Always a wunderbare experience! I love this place so much that I visit almost every month. Great food, the beer is always fresh and cold, and the bill is always shockingly small. Not to mention great music when the band plays, amazing football atmosphere and a beautiful people-watching deck outside. Always great!

Better place to see Euro soccer. Best venue to watch German game in NYC on Juneteenth. Memory of Worldcup game. Good win against Sweden. Tough loss Anyway. Staff still very diligent, attentive, efficient, responsive despite crowded atmosphere. Like pork knuckle, bratwurst size. Deliciously done. Warm apple tart with ice cream good. When hot weather with crowd, almost open door, mosquitoes as well. Need hydration. Thank you for serving liter of ice.

This is the place for decent lager in New York and available in litre jugs. Most of the European lagers in the city tastes flat but not here, they have a very nice house lager on tap. Staff polite and attentive Foods nice as well, chicken wing are a little tough but I found that to be the same across all of new york Spacious seating area with plenty of fans, balcony for smoking and loads of tellys for watching sports on.

I always seek out schnitzel everywhere I go and this place is now on the top of my list. Excellent food and excellent beer. Will definitely be back.

Loved our experience and the food! Authentic German beer hall with a nice variety of real beer, great service and great décor! Even a nice view from the 2nd floor! The soft-baked pretzel and dijon mustard were worth the walk alone! A must when in NYC!

Great bierhaus! We ordered Pretzel - warm and fluffy Buffalo cauliflower - delicious,packes the right amount of heat Fries- nothing special here,no surprises Cucumber salad- nice and refreshing Mushrooms and cheese flatbread - very tasty Warst Sampler - more than enough for 2-3 people, don't skip the curry sauce on the side! We washed it all down with some beer and for dessert ordered the apple pie which was very tasty (a bit too sweet for my taste but that is just me) The service was quick and staff were nice Easy to reserve a table online We had the pleasure to come in when there was live music wich made the meal even better:) Definitely recommend if you are in the area and in the mood for some beer and food

We had a great day at the Bierhaus in New York. Period. The ambience was very nice, the beer delicious and the food tasted good. We will definitely be back.

Loud, Loud, Loud. Food was poor. We asked to be seated out on the balcony as it was so loud in the restaurant we couldn’t have any form of conversation. The table next to us was “SCREAMING” at each other. When the food arrived, it was pitiful. Overcooked, dry, and almost inedible. Don’t go. Save your money. Get a piece of fried chicken somewhere or a kabob from a food truck it would be much better.

My partner is German he really loved this place. The ambiance and vibes are very chill, the restaurant is upstairs and has long tables that I guess are meant to allow more of a bar type feel. There's also balcony seating. All the food was really good. You should try the beer flight it lets you taste all their house beers. Make sure you get that with the Bierhaus Pretzel it makes for a great combo. We had the Käsespätzle which is basically a German "mac & cheese" with the Classic schnitzel. More than enough food for two people to share. We didn't even finish everything.

You go in and think you found a German Beer Haus. What you found is a German style beer pub that has some food to offer. It has been around for years. You climb the stairs and find yourself that is not what you would see walking in to the beer halls in Berlin. This is a combination of German, Beer, Food and a gathering of people getting together to talk and drink. We went in expecting the Haus and found a beer bar with large tables and people talking with a band was playing, or trying to with all the people talking. Once we got a table that we were told to leave by 8pm since another couple booked it for that time, we sat down and decided what to try. We ended up with a Jagerschnitzel (which is a pork schnitzel), along with warm potato salad, red cabbage and cucumber salad. This warm and what to expect even if the pork was a bit stiff. We also had a reuben sandwich we ordered, The rye bread was nice. The reuben was a good size and perfect to enjoy. It was served with potato chips made in the back. Along with this we had a nice larger stein for beer to enjoy with it. The beer was good. A little cold since int he US we like our beer cold and not at room temperature as they drink in Germany. Took a little adjusting to this, but not a problem. For dessert we had a strudel and ice cream. This was good by itself. It was warm and fresh. Ideal way to end the meal. Overall, it is not a bad place to be. The food was fine. The staff was nice. The atmosphere was not a traditional German Beer Hall you have in Berlin. Anyway, we were out of their by 8pm for the next people to sit at the table we sat at. Danke. PS....The guy throwing up at the bar as we left and his friend was down the stair was a nice touch. Just be careful of what (and how much) you drink.

