The 11 Best Indian Restaurants In Artesia's Little India - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Being a new Indian restaurant in Artesia’s Little India can be a tough gig, but Bhookhe makes it look easy. This colorful spot on Pioneer Ave. specializes in Rajasthani cuisine with a massive menu of over 80 dishes, including gravy-like makhana curry, lentil stews, and a dozen-plus desserts. There’s a lot to parse, which is why we suggest getting the $23 maharaja thali. The hubcap-sized platter arrives with over 21 different bites on it, from dal and three chutneys to dry and curried sabji. Three buttery rotis (wheat, millet, and corn) for dipping, plus a glass of buttermilk, come on the side. The menu categorizes the meal as “something for super empty stomach” and it’s not a lie. Plan for leftovers." - nikko duren, brant cox

The Best Indian Restaurants in Artesia | Eater LA

"This Rajasthani restaurant just joined the scene this year. Bhooke’s vibrant interior — bright orange and yellow walls decorated with images of Rajasthani dancers, musicians, and more — stands out when walking along Pioneer Boulevard. Inside, expect dishes like pyaz kachori and dal kachori, which are crunchy and stuffed with either onion (pyaz) or lentils (dal). There are also three types of thalis available, and bread options include bajra ri roti and makki ri roti, made with millet and corn respectively, and harder to find than chapati and naan." - Virali Dave

Google
Went on a first date here - we both wanted to try out the restaurant because we'd read or heard about it. I had the maharani thali and she had the sartaj thali. Both had very high quantity of food, so kinda glad we didn't get any appetizers first. Each thali cost 23 bucks, before tips and taxes. Mine had three different curries, including kadhi and masoor dal, and a couple of pretty-hard-to-break batis alongside rice and aloo sabji. The two pickles were pretty good. The sweets weren't very tasty. Her thali had a couple of rotis and a paneer dish, plus some curries and sweets and pickles. Each thali came with a salty lassi-like drink which was pretty good. The food was hot when it first arrived, but it's so much quantity that it would invariably go cold by the time you are half done, and then it wasn't so enjoyable. The place was empty when we got there at 7pm, but pretty crowded by 8. There are a handful of spots behind the restaurant to park your car for free.

Google
Even though I don't have much background on Rajshtani cuisine but I loved the Maharaja Thalia. 3 different kinds of lentils were my most favorite. Not sure what their name was. Bit expensive at $30 per person but very well done though.

Shawn S.

Google
Fantastic Indian restaurant with lots of options. The most popular item is the Thali, a whole bunch of different items made for a great personal meal. The variety of flavors is authentic and satisfying. The restaurant is fully vegetarian. The staff are friendly and interior is very clean.

You can’t go wrong ordering anything here! Their Daal Baati was amazing, and you have to try the Ghewar and Malpua! Hands down one of the best Indian food I have had in the US!

Gaurang M.

Google
Bhookhe is an awesome Rajasthani restaurant with great daal-baati, if you like that dish. They also have great kachori. We got the Maharaja plate, daal-baati and vada paav. The Maharaja plate was great, but their bowls were small. So you have to ask them to bring refills more often. Over the weekends they are busy so that would be challenging. Parking is on the street or at a lot nearby.

Ah, Bhookhe Ethnic Cuisine in Artesia, California – what a delightful discovery! Stepping into this establishment, one immediately appreciates the pristine cleanliness and inviting ambiance, a perfect prelude to the culinary journey ahead. My recent visit was nothing short of splendid; the food, from the first bite to the last, was remarkably tasty, bursting with authentic flavors that transported me straight to the heart of India. What truly impressed was the lightning-fast service, ensuring that our eager palates were never left waiting, a testament to their efficiency and dedication to a seamless dining experience. Bhookhe truly delivers on all fronts – delicious food, swift service, and a spotlessly clean environment, making it a must-visit for anyone craving an exceptional Indian meal.

Lots of choices. 1st Rajasthani cuisine I've been to and it was good. Very prompt service and free bottled water.

