First time here after the former brewery "Peddlers Brewery" mnext door. The vibe, tables indoor and outdoor at the backyard is same. Spacious. Good selection of beer and friendly service. Great location for cyclists, a block away from Burke Gilman Trail. Our regular is have beer and sandwiches nextdoor. I'm happy that new brewery moved in this place. I would love to go there again.

Google
Great brewery, has a very spacious beer garden in the back and is dog friendly. I ordered the barrel aged sour at first and hated it, it’s way too sour, and they were kind enough to exchange it for the blackberry cucumber cider for me. Thanks so much!!

Google
Great little spot for a beer or a wine slushy. Dog friendly patio with a few games in the back. Beautiful place to hang out and relax. Make sure to say hello to Simcoe!! The service is great as well.

Google
Amazing place for a beer. Huge outdoor seating area (100+ capacity). Access to the best sandwiches in Seattle (see Mean Sand. picture). And a selection of 16+ unique beers on tap. There's a friendly cat. Plus, cornhole.

Google
We have stopped in a couple of times since the transition from the former “Peddler Brewing” and our recent visit was extremely disappointing. The back patio area looked extremely run down and not very welcoming with stacks of miscellaneous items everywhere (old crowlers, pallets). The toilets inside were absolutely disgusting with black rings of mold. The beertender did her job but not overly welcoming. We ordered one of the IPA options and we were underwhelmed. We actually poured out half pint of beer and my husband never leaves beer in the pint. We have been supporting the local Seattle brewery scene for many years and my hope is next time we decide to visit Bickersons there is some improvements

Google
Just really good beer and really nice people who make & serve it. 5 stars! Dog friendly, people friendly, big patio, great spot!

Great little spot, found it walking to another place and glad I stopped in. Hello Simco!! Try the "Fuzzy Feral Feline" Pils!👍🏼

Google
Wow! Great beer! I really enjoyed their Big Hazy B and No more day job IPA. The staff was super nice and fast. We grabbed sandwiches next door at Mean Sandwiches which were amazing and went perfectly with the beer. Five Stars for sure!

Yelp
I don't drink beer, however the people I was with appreciated the generous brew samples the nice people offer here. Maybe all breweries offer that as well, but still awesome. Since they don't serve food, they also allow you to bring food from outside restaurants here to enjoy while you throw back a cold one. Very neat and clean place.

Yelp
Seattle hot dog $8. Red blend wine $10. Beer $8. Folks were friendly. Came here for a comedy show. Big open venue outside. Sound was good. Only there was another brewery that had live music competing with the comediansz.

Yelp
The service was friendly and we were helped right away. There's a decent beer selection and they had something for everyone. I had the Alarmingly Annoying Spring Ale which was a delightful light beer. The others in my group enjoyed the Mexican lager and hazy IPA. Great stop if you're checking out the beer in the area!

Yelp
Parking is challenging. If the weather is bad, it's small or you need to pack on the clothes. But it has a friendly staff, a huge open area outside if you have a lot of friends. And beer. It gets two of the three F's. Friendly and fun, but not fancy.

Yelp
We seem to stop off here often when walking around Ballard and spent a fair amount of time at the previous brewery in this location. I can't recall if I have been to the Renton location of this brewery beforehand. This is one of the newer breweries in Ballard and worth a stop off if you haven't made it in yet. Like most places in the area it's street parking only. They don't have their own food, but there is food available next door which can be brought over. I like that this location is large where you don't feel as cramped as at many of the Ballard breweries and has 2 bathrooms. You can choose to sit inside if the weather is cold, although the outdoor area is much larger. It's good for meeting a larger party, since you likely will not find a big spot to sit at most of the other places. The outdoor area is covered, so you will be dry, but the heating is not as great as you would hope. There's always a large selection of beer available, which seems to change frequently. I also appreciate a place where you can see the taplist thru the window outside without having to go in case nothing appeals to you, with so many breweries in the area you do have to be a little picky. Bonus points for the brewery cat.

Yelp
Bickerson's I first went to in nearby Renton a few years ago. At the time I thought the beer was just okay but since then I feel like the beer has improved. This second location is located in Ballard in the brewery area of the neighborhood and they are in the space where Peddler Brewing used to be (I didn't know they closed. That was a surprise.). As I said I felt like they improved and revamped some of their company logos for their t shirts and had a good Mexican Lager. It was good and light. Sessionable(meaning a light beer you could drink throughout the day) and refreshing for the hot summer day we were encountering.

Yelp
My first visit to the Bickerson Brewery in Ballard (used to be the Pedeler). Simple venue, lots of space, no frills, open air and amazing beer! The "Lil west coast g ipa" is amazing! Kid friendly! Pet friendly. Resident cat named "Simko". Recommend!

Yelp
There was live music and it was outside under a covered tent from 5-7p (gooo Rick and Lisa). I wasn't a big fan of the beers, I tried a hazy IPA and a west coast IPA. They were both light and flavor was similar. I was surprised the beer didn't seem cold enough so maybe that was affecting the flavor a bit. They have froze (frozen white wine) and a frozen strawberry lemonade that are both in slushee form - so fun and yummy. Overall lots of drinks to choose from and menu says they have several non alcoholic options as well. Food - they have two options where you order over your cell phone using QR codes for either Mean Sandwich (they sit NextDoor) and Cycle dogs. I ordered from mean sandwich and it was really good for a sub. It fed two for $20 and included some potato wedges that are smashed thin. Parking was good in the back and service was your typical brewery, including self bussing and counter service.