This spot is a short walk away from Grand Central and I found it to be very enjoyable. For one, there was live music, which is always nice. But even more, the food was great. First we had the Mushroom Flammkuchen. This flatbread comes stacked with arugula, mushrooms, truffle bits, and various cheeses. You can barely see the flatbread under all those ingredients, but it all holds together perfectly well and the flavor of each ingredient stands out. My favorite part of this meal was the Kasespatzle with braised short rib. This isn't just spatzle topped with cheese. This comes out like a masterful mac and cheese where each and every bit of spatzle is coated on all sides with thick melty cheese that stretches when you take a forkful! Then on top is braised short rib that has a caramelized sort of crisp. The short rib's flavor and the slight crisp to the edges went well with the flavor and texture of the Kasespatzle. Finally, we also got a Jagerschnitzel to go. This place gets 5 stars for take out quality as well in my book. They packaged every component of this dish in appropriately sized individual packages. The schnitzel, jager sauce, potato salad, red cabbage, and cucumber salad were all kept separate and tasted great even heated up later. I especially loved the cucumber salad, which has my preferred balance of sweet, tangy, savory, and crunchy.

We love this place! The beers, the food were delicious. The service was fantastic too. Great for happy hours and hang out with friends and coworkers. Highly recommended!

This German beer hall can get very crowded especially on big holidays where people go out and drink (oktoberfests, and such) It is a cool spot up a flight of stairs. The bar area is alright nothing special. They really only sell one kind of beer and light versions of it too. They have other tables and chairs in this beer hall and some out door tables on their terrace area. Which I think is smallish.

Closed out a busy birthday day/night here and this place was jumping! Went 'all in' on a massive 32oz Hofbrau Original Lager and washed it down with some of their delicious homemade chips. This place is a definite melting pot of personalities and customers from the happy and jovial to those who had definitely been there awhile. Plus there was playoff baseball going on which made the venue even more lively. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area of United Nations or Grand Central.

Great place to transport you Germany and make you feel like you're experiencing Oktoberfest. The staff is accommodating and the food is delicious. Can't wait to go back.

Came here and got my Germany. -classic Schweinshaxe (pork shank): so good and well made. Tender and juicy. -Jager schnitzel: Decent. The sauce is interesting and vaguely nostalgic. Perhaps sauce on the side would be better. Would try a different schnitzel next time. -Kasespaetzle: smoky and melt in the mouth cheesy. Excellent. Almost tasted like there was bacon on it even though the topping was declined. Would get again but also want to try the regular spaetzle next time. The sides that came with the entrees: sauerkraut was too sweet (I thought it was supposed to be sour?), red cabbage was still sweet but less, strange but it grew on me. Pickled onions always good.

4.5 to be exact. Came with my partner for a different dinner option in the area. Ordered the small bratwurst sampler, buffalo cauliflower and couple house brewed grapefruit beer to share. It's such a good value for the sampler that we got to try everything although we hardly could tell which was which lol. The sauerkraut, potato salad and red cabbage were really good also that acted as the palate cleanser. Their grapefruit beer was huge that neither of us could finish. This is definitely a good place for happy hour or large group gathering. Ohh, there's live music here on most nights.

