"You won’t have the White Rabbit to help you descend the narrow staircase to this eclectic underground restaurant and bar, but you’ll know you’ve made it when you spot the giant cat mural outside. If you’ve ever wound up at Blind Tiger, you were probably celebrating a friend’s birthday - this place is massive with glowing lanterns, loud music, and movies projected on the walls. You’ve most likely also been here for food after 10pm, since it’s one of the rare spots in Oakland that’s open until 2am on some nights. Their shareable Asian fusion dishes like massaman curry fries, ahi tuna poke, and pork belly baos are decent, and they have good cocktails and beer to wash it down." - Lani Conway

"Blind Tiger’s underground (literally) space is what late night eating and drinking in Oakland is all about. Located down a flight of stairs under Korean favorite Gogi Time, the hip and modern decor and pan-Asian theme is executed throughout. Enjoy the crowd pleasing massaman curry fries topped with braised beef, or step out of your comfort zone and try the fried Szechuan Pepper Frog Legs." - Rodrigo Ormachea, Ellen Fort, Janelle Bitker

Google
I love this place , and it’s used to be so much fun . We did came here for early happy hour so it was empty but did got filled up fast. The staff is really nice , love the interior design and chill vibes . There is k- fries chicken which is descent. They changed things around . To order the food you have to go up in the restaurant part of the kbbq . And you can eat as take out .. which kinda sucks but still pretty cool place .

Google
The food was pretty good. Slightly on the pricey side but worth it. We shared the burger, fries, chicken heart skewers, and poke. The poke had too much soy sauce. the rest was cooked well and tasted flavorful.

Google
Cozy basement bar with decent Asian fusion tapas and creative cocktails. I was surprised that it was in the basement at first. But I really liked the ambience, dimly lit, bench seating, TV/projectors playing, nice Japanese lantern hanging from the ceiling. The food here is pretty good for a bar. I recommend the Manssaman curry fries, oysters, and roasted meatballs with pineapple sauce. We also tried sending desserts, tres leches panna cotta and warm rice pudding, both were nothing special. We got a burnt rice pudding but the waiter was nice enough to take that off the bill. Tips: 1) Come here for the oyster happy hour (5-7PM every day), so worth it! 2) Early bird happy hour 5-7PM Sunday through Thursday only

Google
The resturant and bar are seperate, both are great. The resturant was laid back and had many delicious food options. Servers were quick and polite. The bar was downstairs and had a very cool, artsy atmosphere. There was a variety of unqiue cocktails and the bartender was kind and quick. Overall I would recommend both spots.

Google
Loud and expensive. I was not too impressed by this trendy place. It was extremely loud and I could barely hear my friend next to me. We ordered a bunch of tapas as our meal. They strictly adhere to the Asian Fusion style with their food. Some was tasty, some was just weird. My favorite was the lamb potstickers. I will not be going back.

Google
I like the place it's a chill vibe the entrance is downstairs. I ordered a drink called the Kori-Sour Tiki and it was tasty. They have a menu to order food also.

Google
Nice space, roomier than I was expecting. My friends and I had a great time (table of 14). Interior has cool murals and beautiful paper lanterns hanging from the ceiling. The brussel sprouts and curry fries were delicious, drink selection was also decent. Note that it's below ground level - so cell phone reception was terrible for me, but I used the guest wifi when I needed it and had no other issues.

Google
I was disappointed by Blind Tiger. The interior is pretty hip and walking downstairs get you excited about a great meal to come, but I found the food to be boring and the service lacking. Everything on the menu sounds great but the execution left a lot to be desired. The one exception was the longbeans - these were hot, hot, hot!

Thuy Dan T.

Yelp
Sad to see this place needing to close due to new construction. The spare ribs were delicious. Cold noodle was decent too. There was really great shaded patio seating outside as well. Hope they find a new location!