Maharani Thali fed me like a king, but breaking the baati felt like a royal challenge! Food: The restaurant delivered an authentic and flavorful Indian dining experience, with a mix of traditional and rich dishes. - Maharani Thali: This grand platter was worth every penny, offering a hearty and fulfilling meal. The portion size was generous enough for two people if paired with appetizers. The dal and sweets were excellent, maintaining an authentic taste. However, the baati was a bit too hard, making it difficult to break, which could have been improved. - Shahi Paneer: This dish was the star of the meal—one of the best paneer sabzis I’ve had so far. The gravy-to-paneer ratio was perfect, with a well-balanced blend of spices and sweetness, making every bite satisfying. Service: The service was prompt and attentive. The staff was courteous, ensuring a smooth dining experience without long wait times. Ambience: The restaurant’s ambience reflected a traditional yet elegant Indian vibe, making it a great place for a sit-down meal. The decor and overall setting enhanced the dining experience, making it feel both warm and inviting. Pricing: The pricing was justified for the quality and quantity of food served. The Maharani Thali was a great value for money, given the variety of dishes included, and the Shaadi Paneer felt like a premium dish worth its price. Overall Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐½ (4.5/5) A must-visit for lovers of Indian cuisine, offering flavorful dishes, generous portions, and good service. A slight improvement in the baati’s texture would have made it a perfect meal.

Yelp
Food Tikki chaat - Flavorful and good portion for $9. A decent kick. 4.7/5 Samosa - Another flavor bomb full of a potato pea blend. The mint chutney banged and the tamarind chutney was solid. 4.8/5 Garlic naan - This is the best garlic naan I've ever had. Garlickly and delicious. Perfection. 5/5 Mango lassi - Balanced and delicious. Elegant. 4.8/5 Service 4.5/5 Ambiance 4.5/5 Overall, this is near perfect Indian food full of flavor. I can see why it's on the Top 100 LA list. Some of the best Indian food I've had. Not too pricey either.

Yelp
We came to Bhookhe on a Friday evening and street parking was difficult to find. The restaurant itself was about half empty and seating was prompt. Service was friendly. Ambiance was basic. We opted for the Bhookhe special curry (fox nut), the Sartaj (thali), gatte curry (gram flour), and falouda kulfi. Flavors of the dishes were nice, however the fox nut curry was overly sweet and the various thali dishes were a bit bland. Our favorite was the gatte curry and their naan. Dessert was solid.

Yelp
The foods great and the portions are enormous The maharaja thali is enough for 3-4 people. Especially if you order other things. The bati and dal were really good. It comes with three types of bread too. All tasted really good and authentic. I thought the dal was good too. The thali comes with a bunch of chutneys and even green pepper pickle which was delicious The pani puri is really good - the chutney and water are really flavorful I liked the dabeli too. The potato filling was really heavily spiced but it was pleasant The servers were really kind and the food came out pretty quickly

Yelp
Delicious food! We got a platter to share with 3 people and the garlic naan & Baigan Bharta eggplant curry. Favorites were definitely the Baigan Bharta and garlic naan. They were so flavorful. The platter had 3 different curries, several breads and sauces to dip them in. I loved how they all had distinct flavors. Definitely had lots of leftovers afterwards that we packed to go! Service was quick, and we were able to get seated quickly. We parked on the street in front (parking free on Sundays woo).

Yelp
Terrible service! Grumpy waiter took our order after a long wait. We asked for dessert that didn't have nuts as that's what he came for and he said everything had nuts - what a restaurant in California that doesn't offer nut free options?! We got an unsympathetic "sorry" but on further inspection of the menu there were ice creams that were but free that could've been suggested. We ordered chaat. Sev puri and pani puri were too similar. Sev puri was not on flattened puris. Kulfi faluda was not in a glass as expected but served as ice cream. Not greeted when we walked in or left! Walls are decorated nicely. Honestly the awful service is off-putting. Makes me wonder about the high rating on Yelp.

