Where to find hand-pulled noodles in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"Tucked inside a supermarket, Big Dan Shanxi Taste serves up the chewy, thick noodles typical of Xi’an food. The cold sesame noodles are a particular favorite, especially on hot days when steamy noodle soups are less appealing." - Janna Karel

Where to Eat Solo in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"Tucked inside a grocery store, the diners at Big Dan Shanxi Taste are largely solo eaters, so you won’t feel out of place. The special hot oil noodles with tomato and eggs is particularly satisfying, but you can’t go wrong with the menu of Xi’an specialties." - Janna Karel

Delicious family-run, James Beard nominated spot!! We went back 3 days in a row! Tried the liang pi, wonton soup, hot and sour dumplings in soup, cumin lamb burger, lamb soup, and hot oil noodles with tomato and egg! All were super good, and we will definitely be back! Very friendly and accommodating staff too, this place was featured in season 8 of Somebody Feed Phil on Netflix. Enter the shun fat supermarket and turn left. Is on the first floor and wheelchair/luggage friendly. p.s. The spice is very good but strong, we had to level down 😂

11/5/25 This is inside an Shun Fat Supermarket. Enter the supermarket and turn left. Small space with about 9 tables. Sit order eat 😀 Chinese Pork Hamburger 腊汁肉夹馍 - good but nothing special. Hot & Sour Soup Pork & Chives Dumpling 酸汤水饺 - outstanding, the sour is perfect, this soup is so delicious I wish I can take it home and throw some ramen into the remaining soup but we're on vaca so no place to keep it. Hometown Style Pork w. Noodle 腊汁肉揪面片 - this was delicious! The pork was so tender the sauce is amazing and the noodles that are handmade were perfect bite. I wish I lived in Vegas just so I can eat here all the time! Highly recommend!!!

We tried LiangPi, Chinese hamburger, stir fried noodles with lamp, Lamp soup with bread, and lamp soup. Love the flavor! It reminds me of my hometown foods… The restaurant locates inside of the SF supermarket with 12 tables. Recommend it!

A cute hole in the wall located in a grocery store. The noodle dishes were great but the lamb pancake thing was not as good as the ones in Chicago.

Saw this on Somebody Feed Phil and was in Vegas, so why not! Many dishes include "hand pulled noodles". I got #15 with beef. It can be made spicy or not spicy. Either way was good, but you could order it not spicy and adjust using the table provided chili crisp. We seemed to be the only tourists there. Mostly a local spot. No shame though, the waiter was friendly and answered our questions and gave suggestions. Never had hand pulled noodles before but will now be searching out spots near me. If there are any... Really good spot and I'd come back the next time I'm in Vegas! Price wise it was almost the same price for a dinner at Mandalay Bay (Noodle shop) for subpar takeout along with an Uber ride across town. (Actually slightly cheaper to come to Big Dans)

Easy to get seating when you arrive early in the day. I've seen this place completely packed by 1 pm. We arrived shortly after 10 am and a couple tables were filled. We ordered the spicy intestines noodle soup and the lamb haggis noodle soup. Loved the noodles. They feel handmade and have great texture. The intestines could be softer. The spicy broth is surprisingly spicy. It sounds obvious but I have been to many spicy Chinese places where the spicy tends to be medium spice for my tolerance. I really enjoyed the light lamb broth. Great place to enjoy an inexpensive meal! I would come back to try other menu items in the future.

I am from Xi’an and can attest to how authentic this place is! Everything I had was amazing, from the cold skin noodles that were perfectly seasoned and tangy to the hand-pulled noodles with various toppings that were so delicious! Highly recommend!