A really great place for a large group. Tons of space with long tables and benches. Food is solid and came out fast. Upstairs from Wendy's, be careful with going upstairs and down the stairs when you are intoxicated!! We came here for a late lunch (around 1:30 pm) on Sunday afternoon and the place was surprisingly empty. Only a few customers but we are not complaining. The waitress was good and took our order right away. The beer is great, love all of the variety of German beers! Wheat, dunkel, dunkel Weis, Keller, Pilsner, love it!!! It's hard to choose a favorite because they are all delicious. I do love the dunkel Weis tho! Our food was delicious. We had classic schnitzel, meatball appetizer, mushroom truffle flatbread, bacon flatbread, schnitzel with mushroom sauce, and buffalo cauliflower appetizer. The Buffalo cauliflower was a bit too spicy to eat a whole plate, so best to share. Will definitely come back here next time we visit NYC!

I love to come here to hangout or watch a big sporting event. They have a variety of German beers and food to pick from. Staff is very friendly and plenty of space for big groups!

Do you want GOOD German beer and food? Do you want to have the Oktoberfest experience without the drunken interactions? Bierhaus is it! My friends and I walked in and instantly felt like we were in Munich for Theresienwiese. It looked like a legit German haus. Music, decor, and waitstaff all looked the part. We were seated quickly and ordered our beer. Of course we had to have beer in a glass boot! The beer was cold, refreshing, and got us in the spirits! We ordered the German sampler and it was a mountain of deliciousness. I'm not going to list everything so look at the picture. Needless to say we had a very enjoyable experience and will make the effort to go again!

It was a nice May day, and my hubby and I dined for a dinner for the first time in Hofbräu München / Bierhaus NYC. They had some interesting specials, including a grapefruit beer. I had stopped by previously and had a snack here, but this was my first legit "meal" here. This place has atmosphere in spades. I love that the decor (flags/drapes) matches the German vibe matches the music. Most restaurants these days have music that sort of "undercuts" the vibe of the cuisine they are serving. This one did not. Big points here. But in my opinion, the music was far too loud. I might be in the minority on this one because I'm a bit sensitive to blaring music, but it annoyed me and made me want to get the check a lot faster. Even if you aren't sensitive to the noise--it makes it very hard to have a conversation. (I did pop some earplugs in, so I didn't need to complain or bolt.) So thumbs WAY up on the band, thumbs down on the decibel level. The service was solid. I'd been here before and had iffy service, but this time our server was friendly and on point. I think his name was Mark and he was from England--props to himǃ I appreciated that they made me a mint lemonade which wasn't on the menu -- and was refreshing and delicious. Sidebar I know the servers don't tend to be German or speak German -- but I would like to see the staff be able to say the names of dishes in a more authentic way. It would contribute to the German vibe. The food... Hmmm... From what I've tried, I'd say the food ranges from "pretty good" to "just okay." Previously, I had a great pretzel with mustard, beer cheese, and a side of "Obatzda" -- now THAT was tasty. But for dinner... I didn't have as much luck. The Brussels Sprouts (with apples, etc.) not bad. Also not memorable. The Caesar salad (admittedly, not the most authentic choice in a German join) -- way too much dressing and very "soppy." The flatbread with the mascarpone and bacon sounded excellent on paper but tasted more like fast food. The quality of the crust and cheese were lacking. It had a certain dogfood-y taste, so I wouldn't try that one again. The sausage/wurst with cheese in it was tasty and more on par with what the place is good at...which makes sense because it's more traditionally German. The sauerkraut it came with was GREATǃ And I don't typically like sauerkraut. My husband liked the side of mashed potatoes but I did not -- so we were split on that one. I'll say if you like umami flavors and "hearty" meals, you'd probably enjoy that. And for dessert, we had the apple cake with vanilla icecream--it was okay. Warm and decent flavors but not super fresh or interesting. My husband very much enjoyed the flight of beers. And I am not a beer drinker, but even I liked the grapefruit beer concoction that substituted for one of the beers. Shout because it was very nice of them to accommodate the special requestǃ We had some liquors after dinner like Goldschläger (which I just found out isn't German but Swiss) and Rumple Minze (which is German) -- because I was curious mainly. I love the array of interesting selections. I will say (and I'm not the expert here) but the way they were served (in a big honking glass but filled about a third of the way) made it seem cheap and unattractive. Sometimes it's all in the presentation. After we left, my feeling was that I had a great time, definitely felt full/satiated, but I walked away with this sentiment "If I'm gonna go out and eat food that isn't super healthy, I rather eat something that is super delicious." And keepin' it real, this wasn't a good tradeoff. All in all, if you're a foodie or a healthy eater, I don't think you'll have the options you're seeking. But, if you like to drink beers and have appetizers (like big German PRETZELSǃ) in a festive environment, while listening to some talented musicians, you may really enjoy yourself here. I'd recommend coming to this place with a group of friends, especially if they're from out of town and want to experience a diversity of NYC vibes.

