Bini’s Kitchen Review - Soma - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"If you want to make sure to do one thing right today, grab lunch at Bini’s Kitchen. This Nepali restaurant in SoMa makes some of our favorite momos in the city. We love everything about them—from the well-spiced turkey, lamb, or veggie fillings to the delicate flour wrappers to the tasty roasted tomato and cilantro sauce that comes on the side. Get the combo meal if you’re really craving momos, and want to enjoy owner Binita Pradhan’s other great dishes, like the sautéed cauliflower with peas, green onions, and spices. You can also grab Bini’s food at the weekly Ferry Building farmer’s market and at the new La Cocina Marketplace in the Tenderloin." - Lani Conway

I've loved Bini's Kitchen since I first had her momos (Nepalese dumplings) at Outsidelands. And her food did not disappoint! I got the chicken entree with rice and veggie momos. The sauce it came with was so flavorful and paired well with the rice. The rice had a good bite to it. And the momos were just as delicious as I remembered them with a delicious filling. It came with a creamy sauce that had a little kick to it. I also got a side comprised of chickpeas and other beans. They were so yummy, and I have some leftovers. I think I'll pair them with za'atar toast for lunch tomorrow. I'm so happy that she opened a location at La Cocina Marketplace. When I saw the sign when La Cocina first opened, I've been patiently waiting for it to open. So glad that the day has finally come! If you have not had momos, definitely visit Bini's at any of her locations and get some. I'm gonna get the turkey momos next!
