It took me a while to finally try this place — I’m not a fan of going into central London with all the chaos, but I just had to try their Sicilian brioche with ice cream. And I’m so glad I did. The ice cream, the brioche, and the service were all outstanding. I highly recommend it. The only thing I would point out is that, while having a regular cone or cup is easy to eat on the go, if you order the ice cream bun you really need a table to enjoy it properly without making a mess. Unfortunately, tables aren’t always available, as they’re often taken by people just having a cone/cup ice cream. I think priority should be given to those ordering the bun. Luckily, when I arrived the place was empty, and I managed to sit down and enjoy it — but within a couple of minutes the place was packed.

Google
We stopped by after seeing the great reviews and it didn’t disappoint! The man who served us recommended the Bilmonte, Double Pistachio, and Extra Dark Salted Chocolate as their top flavours. Unfortunately, they were out of the chocolate, so I went with the Bilmonte and Double Pistachio, while my friend chose Hazelnut and Double Pistachio. Every flavour was incredibly rich, balanced, and not overly sweet- just pure, moorish goodness. Authentic and faultless. That said, they really should sort out air conditioning for their lovely, hard working staff. It’s a small space, and totally manageable- they deserve to be comfortable.

I’ve been all over the world and this is easily the best gelato I have ever had—period. The double pistachio is an absolute must try even if you’re not a huge pistachio fan. It has so many textures and this ribbon of pistachio cream that runs through, which is out of this world. I got it with the Dark chocolate and the mini cone filled with milk chocolate. It is perfection and a must for anyone in London.

Google
An amazing quality ice cream. They only have few flavours but they are worthy to try. Prices are medium high. Portions are generous the service was not great they don’t play attention to details like have cream on the top ice cream, cones or cups, etc. you can pay with card. The place is very small

Google
Some of the best gelato I’ve ever had! I tried the double pistachio and salted dark chocolate — both were incredible. The pistachio was rich, nutty, and creamy, with that authentic depth of flavour you only get from real pistachios. The salted dark chocolate was intense, smooth, and perfectly balanced with just the right hint of salt. I really loved the extra touch of a mini cone on top filled with chocolate. The texture was spot on — velvety without being too heavy. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area and craving a proper Italian gelato experience.

Google
One of the most delicious, if not the most delicious, pistachio ice cream in the world. Rich and real pistachio taste instead of the usual creamy mild pistachio taste you find in other ice cream. The place is crowded but the queue moves fast.

Google
Prepare for the long queue as it was a hot day as well. Small shop, no fuss... walked in, tried a few ice cream flavor and chose gianduja and pistachio (they ran out dark salted chocolate which was one of their bestseller). A selection between cup and cone as the base and they ask if you want the drip cone on top -- chocolate one is free. Good ice cream. Accommodating staffs! 🤗

Google
Some of the best gelato I've ever had. There was a bit of a queue, not longer than 10 minutes on a Saturday afternoon. Went for the double pistachio and salted dark chocolate and I still cannot decide which one was better! There is limited seating inside and quite busy, but just around the corner there is a cute square with benches. Perfect was to relax on a sunny day.

Yelp
Yes, just yes to the double pistachio gelato. Even if you don't normally like pistachio, give it a try. Trust me.

Yelp
Friendly service and incredible gelato. Their double pistachio with the chocolate drip was amazing. The daily special was a salted white chocolate which they let me try too, but I stuck with the pistachio. I often find it hard to eat sugar due to an allergy but didn't find this too sweet. I'd absolutely go back if I'm in the area again.

Yelp
Wow, the best dessert in London for sure. This gelato is incredible. On par with gelatos I had in Italy. So rich and creamy and they nail each flavor - I had the gianduja (chocolate hazelnut) both times I went because it was THAT good. The mini cone filled with belgian chocolate and whipped cream are free btw!