Yelp
I had been to both locations. The Renton is my favorite, but the outdoor space at Ballard is good year round. The employees are friendly. It's the beer that brings us back. I love sampling the variety they offer. I am always surprised by how the flavor changes with food. The beer is good, better than some other more known breweries. If you haven't stopped by, you're missing out on some good beer.

Yelp
This is the brewery that took over the spot that was once Peddler. They seem to have left the seating setup the same, which in my opinion is good because it's a great setup for a lot of seating at the front of the building, inside the building, and behind the building. They also still seem to have the connection with Mean Sandwich next door so that people can pick up their order at the window in the back of the building. Now the big question is how is the beer? They have a tap list with variety, including a couple of cider options. I really enjoyed the Spanish lager.

Yelp
The venue is fairly standard for a brewery with an industrial ambiance indoors and a bunch of picnic tables covered by a big awning with outdoor heating in the back. Service is with a smile and pints are about $7-$8 each. That said, I tried four things and didn't like any of them. It was probably the rotation they have right now, but there seemed to be a theme of sour/funky going on, from a porter made in a window barrel to a cucumber cider to a sour/funky ale that I hoped was like a lambic but wasn't at all. Bottom line: Not pleasing to my palate. I may be back but only after checking the menu and doing taste trials.

Yelp
I can't personally vouch for the beer, but my brewery-loving husband really liked it. Everyone in there was very friendly and they have a huge seating area, complete with cornhole and space for a food truck, out back. They also share a fence with Mean Sandwich next door and have a serving window and menu posted on the brewery side, so there's another food option if no truck is there. Plus, there was live music while we were there on a Saturday afternoon. All around it's a great stop for a beer and a bite to eat!

Yelp
CAN I GET A HECK YEAH! Bickersons is legit. Give me their beer any day. Plus the location? Dope. As. Hell. Go to Bickersons. Get a pint. Enjoy yourself. Thank me later.

Ja R.

Yelp
Low quality poorly crafted beer. Typically the beer made with poor cleanliness and attention to detail. This is further evidenced by the filthy brewing area.

Yelp
Found street parking across the street around noon on a Sunday and went to the back of the brewhouse. There were lots of tables for lots of people, and luckily it wasn't too crowded and mostly our group of people. My partner and I ordered a frosé and a pink lemonade slushie at the front, both of which were very good and perfect for the warm weather.

Yelp
Decent new brewery in Seattle. It's where the old Peddler used to be. They had quite a few decent beers on tap. There was a large outdoor area with a food truck. It was a good stop!

Ruth Schaefer ..

Yelp
Bickerson has the beer and Simcoe, the best mouser cat! She's on patrol day and night.

Yelp
Great beer, great service. Enough said. Though apparently I have to write 45 more characters so...

Yelp
Really enjoyed our visit. Good beers and animal friendly with great staff. Loved it. Will be back.

Yelp
I had to check out this location after enjoying Bickerson's location in Ballard. Very solid beer with quick and friendly service. I'll definitely hit up this location next time in Ballard. Cheers!

Yelp
Always been a big fan of Bickersons so I'm glad to see them expand. The location in Ballard is absolutely fantastic, they cleaned up the old peddler location and it looks absolutely great. And the beer? Beer is absolutely solid. Kviek Rex, Big Hazy B, Hefe U, I love the variety and the flavor. According to Untapped I've had over 8k beers in the last few years and I have a belly to prove it. You can trust me. The beer is fantastic. Bickersons is a welcomed addition to Ballard. I highly recommend this place.

Amazing beer and the live music was amazing! Lots of seating indoor and out! Kid and dog friendly!! We will be back!!!

Yelp
Cool place to hold an event. Heaters work well for outdoor space. Good beers! Food truck a plus.

Yelp
Amazing beer. Perfect carbonation. Superb owners. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who just wants a really good beer. I had to get another beer just to keep the yummy taste in my mouth. the P.O.G. is fruity and packed with yummy guava flavor!!!

Yelp
Finally great beer in this awesome space! Always loved Peddler's location but Bickersons beer is a step up. And top notch beer tenders as well, props to Olivia (I think) for being so friendly!

Yelp
Old Peddler Brewery location, so the seating is still nice. That's where the pros end. The beer was over carbonated. I ordered the P-OG blonde which unfortunately tasted like orange flavored sparkling water. I would have never known it was a beer had I not ordered it myself. I sampled the Hef F-U 2020 and it as well was over carbonated. I closed my tab and walked to Ruben's to get the nasty taste of Bickerson's out of my mouth. Atmosphere wise, they played artist like Eric Clapton and Huey Lewis, not my scene. I do not recommend this place. I'm going to wait a month before I try them again. Maybe then they'll have things with the brew tweaked.

Mike D.

Yelp
I was sad to see Peddler leave, but the Bickersons are great. And make sure you use the back yard delivery from Mean sandwich

Samantha P.

Yelp
So excited to see Bickersons take over the peddler location. The Kevik Rex was super juicy and delicious! It's nice to see someone put some much needed TLC into the location. Can't wait to have a pint on the patio this summer! I'll be back for sure!