Yelp
Blind Tiger is great place to get a quick drink and also some quick Asian fusion foods. First thing I did notice about the place it down in the basement with hallways full of street art which is really a plus because of the Bay Areas huge graffiti culture. Once you enter you see the bar right away and gives you straight forward instructions that it is indeed a bar and you pick your food and drinks at the counter. There are projectors that show movies/shows which is great for entertainment purposes. My wife and I came during a Monday haha but overall which made it all the better because we were able to experience everything with ease. No need to worry about busyness or people standing or even just the hustle and bustle background noise. For sure on from Wednesday-Saturday must be busy but the experience overall was nice. Food I'd say was good. It could have been great but most of all the foods we ate after the first bite it was good but as we continued eating we noticed it was indeed pretty salty and some foods were mushy. We did love the big portions they served and the huge bites of spam in the musubis and Kimichi fried rice. All and all the place really is great! I'd recommend going on a down time day like a Monday! But I'm sure it would be busy later in the week from Wednesday-Saturday

Yelp
Another great experience at Blind Tiger! Truly a nice underground spot. My hubby and I went there for a quick bite before seeing Anita Baker on December 23rd. The deep fried oysters still remain my favorite! The service is always good, ambiance is fun, drinks are cool too... I'll definitely be back again!

Saher D.

Yelp
The "spicy" fried chicken sandwich was a decent size, but it didn't really pack a punch. Instead, it was actually flavored with a sweet and tangy sauce. Not what I expected, but not bad. The sweet potato tempura stole the show! They came out piping hot and crispy. I definitely recommend getting these. The food was good, but I would mostly come back for the ambiance. The space is quite large and there is a gorgeous warm glow created by lanterns hanging from the ceiling. There are also several projector screens that show movies and sports games. Overall, a great spot to come catch up with friends!

Marcy S.

Yelp
This place has fun and funky decor and vibe. Really nice. I used to come here regularly but noticed over time the menu and overall food quality wasn't what it was. I still went back several more times but it never seemed to recover. They have a great beer selection and a full bar so still fun for drinks and apps.

Erica L.

Yelp
I only tried their drinks, and both the Jabberwocky and Fuego Strawberry Margarita were amazing! It was quick, well-blended, and tasted great! The interior was super chill and aesthetic. I liked the dim, subdued dining area on one side, and the more lively picnic tables and high top seating on the other. Because it was in the basement, it was a bit chillier. I would definitely come back for their drinks, and I'd like to try their food in the future.

Veronica C.

Yelp
Came here few years ago for my cousins bday & I loved everything about this place! The food, drinks & the atmosphere. I love that they play movies, so you can eat while you watch. Their set up reminds me of a picnic like setting but if you want a more private area, they have a room towards the back you can walk in to. I came here just recently maybe a couple weeks ago. We ordered ribs, pork belly baos, fried chicken, kimchi pancake & I'm not sure what the name of this dish is called but it had rice with either beef or pork. I was sad to find out they no longer serve the Brussel sprout. Overall, the food is DELICIOUS & I would most def. come back again! I brought my son here & has asked to come back which is surprising bcos he is a picky eater. Downside-- parking lot is small & it gets packed. But there is side street parking.

Yelp
Food was standard, service was kind of dry on monday, the ambiance is probably the best part about the restaurant Blind Tiger, definitely caters to a younger age demographic, but I think anybody can appreciate a nice dinner at this location The food is great, but the environment is even better, I loved my time spent here at Blind Tiger

Sapphire D.

Yelp
Blind tiger was once one of my favorite spots to eat when in Oakland, but it's changed a lot since covid. There's no table service, they're marketing themselves as a BAR, NOT a restaurant. That was definitely emphasized by the bartender during our last visit. What made our visit even sadder was the fact that all of our food was served in to go boxes. I get it, you're a bar, but I know plenty bars that serve food on actual plates. 3 stars is for the still very cool ambience, however still less cool than the days they'd have a Dj in the place spinning cool music. This place have so much potential, bring it back to life!

Elesia S.

