Black Bear Burger - Restaurant Brixton

One of the best burgers in the UK, hands down. We started with the maple sriracha wings and brisket spring rolls. The wings were delicious, with a perfect sauce combo and a crispy coating, though a bit small for the £7.50 price tag. The spring rolls, on the other hand, were incredible—crispy on the outside with beef brisket bursting with flavour inside. For mains, we had the brisket burger and the Black Bear burger. Both were phenomenal, packed with flavour, and cooked to perfection. Every ingredient in the burgers came together perfectly. On the side, we ordered the steakhouse fries with habanero mayo. The fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy inside, and the habanero mayo hit just the perfect level of heat. We were equally impressed with the espresso martini and old-fashioned cocktails. The customer service is great. The staff members are very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend Black Bear Burgers, and I can’t wait to go back for another feast!

First time at Black Bear Burger! Visited on a Friday evening and was a nice busy, always a lovely setting within the Brixton market area ✨ When arriving the staff were super friendly and helpful ✅ Started off with the buffalo and blue cheese wings and brisket spring rolls (so delicious) Then we had the classic and brisket burgers, very tasty and my only cristisim would be the sauce over powered the actual burger a little hence the reason for the 4* If you are travelling to Brixton, super easy via various bus routes, tube and rail stations all within a stone throw away. Solid A**** LDT x

The evening standard wasn't kidding when they said this was the best burger in London ... It was excellent , well worth the price . Great service too. The manageress was lovely . Chips were a bit expensive but nice all the same . The burger was top notch though. Definitely having that again .

Went here a couple of weeks ago. So far this is my favourite burger in London! The brisket spring rolls are very unique and good. Thought it would be greasy and a bit much, but it was perfectly balanced. I cannot recommend the miso bacon burger enough. I'm not even much of a bacon fan, but this burger was sublime. You just get an explosion of flavor when you bite into it. Fries are also very tasty!

Some of the best fried chicken I've had and quite spicy too. Highly recommend the chicken special while it lasts! The spring roll was also an excellent recommendation from my server. Highly recommend and make sure you get a citrus sour with your meal!

Ordered the Black Bear burger and side of brisket spring rolls. Good Burger, nicely seasoned and the bun was different, but tasty. Reasonably priced for a good quality burger at £12. Also tried the skin-on fries which were nicely done. Spring roll was ok, probably try something else next time. Overall it was a good burger, would recommend.

One of our favourite burger spots in Brixton. Great quality meat, both for the beef and chicken burgers. The chips let down the overall experience slightly and the last time we went the ice cream machine wasn’t working which was a disappointment! Some things are also insanely spicy so I would ask about spice levels if you have any issue with heat!

Excellent burgers & great cocktails, loving the tunes too! Gutted they were sold out of the Brisket spring rolls so will have to come back
