Black Hammer Brewing - Review - Soma - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"This SoMa small-batch brewery feels like it’s from its own universe where beer is the primary form of sustenance. Aside from the lengthy menu, it’s covered in art that looks like it's from another planet. So while you’re thinking about which beer in your tasting flight you like the most and why, you can also wonder where the laser pistol-wielding Valkyrie heroines on the wall fit into their fantasy society. We’re not sure what our favorite picture on the wall is, but we love the Hoppy Pillows IPA." - Will Kamensky

Where To Eat & Drink Near Oracle Park

"The small-batch brewery specializes in ales and lagers with the gluten removed, and what’s on tap tends to change frequently, which is just part of the fun of drinking here. The other is grabbing a pitcher or tasting flight of four and pulling up to their heated parklet for a pregame drink." - lani conway, julia chen 1, patrick wong

"The small-batch brewery specializes in ales and lagers with the gluten removed, and what’s on tap tends to change frequently. You can order cans and growlers for takeout, or, better yet, sit with a pitcher or tasting flight on the parklet and sidewalk seating area. Black Hammer Brewing also has Trivia Night on Wednesdays. The Best Breweries in San Francisco | Eater SF

"Black Hammer Brewing, a SoMa brewery and tasting room, is suds and pup friendly, with a beer selection focused on American IPAs and some classic German styles like pilsners and bocks. The patio is also fine at its sister spot, German-inspired beer garden called Wilkommen at Market and Sanchez in the Castro." - Dianne de Guzman

SF Brewery Ordered to Stop Cannabis Beer Production - Eater SF

"The SoMa brewers at Black Hammer were among the first to sell CBD-infused beer, made with the non-psychoactive hemp-derived ingredient that’s a cousin to marijuana’s more famous (and very psychoactive) THC. But a few weeks ago, they were reportedly told off by the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), ordered to cease and desist production of CBD beers — but not for laws around cannabis, but instead because CBD isn’t on a list of approved non-standard beer ingredients. Hemp and terpenes aren’t on that list, but the brewery will apply to add them and resume its CBD beer line." - Caleb Pershan

Google
Big ups to Michael for being a superb bartender even if he's subbing. Excellent beer, even better hops seltzer. Design of whole place has character. Absolutely will revisit.

Google
We got a flight of the stout, sour, west coast, and hazy. All of their beers were tasty and with unique flavors. They marked which beers had won awards on the menu as well. This place was better than we expected! Will definitely be back in the future.

Google
I love checking out breweries when travelling and this one was a great hit. Friendly staff and a good variety of beer selection with something for every taste.

Google
Update (2024): Still a great selection of beers and very relaxing atmosphere on a Tuesday evening. They've got some very interesting beers on rotation right now. Would definitely recommend trying out the peanut butter and jelly beer! 2019: Great selection of unique beers, very friendly staff, great place to hang out at after work

Google
Great crafty with an extensive list of beers. Was pretty quiet when we went in (Friday early afternoon) but the layout still carried some cool vibes. I had the Cloud Chamber which was phenomenal, one of the best beers I had on my holiday. The resident bar dog greeting people at the door was distinct bonus for wifey. Loses a star cause prices were a little punchy

Google
Street parking only. Limited indoor seating. Outdoor seating is available. There are lots of beers on tap. Had a flight of 8 tasters. Most of them I like. Great porters and hazy IPAs. The server was helping friendly. No food here, just empanadas.

David Striker

Google
Decent brewery near our hotel. We both had the Ascendance Hazy IPA 6.6% which was good but not great. This was our last brewery of this 3 day visit to SF. I would come here again as they do have a decont selection of beers.

Google
Black Hammer is a good brewery but not a great one. Their beers are bold and creative, but the balance is off on all of them. Their heavier beers suffer from this the most. Don't visit here for the taste of the beer, visit for the awesome atmosphere and good folks behind the bar. The board games, skylight, and optional outdoor seating make this such a fun place to hang with friends or relax on your own. This brewery deserves a visit, just stick to the lighter beers.

Yelp
Go here!!! And Push the disco button!!! If you know you know and if you don't know go and then you will know :) :) :) never felt so intrigued to dance by myself before.