Yelp
Haven't been here since they first opened, and this was definitely a night and day experience. My girls and I came here for some evening eats, and when we walked in, most of the tables had the dishes and trash from previous guests. Oh, and the trash cans were overflowing, so it was a treasure hunt for a table While the food items sounded amazing, they fell short in taste. The crab rice had a ton of pineapples, that were bigger than the protein, and squash that just felt out of place. The bartender was friendly and helpful and honestly what saved the experience . He helped us get sauces for the fish and chips and made sure we had everything else we needed.

Yelp
Bar is located in the basement Open from 5pm-2am Restaurant is located street level This review is for the bar only Nice well stocked bar Bartenders are nice and efficient Tons of seating available Several televisions located inside 2 big screens (no sound due to music) Good music playing !! Nicely decorated 5 stars for the BATHROOM!! Ladies bathroom was extra clean Smelled like fabuloso !!! If you are in the bar/basement You order food from a different vendor (Tik Dak) see that review Parking is behind the venue I saw broken glass on the floor Sooo not sure what that was about BUT my car was fine while I was parked there Cant wait to come back and try the restaurant part

Liann A.

Yelp
Updating my review as of October 2021. Love that Blind Tiger is still here, they have both outdoor seating and their indoor basement level. I feel like the menu changes every now and then but came here on a Friday night looking for my Brussels sprouts and curry fries but they now have a pop up kitchen- TikDak, a Korean fried chicken/food place. You can sit anywhere and go to the bar to get your drinks-- full bar, can't go wrong with a beer, cocktails (jabberwockee), shots, you name it. And there's a line for food. TikDak- we got chicken wings, tteokbokki (rice cake), cheese balls, and onion rings. I think it was like more than $50 worth of food and we needed the drunchies to soak up our alcohol haha. But the tteokbokki was fresh, and warm and not too sweet! The cheese balls were hella good, and the chicken wings were crispy. I really enjoyed it. They still have projectors projecting movies or videos and just a chill spot off Telegraph.

Yelp
Used to be the spot for tapas and drinks. Now it's an empty shell of what it once was

Yelp
Outside seating is available and they have heaters! Parking is hit or miss as this area gets fairly busy on weekends. This review is only for the outside dining experience - there is apparently a completely separate and different experience to be had inside and downstairs! Time limit for all you can eat is two hours. Usually there is a time limit for the tables too but the night we went, they said not to worry about it and let us enjoy as long as we wanted. We wound up sitting there for five hours!! All you can eat is totally worth it. Comes with most items on the menu. Just make sure you decide in the beginning. My friend ordered a couple of apps before I arrived and then we decided to do all you can eat but they wouldn't let us include the pre ordered apps because they were a larger portion than the AYCE sizes (which is weird because we could just order two of the AYCE and it'd be the same portion). We had all different types of meats, veggies, corn cheese, sauces, etc. overall, great meal!!! Desserts - we had the crime brûlée and tiramisu. The presentation was great but unfortunately, the desserts were not what you'd expect crème brûlée or tiramisu to taste like. Birthday - The staff gave us one of our drinks on the the house for my bday. So nice!!! Staff - all of the staff was very nice and attentive, even when they got busy they still kept checking on us. They never told us our time was up or that we had to leave, even when it was near closing time. Very good customer service! Hours they open for dinner at 5 and close up by 10. Make sure you arrive early for a table on Friday and Saturday because you may run into a lengthy wait depending on time of arrival.

Tiani N.

Yelp
I hear you're closing tomorrow as the block you're on is turning into a high-rise building )-: made so many memories here and always had a good time, thank you for everything!

Nancy H.

Yelp
Very good drinks and food . Nice spot to get away ! Literally !!!! No signal My gooo too

Nora F.

Yelp
This place was so fun! They project movies on one of the giant walls and were playing an older anime film - nice choice! The place is huge! Indoor bench style seating, bar stools, plus a little enclave with traditional tables. It makes me wonder if they have dance nights? They have a decent beer selection, and the bartender was nice enough to give me tastings. The wings were de-lish!!! Not overly drenched in peanut sauce, and just the right amount of crunch. The zombie fries were bomb too!

Yelp
I was here awhile back for drinks, regular spin on bar food, nothing fancy. Fast service and cool decor.