Stopped into Bierhaus NYC while staying nearby by the UN. It was an easy walk over to 3rd ave. You definitely can't miss Bierhaus perched atop the Wendy's and the Dunkin' Donuts. Climb the stairs up (I didn't see an elevator so I'm not sure it's handicap accessible) and you're in the cutest little beer hall you've ever seen. It was all done up for Oktoberfest while I was there at the end of September (maybe it always is, I'm not sure). The bar was busy but the dining room and outside dining area were pretty empty. I found a server and she said that I could sit anywhere I liked until 4:30 p.m. then the whole place was reserved for Oktoberfest events. It was just after 3:00 so I didn't anticipate that being a problem. I sat down and a properly-attired server came and took my order. I started with 1 Lt of their Hofbraus Hefe Weizen. Good serving seize for sure. The beer was cold and I enjoyed that typical wheat bier flavor. For my meal: The Haus Dog. This 10" (yes, 10 inches) hot dog was smothered in cheese, relish, sauerkraut, their bier haus sauce, and bacon. To be honest, the main things I tasted were cheese and relish. The relish had a sweetness to it that I didn't think worked well with the rest of the dog. That being said, everybite had tons of flavor so it wasn't overpowering. The dog was served with chips that came with beer cheese and mustard. I much preferred the mustard. I enjoyed the ambiance of the place and started so the the Oktoberfest revelers begin to arrive. My server was great and I closed out so she could leave before all the festivities began. Bierhaus NYC was a fun experience. I'd definitely return to try some of their other food and beers.

Great spot to grab food, a drink, and watch a game. Service was excellent. The pretzel with cheese and mustard was tasty. For mains, we ordered the jagerschnitzel, Bierhaus burger, and sausages. Food was decently priced for the location.

I found myself at Bierhaus the other day to celebrate a colleague's birthday. I periodically work in the area and am slowly making my way through the eateries in the vicinity, but this spot was new for me. I normally don't go out of my way for German food or beer gardens since I'm not the biggest beer drinker, however this place looked fun so I got excited to check them out. It's funny because I must have passed this place at least a dozen times and never really noticed it - silly me. Anyway, there's a nice sign letting you know you arrived, and upon entry you're immediately greeted by a staircase leading you up to the restaurant. The space is large and done up nicely - festive decorations to match the theme of the place, long communal tables as expected in a beer garden, and servers in lederhosen to match the feel of the aesthetics. The music selection, however, was a little weird - it was more contemporary mainstream music which kinda took away from the atmosphere a bit. It was not crowded when we arrived, and had our pick to a number of tables. The menu had typical German fare - a selection of wursts, schnitzels, apps, and a few extras like burgers, sandwiches, and more American dishes. We decided to start with the wurst sampler; this came with five different kind of wursts, red and white sauerkraut, potato salad, and mustard. This was good - the wursts were prepared nicely and I enjoyed the different varieties. They all had good flavor and the krauts/mustard were good complements. I decided to keep the wurst party going and ordered chicken bratwurst for my main. This was kind of an extension of the app, where it contained two links, sauerkraut, mustard, and potato salad. It was presented nicely and was really the perfect lunch-size portion; the wursts were full of flavor without being too salty, and the sides tasted really fresh. Service was great, everyone was super friendly and the food came out at a good pace. Overall, I had a good first experience at Bierhaus - I cannot speak on their beer, but this seems like a fun place and I would return if given the opportunity.

