"The name says it all: To dine at Bliss is pure euphoria. In an intimate space with just 52 seats, this Southtown restaurant offers a dining experience you won’t soon forget. Mixing hearty classics with Southwest-inspired cuisine, the menu ranges from braised beef short ribs with buttery mashed potatoes to vegetarian enchiladas stuffed with roasted butternut squash, cremini mushrooms, zucchini, bell peppers, eggplant, and cheese. Appetizers are equally enticing, especially the Japanese hamachi sashimi tostadas and the oyster sliders, served with candied bacon on buttermilk chive biscuits."

My daughter and I had the pleasure of dining at Bliss for the first time on 5/8/25, and we were thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service and exquisite cuisine. Our server, Candace, was professional, knowledgeable and lovely, ensured that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. We began with appetizers, including sashimi tostados and oyster sliders. The sashimi was remarkably fresh, with a delightful crunch, while the sliders featured a delicate biscuit and a fried oyster, which was an unexpected yet delicious twist. The beet salad was truly the pièce de résistance, with firm, sweet beets, acidic orange, walnut, and freshly ground pepper, all combining to create a dish that was nothing short of perfection! For our entrees, we opted for short ribs and a combination of red fish with parmesan polenta, as recommended by Candace. The short ribs were succulent, with bursting flavors, while the fish was moist, balanced, and featured a crispy skin that rivaled crackling bacon! We concluded our evening with a warm cup of coffee and a 20-year-old tawny port. Bliss has consistently demonstrated exceptional culinary expertise, and our experience was a testament to their enduring excellence. Thank you for being the "cherry on top" of our trip to San Antonio.

Google
Absolutely impeccable experience. Hands down one of the best restaurants in San Antonio. The service was phenomenal, and everything we tasted was a 10/10 – the beet salad, shared ribeye, corn fritters, and cheesecake. Every bite felt thoughtful and elevated. The whole night felt like a Michelin-level experience. They made our anniversary feel truly special – couldn’t have asked for better.

Google
Service was remarkable. Our server Lico was very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Food was delicious. Smaller portions (think fine dining). The oyster sliders were incredible for an appetizer. The octopus was the best octopus I've ever had. The Pork and Beans as an entree special was the star of the show and the butter cake for dessert was out of this world. Would highly recommend.

Google
Awesome experience! We celebrated our 2 year anniversary here. Our server was outstanding he managed several large tables and us and we never felt neglected. Fresh food, good vibes, great service—it all allowed us to really let go and enjoy each other’s company and be in the moment!

Google
I would definitely come here again. The food and service were outstanding. I had the short ribs, which were excellent. My wife ordered the vegetarian bowl, and OMG… it was incredible! I could’ve eaten that (I ate 1/4 of it) for my meal and been very happy. For appetizers we had the corn fritters, octopus, and hamachi. The corn was fine, the octopus was good, but the hamachi stole the show. Get it! Dessert was solid too. Most of the table got the butter cake (outstanding… like a strawberry shortcake). I ordered the panna cotta. It was extremely sour. If you at it with the coconut topping it was perfect, but there wasn’t enough coconut to do that. For someone who loves sour, this was too sour. My only surprise and very minor disappointment of the evening was learning Bliss doesn’t have full bar. It’s “beer, wine, and bubbles” only. I would’ve liked a cocktail, but they did have some interesting sake. While this restaurant was not inexpensive, it was far lower priced for the value and quality than I’d have expected. I’ve paid far more for less at very nice places before. 10/10. Definitely will come back.

Google
It was really a great experience. We went there to have a family dinner because of recommendations. The food was so good we were dining outside, they give you blankets and the weather was pretty warm that day. The service was great, server was attentive and nice, asking how was the food and making sure we’re enjoying our meals. I would definitely go back and I recommend this place if you haven’t been here yet, one of the best restaurants in San Antonio!

Google
Got to try things I don't see on a typical menu. The sea scallops were the best part of our experience. Amazing atmosphere!