Yelp
I don't know how this place made it to the LATimes best list. I can name dozens of vegetarian restaurants that are much better and within walking distance of this one. I was there for lunch on a weekday and I was one of 2 people. Service was okay but the food is bland - a real disappointment. Interior decor is okay.

John A.

Yelp
great food, attentive staff.......unique .Most Indian vegetarian places offer South Indian veg fare ( which we love ! ) Was refreshing to find this establishment offering North Indian veg food. The Vada Pav was amazing ........ so was the veg Manchurian, and Chole Battura.

Yelp
My first trip to Little India, to try one of LA's 101 Best. My first Rajasthani restaurant, and wow, what a treat! The Maharaja Thali seems like the best way to try the most food. You get rice but also lots of fried things, like bati balls and makka and bajri roti which are rare finds. The chutneys are amazing, and I would just eat them as dips, but they do also pep up the dal. Three deep bowls of dal include gatte ki sabji, kadhi pakoda, and dry sabji. I don't know which is which, but one is smooth, one is smoky, and all are good bowls of comfort. There are also a few little sweets too, little balls and squares with a silky texture that taste like they were rolled in condensed milk. Lots of apps for trying, be sure to share so you can order more. Pyaz Kachori is new to me, and I love the flavorful filling. BEST Samosas I've ever had, highly recommend! Pani Puri take a little work, but I always order them when I care because they're fun. They cover every flavor and every texture with soft potato, sharp onion, sweet tomato, crunchy bits, and fragrant leaves of cilantro. Dunk and fill with cold mint water and eat immediately. This is a lot of food for two people but we didn't waste a single drop. Some dal made it home with us but otherwise we practically licked all the plates. I can't comment on authenticity (because I just don't know), and I have no way to compare, but I'm pretty sure Bhookhe is awesome and would be hard to beat.

Yelp
Friends recommendation on trying one of top 101 LA restaurants of 2023. The area is house of other Indian/vegetarian restaurants. Parking is free exactly in front but just for the first hour. Inside is inviting and the decor is Indian. Did I forgot to mention this restaurant is Indian/vegetarian? Mainly because most of the dishes are vegetarian. Spices are mild but can be spicy upon special request. There's several options of curry but all does not come with rice. Each customer is given a small bottle of water Order Maharja platter (most popular item), kadahi paneer (one of most popular curries) but request to be super spicy, garlic naan, pyaz kachori appetizer. The platter is huge for one person because it comes with three different curries and various of dishes while one plate has a dessert (according to the server). The kadahi pannier has onions, peppers and tofu and looks spicy when request to be super spicy. It's spicy enough to tickle your throat but not enough to burn you if you love spicy food. The kachori appetizer is fried, comes with two different sauces and has savory flavor. Overall, if you like Indian and vegetarian, recommend on trying this out

Yelp
One of my favorite places in Cerritos in the little india area . They are only authentic rajasthani food. They have gatte ki sabzi . They gluten free bajra and makhi ki roti. Do the thali for the experience its amazing two people can easily share it . The kachoris were good . Service is good attentive and will suggest . It's clean their kitchen is small and weekends get super busy . Love the fact they are using recycled paper trays.

Erica L.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the waiter was amazing! I will be coming back soon! Thank you

Yelp
My second time here and opted not to do the LAT review items. I am not a Kachori Chat person so will just say not my thing. I ordered the Palak Paneer and it was very good. The 'cheese' cubes were large and the spinach curry flavorful and creamy. My friend's Baigan Bharta was smoky as advertised and not my thing however the spice kick was great. My garlic naan was awful. It seemed like it had been warmed up. Reheated with a fresh coating of garlic oil. Blah. I suggest that management develop a new method of providing water to folks. The little tiny bottles are not large enough and environmentally a negative. They can get delivery in big bottles and serve water out of pitchers like other places. The small bottles do not encourage me to order traditional Indian drinks as they are just too caloric for me and then I would order less food.