Had a great time at this place. Stopped in and had a nice big mug of cold beer. The server gave a pretzel to snack on. Big dining room with lots of open air. The place is set up like big beer garden. Cool spot.

Fantastic fresh German beer. Excellent Brats. Service was awesome. The atmosphere is brilliant German party style. Polka bands! I love this place.

Came here afterwork and had reservations for a group of 20. Sat us all down quickly and took our drink orders right away. The server was attentive and quick and informed us as soon as we sat down that checks cannot be split up for large parties and that we would all be put under one tab. Ordered the sampler sliders which had 2 beef, 2 pulled pork, and 2 chicken and spicy buffalo wings. The beef was like any burger, nothing special. The pork was tender and juicy but the chicken was for the win! Was so tender on the inside, crispy on the outside and the sauce had a nice tang with a side of spice to it. Would definitely go back for that chicken burger alone! Nothing special about the wings other than they were bigger than wings you would get at any other place I've been too. Had a boot beer, it was 1 liter but I saw another table had a bigger boot that wasn't advertised on the menu. Wish they did because I could have just gotten that giant boot instead of 2 small boots, definitely would have been more worth it. They had live music that was nice. Loud enough to be heard over all the noise but not too loud to be obnoxious. Only real downside I have to say about this place is the seating. They had long benches which is normal for beer gardens, but these benches had backs to it which sucks if someone sitting in the middle, which was me, needs to get out. Everyone to the right of me had to slide out so I could get out and use the bathroom, which I must say was actually pretty clean and nice for a bathroom at a beer garden

My boyfriend and I came here for lunch around 2:30pm on a Saturday afternoon. The space is pretty big and there was plenty of seating. We ordered the kale caesar salad and the reuben. The caesar dressing was amazing; quite heavy on the anchovy, but that's how we like it! The reuben was good, and came with a generous side of chips and beer cheese. Overall, nice place to relax and enjoy a beer and good food!

Service was good. We had the bier cheese and chips and the bacon flammcuchen. It was so good. Also get the bier flight!!!

If you just want to drink German beer in a great atmosphere this place will hit the spot. If you're looking for authentic German food maybe look elsewhere.

The beer was solid. Served ice cold, which is needed for beer of this size. Don't wanna get to the bottom and the beer be warm. Food was good but nothing to write home about. But the potato salad was terrible, in our opinion. For a platter this big, they gave one small side of cheese and one small size of mustard. Asked for extra and was charged for it. It's supposed to feed like 3-4 people and you wanna give us barely enough dipping sauce? Then make us pay for extra? Come on. The waitress wasn't friendly at all. And wouldn't let us finish our request before walking off (like we'd be asking for a refill on water and more napkins, but she'd walk off before we were able to ask for napkins). The inside decor is nice. Only thing that threw it off was that they had a DJ (Thursday night) that was playing like EDM music. It wasn't bad, but not what you expect at a German restaurant.

Solid place for after work drinks. The ambiance is so chill and the place is gorgeous. It's like a mini Oktoberfest, year round. Service was good. The waitresses wear the German beer girl costumes, so cute! Our waitress was very knowledge with our questions. We asked for a beer on the sweeter side and she recommended the Ruby grapefruit one with extra sweetness and it did not disappoint. Food was very delicious. Get the mac n cheese and the mushroom flatbread! Chicken fingers were on the drier side so it was whatever but everything else was yummy. The drinks were great too! We got boot glasses full of beer and shots. I'd definitely give this place 5 stars if only it wasn't for the disappointment that call a happy hour. You need to have a spot physically at the bar to get their appetizers and drinks for happy hour which sucks because after work, everyone and their mom is there. No one's going to move so you can sit and drink a half priced drink, lol. They need to indicate that on the website because we weren't aware. We would've been fine drinking and eating, standing up, but guess not. Anyways, definitely still recommend this place. I had an awesome time with my co-workers and will be coming back!