Google
This restaurant was a very nice experience. From the customer service to the food there was nothing I could complain about. At first the parking situation did put me off but I'd happily would've walked a mile to get to that restaurant. I started with the Arugula salad, had braised short ribs as a main course, and ended with the butter cake. The staff was incredibly attentive but not so much that they were overbearing. It was such a nice relaxing place to enjoy your food and the people you went with. It really was pure bliss.

Yelp
I don't know where my friend found this place, but I am so glad she did! I am even hungry again as I write this. Four of us went on a girls trip to San Antonio to visit the Riverwalk. She had told us that she always likes to visit one fancy restaurant during every trip she takes, and she chose Bliss for this one. We all decided to walk from our hotel to here, which was about a mile each way. You wouldn't know there was a fine dining place such as Bliss based on where it was. It was hidden, and kind of around some sketchy areas. We eventually saw a basic sign on the corner that indicated this next lot was for Bliss parking. We still questioned us being in the right location despite maps saying you're coming right for it. Even the name was basically hidden and indicated very small on one of their glass windows. The business is fairly small, so make sure to snag a reservation. We noticed an older clientele here, at least for the majority. Two of us ordered iced teas and another friend ordered wine, and another one ordered a cider. Our server, Mary was outstanding. We have never had someone so good in quite some time. She even figured out that one of our group members was dairy free and took extra care of her, explaining each side and toppings and what not was going on any dish she ordered and asked if it would work or if she would like to substitute sides. We started with the corn fritters appetizer which came with chili butter, some cream and some cheese. It was delicious! I wanted more as there was enough for one of us to have a piece each, but we had more food to come. Three of us ordered the duck foie gras. I never had foie gras! It came with a strawberry salad side and some sauce to smear the duck in. It was SO GOOD! We all polished off our plates. Our other friend was going to go with the red snapper but it included risotto which had some kind of dairy involved. She ended up going with the scallops and replaced her sides with the spinach and asparagus options Mary gave her. She absolutely loved her dish as well. If that wasn't enough enjoyment, they brought out dessert menus. We all wanted something different. Mary immediately told my friend that their dairy free option was a choice of a berry sorbet (I forgot the details), and orange sorbet, and an avocado lime ice cream. Then she offered to have her try all three. She was set. One of my friends went with the chocolate bar dessert, another friend went with the butter cake, and I went with the lavender goat cheesecake. If you know me well, I am a huge fan of lavender and goat cheese and they just combined the two. The bite of butter cake I tried was amazing! It was hard not to get that. We all polished off our desserts. Everything tasted amazing here, and I wish it was not so far away from me. I'll be dreaming of it forever. Also again, Mary was an amazing server, one of the best I have had.

Yelp
My dear friend treated me to yet another amazing restaurant I hadn't been too. Bliss definitely blew me away. It was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Our waiter Brett was very knowledgeable on all the menu items and gave excellent recommendations. One thing that really stood out to me was on how another server came out to place our entrees down and apparently the plates weren't facing the correct way. I asked Brett what the difference was he stated none of your food should be hiding. You should be able to see it all when placed in front of you. Such a small detail to most but I personally love to learn little things like this. Tony the Chef graciously visited our table multiple times and made sure everything was ok. He even sent a complimentary item to our table that was totally unexpected and delicious. My highlight... never say never !! This was my first time trying frog legs, which I've said I never would. Glad I did, they were delicious. The mashed potatoes were insanely good! I needed more of that Went perfect with the nicely prepared ribeye. Everything was fantastic! Can't wait to go back. Pay them a visit if you haven't. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Bliss NEVER misses! This was my 3rd visit (it's been several years since my last visit) and I brought along a date who had never been but had recently said he had visited a few steakhouses and had been disappointed. Usually I'd be nervous bc I want everyone to enjoy the places I select but I knew Bliss would deliver and did they ever! We started with the pork belly (we ate is so quickly I didn't have a chance to get a picture ) and he was already saying he couldn't wait for the rest of our food if the appetizer was that amazing. In total we ordered the pork belly, octopus, tenderloin, duck, and butter cake and we couldn't have been happier. We could only get a reservation for the outside area which was a first for me. They did have a table inside but there was a wait but considering I had never sat outside I figured it would be a new experience. It was a chilly night in SA but Bliss had heaters and blankets which were already at the table (how hospitable!) and we were surprised how quiet it was considering we were right off the road and it was a Saturday night. Our waiter and the rest of the staff were as superb as the food and the chefs! And I love how they did double check with us before taking our plates; I'm a "strong last bite" person so it's great they didn't assume I was done His steak was PERFECT and how he was pleasantly surprised at the quality considering it's not a full on steakhouse. And although it was a hard fought battle amongst everything we ordered, my duck did win "plate of the night" bc it was both beautifully presented and delicious. My friend told me we will definitely be back soon and suggested we bring his brother who is a boujee foodie. Thank you Bliss for another incredible food experience!