Yelp
I've been here a few times in the past but have yet to write a review. The inside was gorgeous with hanging lanterns but now during COVID times, they set up the outside parking lot with seating areas made of wood. There are benched areas where you can eat with your friends and it serves food from Blind Tiger and the Korean barbecue joint next-door Gogi time. The food is as good as I remember. I went with a group of seven for a birthday party. We ordered almost all the appetizers from Blind Tiger. The brussels sprouts look deceivingly simple but were super tasty and probably one of the best brussels sprouts I've had considering I've had it at many different places. We also got the pork belly baos which were very yummy; you get three per order. The corn cheese was tasty too! I would skip wings though. The Massuman curry fries were super good (must get - it's like a Thai version of poutine fries). The kimchi fried rice wasn't my favorite since the rice was a little bit mushy. Also tried the Galbi soup which was clean tasting with huge chunks of galbi short rib. The cocktails are still just as good as I remember, especially the strawberry margarita and the Kentucky Georgia! You can order shots as well (which we did for the birthday girl before she even got there ) but they can't make other cocktails outside of what is on the list (tried to get an Old Fashioned). We also ended up getting the soju bomb and that grapefruit beer they give it with is SO GOOD. It's COVID so I'm glad they were busy on a Monday night! They do take reservations. Although we did have to flag down our servers a few times, they're working super hard and I really appreciate all of the bus boys and the servers! I'm happy to come here now even though it's a little bit different than before.

Lynn T.

Yelp
Tried their spicy pork and it was SO GOOD! It has a small hint of spice, the pork was juicy and tender. It was really tasty with the spicy and honey sauce they gave! The spicy pork came with rice (your choice of white or purple) and banchan. The banchan was ok, none of the sides really stood out but it was nice to have. I also ordered the Madras Fried Chicken again and loved it! It's a must when I come to Blind Tiger.

Yee Aun T.

Yelp
Dont be swayed by the location or vibes of the place. The food is actually really really good! We also had some great mocktails. I'd recommend the pork belly buns the most!

Lionel C.

Yelp
This is solely for the bar and venue, not the food pop up that also shares the space. High props and strong dabs to the uber cool bartender who came to help me get water from the cooler because he noticed I was still hobbled by my knee injury. He even brought the water back to the table for me. On another occasion when I wanted to tap into a brew (yeah, bad pun), another bartender was quick to give me the extensive beer and drink list and facilitated a couple of samples. He was also very diligent and patient while working to set up the Warriors game upon my request on the mega screen when it was hard to find on their sports provider page. Speaking of mega screens, they're one of the few places in the Bay Area that offer multiple projection screens to catch the big games, which can be viewed from anywhere in the seating area thanks to their massive size. The seating is also ample, so it's a nice venue for a meet up as well.

Anthony D.

Yelp
Super duper chill spot right next to Gogi Time KBBQ that you take a flight of stairs down to get to. Nice ambience, very much a more intimate bar setting. Went here on a double date after dinner and had a few cocktails, really solid time! Loved the lighting and the hits of iconic Oakland trademarks art pieces on the walls. Would definitely recommend coming here, drink list was diverse and bartenders were attentive.

Anaya O.

Yelp
This place is in my neighborhood and I often see the parking lot crowded so I wanted to give it a try. I went on my birthday. The food was okay, most of my guest didn't care for it. The drinks were pretty good. The bar is spacious, the only thing I didn't care for is the fact it's in a basement so my phone received no service the entire time I was their. It was also very dim inside like a dungeon vibe, not really my style. Great place to take a sneaky link.

Azucena R.

Yelp
I made the trek here on a cold night after not being indoors at a restaurant since the omicron surge. I'm not sure when the space split, but now you can only get the Blind Tiger menu outdoors upstairs. The downstairs now feels like a fast food joint with overpriced drinks. When I ordered at the bar, I noticed that the bartender served the drinks in plastic cups. When I asked about drinkware, he said that they were out. $13 a drink in a plastic cup? Never again. The pop-up food is ok. Your food is served in plastic containers on a tray like at a mall. It's sad to see how the pandemic decimated the restaurant industry. The glory days of this once excellent downtown spot are long gone.

