Blackbird

My friends and I had a great time at Blackbird. Chef Eric LeVine’s team was warm and friendly, and the food was excellent. We tried the monster burger, short rib ravioli, edamame burger, tempura shrimp, and the stuffed peppers. Everything was outstanding. Kudos to the Blackbird and 42 Hotel teams! I’ll definitely be back.

It was well worth the drive from Long Island to experience another masterpiece from the great culinary mind of Chef Eric Levine. A brilliantly designed, diverse, yet simplified menu with each dish displaying his signature flare. The ambiance was laid back but classy, and the staff was eager to help us achieve a pleasurable dining experience. I only have 2 thumbs but if I had more, they would all be raised to the heavens for this incredible restaurant in a beautiful hotel nestled in the heart of a premier neighborhood in Brooklyn. I obviously highly recommend.

Unbelievable tasting menu experience here last week. Featured an exclusive 11 course menu conceived and created by their celebrity chef and the menu pays honor to the borough’s extensive food scene. From Park Slope smoked salmon on an everything bagel to Sheepshead Bay baked clams, Coney Island hotdog with relish, Bay Ridge pastrami on rye, Brighton Beach knish.

Happy to share that Blackbird is a great place to share a meal with friends and family. As a vegan it's not always easy to find a place with options for me that are delicious and satisfying. There are several vegan appetizers and main course options to choose from. My first visit I ordered the grilled naan, the vegan taco entree, and the mango sorbet. The naan was superbly soft and the tacos were filled with mushrooms and broccoli rabe and topped with tangy pickled onions. Yum! I hope to be back soon to try the other menu items! I definitely recommend groups with mixed dietary preferences including vegans to dine here, plenty of options for everyone to enjoy!

Great atmosphere, great food, great service! Our server Mariam was very attentive and very friendly, making for a very nice evening.

Staff was very knowledgeable. Food was different but in the best way possible. I went with family and friends and everyone had different meals but everyone was happy! I got the pork belly and apple bacon with goat cheese on a gluten free bun and it was the best grilled cheese I have had in a very long time! Ambience is so chic and chill. Definitely gonna be the next new hot spot in Brooklyn! Can’t wait to come back!

Atmosphere was great ! The bartender was super friendly and and the food was amazing. We were even greeted by the great Chef Eric LeVine. Highly recommend.

Came here for both breakfast and dinner. The breakfast tacos were delicious and the food my friends had ordered also looked really good. For dinner I got the grilled cheese with some type of protein though I forgot the name, it was super delicious! Services was excellent and atmosphere was beautiful.