Yelp
This restaurant is amazing! I am so glad we decided to leave the River Walk area to try it out. About an 8 minute Uber ride. Everything was delicious. Our server was friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself is very cool looking inside, and appeared to have a large outdoor area also. The oyster sliders were amazing. Fried oysters on fresh little biscuits, with candied bacon. I could make a meal of those!

Yelp
What a fantastic gem! Delicious food doesn't even begin to describe this place. Our server, Lea was so knowledgeable on each menu item and helped us make outstanding choices. Each staff member seemed to work as a team. My water glass was never empty. We sat in the back room which has this great painting of the Chisos mountains, where we just visited for our honeymoon. Call it kismet.

Yelp
This place is legit! Just beer and wine but they have a solid list of both wine and beer.

Yelp
Good food, fresh & unique but extremely small portions. Prices are higher than typical, and service lacks a friendly touch. Decor and vibe is lackluster and boring. Really nothing is missed if you skip over this experience, and way better options in a 3 mile radius

Yelp
This is a nice place to take a special day home made food Come try this place with family friends great staff and clean environment great food service great if your looking for some different try it out.

Yelp
FOOD & DRINKS: Great dishes to choose from. Enjoyed the charcuterie board and roasted bone marrow quite a bit. I liked how there was the option to choose the meats, cheeses, and small bites for the charcuterie board. Fish was perfectly cooked and wasn't dry nor was it overdone. Braised short ribs were very tender to the bite. Main entrees could be a bit too salty for those who are used to a low sodium diet. SERVICE: The server was nice. Helped with the wine list and recommended a really good wine for our order. AMBIANCE: Good for small and medium groups. There's a bar area and a dining area. The brick interior design was gorgeous.

Yelp
I've been coming to Bliss for about ten or elven years. They've been around for about twelve years now. This cozy yet elegant dining spot is a true gem in San Antonio's bustling restaurant scene. The food is absolutely amazing. Every single dish is consistently on point! Absolutely delicious! The service here is top tier as well. If you looking for a spot to make someone special very happy, or if you just want to make some amazing memories for yourself, Bliss is the perfect spot for you! Here's to many more memorable meals in the future here. This is true bliss @ Bliss!

Yelp
4.5/5 The ambiance is dark and cozy, making a lovely setting for a date night. The service here is so amazing. I cannot understate how much water I can glug down and somehow, my glass was never less than half full the entire evening. Our server was very apt with her descriptions of the food and helped us choose a combination of appetizers and great entrees. - Oyster sliders 5/5-- what Bliss is known for, a must-try. - Japanese Hamachi Sashimi 4/5-- The sauce was applied with a heavy hand and overshadowed the quality of the sashimi. - Short Ribs 5/5 so tender, so flavorful - Lockhard Quail 4/5 I thought this was such a fun concept but ultimately was too salty for my taste. This place is pricey but worth the elevated experience for a special occasion. I will surely be coming back.