Yelp
My husband and I came to Bhookhe on a Sunday night in late October. I'd found Bhookhe while browsing Yelp and thought it looked great, and our experience here matched my expectations. Bhookhe is located on a Main Street in Artesia and there is ample street parking in nearby residential areas. We didn't have a reservation when we came in around 6 pm, but were seated immediately as the restaurant was only about half full. Ambiance here is simple and casual. A waiter brought over menus immediately. One unusual thing I observed was that they served us small bottles of water rather than tap water in cups. My husband was starving and wanted to order a lot of food, but the waiter counseled us against the amount we were about to order (a first) and told us to order less. We got four dishes, which still ended up being a lot of food. We shared the aloo tikki chaat, and the aloo puri as appetizers. For mains, my husband had the garlic naan and malai kofta and I had the maharani thali. I can say without a doubt this is the best Indian food I've ever had in the US. The food was bursting with flavor and super filling. Prices were also quite modest. After I ate here, I was already planning my next visit and telling my friends about it. Looking forward to coming back.

Yelp
Every dish was flavorful and substantial. The freshly grilled kabobs were juicy as well.

Yelp
I went all the way to Artesia to try this restaurant which bring authentic Indian Rajasthani food culture to here. In fact the decoration brings the vibe and even plates is traditional style made out of leave. They have a lot of options on the menu, plus they have Thalis which is good so you get chance to try a lot of items. I tried maharaja thali and Sartaj thali. I just blown away from the flavors it brings in mouth. If you want to really try rajasthani food, this is the place. My favorites is dal bati, pyaaj kachori and their kadhi. This place is busy on the weekend, but their service is faster though.
google avatar

Karen F.

Yelp
Actually ate next food, but we decided to pop in and try something her; omg so spicy. I don't even know what we ordered as the rest of my party picked everything, no hints that this was gonna be spicy, but when it arrived the owner stopped by to warn us. He was not wrong. This tamale like fish started off mildly spicy and then got worse. But, the food was good!

Yelp
"It's Thali, can't wait to eat, Thali Maharaja. Spice I expect, oy, genuflect, a lot of food for me. Now, try your best to stay calm. Too much food, ring the alarm. Then, finish with the sweets to leave happy." - parody of "Prince Ali", Aladdin Bhookhe is a recently opened Rajasthani restaurant in Little India. Seeing new places nearby open give the impetus to try them out and show support. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=ogjXvH1nVcq0yfVyZrMhxQ&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA Maharaja thali- https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=Q2VCD314R_4542Tn9KiTtQ&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA A sumptuous amount of vegetarian food, Bhookhe's Maharaja thali provided an ample amount of food. The bati was rather dry for my preference, but everything else, especially the bowls of curry, were satisfying. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=h-B01dprpYZ9TbWlSaqpEQ&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA Service was good. The wait was minimal for the food. Ample amount of seating inside. Another party had a bratty toddler who wasn't into Indian food, so it made for a not so pleasant dining experience. Parking is metered street parking & nearby parking structures. Bhookhe is open on Mondays, which most of other businesses located in Little India are not. I had a fine Rajasthani meal at Bhookhe. The portions were good, and the Maharaja thali offered several food items in a complete package. I hope to return soon and try the rest of what Bhookhe has to offer. Highly recommend

Yelp
Had dinner here today and was very disappointed. The samosas smelled spoiled, the food was bland, and I ended up with an upset stomach after eating. To make matters worse, the table next to us found a hair in their food and complained as well. Poor quality and hygiene -- I won't be returning, and I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Yelp
First time here . Name is pretty peculiar which means hungry so tried it . Three stars for food and one star for the service . It is vegetarian restaurant and have many different options . Some dishes are hard to find here but how the taste compare to India is a different story . I was very excited about pyaz ki kachhori did not like it that much but the puri sky was good .

