100% honest review I was a little hesitant to try Bleu Bird. Because of the negative reviews. But i saw they were advertising "Wing Wednesday" and it sounded like an amazing deal. So I went in to try formyself. It came with 8 wings, a side of fries and a side of red beans andrice. For $10! Super good deal. My food didn't take too long to come out. But I did notice my food was ready and sitting on the counter for a few minutes because the crew was kind of hanging out and socializing. But when I tried the food. The chicken was HOT! And it had a good flavor. I ordered spicy and they sprinkle cayenne powder I think on the original. I enioyed it However for the sides. The fries were given to me very cold. I wish they dropped the fries fresh when you order them. But I'm pretty sure they have batches of fries sitting. And just fresh fry the chicken. I also read in other reviews. Fries were cold when they got them. They were just average shoe string fries. And the red beans and rice were ok. They were decent but weren't amazing. The beans seemed like they were a little firm. And there wasn't any hot link and a tiny piece of turkey in my serving I am giving it 3 stars. I appreciate the good deal. 8 pieces of Chicken and 2 sides for $10 is a steal. Especially in thiseconomy. But the sides definitely need some work. They need to upgrade the sides and serve the fries hot. I'd be back to try something else

Went about an hour ago, service was fast ordering at a kiosk DEBIT/CARD only. I tried to get the Korean sticky fried chicken without the fries but I dont think they give you an option. Sandwich was delicious 😋 I'd say lots of flavors, fries were just plain skinny nothing special. Also tried Cajun garlic parm sweet corn had lots of flavor the corn was delicious as well.

I did not enjoy this experience. At ordering, I found out that it's +$3 for breast. Wait, so it's $14 for thigh chicken sandwich? Who makes thigh chicken sandwiches?? Ok, ordered the Korean spicy. Sauce flavor is different but ok. But there's so much bread! First bite, where is the chicken? The breast looked like a bad McDonald's chicken nugget but thinner.. Sorry but this doesn't cut it for a $17 +tax sandwich. I rate this a 1.9/10 . Staff was nice so overall the place is 2.5/10.

Came here today. Um... it was just okay. The hype on social media is doing its job... so im happy for them on that. I'm going to talk about the things I liked first. The spot itself was very clean. Staff was nice & helpful. Its a NO CASH accepted spot... SUPER SMART for the area. Love that. I liked the "gumbo greens." They were greens with chicken sausage in a nice broth. Very tasty & original. I also liked the sweet potato biscuit. Very soft, and nice flavor. Also original 👍🏾. Where they lost me was the Mac & Cheese. My first time EVER only having a couple bites and not finishing it. It tasted like chicken bullion cubes. So did the chicken. No other flavor. FULL STOP✋🏾 That's a VERY VERY lazy (and cheap) way to season food. It also makes everything EXTREMELY salty. I cook at home and come from a long line of chicken hawks and macaroni mongrels. This is a big no. Season the food right... don't use bullion cubes. This spot isn't cheap. There wasn't a big line today but we got there early. By noon? Cars were stacking. I'm going to be honest if I waited in line for an hour and the food tasted like this i would've been PISSSSSED. I will say though back to compliment.. the chicken had a nice crunch and i could tell it was cooked in fresh oil. But Y'all gotta stop with the CB cubes bruh. Half the hood got high blood pressure... y'all are going to send someone to emergency fr with the sodium content. I drove REALLY FAR (over an hour) to try this spot, which i wouldn't have minded if it was a hit. Unfortunately for me? It's a miss. Bummer....

Some reviews are intense, but my experience was very positive. Ordered the Korean Sticky Fried Chicken and a 3 piece meal with the sweet potato biscuit and it did not disappoint! The breading of the chicken was flavorful and the chicken itself was juicy. The only downside was that the Mac n Cheese could use more seasoning, but the extra cheese helped. I will be back, especially for the sweet potato biscuits!

Where do i start? I walked in and there was only one person waiting. My sando took 45 minutes to make, and they gmhad my fries sitting in a box the entire time they were waiting for the sandwich so all of the fries were stale. After watching everyone order behind me and already get their food before me, i got my food and left, because there is nowhere to sit and eat here. The sandwich tasted good, but the in chicken waited 45 minutes for was only half the size of the sandwich. The taste is the only reason this review is 2 stars. No area to sit. No cash. No refunds. Disappointing. I really wanted to like this place.

The food and service was Amazing. I was greeted soon as I came in. Ordering process was easy. Food order was correct and she even double checked with me. Food was hot still when i got home! Seasoning on point mac and cheese was cheesing. Everything was so good I can't pick a favorite. Highly recommend!!!

Disappointed & Honestly a Bit Grossed Out My boyfriend and I ordered the 3-piece combo (roll was missing) with garlic noodles, gumbo greens, an original chicken sandwich with fries, and a sweet potato biscuit; just trying to support a local Black-owned business and our community. Unfortunately… a big mistake was made. The food was extremely mid. Two out of three pieces of chicken were barely okay, but the wing was completely spoiled; it smelled like rotten meat before I could even take a bite. I originally asked for all thighs, but was told no with an eye roll. I let it slide, thinking maybe the food would make up for the attitude… it didn’t. The garlic noodles were dry, the sweet potato biscuit tasted like orange chalk (dry and butterless), and the chicken sandwich was forgettable at best. The gumbo greens were the one highlight—good flavor, just a little too salty, and the fries were solid. But that’s about it. Now let’s talk about the customer service, or lack thereof. Not a hello, not a smile, not even basic acknowledgment. The large, light-skinned guy with freckles (who I assume is security but was also serving food) was incredibly rude; when I asked if my food was ready, he just stared at me and rolled his eyes. The girl at the front acted like customers were an inconvenience, and even the cook seemed irritated to be there. Note to the “chef”: Please check your chicken—it’s spoiled. Seriously. I will never be back. I honestly wish Legends Soul Food was still there, and that place was just ok. If this spot is connected to Court Café, management really needs to step in and fix these issues. It’s sad to see another Black-owned restaurant struggling, not because of the food concept, but because of poor quality and zero professionalism. A 3.2 rating from 56 customers in just a few months says it all. Do better!
