Drinks:
Buko Gimlet ( #1 Favorite) - The refreshing combination of coconut cordial and Genmaicha perfectly complements the distinct pandan flavor, making this drink truly enjoyable.
Celery Sour (pineapple gin, lime, celery, vanilla, yogurt) #2 Favorite - The smooth, refreshing taste of the yogurt and celery combination makes this drink incredibly tasty and dangerously addictive. We could easily drink two or three of them.
Umami Old Fashion (bourbon, shitake, sesame, sugar, bitter) - This classic cocktail features a unique Asian twist, with the addition of shitake and sesame flavors. If you enjoy an Old Fashioned, you should try this innovative take on the traditional recipe.
Roku Tonic (Coffee Gin, Yuzu tonic, lime) -The presentation with the glowing lantern looks fantastic! The drink is delicious too, and the specialized coffee gin and yuzu tonic create a well-balanced flavor.
Food:
Beef jerky - The jerky was flavorful and moist, and the tangy Thai jaew sauce complemented it perfectly. The crispy Thai basil and pickled vegetables were a refreshing addition. This is one of my favorite dishes on the menu and a must-try when you visit.
Thai Spicy shrimp salad - This dish has a strong citric flavor, complemented by kaffir lime leaf and balanced with shallot and cabbage. It pairs well with drinks and makes a great snack for social drinking.
Enoki Tempura - The crispy mushroom dish was fantastic, especially with that chili vinaigrette. And the sauce was definitely a winner.
Tuna Crispy Rice -The tuna was fresh and the crispy rice was seasoned perfectly. The portion size was good, and the seasoning on the tuna enhanced its flavor without being overpowering. We really loved this dish.
Tum Yum Noodle - Seriously, that seafood broth is amazing. Tons of seafood, and it looks great too. Rich, golden, super umami - all those different seafood flavors really come through. And it goes perfectly with the egg noodles.
Dessert:
The Banana Meringue was phenomenal - the perfect balance of light and airy meringue and banana bread. We finished with that since the peach mousse was sold out, but we'll definitely be back to try it!