Happy hour has 7 dollar well drinks 7 dollar wines 7 dollar huge beers (I don't know the actual size because I don't really drink beer) and half priced appetizers. I am convinced that this is the best deal in midtown, an area sorely lacking in them. The blonde (young) woman who serves/bartends in the mornings is a delight, as is the bartender who comes in for the night shift, and the crowd is refreshingly not-obnoxious for the area. I will be back when I have room for a pretzel and a gigantic beer!

Large German style beer hall with long communal tables. The beer selection is only OK, they occasionally run out of certain draft beers which defeats the point of going to a German brew house! That said, the house lager is quite decent although at $10-12 per pint it's a little more expensive than other pubs in the area. The food portions are sizable, the schnitzel is especially good value for the massive portion. Unfortunately they don't have many vegetarian options, the salad that was ordered for our table was mainly plain lettuce and wasn't at all what we wanted. Service can also be quite slow at times.

The service is great! The staff is so pleasent and helpful! Love the ambiance it really is a true beer house! The food is great! I highly suggest getting a flight! The beer is so fresh and is very authentic! I love coming here! Deff reccomend it!

I've been coming here for years now, I've celebrated three birthdays in a row here. They are amazing, I love the beer and the food's good too. Tables are nice and big, staff is attentive and they have live music!

Made reservations expecting a cafeteria-style sit down, not a club. DJ would not turn the music down even when the manager asked multiple times

I saw someone wrote that this was a solid place for after work drinks, and I could not agree more. I think someone at work suggested coming here, and then we simply never stopped coming. It's a unique environment, complete with a live band, great drinks, and friendly servers. It is also always crowded, so sometimes it may be hard to find enough room for everyone but they somehow always make do. I haven't tried much of the food, so I can't say anything about that, but I like the Hefe Weizen--that's usually my go-to! Their drink sizes are also wild, and if you're planning on getting a litre, why not pay an extra dollar for a beer boot? Gotta try it at least once, right? Anyway, would definitely recommend visiting, it's super lively!

I stopped by Bierhaus with a group of five around noon on a Sunday. As soon as we walked in the front hostess was very diligent in checking COVID vaccinations; however, she was not the friendliest person. I had been to Bierhaus once before a few years ago, back then the restaurant was very crowded and brimming with excited shouts. When we came on Sunday afternoon there was no one apart from one large party on the side. I enjoyed the quieter atmosphere; however, the space did gradually fill up as the time went by. Service was pretty good. Our server was very friendly. Halfway through waiting for the food a table sat down next to us and a guy kept coughing heavily and they allowed us to change to a different table which was great. For our lunch we ordered and shared: -PRETZEL PARTY PLATTER: The spreads that came with the food were so delicious. So many different items and they were great! I wasn't the biggest fan of their pretzel though, a bit too over salted and kinda dry. -CLASSIC SCHNITZEL: The schnitzel was good! The sides of sauerkraut, cucumber salad and potato salad it came with were also delicious. -PORK SHANK: Mmm, really liked the pork shank. Meat was cooked very well, it was tender and flavorful. I also really enjoyed the fried onions sprinkled on top! All in all, a solid German restaurant for lunch time.

The food here was amazing. As well as the service, I came here with my German class for a field trip and the ride was definitely worth it. This has to be the most authentic German food and atmosphere I think I've ever been in. I am very proud of the owners of this establishment and they're spectacular job with the bringing up of Bierhaus.