Yelp
Bliss is a hip, new American restaurant in San Antonio. We came here to celebrate a birthday and ordered several dishes to share between the three of us. Ambiance and the vibe is industrial, exposed beam and brick. Design esthetic is clean and simple. Food was innovative, interesting and we enjoyed the dished we ordered - Scallops, Duck breast, Braised & charred Spanish octopus, Oyster sliders, Lion's Mane mushrooms, Tips: We needed a reservation. This place is good for sharing.

Yelp
I took a close friend to experience Bliss for the first time and Bliss was perfection. The hostess and bartenders were extremely welcoming. We were sat on time and had a great view of the kitchen. Brett our waiter was awesome from the second he introduced himself. The entire staff was extremely attentive the whole evening. Brett was so knowledgeable of every dish and introduced them in a way, that you wanted to try them all. We took his recommendations and had the perfect dinner. Tony the chef came to your table and was kind enough to send over a complimentary dish to taste (which was delicious). The entire evening was perfect, the food was mouthwatering, the atmosphere was perfect, it wasn't loud, and it was pretty perfect. Brett and Tony...Thank you!!!! See you guys soon!

Yelp
Had a very pleasant experience at Bliss. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was excellent, with a seasonal menu. Would've liked to see a little more variety in the drink menu as they only offer beer wine, and bubbles. Restaurant itself was nice with a relaxed environment, not too uptight like other high end restaurants. Not quite Michelin quality but very good nonetheless.

Yelp
Wow! Wow! Wow! What can I say. Bliss lived up to everything said about them. The service, the ambiance, the attention to detail, the flavors! Oh my goodness! My taste buds have exploded! My husband and I came here with some good friends that came in town and I'm so glad they picked Bliss! Service 5* Great service, very well mannered staff, made you feel like you are someone important! LOL Ambiance 5* I love the dim lighting, it really gave an intimate appeal, not like a rushed experience. Which, be prepared to dine for close to 2 hours. It's wonderful to not feel rushed and have time between courses. We sat inside but the outdoor patio looked fabulous and I will definitely pick outdoor dining next time we come. Food 5* Everything was mind blowing. And I can stop there and feel like I've said enough but I'll keep going. I tasted a little bit of almost everything brought to the table and all of it had such rich flavor profiles! The plating was gorgeous, and the horseradish mushrooms with the beef short rib were what dreams are made of! The caviar with the snapper . . . DEVINE! If all you ever do is visit once, you can die happy, but if you're a greedy foodie like me, you'll need to go back a few more times!

Yelp
Had a lovely anniversary dinner here. I already had high expectations for this restaurant that I had been wanting to try for a long time, but it definitely exceeded them. The restaurant is elegant. our service was wonderful, and the wine selections were spot on. There are multiple dining sections which helps set the ambiance and reduce sound transfer. All of the food was 10/10 amazing, and I am hoping to be able to return again sometime soon and trying some other items. The oyster sliders were amazing and I could have ate multiple rounds of them. The tenderloin had pickled cauliflower and delicious shishito peppers on it, are you kidding me! So good. Scallops were buttery perfection. Definitely a great dining experience from start to end. Highly recommend!

