First off, points for being a local merchant and having plants. The interior was cute, as expected, with a little haphazard nature to the layout. Unfortunately, the rest for me was so-so.
I went in at 2:55 on a Sunday, tried to order something decaf, and they couldn't do it. A bit weird for a coffee shop, but I rolled with it knowing I was mainly there to read. The service seemed a bit brusk, but I know that running a place can be hard, so again no hard feelings.
Literally two minutes after sitting down the woman who took my order came over and asked me if I had any trash she could clear. I'd just sat down and the only thing on my table was my drink, so I was like "no thank you?". She then said "Just so you know we're closed now" and walked off.
I'd come in just to read, and that had to have been obvious when I ordered. I was shocked they hadn't warned me. Plus, the drink wasn't anything I planned on actually drinking. So this was super disappointing, and the whole thing had a bit of a weird vibe. The place had 20 people who clearly had no idea either. They went around and kicked everyone out.
Hopefully, just an isolated incident, but it felt like an off experience, so I thought I should share.