1 and 2-liter beers : enough said! Great German beerhause with authentic German food and music. The band was off the chain - or maybe that was 3 liters of bier speaking ;). Seriously, they were great. This was the only beerhause in Manhattan that seemed to be somewhat devoid of Santa's from a huge event the same weekend. Make reservations here on the weekend and bring lots of cash or a card - you won't get out of here cheaply but it's worth it!

Went for Happy Hour - we shared the sausage sampler, spaetzle-n-cheese, lemon desert and huge stein of house brew. It tasted as authentic as any German food I've had. The dishes I saw going by made me wish I had time for dinner. The ambience was all that you would expect from the outside and the name. Service was great. DJ was fun but a little too loud for the small space. Can't wait to return.

As an avid traveler, I always wanted to go to an oktoberfest event, preferably in Germany but it was canceled this year so NYC would have to do. I love a good bratwurst and I'm so glad I stopped by because it was everything I was looking for. The biercheese and chips was delicious, the pretzel was super soft and fresh, and the bratwurst platter was delicious. It came with the best sauerkraut I have ever tasted! They have a lot of specials and events going on for oktoberfest so check the website so you won't miss out. They have an upstairs outdoor seating area which is pretty cool as well as a spacious indoor seating area. The food was so good, I need a round 2 :)

Came here for Oktoberfest and it was so fun! They had fun little contests with free beer even if you don't win. Also some of the best wings I've had in the city! The sauce was regular but the texture of the wings were amazing - fatty and flavorful! Great deal on flights and cocktails. Just a great place all around!

Food was great, had the reuben sandwich. I'm pretty sure the Grapefruit specialty beer was a Hefeweizen with grapefruit syrup added...it was good for the first drink or two and then got really sweet and syrupy! Big thing was they do NOT have AC and it's 90+ degrees with 80+ humidity out so we ate fast and dashed back to our hotel! I would like to try again in the fall/winter but mostly a miserable experience other than the waiter was cool and the food tasted good while we could stand to be there. Saw several people walk in and right back out again!

Service was outstanding, ambience was also very good (we went there for a soccer final ) food was good and prices reasonable

Food is great Beer is really great and the bartender pours nice cocktails. Very relaxing. Music was a bit loud to me, but it wasn't too bad, just not really comfortable.

Met some friends on a Saturday afternoon before they had to catch their train at Grand Central. This beer hall sits on the second floor of the building, so one flight to enter (not handicap accessible)! They have a large indoor seating area as well as a small outdoor balcony seating area that overlooks 2nd Ave. The tables inside are the long communal type, great for large parties/gatherings. There were tons of TVs in with sports games. Beers come in many size glasses, including a pint, liter or boot glass! We shared the pretzel $12 which was delicious and perfect for 3 people who were super hungry. It came with three different dips. Service was average; they were busy since the Euro Cup was on. I'd definitely recommend this spot since it's in a central location. I'll probably be back to check out their live music when it starts again!

Found this place walking along. The pretzel and beer cheese is sooooo yummy They have huge boot beers. So any options and So much fun. The sliders were cooked perfectly I'm not a fan fan of Brussels sprouts but holy camoley. These are a game changer. Absolutely delicious

Crowd-pleasing game day restaurant! Lots of screens, good beer, and German comfort food. This was a perfect choice for a work group when we had to travel on a Sunday so that people could watch the game. This restaurant has long tables and can accommodate large groups - there were 9 of us! Knowledgeable wait staff and very welcoming.

Great place for German food. I saw this chain of Resturant in Las Vegas, but this was 1st time New York. We had Bbq ribs, pork shank, and schnitzel. They are just awesome. It's very close to Grand Central. I recommend this place. Will go back there again if we are in the area. Schnitzel is my favorite and you can not go wrong with it. Service was great too. And waitress was dressed on German dress. Interesting to see.