Rose C.

Yelp
My goodness gracious *insert sweat emoji* what an experience! Some friends expressed interest in visiting the Blind Tiger for a birthday meal. In traditional fashion, I called last minute to see if they could accommodate a large group of over 8 people. I didn't think they would, but we were able to get a reservation. The guy I spoke to on the phone was really nice, clear, and polite! I was so grateful to him for getting us in. Parking here is dreadful, and so we did the "Drop and go" and half our party showed up to check in while the other half meandered around the area for viable parking. When we arrived, we checked in and the hostess (who was warm and smiley) was aware of our party and had us stand to the side to chill and wait as our area got prepared. It was a chilly night and it seemed to be outdoor dining only. After 15 minutes, we got seated in a tented area with two long tables and benches. We all fit comfortably, and got our menus. It was essentially downhill from here. We had a young server who was clearly way in over his head for a large party. He seemed a bit erratic, nervous, and had a hard time following our orders. We started with apps - brussels, cheese corn, kimchi pancake, curry fries. By the time this guy got around the table, the other side of the table was ready to put in our actual meal orders and so we had him come back around to put it our meal orders at the same time. Ordering took close to 15-20 minutes total with him repeating everything back to us incorrectly after we just told him what we wanted LOL. I'm usually pretty patient but at this point half the party was exasperated and I was too. Turns out he still forgot to submit like half the orders and had to come back and reconfirm once again, then go back and put in the other half. We got mostly all our apps except the curry fries, and one guy ended up walking up to the bar to pay for them separately (and apparently this counted as splitting the bill, but we didn't know) so he could get it to-go and leave, as he had another event to head to. Doing this didn't solve anything, as it took another 30 minutes from then to get his fries, and this was after everything else at the table came out. He was livid, but got his fries and left. My friend and I ordered the spicy pork and a tofu soup. Both these things should be eaten with rice. We didn't get the rice for about 40 minutes and we ended up asking several other servers since ours went MIA. I think we were there for about 2.5 hours. Overall the food was pretty tasty, except it all came out at varying times and so some things were cold, soggy, etc while others were hot and fresh. Another server did eventually come by and refill our water for us and he apologized on behalf of the other server who showed up towards the end of the meal. I think I would visit again, but maybe with a smaller party and hopefully we're seated in a more visible area so our server doesn't forget us :P

Emanuele C.

Yelp
The food was absolutely incredible. The drinks were pretty good too. I wish they had table service instead of having to go up to the bar but over all great experience. I liked the vibe inside. They played Netflix movies in huge screens while we were there.

Ryan W.

Yelp
Landed here after a long starving road trip back from LA. Can't believe I've never been here before. Not sure if it was the travel delirium but this place felt magical. Flavors and variety were on point. On the house appetizer plate was a nice touch. We were blessed enough to get the grand tour by one of the owners, who happens to be an all around awesome individual. BBQ brisket was my fav of the meats you grill. But honestly can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Service was friendly, attentive and not annoying. Ambiance was perfect, intimate and fun without being pompous. Recommend doing all you can eat because a la carte adds up fast. First time at this style restaurant and feel like I've been missing out. Favorite Bay Area Korean BBQ!

Jessica S.

Yelp
Fun spot to get some drinks and food on your night out! They have huge screens playing sports, and its casual but still nice. Food is decent- you can get korean food, wings, fries, bar food. Not a bad choice to start your night out!

Ruta N.

