base menu with additional appetizers and desserts at the bar. Service is continuously good throughout the whole experience, unlike other AYCE establishments that I have been to, where service continuously dips after your 2nd order. The appetizer bar has chicken wings, fruit, soup, and many other options you can get while waiting for your order. The quality of the meats is good, and the grill itself is powerful - you can get many orders of meat in during your visit as your meat cooks in minutes. One thing that I would really recommend is the spicy lamb shank - flavored strongly with szechuan spice, tender on the inside, and slightly crispy on the outside. We ordered this thing almost every round as it was so freaking good. Also, you get a complimentary small ice cream cup at the end when you are paying your bill, which is a nice touch! In terms of price, quantity, and price vs other restaurants in the area, I personally think that Bellwether does it best. Quality of the meats is good, flavor and service is fast, and the flavor is great. I can definitely recommend Bellwether BBQ&Grill as a great place in the Seattle area to engage in a BBQ AYCE!

Yelp
For some reason I thought this was a Korean BBQ place. The sauces provided were not typical Korean BBQ sauces; although you can request for samjang. Banchan was ok and the meat was fine. I think I went there with a different expectation. Honestly, if you're looking for an All You Can Eat BBQ, its good but its not a traditional Korean BBQ joint.

Yelp
Bellwether is so good! The general environment alludes cozy yet comfortable feel as you eat the bbq. Although technically Bellwether is Chinese owned, they still the deliver the quality of good food and vibes of a typical kbbq restaurant. I visited this restaurant with my friends and we had to wait about 10-15 minutes to be seated. While we were waiting, at the front waiting area they offered several complimentary snacks and drinks. We got to our table and nearby our table was a food bar that you could get other food to eat with the bbq. I constantly went back to get their corn cheese and I got several of the chicken wings, which were all you can eat. We also got the regular all you can eat and the meats were pretty high quality cuts! I found my time at Bellwether to be very enjoyable and our server was nice and attentive to us. If we had any questions or needs she was able to serve us. If you're looking for some place yummy and delicious with a good vibe, then go to Bellwether!

Yelp
The menu was full of varieties! We could order 4 kinds of meat at once. The bar was full of all kinds of ingredients and vegetables - we especially enjoyed the corn cheese. Staff was attentive and friendly. When we tried to cook for ourselves we felt it was difficult and the grill was very dry for some reason. Then we asked the staff for help and they cooked for us. They had to spray oil onto the grill several times though. Overall good variety of menu, spacious seating and tables, fun music, and the environment was clean. But due to the grill being too dry, we could not really enjoy the meat qualities. There was a little garage on Weller St for Bellwether and Happy Lamb. Unfortunately, I could not find a spot there anymore and I had to pay at another parking lot due to it was all packed on the street parking on a Monday evening.

Yelp
The first time I went it wasn't as good but the second time we had changed out the grill to the normal metal grill, and I feel like it was a lot better without the Smokey taste (idk maybe it's preference). I really like the variety of meat options and the sides, I also like the complimentary snacks and tea at the front.

Yelp
This is a top notch experience. Our waiter Kelvin was one of the best servers we have had in a long time. The food keeps coming and the service is non stop. We are out of towners but I can guarantee next time we come back we will be coming back and asking for Kelvin.

Yelp
I love this new AYCE KBBQ spot in Seattle's International District! All the servers a quick and really really friendly. They place electronic music inside on the TV screens and thats my vibe! They have parking under the restaurant, limited but free. Premium AYCE $45.98 Choice AYCE $ 35.98 We went with the premium AYCE and I found that it was well worth it, all the items we got were on the menu were so good. We got the Waygu, ribeye, thick pork belly and crispy baked lamb shank. When we went they didnt have the bone in short rib because they said they replaced it with the wagyu and had not corrected the menu yet. The meat tasted really fresh and the grills gave it that great char flavoring. They have a self service side bar that is included which had chowmein, rice, soups, lettuce wraps, desserts, spring rolls even crab rangoons! ( i hope they add some sauce for the spring rolls and rangoons). They also have a self service soda machine, which is great because you dont have to wait for a refill. At the end they give you a creamy popsicle (mine was coconut). I truly cant wait to go back.