Yelp
Bhooke is bringing it with its northern Rajasthani cuisine. They are experts at balancing spices, flavors, and textures. Their dishes stand out due to the amazing flavors that are both bold and nuanced. Bhooke Special Curry: The curry is served in a snazzy silver dish. The curry is a beige-colored blend of milk, cream, garlic, and onions. It has a pleasing sweet and creamy taste with spices that play harmoniously together. Fox nuts (makhana) are the seeds from water lilies. They are neutral in flavor and once puffed up, their texture is like popcorn or little dough balls softened by the curry. Texture is provided by softened cashews that still have a tiny crunch. Plump golden raisins pop with flavor. Fragrant pink rose petals and green pistachio bits add aroma and color to the top. Scoop it all up with some naan or roti. Maharaja Thali: The thali is a massive plate made of leaves containing an assortment of delicacies fit for royalty. There is a dry curry of cauliflowers, carrots, and green beans cooked in a curry spice mixture with just enough water so that they are coated with flavor. Lehsun ki chutney is a red paste of garlic and red peppers, which delivers some solid heat. Mirchi ke tipore is a quick pickle made by frying green chilies in spices. The chilies are soft, tender, and very flavorful. Small dishes contain dal (stewed lentils) and curry. Scoop everything up with one of the rotis (wheat, pearl millet, and corn) or with a baati (hard fried bread ball the size of a golf ball). Between dunks in the ghee and dal, take a sip of the cold tangy buttermilk. For dessert, laapsi is a sweet treat made of grain flour, ghee, milk, nuts, and dried fruits. It has a soft, jiggly, almost pudding like texture. There is another dessert, similar to the laapsi. The green, soft, and gooey concoction contains milk, sugar, and cardamom. Dining Area: The interior is long and spacious with over a dozen tables. Parking: There is a lot in the back with a handful of spaces that you can park in. Half the spaces are reserved for the neighboring restaurant.

Yelp
There was a short wait when we arrived, but the hosts let us know when our table would be ready. They kept coming to give us updates while we were waiting which was sweet. We ended up with the thali, mutter methi malai curry and the achari paneer. The paneer was soooooo good! Tangy and spicy and the paneer just melted in your mouth. The thali here really tastes homemade! I also love that there's so many different types of grain, like the paratha is made from wheat flour instead of all purpose. And it feels a lot healthier since there's nothing with cream in the thali. Also while it's not mentioned on the menu, it also comes with chas (buttermilk). Lastly, the mutter methi malai, was slightly sweet, creamy and savory. The portions here are large so great for sharing! My mom ended up loving the dessert (bajri ka choorma) that she asked if they sold it by the pound. Which they do! But since they didn't have enough that day, the owner actually just gave a little extra in the house. So sweet!

Yelp
First time trying this vegetarian restaurant and I enjoyed it. Great food and great taste. I will definitely come back again.

Yelp
took my friends here to try chaat (indian street food), rajasthani food. I always come back here to get kachoris when I'm in the area. My friends who are not Indian tried the chaat and loved it. Service is very warm and it's a very traditional aesthetic setting.

Yelp
Good food and good service! Will keep visiting and y'all should try it atleast once if you like Indian food.

Priya M.

Yelp
Visited Bhooke especially to try their Maharani Thali but left quite disappointed. The dal baati and gatte were a letdown -- nothing like what they should be. The dal was a small bowl of watery, oily lentil puree, the baati was too hard to enjoy, and the gatte didn't even taste like they were made from besan -- more like soya chunks. Surprisingly, the thali didn't include any appetizers or even basic roti or puri. Not sure what we were expected to eat the chutneys, onions, chillies, and raita with! This thali felt incomplete and poor in taste. Would not recommend it at all.