Yelp
I contemplated about reviewing this place I dislike, giving small business low stars however this needs to be addressed. I'll start with the good stuff you walk into the place and the ambience is beautiful. Nice big space walk into the bar we were greeted by a nice gentleman who told us we have to order food and drinks from the bar and take our plate to where we're sitting. We decided to go to the restroom wash our hands come back we were greeted by another bartender, who was a nightmare from the start, we let him know we're waiting for the other gentleman, and he immediately got offended and we should have seen the red flags immediately! we honestly were hungry ready to go sit down to eat. We should've known it was a red flag from the starts. He didn't know the menu didn't want to explain what the food was extremely rude and very immature, he kept saying how come, we didn't know this place, why we never been here and what planet did we come from to make a long story short we order food the confrontation stop there The young man keep going back-and-forth with me. He was telling other customers how I didn't know the food and basically making fun of us! He kept insisting his being sarcastic, the whole time he was being absolutely rude and racist! At this point our food comes, we decided we don't want to stay at a place we didn't feel comfortable and safe, we asked for refund and the manager which he pointed at a random gentleman sitting by the bar ended up being a customer who observed everything ! At this point I'm talking to the 1st bartender to get the manger and give us refunds which he did immediately! It's too bad because we came from the city to try something new which could have been great! Unfortunately it didn't happen. Hopefully this young man doesn't chase other customers away for your business.

Timothy F.

Yelp
Sorry if the food names are wrong I couldn't find them on the added menu. The food is in good portion and they were all tasty, however they tasted pretty common within other Korean food places in the Bay Area. The flavor of the kimchi side was delicious, but the other included sides for the table were a bit flavorless, the chicken sandwich was almost perfect in my opinion the flavor was great and texture was amazing as well. The bim bim bap had a little too much sesame oil, the pork belly bao buns were alright. Presentation was beautiful tho. I've had the kbbq here and I'd much rather do that instead of eat from the menu here. The parking lot is kinda sketch, not a long wait during the weekend, the servers were very polite, the majority of everyone here chose the all you can eat, great choice!

Lai L.

Yelp
After a fun day in SF, we decided to have dinner in Oakland. There aren't many places open for dining out during COVID, but I came across Blind Tiger/Gogi Time while searching through Yelp! I have been to Gogi Time pre-COVID, but never Blind Tiger. They really made this dining outside thing happen with using the whole parking lot. There was so much space! Once we got there, we were seated shortly. The waiter gave us paper menus and they had so many options! It was getting a little chilly in the evening, so they turned on the heat lamp. After not dining out since shelter in place, this was a wonderful start! The music and ambiance brought me back to pre-pandemic days. We ordered drinks and food like we've been deprived: Three appetizers, an entree each, cocktails, shots, a pitcher of beer...our tummies were happy! The food portions are pretty generous, so we all had plenty of leftovers. The bill was a little hefty, but we ordered way more than we could ingest. It was a great experience overall, and there were a lot of staff on deck. I can't wait to return.

Mel S.

Yelp
**Open for outdoor dining and takeout during shelter in place** What a combo! Blind Tiger and Gogi Time have joined forces to create a marvelous duo! Both locations have shut down the joint parking lot and spread out some covered tables for dining and entertainment. With this duo, you have drinks and food from both Blind Tiger and Gogi Time. With their continued Korean fusion theme, there are so many options for food and drinks in more of a sharing / tapas kind of style. I've now been here 3 times and would love to keep going back. This place was particularly great during the heat wave we had as the tables were covered and the drinks were cold. Staff all wears masks and keeps a distance. The check-in table has hand sanitizer. Diners are to keep their masks on if not at their tables. Tables are safely distanced away from each other.

Brenda G.

Yelp
Came here before and after dining at Gogi Time and ordered a few Flor de Desierto. It's such a good cocktail! Def recommend. Also the staff was friendly and laid back and the bar has a cool underground feel to it.

Breanah A.

Yelp
I loved the food here . It was nice and fresh made to order . We were confused where to go at first. But once we walked down the stairs and seen the menu we were more at ease. It was dim lighting in there. Almost like a club but enough light to where you can see your food . I had a chicken sandwich and baby ! That thang was thangin! I was so happy . I was scared if I was going to get full or not. I almost couldn't finish it! We also had the ribs and purple rice. I love the rice . Dont be scared of it ! Its just purple guys! I had a spicy margarita I'll probably try something different next time . It was too spicy for me . I couldn't really enjoy it . Best part is no cell service ! Not a thousand people video taping and camera lights on. You can live one night without your phone! I promise! Good vibes ! The staff was so nice as well! Im a sucker for good service !