Yelp
If you're a fan of great beer, board games, and a chill vibe, Black Hammer Brewing Company is the place to be. This spot has quickly become one of my favorite hangouts in the area! **Ambiance & Seating:** The brewery is super clean and spacious, with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. There's no wait time to grab a table, which is a huge plus in a popular spot like this. The layout is open and airy, making it perfect for hanging out with friends or even a solo visit. The interior has a cool, relaxed vibe - think exposed brick, modern decor, and a laid-back atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. **Beer Selection:** The beer selection here is fantastic - lots of options for all kinds of beer lovers! Whether you're into IPAs, stouts, lagers, or something more experimental, there's definitely something for you. The prices are reasonable too, which makes it easy to sample a few without breaking the bank. Their staff is always happy to help you pick something based on your preferences if you're undecided. **Board Games:** One of my favorite things about Black Hammer is their extensive collection of board games! It's the perfect place to spend an afternoon with friends or family while enjoying a cold one. They've got everything from classic games to newer ones, and it's great to have something fun to do while you're sipping your beer. **Food:** The only downside is that they don't serve food on-site, but that's easily remedied by bringing your own snacks or ordering delivery. Plus, with so much to choose from on the beer menu, you won't be bored while you figure out your food plans. **Overall:** Black Hammer Brewing Company nails it when it comes to beer selection, cleanliness, and a fun atmosphere. If you're looking for a no-fuss place to hang out, grab a drink, and play some games, this is your spot! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a solid brewery experience.

Yelp
Came to this hipster brewery for a few beers. It may seem like a little place, but it has big taste. Black Hammer is one of the many local breweries around here. A few interesting flavors they use such as peach. There's fruity, hoppy, and other stuff. A limited menu but there's enough variety anyway. It's got a lot of different flavors. They're known for the fruity sours. Plenty of hoppy ones of course. The prices aren't bad compared to other places it seems. It's about $7 a pint. The best one of these we got was the Sage And The Giant Peach, a fruited sour. Of course there was a tanginess to it. This one was light so we wanted to try a few others. Has a pretty chill atmosphere inside. It's a cozy place with a bar in the middle. The area around it is pretty bare but within a few more blocks is the Moscone Center and Oracle Park so it makes a good place to go before or after events and things.

Yelp
Black Hammer Brewing was a great beer experience that Steve and I enjoyed in recent months. We had the CCBA Collab Cold IPA. I do enjoy Cold IPA's as they seem to be up and coming but still new and fresh that brings something different to the table over standard IPA's that you can get virtually everywhere. Also collaboration beers are usually rock solid and this one is absolutely no exception. The floral, hoppy, dry and bitter flavor features are a real joy to have them combine while savoring this beer and I am very grateful that my fortunate and rewarding streak with Cold IPA's continues!

Yelp
Great spot to swing by before or after a Giants game! really enjoyed the set up here, as they have a bunch of tables inside and on their outdoor patio. We came by before a game on Friday evening, and it wasn't too crowded but was just lively enough. We sat outside and it was the best place to just chill and enjoy a beer. They have a fun assortment of beers on tap and something for everyone. Their cups are also cute, and I can appreciate their good branding, and love that they have some board games for people to play :-).
google avatar

Georgina E.

Yelp
Eh, not what it used to be. The area is sketchy. The beer is mid. The empanadas are dry. If it weren't for the cool people who worked the bar back, I would have gone maybe once or twice. I'm over it. Fieldworks is a better brewery. And so is Great Notion. Both are in Berkeley. Barebottle is another great local brewery in SF. This place just isn't what it used to be.
google avatar

Dimitri T.

Yelp
Great variety of beer. Good quality. Belgian blonde was very good. Chill atmosphere. Wish they had more amber & dark beers in the rotation
google avatar

Zulema G.

Yelp
Great location (near Oracle park) and cool vibes inside. We came around 2PM on a weekday. Staff was welcoming. They have board games available and seating outside. I enjoyed my beer which was a light blonde, "sparkle pony". It looks like they sell handmade empanadas too. When I'm visiting SF, I love going to new places.

Yelp
Delicious beers!!! Our bar tender was friendly and helpful. The place has a fun vibes with awesome funky & cool decor. They had games to play and the bathroom has a red button that turns your loo into your very own dance party with lights and music! Such a fun and unexpected experience especially for a bathroom. **hint, you'd never guess it but the beers have the gluten removed and are absolutely amazing**
google avatar

Matthew H.