Yelp
You've probably spotted Bliss in Southtown and have made a mental note to check this place out. This is your sign to call 210-225-2547 to make a reservation right this very second!! My friends and I had a phenomenal experience at Bliss. It was everything we wanted and more! The quality of food and service was next level. The hostesses and our waiter were really down to earth and kind. But the food, oh the food!! Let me tell you what we got.. For Starters, we got the "Brown sugar cured soy glazed pork belly musubi, seasoned rice, cucumber, carrot, tomato", "Braised & charred Spanish octopus, crispy potatoes, white bean puree, avocado, scallion powder, 24 radish, coriander dressing", and "Mahi Mahi Ceviche, triple citrus marinated, jalapeño, bell pepper, avocado, plantain chips". Dude.. so good. The octopus was perfect. You MUST order it! The ceviche was great, made with orange juice so it had a nice twang to it. It came with plantain chips which aren't the easiest to dip with, but it was great just eating the ceviche with your spoon. The pork belly I wouldn't order again - it wasn't bad, but it did stand out compared to the other apps we got. For our entrees, we got the Georges Bank Sea Scallops, Braised Beef Short Ribs, and Beef Tenderloin. All were amazing. So so delicious. If you like seafood, get the scallops! If you're in the mood for beef, I'd lean toward the short ribs, but you simply can't go wrong. For dessert, our waiter recommended the Butter Cake and thank God he did. I had never had it before, but damn, there's a reason they're known for it. Get it with a coffee!! We also got the Goat Cheese Cheesecake to split, but didn't like it as much. (And the Butter Cake was plenty for three people, especially after how much we ate). Overall, we had a lovely time, dining and catching up for a couple hours. This is perfect for a special occasion. I look forward to returning!

Yelp
We had dinner here during Culinaria and it was fantastic. The oyster sliders were small but absolutely delicious. I also really enjoyed the flavor of the scallops although they were a little salty for me and also it was a very small portion. This is not too surprising since I ordered off the culinaria menu that the portions were a bit on the small side. The quality and flavor was still there so I was pleased with my meal. Luckily they brought plenty of bread to supplement my meal. Others at the table ordered the Wagyu supplement, the short ribs and the hanger steak and their portions were all more substantial and they all enjoyed their food. Last but not least, the dessert. I'm not a big dessert person and would normally skip it but of course I ate it because it was included with my culinaria menu. I had the chocolate dessert and it was incredible, so decadent and not too sweet. My husband had the butter cake and it was also absolutely amazing. I would have a hard time choosing between the two. Service was attentive but not annoying, just perfect. Will absolutely be back!

Yelp
What can I say? I'm in town for work and decided to try their restaurant week menu and it blew me away. I haven't had a good meal like this is while. The older I get the less that I eat which causes me to have leftovers. The meal I had here was so good it didn't matter how full I got I wanted to keep eating. The Octopus was the biggest stand out. So good. I will definitely come back to eat here again.

Yelp
What an amazing dining experience! From the moment we were greeted at the door until we left, the service was impeccable, the food delicious, and the presentation a work of art. Our waitress Mercedes anticipated our every need. The place itself is brick walled with comfortable seating and reasonably quiet atmosphere - you could hear your table companions without difficulty! One in our party was vegan, and they had a delicious mushroom appetizer as well a vegetarian dish with farro and veggies that was made vegan. The rest of the party had scallops, duck, and snapper main courses. Each dish was beautifully presented and contained a combination of flavors and textures. The butter cake for dessert was to die for- rice and flavorful. The sorbets were delicious- rich flavors. Overall, loved the meal, the service and the atmosphere. Pricey but worth it.

Yelp
We went there to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. The service was wonderful. Food was amazing. It is an upscale fine dining. We shared the sweet sesame fried mushrooms to start. The "shareable 16 oz steak" from the chef's specials list was $125 which my husband was able to eat easily by himself. Beautifully done medium rare. The side of steak sauce was unnecessary. The scallops were so soft and tender. Both were highly recommended.

Yelp
Bliss is always amazing! Their charcuterie is one of the best in SA. Our favorites are the red fish and the scallops. If you are visiting this is a must try.

Yelp
I am SO in love with this place. Fantastic is an understatement. Chose this place for my birthday dinner & they exceeded my expectations. Parking is super easy, gps takes you right there. Make sure to look back at the tower before you walk in because it looks even more beautiful at night! You can bring your own bottles for a corking fee. Bread and butter is divine. So tasty and simple. I don't think you could truly go wrong with any of the starters here but I would 10000% recommend getting the sashimi tostadas. They're is SO much flavor in such a small bite. Our appetizers were truly an experience. I probably could have just eaten 2 orders of the tostadas and called it a night. Amazing selection for entree, presentation was beautiful for the dishes we got. Dessert was just as amazing as well! Our server was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and patient. Thank you! Looking forward to dining in again.