Paul P.

Yelp
Reliably chill service, great drinks and interesting menu. There's even parking. Legit

Marjan N.

Yelp
I was looking forward to the ceiling lanterns, but the outdoor seating with bbq is a better idea! Ventilation please! Had the all you can eat menu. Everything we had was good but nothing really stands out as great or poor.

Romy I.

Yelp
This place is so cool! Great atmosphere though the food is pretty unremarkable - lots of greasy meat in sugar sauce or deep fried meat thing but hey that's how Oakland stands now. Only downside is that it attracts a lot of basic people since it has easy parking. Usually you can tell a place sucks if the yelp reviewers mention easy parking but this isn't That kind of place. Nice place to take a date but get lots of napkins as your face and fingers are gonna get greasy!!!

Haasith S.

Yelp
I wanted to take my girlfriend to host a surprise diner and I saw plenty of vegetarian options and it had cool looking lanterns. Little did know, this was mainly a bar and most of the food was at Gogi Time which was a kbbq spot which isn't a vegetarian friendly spot. Pros: lanterns Cons: bad food selections and confusion with menus Value: 2 Service: 2 Ambiance: 3 for the bar Taste: 2

Sunil S.

Yelp
Came back to Blind Tiger for a second time (the first time being pre-COVID). One of the big improvements in my opinion is that they turned the car park into an expansive outdoor seating area. It's not the most well designed from a decor point of view but it is nice to have all that space to hang out in (and realistically, parking in that lot was always a bit of a zoo given how popular this restaurant and Gogi Time are)! Couldn't really go wrong here - we enjoyed the bibimbap, as well as the LA Galbi Short Ribs. The brussel sprouts were tasty but a little sweet (blame the vinaigrette?). My wife and I shared a Flor del Desierto cocktail, which was light in taste and floral.

M S.

Yelp
Really creative, delicious food, but menu doesn't change much as I recall. Nice service. A bit overpriced, probably due to their cool/artsy ambiance. Basement space

Yelp
Pre-pandemic Blind Tiger was theeee shit. Night happy hour? Amazing. Now they share a menu with the Korean spot next door, and such limited menu. Apparently they have the full menu outdoors and not inside, which is part of the appeal. Haven't gone back since I tried the Korean spot/mix menu and it was so limited and not good. So sad. Hope it goes back soon. Duck hearts and garlic noodles were an easy fav btw

Yelp
This hidden gem is located between Gogi Time and the Billiards place. There's a beautiful mural right before walking into this aesthetically pleasing restaurant located in the basement. It's pretty spacious with plenty of seating with the most beautiful decorations and lights! I was in awe on how cute this place actually is. Customer Service: 5/5 I've been here a couple of times and have sat at the bar every time. The bartenders are usually really friendly and quick with your order. Never had an issue before. Food Quality: 5/5 We got oysters and pork belly baos as quick bites before playing pool and not disappointed one bit. The baos had pork belly, hoisin sauce, lime sauce, and jalapeño inside such fluffy bao buns & oysters were really tasty. As for drinks, their Georgia Border is my absolute favorite with the perfect hint of sweetness. The dehydrated lemons or flowers that they put on top of drinks are such a nice touch as well. Overall: 5/5 I really recommend this place for a mix of sophisticated and laid-back restaurant/bar setting with delicious bites and great drink options. You can even play pool then come here or vice versa or even grab dinner at Gogi Time next door. Regardless, stop by here and you'd see why I talk highly about their decorations and those bao buns!