Yelp
Quality of the meat was really good! I recommend getting the premium choice of meats. The cuts were fresh and beautifully marbled. I love that they have a self serve bar with fresh vegetables, sauces, drinks, desserts, and corn cheese in small muffin tins that you can place directly on your grill to cook. We went during peak hours on a Friday evening so we expected there to be quite a wait time to be seated however they use the virtual wait list through Yelp so I added my name to the list about 15 minutes before we arrived and we were seated within 5 minutes. The service was very good throughout the delicious meal so I will definitely be coming back often.

Yelp
The newest KBBQ place in Chinatown international district! We went during soft opening and received 20% off our AYCE. We ordered the choice set which includes a good amount of meat options to choose from, as well as a few cooked food options, such as the steamed fish. We ordered brisket, thick pork belly, thin pork belly, bulgogi, and the steamed fish. Our first few orders of brisket was very good so we kept ordering more, but the quality dropped off in our later orders. The pork belly stayed more consistent. The bulgogi was just ok. I liked their premade dipping sauces but love creating my own. There is no extra charge for the sauce bar, which not only has sauces, but also desserts, fresh fruits, vegetables, Korean rice cakes, cheese and corn, and chicken wings. They refill decently often so you can look forward to hot selections. You can also get unlimited soda and lemon tea. Service is quick and they are nice, helping with cutting and grilling meats as well as taking orders frequently. There's even a small parking lot beneath the restaurant for free 2 hour parking. I would overall rate this place a 3.5, but rounding up to a 4 since it was just their soft opening.

Yelp
Very good ayce kbbq place! We got the premium which we thought was worth because you get some thicker and nicer quality cuts of meat! A little pricey but there's a groupon right now that you should get! Recommend: Wagyu Beef tongue Don't recommend: Pork jowl Beef belly (too fatty) It also comes with a little appetizer bar with things like chicken wings, fruit, soup, rice, and lettuce. I would come back and primarily just eat the wagyu Service is also great! 4 stars because we didn't enjoy all of the cuts, and it is a little pricier.

Yelp
This place is NOT GOOD! I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS Visited on: 10/20/24 I was visiting Seattle with my family last weekend, and to end our trip we decided to come to Bellwether BBQ & Grill. It was the worst decision we made on this trip. They started out strong with the quick and happy service in the beginning, then it really went down hill from after placing the first order. As our food started to come we realized that they were bringing us food we did not order, and not enough space for the stuff they were bringing to us. After the first order came, we never saw our server again!!! The self serve sides bar was also terrible. The rice had brown spots in the pot, and the sides were labeled wrong. The chicken wings had a weird yellow oil inside that I have never seen in a chicken wing before. The cheese corn was just out stacked on one another. For the meats, this place does not have a good variety for what they are charging. The customer service at the end was terrible because they just kept giving us excuses why they weren't serving us. My family got sick from this place the next morning on our way back home. I HIGHLY SUGGEST NOT COMING HERE.

Yelp
I love this all-you-can-eat BBQ place! The $39.98 price is a great deal considering the quality of meat we get. My favorites are the American Wagyu and ribeye, always fresh with great flavor after a quick grill. I can't get enough of the marinated short rib and premium beef belly either, although watch out for those flames when grilling the beef belly! If you love grilled seafood, don't miss out on the grilled fish fillet(spicy), it's already cooked, so there is no need to grill it again. It's served with a perfect sauce coating on the fried fish. Additionally, this dish comes with some sliced grilled potatoes. I love putting the potato slices back on the grill to make them extra crispy. The marinated octopus and garlic mussels are another must tries. The garlic mussels are rich and flavorful with that blend of butter and garlic. And the octopus with spicy sauce delivers just the right kick. Despite the limit of ordering only four items at a time, the service here is fantastic. And the food bar is stocked with all different appetizers and veggies. The staff is always friendly and quick to help with anything, including changing grill pans. Plus, the little birthday singing performance from the staff adds a special touch to the overall dining experience.

Yelp
I was a fan :) It's kind of a mix of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean BBQ which I'm not complaining about. The grill itself was grated so you could get some nice flavor and char on the meats. We got the CHOICE and it was during soft opening so the price wasn't too steep. My favorite was definitely the brisket and thinly sliced pork belly. The beef belly was good too but a little too fatty. Probably one of my new favorite Asian BBQ places in Seattle now (aside from Ishoni) especially for AYCE. My only complaints were the long long delayed wait to get seated and the very loud and fast rave music they were playing. You can tell they're just getting into the groove of things as sometimes they would bring us the wrong cut of meat and they also ran out of ice cream pretty early on, but overall it was tasty and I would come back.