Yelp
I reserved a Chef's Table for my husbands birthday; from start to finish, the experience was incredible. The staff was attentive to our every need, the food was unique and delicious, they made the surprise as seamless as possible on my account. We just couldn't be happier! The guests raved and raved at how good it was! Thank you for making it such an enjoyable evening for us all!!

Yelp
My friend was in town and we have been wanting to try here - so glad we made it! We had a great experience for dinner with our server Brent. There were three of us and we started with the octopus, ceviche (server recommended), and the pork belly masubi appetizers. The octopus was my favorite, with crispy potatoes underneath that even my friend liked who usually doesn't like octopus/seafood. For the entree, I had the beef tenderloin which was stacked with onion rings and came with braised cauliflower that was the best I've ever tasted. Definitely not bland! For dessert we got the goat cheese cheesecake and the butter cake (also server recommended) and we could've just gotten the butter cake. It was so light and not too sweet and perfect with a cup of coffee. The cheesecake was okay but veryyy thick. Bliss is in a cute house atmosphere and I really enjoyed our dinner. A lot of fun for a treat or special occasion.

Yelp
I wanted to love this place. There is ample parking. The Hostesses were friendly and polite and as our table was not quite ready, seated us on a lovely outdoor patio to wait. The wait was short. We were taken to our table and our server was attentive and personable. Even though our drink orders had been taken, another server stopped by the table just to make sure we had been served. The ambiance was just right for a long awaited date night. We are not big eaters so husband ordered the Scallops and I had been jonesing for the Short ribs since I saw it on the menu online. On first presentation, our impressions were positive. While the scallop entree is smallish (only 3 scallops) the short rib entree was plentiful and husband always eats half of mine anyway! Unfortunately the downfall of the evening was when we tasted the food. While the carrot and the snap peas were fresh and delicious, the potatoes were so salty they made my mouth pucker and sadly, the short-ribs had braised past the point where they would have been succulent and juicy and had the texture (and flavor) of sawdust. Husband's scallops were likewise over salted and I noticed that while with the help of a lot of water, he finished my short ribs, he did not finish them. Very disappointing dinner! I will say, the butter cake dessert was good. The cake itself is very basic but the raspberry topping was really good. Overall, nice people, great atmosphere. Just don't eat here!

Jessica P.

Yelp
I will dream of this food! Came to visit, and this place is so delicious we had the pork belly masubi to start and we inhaled so fast didn't even get a picture! But the scallops were cooked to perfection, not a bite was left!

Yelp
We spent our anniversary dinner here and are from out of state. This place has a lot going for it and we wanted to give it 4.5 stars but didn't have that option so we gave it a 4 for a few reasons. First off, the service was impeccable. Our food arrived quickly and we didn't do much waiting. Our server, Brett, immediately greeted us and wished us a happy anniversary. The food was amazing. My husband had the oyster sliders which he loved. He said he could 25 more because they weren't any bigger than a quarter. Brett explained each dish we ordered and how each item on the plate paired with each other. Really explained how best to eat our food. We loved hearing about each ingredient and why they were paired together. I had the arugula salad and it was the best salad I've ever had. Then we had the bone marrow with tenderloin tartare. I was a little intimidated by the tartare but it was delicious in flavor. The end of the bone marrow was a little cold but once we got to the center and the meat and marrow was warmer, it tasted much better. Then we ordered the duck foie gras. That was delicious. the foie gras tasted much better than we anticipated. The duck was so tender and the salad and accompaniments all came together nicely. The food was exceptional and out of our 4 anniversary dinners we would rate this the second best only behind the Idaho raise tomahawk steak we ordered at Prime Steakhouse on St. Thomas for our first anniversary. For dessert we had the butter cake which Brett talked us into as we were thinking of the chocolate cake The butter cake was delicious and all the components made it what it was. The cake alone probably not but all the accompaniments is what made it. The place was a nice and charming on the inside very rustic and slightly industrious. It was almost like eating on the side of an Italian restaurant with all the brick walls. The only drawback to this night was our table had some sort of sticky substance on it before we even sat down which I had to clean with my napkin and glass of water because it was sticking to my forearms which makes me believe they didn't do a good job of cleaning the table before setting it. The second was for the price of the food, we wish the servings were a little more. It took 5 plates of food to fill us up. But I guess we were paying for quality not quantity. Overall a fabulous 2-hour culinary experience and the second best on our marriage journey thus far. We would definitely return another time.