Yelp
This was a great pre-game location for all of the baseball fans. We came here due to my wife needing a gluten free beer. All of these beer are gluten reduced and you can't taste a difference. I ordered a sour that was a mix between a Pilsner and a sour with a bold flavor with minimal tartness.

Yelp
Cool brewery, nice vibes. Friendly staff. Good beer. Easy to get to via public transport.

Yelp
Great time for the SF Beer week kick off party. Great beer and some snacks, limited options on snacks. Empanadas and pretzel Are the food options. Lots of great beers to choose from.

Yelp
Great food, beer service. Thank you Wonderful service and a very chill atmosphere. Awesome menu.
google avatar

Yelp
Growler, the bar dog, is adorbs. The disco bathroom is something to see. Service is friendly. Hours are convenient.
google avatar

Yelp
Sparkle Pony might be my new favorite beer! Not just because of the name LOL but it has a lot of flavor. Dog friendly so bring your fur babies..
google avatar

Evan W.

Yelp
Mediocre beer poured in small portions for twice the price of other breweries in San Francisco. They used to do so well with trivia night, happy hour, and game day specials (post Covid) but they've gone downhill. Save your time, money, & tastebuds.. go somewhere else
google avatar

Yelp
Black Hammer Brewing boasts an impressive menu featuring a variety of superb craft beers and thoughtful non-alcoholic options for those choosing not to partake. I ordered the Pale Blue Dot and i enjoyed the notes of blueberry with each sip. Whether you're a craft beer enthusiast or simply seeking a laid-back spot to enjoy a drink, Black Hammer Brewing deserves a spot on your must-visit list - you won't leave disappointed.
google avatar

RC R.

Yelp
A great brewery that is a quick walk from the baseball park in San Fran. Very unassuming from the outside; it delivers big atmosphere once inside the establishment. It is a smaller brewery with lots of character. Friendly and knowledgeable staff add to the experience. A really nice place to grab a beer (or two).
google avatar

Brenda N.

Yelp
"Growler" the brewery mascot and Owner's pup will greet you when you walk in, or may be spotted sitting at the counter. :) Staff was friendly and easy to talk to. The beer list isn't too long but they have enough variety to satisfy at least one of your preferences. It's quiet enough to be able to bring a laptop in the day to get some work done, but busy enough at night to be social. The bathroom was clean which is always a bonus. They also have a shelf filled with board games for entertainment.
google avatar

Zach P.

Yelp
Black Hammer Brewing has a really great vibe and the bartenders give amazing service. Walking in there's usually space either in one of many tables or at the bar. There are also several board games stacked up that anyone can grab and play. I've had a fair share of Sorry games as well as Code Names, Cards Against Humanity, Battleship, etc. The beer selection varies from Hazy IPA's, Stouts, Hefe's, Lagers, and several others. I usually don't have a problem finding something I want to try and if I want to get something to go there's a fridge in the back to grab a few cans for the road. I'm a big fan of this place and if you're around this side of town I don't think you'll be disappointed by stopping by and getting a pint of your favorite type of beer.

Yelp
My workday wrapped up earlier than I expected while I was visiting and so I walked over to Black Hammer, I figured it would be a good time killer since they weren't open but if I walked they would be. I managed to get there a few minutes before they had opened so they were trying to wheel in a brite tank in, but they let me in early so I could change in their bathroom (why I didn't pack up my sport coat BEFORE I walked I don't know,) and was the only one at the bar. The bartender, Grace was still setting up and it was nice to be able to settle in and look at their menu. So, while some of their beers are gluten free not all of them are. I didn't really care either way so I went with their sour which was pretty good. I ended up trying a stout (with Cocoa Puffs and PB Cap'n Crunch) and their festbier as well and while neither were GF they were pretty tasty. I did try their GF kolsch it didn't taste all that different from a gluten-ful beer. I figured I should have some food as well but their options were confined to empanadas. I thought two would be enough, but I ended up getting two more because they weren't quite enough. But, their beers were good and I could see myself coming back for a Happy Hour after I ate somewhere else.

Chetan P.

Yelp
I really enjoyed coming here! I got a flight and each beer was really nice. We came during a weekday afternoon so it was very quiet and chill. The bartender was really nice. The bar has boardgames and a cool disco bathroom. The peanut butter and jelly beer is worth trying. I will definitely come back sometime.