Yelp
This review comes from a perspective of a Californian who has eaten a LOT of good KBBQ. Bellwether is an improvement on my low bar for Seattle KBBQ because most places are actually this place is not great but it is good if you have a solid cook. The sides are higher quality than the meat I would honestly skip if you're used to nicer or typically high quality meats This would be good for Seattle natives who really want a lot of meat aren't aren't super picky. Service is good, very attentive and we got asked often if we needed anything. The place is new so kinda clean but just uses YouTube to play EDM sets which is very hit or miss depending on what you want to vibe out with. Thick Pork Belly Beef Belly Angus Beef

Yelp
This new AYCE K-BBQ spot in Chinatown is currently in soft opening with a 20% off discount until 07/20. The restaurant occupies the space beneath Happy Lamb Hot Pot that is spacious with ample tables. Reservations are accepted and dining has a two-hour limit. The BBQ menu has two options: Premium ($45.98) and Choice ($35.98). If opting in to Premium, all Choice items are included. Premium has eight items and the Choice twelve. Four can be ordered at a time. We went with Premium and tried a variety from both sections. Quality of the meat was good and well-portioned. The Crispy Baked Lamb Shank under Premium was my favorite. Premium also lists Kimchi Comrak that is a lunch box of rice, kimchi, Korean fish cake, and vegetables that is shaken up in front of you and served. By default, the table is set with four banchans and salad. Both AYCE comes with unlimited access to the soda and food bar. The food bar had a wide selection of accompaniments (raw vegetables to grill or use to wrap the meat), appetizers (spring rolls, crab rangoon, tater tots, chicken wings, corn on the cob, and tteokbokki), side dishes (fried rice and stir fry noodles), and dessert (chocolate cake, coconut cake, and fresh fruit). À la carte dishes are Seafood Pancake ($9.99), Grilled Sea Bass ($9.99), and Crispy Baked Lamb Shank ($10.99). The business is not yet actively advertising themselves as they are still adjusting the dishes and gathering feedback from customers. I uploaded the menu that is subject to change by the time of their grand opening. Service was friendly and exceptionally attentive, frequently stopping by to adjust the heat, assist with grilling, and taking additional orders. The front counter had complimentary drinks (plum juice and lemon tea) and snacks (Asian snack packs of barbeque-flavored chips). There is dedicated restaurant parking in the garage below but has little spots and is tight to maneuver.

Yelp
Bellwether I think is our favorite KBBQ spot in Seattle right now. It's AYCE, and they have a ton of options, and it's not too expensive! It's your typical kbbq spot with TVs playing kpop which is always a good time. There's a whole buffet-style type section with veggies you can grill, fries, rice, mapo tofu, dessert, and more. The service is pretty fast, and the meat quality is great! We particularly love the kalbi, and the garlic steak is great as well. Def recommend coming here with a bunch of friends who are ready to feast.

Yelp
Came here with some friends on a Monday night. It was not too busy and the place was well decorated! One part I loved was the side bar. Definitely put there to help people fill up on carbs, but I was not mad because the tater tots were amazing!! We got the premium course and the meats were pretty good. I loved the kalbi short ribs! The meats were great quality, but the only thing I would suggest is ask for the meats without salt or salt on the side because there was a little too much salt on the wagyu. They also give free coconut ice cream at the end of the meal which was pretty good too. Our server was great and very attentive and fast. Overall, I would come here again!

Yelp
I accidentally went here while trying to go to Happy Lamb upstairs, but decided to wing it and stay to dine. I wasn't disappointed at all! The food is great, especially the brisket. Some of the meats were a little too salty, like the bulgogi, but everything else was great. What really stood out to me was the amazing customer service. The wait staff was incredibly attentive and would switch out grills very often.