Yelp
If you want to do the chef's tasting menu ($150) make sure you call the restaurant ahead of time to let them know! The portions for the tasting menu is incredibly generous, I was super full by the 4th/5th course out of 7 courses. My positives: the risotto, the tostada, the octopus, the interior decor/atmosphere My negatives: the fish was dry, the tenderloin dish pairing was strange (the tenderloin was good, just didn't like it with the other items on the plate)

Yelp
My, oh, my. Based on the Yelp reviews, I knew I had to come here. I was in town for work and didn't know the area and stumbled upon this place. It's the real deal. The best meal I have ever had in my life. From the service to the taste, it was perfect. I started with the octopus and it was perfectly grilled and had a great smoky taste. The sauce and potatoes that accompanied it was amazing. For my main course, I ordered the short rib. It sat on a bed of mashed potatoes and was literally fall off the bone. It was perfectly seasoned and at the perfect temperature. The absolutely shining star was the desert. It was a citrus tart and consisted mainly of grapefruit with some yuzu cream. Wow oh wow wow wow. This dessert was to die for - the gold flakes accentuated the decadence. Highly recommended! I'd give six stars if I could.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. I found this place during a search for a hot spot with high reviews. It was well worth the short Uber ride from downtown!

Yelp
What a Spectacular Meal! I highly recommend going to Bliss for an indulgent culinary adventure. We shared a romantic meal with three of the best appetizers I have had in months. First, I cannot extoll the virtues of trying the frog legs. If you have always wanted to try them, pick Bliss as your starting point. They were cooked to perfection, the crust light and flaky and the sauce, oh my! What can I say but the very best combination and will blow your socks off and make you want to lick the bowl. I would put these hands down as the best I have had - which says a lot since we have dined all over the world. The Mahi Mahi Ceviche was a wonderful balance of flavors, contrasts and epic mouth feel. It had such a wonderful citrus brightness with just the right amount of acidity. The Snapper Crudo was bright and the pears and strawberries were a fantastic addition. To finish off this wonderful experience, we had the Chai Tea Ice Cream Sandwich. The ice cream was smooth, creamy and just right to balance with the snickerdoodles and the toasted sesame seeds. The white chocolate miso sauce just escalated this over the top. I have never said this in my countless reviews, but would award the chef and staff with a 6th star. Fantastic, thank you!

Yelp
I read the menu for this restaurant and knew it was a must do experience. The staff was fun, energetic and professional. Started with the appetizer special-lions mane mushrooms...just wow! Entree-sea scallops and they are spectacular. Had the pleasure of sitting at the bar and watching beautiful charcuterie plates roll out. Dessert ...I'll update. The wine list is so much fun. Something for everyone by the glass or bottle. What a very cool space. Bright, inviting, just beautiful. If you ever expand to Houston...I'm there. Great team. Thank you for the hospitality Brittany, Mercedes, Dorian and John. Can't wait to see y'all again soon.

Yelp
Unlike anything I've ever experienced before. We came for a birthday dinner and went with the Chef's Table option. It was exquisite. The service is wonderful and every member of the staff was above and beyond. Getting to experience a meal in the kitchen was one-of-a-kind. Lovely space! Highly recommend!