Yelp
I got the Oktoberfest. It was pretty good! Love the space. The schnitzel holy was sweet thin breaded pork was amazing. Fries were great with it. I'm bummed that I lost my real wallet inside but I hope someone calls me and let's me know if they find it. Service was great in here all staff did so well thank you for the service! I highly recommend

Yelp
On a long walk along the waterfront, I decided it was time to try a new brewery and was excited to see Black Hammer was on my way. It's a beautiful spot with ample outdoor seating, a fun interior with open garage doors for fresh air and natural sunlight, and even a brewery dog to boot! I loved all the green plants inside, which went well with the black walls and colorful artwork. I chose a table by the doors and ordered a flight. Their beers are beautiful and delicious; IPAs are well made and distinct from one another. It was a quiet afternoon with not many customers and people getting off work slowly coming in and out. It's also near a university, so the whole area has a friendly vibe. During my visit they had to move a pallet of supplies out the door where I was sitting, so I moved while they did that. I got to meet Reuben the brewer and chat about how much I was enjoying my experience there. The bartender was also great to share about the beers. I had a second flight since I enjoyed the first so much and just enjoyed the fresh air and sunshine of the afternoon. My issue here was a big one and one I'm still off put by even after a few months since my visit. I chose a few cans to-go as I was excited to share the beer with family and friends at home. A shift change happened and the new bartender rang up my tab: 5 cans plus two flights came to $110 not including tip. I was immediately taken aback by this and asked for a breakdown; it was then I got the feeling this was done on purpose to see if I would even notice because when I asked, the bartender immediately started removing items. I've had this happen to me in the past at other establishments and this always hurts especially at what was (up until then) a highlight of my trip. I did not purchase any to-go beers, but was given an "apology can" of my choosing, which in hindsight really did not improve how I felt about the transaction. My corrected bill including tip was $50 so this was not a tiny error. For the beer, I highly recommend this brewery (they do have other locations). For everything else, one person ruined it for me and I doubt I'd ever return.

Yelp
Came here for Wednesday night trivia and had a great time (go team SSD!). The trivia is a little different from the classic pen and paper, you have to download an app (make sure someone has a phone with decent battery), but the questions were fun and the host was a delight!
google avatar

Yelp
We visited this bar several times during our trip to San Francisco as it was one of the few places readily open during Covid so we were exciting that it not only survived but thrived! Granted we were there just as the Giants won and it was quickly packed but so fun ! It's a space, good music and a really good crowd. Service is quick and easy and their beer is good. Cool place to stop for a beer or two !
google avatar

Kevin K.

Yelp
Snagged a mid day flight that was delicious. Got to speak to the brewer and he was cool. Nice chill guy. Other staff was distant and not very engaging. For being the only person in the bar, its hard to believe they were too busy.
google avatar

Yelp
I can't say enough about this place! It was hot this past Sunday and I was heading back to the East Bay after picking up some things from the city. I decided I wanted a beer and searched for the closets brewery. I had never been to Black Hammer, so I decided to try it out. The bar tender was amazing. I ordered a flight of IPAs and he explained what each one was. He was engaging and made sure everyone at the bar felt taken care of. I really enjoyed the double IPA, Twin Galaxies, and the session IPA, Justin Case. The bar tender got me a growler of each to take home. Will definitely stop by again when I'm in the city.
google avatar

Mario M.

Yelp
Gluten-free or not, I thought their beer was really solid. (didn't even realize it tbh) I like their creative selection of beers, not the typical list you'd see in a brewery, so for someone like me who's not a hop-head but more of a Belgium beer lover, you wouldn't be disappointed! For a Belgian "STYLE" beer, I thought Sparkle Pony outshines every other same style beer out there.!
google avatar

Allister D.

Yelp
I came here last Friday afternoon and me and my friends had a great time. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, clean bathrooms with a communal sink, a bar with bar seating, water on tap, and friendly customer service. They have unique beers on tap with lots to offer. I totally recommend ordering a flight with 4 drinks and just going through each one. Their beer selection tends to rate from time to time but I do notice certain ones stay. I am a huge fan of this dark stout beer that is made from mole which was unique. I remember the mole beer being creamy, rich in cinnamon notes & spices, etc. I also enjoyed their Nectar of life which was crisp, refreshing, and bright. This makes a great beer for the spring/summer. Black Hammer is a good brewery for anyone especially coming with friends to enjoy good beers and chit chats. I recommend this brewery to people visiting the city.