Yelp
I was in Artesia today to purchase mangoes from Pioneer Cash and Carry. Two blocks is an Indian restaurant restaurant listed 49th in the LA Times 101 top restaurants. I always wanted to try this place. This is the perfect time to get some food for me and my coworker and neighbor. As I drove up and parked in front of Bhookhe, I noticed how quaint and beautiful the restaurant looks from the outside. The inside is nicely decorated with images on the walls. The tables are simple that makes you feel like you're invited to someone's home. The type of Indian food on the menu is from the north. My coworker suggested I order the Healthy bread is called Bajri ki Roti. Good Millets for health. Dal makhani for you to try. With the bread above. I asked them if the dal has tomatoes. He said yes. I told him I can't tolerate tomatoes. He told me he can exclude the tomatoes because they have customers who have allergic reactions to certain ingredients. I was amazed and thrilled. Most places have their dal made and I can't have. Bhookhe makes it to order. It will take longer. But it's worth the wait. I also ordered samosas. The dal and filling in the samosas had spices that made the food delicious to eat. I enjoyed everything. I can't wait to go back to try other items on the menu. My coworker got the Vada Pav, Dabeli and Chole bhature. Him and his wife loved everything. DJ's rating: 4.79/5.00 Would I come back? Definitely Yes.

Yelp
We came to Artesia to get our dessert fix from Surti and discovered this place accidentally since we didn't have breakfast we had brunch ..we ordered their maharani thali, Sartaj thali .. chole butture.. I asked if the thali was limited or unlimited.. our server informed it's unlimited if it's for a single person but when we asked for a refill he said we'll be charged which was quite rude and unfair since we ordered individual item for 3 of us.. overall the food was good and the ambience was nice too but their service was really bad.. I would give it a second chance since we regularly come to Artesia 3.5/5

Ari Hunt S.

Yelp
The inevitable happened... Went there after couple of months and order our usual -- Deal bati and Chole- Bhature. Both have lost their taste now. The moment they put the dishes on the table I could tell the color was off and when I tasted them, my doubt got confirmed. The owner used to say, he gets his masalas straight from India, I guess not any more. Sorry to see this place going down the drain ...

Khushbu P.

Yelp
Very good Rajasthani food. We literally ordered too much in between 4 people. Service was fast. The thali was expensive with unnecessary items, such as 3 different rotis with 2 big batis in my opinion. Ambience was good and so as the staff. I would say a must try, I will definitely going back again specially to eat there.

Bhookhe was a nice surprise -one of a kind restaurant - the menu is unique and they are quite full. We stopped by on our way from San Diego to Los Angeles. The ambiance is good and service is quick. The rabdi is out of the world awesome must have. The thalis are great option and there are some unique Rajasthani dishes but they have regular Indian options too. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Yelp
After reading the reviews my friend and I met up for brunch here on a Saturday. This was the first time I had rajastani food, so I am not familiar with the dishes. Our server was very kind and helpful explaining the different dishes. We decided to go with the maharaja thali because we got to explore different food items and it was perfect for us to share. The food was delicious, flavorful, and filling. I also got the mango lassi which can be a hit or miss, but it also didn't disappoint! Overall, it was such a great experience and I will be back again for sure!

Yelp
The best Rajasthani food I have had since moving to Los Angeles. We tried the Maharaja, Maharani thaali and some other items of the menu. Everything seemed to be lovingly prepared, and tasted authentic - and it had all the traditional items on the list. My top favorite things from the thaali were daal baati, kadhi, lasun chutney. The three halwas given as desert were just beyond perfect. Gattey ki sabzi and dahi bada could use some improvement.

Yelp
Loved the food quality. Tasty traditional Rajasthani dishes in the Thali. Service was very quick. Kudos for choosing the eco-friendly plates (leaf and paper plates and bowls) and stainless steel spoons, and avoiding plastic usage! Lively decor and wall murals. Highly recommend this place.

Yelp
I am foodie from Delhi. I travelled to mostly all states in India and I love to explore authentic and fusion food of every state or place when I visit. Liked the Rajasthani vibe with ambiance and food at Bhookhe. Mouthwatering!! Must go place.

Yelp
This restaurant in Artesia serves Rajasthani food. We ordered the Maharajah thali. Everything tasted good. It is definitely a great experience..