Yelp
Came for the soft opening and was thoroughly impressive by it. For $45 in premium (20% off), the meat quality was pretty good. There was lots of variety in both the premium and regular options. I really liked how they had "other" dishes like the grilled fish! Was so surprised it was a while foil pan precooked and flavorful. The bone in short ribs was perfectly flavored, not too sweet and not too saucy. The beef belly was delicious, I don't think I can go back to pork belly or even brisket now. The staff was all very friendly. They were able to speak to the food and answer questions. The entrance reminded me of Haidilao with the snacks and drinks in the waiting area. The ordering style was 4 dishes at a time, which I liked how they didn't skimp out on quantity per dish. We were able to eat and control how much we ordered, while enjoying it. I'll be interested to see what else they do as this place gets more popular. Wish the sides in the bar were a bit fresher, but maybe it's because not many people were here. Similarly, I wish they had more dipping sauces like sesame oil. Their house sauce was great though! They just opened a week ago, so they're doing pretty good! Great deal and option to have in international district.

Yelp
Love it, it was delicious and a fun atmosphere. Great for groups. We all enjoyed the birthday celebration and the staff were so kind.

Yelp
Overall great value and authentic KBBQ feel. They are open late, play loud Kpop, and off lots of drinks to complement the meat party you'll be having. The wait staff was hustling and provided excellent service even though they were packed late on a Friday night. Highly recommend the marinated short rib and the beef tongue as those were our favorites, paired with a big glass of Asahi + soju. Don't forget to hit up the buffet. You'll find rice, veggies, desserts and some other late night treats (crinkle fries).

Yelp
Holy cow this place is phenomenal. This is probably one of the best, if not THE best kbbq spots I've been to in Washington. I came here on a Thursday evening and got seated right away. You scan a QR code to access the menu and we chose the Choice option (instead of premium). There is a self service side section that includes a lot of delicious stuff. Such as potstickers, cucumbers, fruits, kimchijigae, tater tots (my personal favorite) and many more. We started off with the beef belly, pork belly, angus beef, and sausages. The beef belly and pork belly - oh my god. Suuuper flavorful and delicious. Had to get another round of those two! The angus beer was a little too chewy but still good. Ambiance is nice. Modern feel with a lot of edm playing in the background lol. Service was pretty good. At the end of our meal, we got free ice cream. Would definitely come back. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Came here with a few friends and overall had a good experience. We came for dinner on a weekday and it wasn't too crowded. There are 2 choices for AYCE, regular and premium (which has a few additional items like wagyu, beef tongue, etc). We opted for premium, and I found everything to be pretty good, but not really amazing either. One special item here that they don't have at other KBBQ places is the crispy baked lamb shank, which comes out precooked. Self serve side bar was just meh. They had some things like seaweed salad and cheese corn IIRC. Seating is comfortable and service is decent. However the grill is pretty small so it's hard to cook a lot of meat at once, which kind of worked out since we ended up eating more. The flame at our table also kept going out, which was kind of annoying because we had to call a server over 4-5 times to get it fixed. They do have garage parking, but the lot is extremely small and very hard to get in/out of. Would recommend just finding street parking instead. PSA ask for ice cream at the end!

Yelp
This place was alright in terms of value, but lost a few points in some areas. When you walk in, you're greeted with a pretty sleek renovated restaurant, with bar vibes up front and many grills. The layout is very smart, easy to navigate around as a patron (and I imagine as a worker), and roomy. My overall impression was that they seemed to emulate a higher-end restaurant, but wasn't quite hitting the mark for me. - Our grill 'died' 3 times (Something got clogged and had to get cleaned, but it kept happening) - One of the times another person came by to fix it, they ended up just turning the grill to max to brute force the fire to stay on, which made us burn the food a little (harder to eat and cook at the same time), but as soon as we went to turn it down, it died again. - There was all you can eat, and the bar had a great assortment of side dishes! - No free drink with all you can eat feels kind of disappointing - There are appetizers and free snacks/some tea if you wait in line (which you kind of are forced to do if you have a party less than 5), which is pretty nice, but at the same time it's probably a ploy to get you slightly more full before the AYCE. - The seating area at the front while waiting has air vents pointed straight at you so you will freeze if you're waiting; bring a jacket - Our server was super nice - The meat itself tasted good, I don't really have a refined taste enough to judge higher quality meat or lower quality. We ate a lot and were really full after, so mission accomplished there. I think it's overall a good place to go to if you want some AYCE at a decent price.