Yelp
I expected to see the interior of the restaurant right when I walked through the door facing the parking lot. Imagine my surprise when I'm greeted by dark walls and a mural so beautiful I legit called Blind Tiger the following day to ask who painted it (save yourself the call, it's Ernest Doty). I made reservations on Yelp for three for a Tuesday evening, but there really was no need. There was a good number of people present at around 7 PM, but the place was not packed. I was sort of spooked by the fully garbed skeleton propped up at the host stand, but soon enough a flesh and blood human being with great taste in glasses popped up and asked if I wanted a table under the lanterns or the house. Both have their own charm, and are Instagrammable, but I opted for the lanterns because of the spacious picnic table style seating. My friends and I got the following: jabberwocky - 11 fuego strawberry margarita - 11 sprite - 3 fried chicken sandwich - 14 plain fries - 6 curry fries - 14 tuna poke - 16 panna cotta - 8 molten chocolate cake - 8 The jabberwocky was such a beautiful drink in terms of color and garnishing, and the tequila gave enough of a punch that I didn't want a second cocktail. Fresh from a trip to Oahu, the tuna poke brought back great memories and I really liked the addition of the taro chips to add a light crunch. I needed more carbs, though, and opted for a side order of their plain fries. Not much to say about plain fries, but the spicy aioli sauce livened it up. The panna cotta and molten chocolate cake were also presented very well, but weren't anything super special. While I normally prefer chocolate desserts, the panna cotta won me over with the cardamom flavor. Honestly, the panna cotta was more like kheer than any other panna cotta I've ever had, but still a sweet way to end the evening. A few other recent reviews for large parties have complaints about service. I'm not sure if BT is understaffed, but my friends and I experienced something similar. It was hard to get a hold of the person who originally seated us and also took our order. Instead, we had to flag down a completely different waiter to check in on our order. Everything eventually came trickling out, but not without some effort on our part to remind waitstaff of some of the items. That said, I would definitely come back for happy hour with friends. The space is truly beautiful and the dishes are pretty thoughtfully curated.

Yelp
Awesome food! The service is different... ignored at first, then 3 people check on me, then they forget my drink order... appetizer came after the meal? Odd... I had a wonderful meal and to go containers were a nice quality. I strongly recommend this place, but know what you want and direct the food & drinks accordingly (e.g., I want my appetizer first, drinks to arrive together). Compliments to the chefs and to the builders of the beautiful outdoor space! Could be lovely for a date, or a large group!

Yelp
First time and won't be the last. Parking is an issue and it may seem a little sketchy but once inside and you head down the stairs I can't believe this restaurant/bar has been here and for how long? Stays open late and has food. We had the wings, pot stickers and shrimp tempura. They have a vast selection of alcohol including one of my favorite tequila's. Excited to head back. It was music playing and a lot of people hanging out.

Yelp
Was underwhelmed by the expensive food :(. great bar and drinks and great ambience but service and food left me disappointed. Firstly my order was wrong and I didnt realize that until I picked up my order, that is on me for not double checking. The takoyaki is very very doughy and does not hold its round shape. I'm sure these were the frozen takoyaki balls and not made from scratch, as the frozen ones are always soggy texture. The crab croquettes are Spanish style croquettes and not like the Japanese ones I thought they would be. The veggie pancake was also more of an American pancake with some green onion on top. The batter used was closer to normal pancake batter and not what is usually used in Asian pancakes that are savory and thin and fully of veggies with the batter used to keep the veggies together. All my parties rice dishes were also very mushy and overcooked... I would pass on the food if I came here again.

Yelp
We came here for the happy hour and I would say that the drink we ordered was a strong one. You wouldn't need to spend so much just to get tipsy and our bartender was awesome!!! We ordered a whiskey sour and only ended up paying $5 since it's happy hour.

Yelp
Not sure what happened the last time we went here but it was a straight up rip off son. We used to love this spot. Hadn't been in a few years and tried it out the other night. First of all the crab fried rice was mega over priced. It must have been canned crab and cheap canned crab because it tasted like cat food and there was way too much pineapple. $24 no thanks pal. Then the wings, had to be frozen from Costco and were not crispy just tuff. $18 no thanks bud. Drinks not that good. Cucumber kimchi was lit but prolly made at Koreana Market. Sorry guys, step yo game up and stop rippin foos off!!

Yelp
I went back and the food wasn't as good (the fried chicken was super dry) but their COVID set up was fantastic. They had individual outdoor booths with heat lamps and portable hibachi grills. Overall, I want to to commend them for great service and accommodation to the situation at hand.