Yelp
The cilantro risotto with the redfish was some of the best I've ever had. Beautiful balance to the dish. The wine selection was good. The service was excellent on a Saturday night. Very friendly people.

Yelp
Brought my family here, because they were intrigued by the scallops. This restaurant did not disappoint them at all. From stellar service to delicious food, I highly recommend trying this pace out. Food: I would have to say the appetizers are my favorite! We asked our server for recommendations, she recommended the Japanese Hamachi sashimi tostadas and grilled octopus. My parents are a huge fan of seafood and they loved both dishes. The hamachi was refreshing and light. It had the perfect amount of spice to balance out the acidity. Octopus was grilled to perfection, it was tender and succulent. For entrees, we shared the braised short ribs, duck, and scallops. The braised short ribs was so decent, nothing too special. I would say the dish was quite salty though. The star of the night would be the duck! Very tender and flavorful. Overall, great place to hangout with your friends and family.

Yelp
Great service and great ambiance. You can see why this establishment makes the list of romantic places. I made the mistake of ordering the special when trying out a new restaurant. I began with the charred octopus-which was so heavenly-every bite orgasmic, but so small, even so it eclipsed my previous fav José Andrés Bizarre Meat charred octopus by a long mile. The bone marrow was covered with a topping distracting from the bone marrow. I wanted to get the Branzino but got the special of the kurobuta pork chop. It came sliced but anytime someone slices my dish it comes out dry, I would prefer a whole unmolested kurobuta pork chop with all its wonderful fat attached.

Ambiance: CHECK Service: CHECK CHECK Food: OH HELL YES!! (Check;) Run, don't walk. Be sure to ask for a suggested wine pairing, because the wine suggested w dinner was gorgeous The arugula salad to start was a plate of joy. I had the diver scallops, he had the vegetable bowl, both were to the moon. My husband practically purred. Dessert was the butter cake. OMG, the butter cake!! Pure BLISS!

Yelp
Lico delivered exceptional service in a welcoming environment. While the bone marrow I ordered didn't particularly stand out, the overall experience, especially the service, makes me inclined to return. :)

Yelp
The service was amazing and they definitely go above and beyond, and work together as a team so impressively! The Leek soup was also amazing and I wish I could go and get it on all the rainy days.

Yelp
Chefs Table Experience: The staff were beyond gracious and most accommodating! From the moment we showed up and every step along the way was incredible. Candace was so charming and funny! She really made us feel like we were royalty. The food and food service was amazing! This was our first time at your restaurant but will definitely not be the last. Again, thank you for accommodating our small party and making it a night to remember!

Yelp
Hidden gem! The service is unmatched; friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and engaged. Our son made reservations for his Homecoming date and we decided to grab a table after seeing the menu. The ambience is perfect for both a first date and for a romantic dinner with my wife of 35 years. The charred octopus is the best we've ever had and the menu will take a few visits to totally enjoy, not because it's too extensive but because every item creates mouth-watering cravings. We won't miss any. Bliss is it!

Yelp
Had an amazing date night at Bliss last night! This restaurant is super swanky, with a nice mix of modern and industrial decor, but in a cozy comfortable sort of way. It is quite small, so I would definitely recommend reservations. The service was top notch and the food is just out-of-this-world! Everything was perfect - from flavor to texture, to the presentation and amount! Nothing was missing nor overdone...it was food art in its purest form! Our tastes were tantalized with every bite, and I think I even did a little happy dance in my chair every time I took in a new scrumptious morsel into my mouth. We tried the oyster sliders, arugula fig salad with goat cheese, scallops, and quail, and chocolate bar for dessert! It is definitely a special occasion kind of restaurant, but every foodie should try at least once!

Yelp
Food is excellent. Expect portions where you're expected to do a 3 course meal. Really fresh and interesting dishes. This is fine dining and priced like fine dining.
