"Biddrina is a gelato cart around the corner from Clinton Hill’s Locanda Vini e Olii, and it’s operated by the same people, weather permitting. (During the winter you can get their ice cream at the restaurant.) Anything you choose from the rotating flavors, like turmeric and amarena cherries, crema with marmalade, or plant-based halva and honey, will be a true pleasure to ingest. But the bright orange cantaloupe puts every other fruity ice cream to shame, and might even elicit an audible gasp. If every restaurant had a gelato cart outside of it, the world would be a much more delicious place." - bryan kim, willa moore, sonal shah, molly fitzpatrick, kenny yang

"If every restaurant had a gelato cart outside of it, the world would be a much more delicious place. We know this because of Biddrina, a gelato cart from the people behind Locanda Vini e Olii in Clinton Hill. A necessary after-dinner stop around the corner from the restaurant, the cart is open daily from 3pm-10pm, weather permitting. It's stocked with rotating dairy and plant-based flavors, like olive oil topped with toasted breadcrumbs, ricotta and pear, and Sicilian pistachio. Anything you choose will be a true pleasure to ingest, but if they have the cantaloupe, get it. Almost overwhelmingly creamy and just sweet enough, it puts every other fruity ice cream to shame. We have witnessed two people audibly gasp upon sampling it. (Disclaimer: we were one of them.)" - Willa Moore

Exceptional with unique flavors that are delicious and will be very hard to find anywhere else. Top 3 for me out of 70 ice cream/gelato shops in New York. They only have 6 flavors with 1 vegan but they do such an amazing job with the 6 they have. Prices are decent ($8 for 2 scoops) and portions are okay and they allow sampling. Very strongly recommend. My favorites were the turmeric amarena, Rosemary &Fig and the ricotta with pomegranate. Of the 140+ ice cream/gelato shops I have been to in the US, I have never seen such flavors. Don't let the humble cart fool you. I also really liked the vegan coconut stracciatella and the melon ice cream. Will definitely come back many times.

Beautiful gelato cart with really creative flavors. My favorite was the olive oil with bread crumbs, super subtle and not too sweet, but the others we tried were great as well! Has vegan options as well

Authentic gelato stand by Locanda Vini e Olli with delicious natural flavors that don’t taste artificial at all. Rotating selection with plant-based options as well. We had the coconut stracciatella and pistachio and both were delicious! A neighborhood gem.

This is an ice cream cart outside of the nearby restaurant. Inventive flavors like lemon and sage, strawberry and fennel. They had a couple vegan flavors as well. I tried lemon and sage, which was nicely flavored but the texture was icy and gritty and hard to finish.

Visited with my husband and dog on a random Monday after work. The ice cream flavors were unique it was hard to choose! Went with the pomegranate after trying a sample and it did not disappoint! The gelato was soooo creamy and the flavors weren’t over powerful. Hoping this pop up gets a brick and mortar location because I’d stop by all year round! There’s limited seating if needed, and was dog friendly. Definitely check it out if you’re in the area!

Wonderful gelato! They had two vegan flavors when we went- watermelon strawberry and coconut stracciatella. I got the stracciatella and it was so smooth and flavorful! I hope they continue to offer more vegan flavors in the future! Will definitely be back.

Recently heard about this spot so I had to go give it a try and y’all let me say I was blown away . The turmeric and the rosemary are my two favourite,. The olive oil has a great kick to it. If you guys haven’t tried it as yet I strongly recommend doing so . Great spot, incredible vibes and awesome environment.
