"Le Binchotan, a grill-centric French-Japanese restaurant, introduces Singapore-centric dishes such as Iberico Pork Collar Satay, Hokkien Mee, and a bubur cha cha-inspired cocktail. The satay is marinated with kicap manis, gula melaka, nutmeg, and turmeric. The Hokkien mee is made with a bisque-style stock brewed from roasted prawn and lobster shells, topped with binchotan-grilled tiger prawns." - Michelin Guide Digital-Singapore

Can't really say I enjoyed my time totally at Bincho. Food was good though very pricy. Sashimi was very fresh and the yakitori we ordered were good. Quality of the produce was high. My favourite was the enoki wrapped with bacon and the sashimi. What was a complete let down was their service. We were reminded constantly when we got there that there was a second seating at 830pm. We understood this when we made a booking. But to be constantly reminded we had to leave was really annoying. I didn't feel welcome at the restaurant. Especially when we were spending about $100/head for skewers, fish and a bottle of sakae. (There was 2 of us) Was the food good? Yes. But you can go elsewhere for quality yakitori without spending huge amounts. They really need to change the way they articulate their second seating without customers feeling like they are being chased out. I won't be going back.

Loved the entrance to Bincho, it was so secluded, and the ambience inside is very private. We had a seat at the bar, and all precautions were done with transparent panels to ensure safety while eating. The food was amazing, though a little pricey, but you can buy chope vouchers to use! Remember to buy more at one go because you can only redeem once;) the staff were really friendly too! We left the last because we enjoyed so much, and the staff there never really chased us away 😆 thank you so much for your hospitality. Sorry we sat for so long, we went on a weekday night, so it was relatively quiet. Overall, loved it and highly recommend!

Above average Japanese yakitori place with various lunch set offerings. Nice ambience and good service all round. For the price, it's quite a good value for money. Second time here and it's good for business lunches. No complaints

Had one of the most satisfying Yakitori experience at Bincho today! Cause of the Binchotan used, the tail and heart dishes are grilled to perfection, especially the tail which is super crispy! The two set meals are super worth it too, with thick collagen chicken soup, chicken skin salad, marinated tuna belly + yellowtail + salmon sashimi, black sesame ice cream included. The chicken in the Yakitori Don has super crispy skin and succulent meat, and I super miss the creamy pasteurised egg yolk mixed in with rice in the oyako don! Good friendly service too!

Fantastic experience. Down a short trail to an inconspicuous hut. Lovely ambience, seating and decor. Good service. The various dishes we ordered were top notch in quality, cooking and flavour. Presentation was good too. Yakitori-wise, the dishes were top notch - as good or better than for e.g. Kazu (which to be fair is a lower price point and more casual set Izakaya). Enjoy the pictures! All 4 foodies agreed this was a good spot. Ok not exactly cheap, but for what it is, not expensive either. 5/5 overall, and for Singapore standards. Will definetely be back...

Being a stickler for good quality yakitori I often search for new opportunities and am always on the hunt for the best tsukune in Singapore! I must say Bincho does the best tsukune even if it’s not served on a stick. The variety of options available is good but basic dishes like chicken wing / gizzard / liver ; typical yakitori dishes. In addition to fusion options which are delicious as well. Very nice vibe with large counter so you can see the food being prepped. Price point is decent considering amount of food ordered. Must try!

After trying the one @huahin, we decided to try this one. The menu is different from Huahin, with more specialty food and less yakitori. Our group felt that the food here was not as good as huahin but still acceptable. This place is more spacious though and more like a restaurant, however the entrance was still difficult to find as it is located at the back of the building behind another restaurant with a very subtle signboard that is not too visible from the parking. Even the directory board do not indicate their restaurant. Service was standard.

A nice Japanese joint residing at Min Jiang Dempsey. I do agree with most comments that this place is rather pricey for its food. Hence, I would recommend to take the set lunch and also buy chope vouchers when you see it. I use the 100 bucks discounted vouchers and had the beef tongue and Bincho bento set lunch. Both were really good and tasty and the service is good since it was not overly crowded during lunch. I would definately come back again once there is promotion from Chope.