Yelp
This small gelato shop is a must stop! The service was impeccable, the gelato out of this world. Best pistachio gelato I've had, and the strawberry one was delicious and a perfect accoutre to the pistachio. The place is small - sitting only for 6, perfect for our family. The ice cream comes with an optional tiny cone filled with chocolate. The service was great. They even gave us little glasses of water (we walked 1.1 mile to get to this place!)

Yelp
One of my fave food experiences while in London (SoHo). We saw a couple practically making love to some cones on the street so we interrupted their love fest to ask where we could replicate the magic. They pointed us in Bilmonte's direction. The owners of the shop are in the right biz...they ooze gelato goodness from their pores. They boast 11 "basic" flavors that are anything but, plus three additional seasonal ones. Try any/all of them to your heart's content. I opted for coffee and the bilmonte (a sweet cream of sorts). It was magnificent on its own, but then they go and top it with a cute lil' chocolate dipped cone (pretty sure it's extra, but VERY worth it). I'm talking dollhouse in size, but somehow felt like the chocolate never ended (you can opt for pistachio instead of Belgian chocolate, too). Loved it!

Yelp
Milk Chocolate gelato was really good! Hazelnut did not have much flavor good portions are served

Yelp
Holy moly, who would have thought I'd love gelato in London. I had the VANILLA GELATO with the cone filled with a decadent chocolate syrup. Super creamy, not too sweet. Such a perfect dessert after lunch or dinner. ENJOY!

Yelp
Really amazing gelato that tastes like Italy to me. The milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate, and pistachio are all amazing. They are incredibly generous with portions so I actually preferred it without the (free) whipped cream, even though the cream itself was really good. Same with the chocolate sauce in the bottom of the cone, which was excellent, but almost felt like too much. Regardless, this is a must for our next trip in London.

Yelp
The BEST gelato shop in London, and maybe the entire world. Seriously, I was in Italy for two weeks prior and tried their best gelato shops from Florence to Rome to Naples, but this small gelato shop in London surpassed them all... First, all the flavors are kept covered in canisters like the authentic ones in Italy, so they don't waste any effort on trying to capture your attention like Anita or other shops. Second, they offer a very limited option of flavors: pistachio, double pistachio, variations of chocolate (milk, dark, salted dark), coffee, hazelnut, etc. But they do each flavor VERY well. I had a very disappointing stracciatella from Grom before, but I was absolutely delighted by the stracciatella I had here in Bilmonte. I also got to taste the double pistachio, and it was one of the best flavors I tried. Finally, they offer a generous scoop per cup and a cone dipped in warm Belgian chocolate, which I mixed in with my gelato. Perfect shop.

Yelp
Dang, so good. I didn't eat want dessert but couldn't help myself when we went into here to get gelato for husband and daughter. Super high quality and the tiny ice cream cone filled with melted chocolate that they pop into the gelato for an extra nice touch is, well, super extra.

Yelp
I had the pistachio and salted chocolate and both were incredible. Normally not a chocolate gelato fan but theirs will change your mind! It was the creamiest yet not overpowering and well balanced saltiness. I think I will need to go back at least 5 times and I'm only here for 4 days.

Yelp
Better than Gelupo around the corner but the flavor selection is quite focused: variations on chocolate, hazelnut, and coffee. The signature secret recipe "Bilmonte" is bonkers good. It's somewhere between hazelnut and Kinder Bueno having an affair. I didn't love the salted dark chocolate as much as my hubs but all the gelato textures are superb. Coffee flavor is intense so just know that. Service is warm and they let you have samples which feels like a very novel treat after so much COVID non-sampling.

Yelp
Best proper Italian gelato in London! Can highly recommend both the dark chocolate salted caramel and the Hazelnut! Very impressed. Customer service also good- friendly, happy and helpful!

Sasha G.

Yelp
Wow! The vegan dark chocolate was so decadent. The service was superb. My husband got the white chocolate and also loved it. If you're looking for ice cream in Soho definitely come here!