Yelp
Bhookhe is like the new, cool kid on the block. We stumbled upon it while walking and were immediately intrigued, especially since I'm originally from Jaipur. For my family and me, the experience was incredibly satisfying--it felt like we were savoring authentic local dishes straight from Jaipur and its surroundings. I highly recommend trying the Daal Ki Kachori, Pyaz Ki Kachori, Churma, and any of their Thalis. I might be a bit biased since this is the food I grew up with, but if you've ever wondered what authentic Rajasthani cuisine tastes like, this is the place to go. To my surprise, even my American-born kids loved it! Pioneer Blvd has plenty of great Gujarati food, but someone bringing a different cuisine with such quality is a bold move--and it's paid off. I enjoyed the food so much that I wanted to meet the owner. Anshul, the owner, is a great guy. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Giving 2 stars because my kids were hungry and we ordered rumali roti and 2 maharani thali( which was a great disappointment),and puri.Rumali roti was so hard to break, so they offered us phulka roti when my 2 year old was not eating that. No refills on any of the thalis( let me clear here we didn't share any items with my kids). We are from Bay Area and we love to eat thalis and here it's not even closer to what they claim to be.

Yelp
After placing our order, the server served the appetisers and after 1-2 minutes came back with the main course and was staring at us as if we were to stop eating and give him space to put main course in our already full table. Really bad service! We order Paneer Pulao and I don't even know how they came up with this idea of just drenching rice in oil, adding small carrot cubes and adding partly cooked paneer and then serving it for 10+$. There was no spices and when asked the waiter, we were told that's how it is made. This is daylight robbery and is a joke in the name of Indian cuisine. (EDIT: Reply to owner): Dear Owner, Instead of trying to make this about money, I would recommend you to pay attention to what is written in the review and try to improve your food and services. I am not interested in getting a refund and nor did I ask one for originally. Regarding your ghee comment, the issue is not whether it is oil or ghee but the fact that the rice was drenched in it! If your idea to make cents out of the dishes is to not even add some basic spices then I would instead suggest to increase the prices of the menu items as I would be more then happy to pay more for something tasty and appetizing.

Yelp
We don't know what we ordered exactly but we had their deluxe set meal with a couple of extra snacks. The meal was really good, but carb heavy. Lots of flavor and spices. The staff was helpful in picking dishes for us to try. Parking on the street can be troublesome. There are parking meters and you'll need your license plate to purchase parking.

Yelp
This is my grandma's cooking at a restaurant. There is a whole new level to authenticity here that I have not found anywhere else. The daal courses through my veins and resonates for about an hour glowing through me. The flavors carry the complexity of generations of cooking and Ayurveda. The daal baati and garlic chutney are the way my family made them back in Rajasthan, in a painstaking way delivering great flavor and health benefits. I love that they use leaf plates and the service carries a 'welcome home' vibe. I love this place and can't get enough of it.

Yelp
Disappointed with the food. We got the kadahi paneer which was 16oz container half filled for 19$ also half of it was oil and the other half some big pieces of paneer, bell peppers and onions poorly cut. Very bland and oily. Garlic Laccha paratha looked nice but again no taste. Pyaaz Kachori looked really big but the filling was very less and no hints of pyaaz(onion). Not worth spending.

Yelp
Haidilao offers more than just a meal; it provides a complete dining experience where excellent service, high-quality food, and a fun, lively atmosphere come together. I highly recommend Haidilao to anyone looking for a memorable hotpot experience!

Yelp
Bhookhe in Hindi means hungry. True to this name, I went in extremely hungry to them a few weeks ago. Luckily, they were open AND were serving their King thali, with multiple items on one plate. I enjoyed it thoroughly. The quantity was huge and I couldn't finish it despite my hunger. I am a fan of trying different food and relished the Rajasthani specialties- particularly the Gatte curry (chickpea flour) and the daal baati churma. Butter milk at the end was so refreshing too. Will definitely return next time I am in the area to try out other dishes. Service was prompt and polite. Great experience overall

Yelp
We went for sunday lunch and it was packed! We got seated as soon as a table was available. Beatiful arts & decorations in the restaurant. Menu was big and could not decide what to try and what to not. Tried they thali and it was so good & heavy. Had all the flavors. Will surely be back!!