Yelp
We popped into this lovely venue after running some errands nearby. I had no expectations for what I would find here, as it was a stop of convenience - I was interested in having a beer and food, and they appeared have both. When we arrived I found that the beer offerings varied across the ABV spectrum, from light lagers to a higher octane dopplebock. I had an IPA and the forementioned doppelbock, both of which were very good. The doppelbock in particular was the best of its kind I ever had. Unfortunately, some recent changes in brewery logistics rendered the empanadas I expected to be on the menu no longer available. This was a bummer, but the bartender said we could order in if we wanted. As we sipped our beers and discussed the virtue of this vs. going somewhere else, the bartender popped over to our table said he was ordering some Smashburger for himself anyway, and would we like some? We did, and thought it was above and beyond for the bartender to ask us this. So not only is the beer here awesome, but so is the service. If they were ever get their empanadas back, that'd be cool, too, but that is not foremost in my mind when I visit a brewery, much less this one, which is fabulous on its own.
google avatar

George G.

Yelp
Kept seeing this place show up on all my socials. It looked promising, but so do all social media posts. But this place backed it up. The amount of their own beers is impressive for their size. They must brew off-site too to have that many beers available. And they are all quality. Their Yelp rating is legit. They don't have any real food to speak of, but they let you bring in all of the outside food you want. Close to the ballpark. Gonna have to put this place in my rotation.
google avatar

Jason P.

Yelp
This was a good find. Excellent selection of beer. Yes, yes, they have munchies too, (not a lot), but they do have empanadas and some other snacks. I noticed some folks ordered a pizza to be delivered, so I'm assuming it's a-ok to bring in other food. I liked the varied seating in this place. They had some sidewalk booths, some tables by the window, and bar seating too. Loved the vibe of this place. They have a Drunk Trivia that I'm looking forward to trying some time. What a fun place to enjoy kicking back with some beer, or doing full-on tasting to figure out what your new favorite brew is.

Pete B.

Yelp
Disappointed. never got a beer. Call ahead on this one. I drove 24 minutes and paid a bridge toll and when I walked in they said they were closing early. I told the guy I was disappointed as I had driven to go there. he offered me a beer to take home, which was a nice gesture, and I was so pissed i declined (I like gettting flights). Lesson learned. Call ahead to confirm they are keeping their hours. I drove off and decided to go to Drakes Dealership in Oakland so it wasn't a total loss as they have consistently good beer.
google avatar

Jess B.

Yelp
Good, casual vibe & near the ballpark. Friendly staff. Clean bathrooms. Overall would recommend.

Yelp
Black hammer was a blessing when moving back to San Francisco and Into the neighborhood. It was a place I'd grab a quick drink during lunch, stop by to finish up some work at after work or just hang out with a few friends. Pretty good selection and the menu/offerings change often. The space is clean and cozy. Definitely have a flight or 2. Also, there are puppies.
google avatar

Cindy C.

Yelp
This is the brewery to visit when you're in San Francisco. The beer is delicious but my most favorite was the hazy boots & cats. It's a more standard NE hazy and it's delicious. The staff was super friendly and gave us all the local tips and tricks. The brewery owners dog Growler is also the MAN. He may slide up a chair next to you and ask for a few pets. 10/10 recommend and 100/100 recommend giving some love to Growler.
google avatar

Diana R.

Yelp
Returned as of end of December 2021 and they have remodeled a bit. Eli is still working here! Due to COVID, hours have changed but they close later than most breweries in the area (at least for a Sunday). Beers are tasty as always and have high ABV! Their house made Black Claw (not White Claw, the brand I mixed them up with) is super refreshing too!
google avatar

Patrick R.

Yelp
This place is a stand out. Combination is their solid beers and even better staff make it. Every time I come SF from Sacramento I make the effort to come here. There is a bartender Eli who truly makes this place a 5. He is a man who brings the ENTIRE place together for a laugh, for a cheers and for a good time. This man needs a raise! Overall location is right near all the other big breweries. No food but solid beers. Merchandise is also great as they have a shirt with "you are so beautiful" on the back that gets a ton of great comments. Really positive place to have a good beer.

Molly W.

Yelp
The beers we got were amazing and original! I got a blueberry sour and also got to try a smokey passionfruit lilikoi beer which was super interesting and smooth! This place has a very funky fun witchy vibe which we loved. And our bartender Connor was super welcoming and helpful!
google avatar

Jennifer K.

Yelp
I am not a beer drinker by any means but I love this place. They have great empanadas and their warm pretzel sticks with two kinds of mustards are my favorite. Onto the beer! I highly recommend a flight since you can taste a few different beers if your unsure like me. I love that the selection changes all the time and they are freshly canned on site if you like something you can grab a 6 pack from their fridge. I like sour beers that aren't fruity and they had a few options when I went. Our bartender was also incredibly friendly and even let us taste two beers out of our flight order. The resident dog is always so adorable. Remember to bring doggie snacks for him if you love dogs. He is super quiet and has the best puppy dog eyes! For those who are COVID conscious there is an outdoor unheated park let in front for you to enjoy your drink!

Christopher P.

Yelp
A wonderful brewery located in SoMa right in between Moscone Centre and the Ballpark, so it makes it a perfect spot to hang out before and after events in the area. I've even actually worked remotely from here during the day, as there's plenty of space, chill atmosphere, clean single person bathrooms, pop up food & empanadas, good free WiFi and - the best part - beer! The variety and beer list is always pretty comprehensive and gets updated quite often. One of those places where the bartender will let you taste any beer on tap if you don't know what you want (Nautilus and the Belgian blonde were awesome). I barely write reviews but I HAD to give this spot a five star because it's one of the very few places in SF that STILL ROCKS THE PATIO/PARKLET! This one's awesome too; with heater elements, some greenery, and comfy seats. Also they have events from time to time and their trivia and live DJ nights were great to check out too!
google avatar

Aurora L.

Yelp
Excellent brewery, great outdoor space .Excellent service. RACHEL was absolutely amazing. She was attentive, patient, even when it was busy. She worked hard and was kind and fun, even with our large group. A+ for Rachel and the awesome selection of beer. Did I forget the empanadas??? Do NOT skimp on the empanadas!
google avatar

Yelp
I've been to Black Hammer Brewing a few times now (okay, more than a few) and every time has been great. My latest visit was just this past week and was (I think) only my second visit during COVID times. I wasn't sure how busy it gets here lately so I erred on the side of caution and made a reservation - perhaps because it was a Tuesday evening, a reservation wasn't really needed since there were plenty of socially distanced tables both inside and outside. Tip: Bring proof of vaccination if you want to sit inside - like many other businesses in SF, proof of vax is needed (a digital copy is okay) There was only one bartender/server that night and she was fab, we even got to taste beers on tap before committing to a whole glass of something. My friends and I also ordered empanadas later on which were good, though one was more "deconstructed" than the others lol.

Yelp
Good beer but overtly racist treatment by the white lady serving us. She should not be customer facing. Definitely ruined the experience. Would not recommend this place or go back.

Yelp
First time here. Outside set-up was nice. We were greeted and seated right away. With COVID-19 we had to order a snack to eat so that we are able to enjoy our beers, no biggie; we got some chips. We ordered a flight of the beers that they have on tap. Not too many to choose from. Beers were not that good to be honest. Kinda flat and unflavored. Luckily they had a menu for beers to order in cans and bottles, they have a great selection. We got cold and purchased two of their hunter green hoodies. They were super warm and comfy. We will comeback again soon to give them another try.

Yelp
Do you like beer? Do you like cool art? Games? A dog that sits at the bar/other dogs lounging around? This place has it all! The beer is pretty tasty with fun names and some wild flavors (many come in a half-liter Stein), but the dogs, games, and art makes this one of my favorite spots. The one missing piece is that there's no food (but this is why we get the dogs!) so it's totally worth it to grab food elsewhere and get to pet a friendly dog instead. They're friendly about letting you bring in food too. Check out Garaje nearby.

Yelp
Excellent beers. Their Hella Sexy is the best lager I've had in a brew pub, like a Munich October fest and with no aftertaste you often get from brewpub lagers. Their Major Hazer is a smooth and well balanced triple IPA. Not a huge list of beers but what they have are all excellent. Cool atmosphere, good service and good prices. B Back again in December 2021. Beers are excellent. Very tasty hazy ipa and pale ales. Excellent belgian quad, nitro stout and double bock. Empenadas also are available and are good. Excellent service too. My number one brew pub in San Francisco
