I came here after dinner in Fells, and it was such a cool, swanky vibe—definitely not what I expected from a hotel bar in Baltimore! Drinks were good and reasonably priced, but it did take a while to get our order in. We didn’t have to wait for a table (even on a busy weekend), which was a win for our group of four. Great spot for a date night or hanging out with friends. Giving it a 3.5 but rounding up because the vibes were good.

Google
Nice service, and my table was ready in accordance with my reservation time (not always the case with certain places). The ambiance steals the show. Great vibes for a business or casual conversation, that’s not centered exclusively around dining. For a bottle of sparkling water, a cocktail, and a mocktail, I paid $40 before tip. The cocktail I got tasted like medicine a little bit. The one with vodka that’s $14. I had to add my sparkling water to make it palatable. The mocktail was cool, not sweet and not super memorable. The cocktail my friends got, though, was SO good. It was green in color and had froth. Get that for sure. Moderate street parking.

Maybe the best looking bar I have ever been to! Best one in Baltimore for sure. A decadent cocktail lounge in Hotel Ulysses, Bloom's is host to near-nightly happenings, inspired cocktails and sublime eavesdropping. Bloom's is a stylish ode to the gentlemen-only bachelor apartments, combining the art deco glamour of its 1920s glory with the irreverent revamps of the '70s and ’80s. The result is a decadent cocktail lounge of glitz and grime, a place where dreams are sublimated and angels and sinners find communion.

Bloom’s exceeded all expectations! The reservation process was incredibly smooth, making it easy to plan our night. The staff was genuinely friendly and attentive, adding a warm touch to the chic, upscale atmosphere. Their creative cocktails were both visually stunning and delicious, and the menu offered delightful surprises that made it perfect for a special celebration. Whether for a romantic date night or a memorable birthday, Bloom’s is a top choice for a refined, enjoyable dining experience. Highly recommended!

We were lucky to walk into this bar late on a Sunday night and get 6 seats at the bar (after nearly being turned away, but a group left). Very small, very limited seating and apparently no standing room. The decor gave me 80s Russian Chic, tho my friend sees 40s Art Deco... I dunno it is definitely unusual. Also, no food was available at the time that we arrived other than some nuts. The staff was generally quick and friendly. I only had time to try one drink from the small menu, but it was very tasty. The Fue Mejor was a tasty margarita with a nice smoky flavor. Others in my party were more impressed with Blooms than. I was, but I will certainly return to try it out again.

This was my second time at Bloom’s after having a great experience during the first one, which was when they had just opened. It was nice to see that the place is popular these days and all the drinks we ordered were delicious (Midori Sour was my favorite!). However, it seems like the service did not really keep up with the expanded clientele. It took a long time for them to take our order and even longer for the drinks to arrive. I’ve also ordered their almonds (which were great!), and those took super long to arrive as well. Not a huge deal but I think they can do much better. The flashy decor/ambiance gives this place a unique character and the place has a lot of potential!

Google
I visited two weeks ago while in town visiting a friend. The first night we stopped by without a reservation and found it was standing room only. The place was so cute that we decided to come back the next night with a reservation to get the full experience. In hindsight, we probably should’ve moved on after the first try. The second night, we were seated without issue—but that’s where the positives stopped. We waited over 30 minutes just to be acknowledged by a server. Another table sat down after us and was greeted within five minutes. We ended up flagging someone down just to place a drink order, and unfortunately, the drinks weren’t worth the long wait. After finishing them quickly, we waited even longer to cash out. By the end, we couldn’t leave fast enough. The ambiance is definitely cute and makes for great photos, though that excitement was short-lived after being told there was “no flash photography.” Overall, we were really disappointed, especially after giving the place a second chance. Hopefully others have a better experience than we did.

Google
The bartenders were very kind and helpful! The drinks were quickly made and were delicious. We also ordered the olives and they were very tasty too. This is a very nice place that gives off a vintage Miami vibe as there are upholstered lounge chairs, mirrors, and palm trees made of mirrors.

Yelp
We made a reservation 1 week out for his spot for a Friday evening. I love this bar. The ambience and vibe reminds me of a 80's bar. The music is also very disco. The drinks are pricey but well worth it, very delicious. The bar is located inside Hotel Ulysses to the right. Highly recommend if you want to have a good time, retro, with good music and good drinks. I also recommend making a reservation in advance since they tend to be booked the majority of the time and its hard to get same day reservations for even couples.

Yelp
Bloom's is a nice addition to Hotel Ulysses. The bar is pretty small, so make sure you plan accordingly if you have a large party. The decor is very sexy, dimly lit, & intimate. We immediately grabbed seats at the bar and kindly waited for the bartender to greet us. Strangely, the bartender did not give us menus right away. When we finally asked for a menu, he told us "oh there's one over there". Another woman had it in her possession, so it was just weird that we were expected to ask someone for theirs (hence my rating). Any who, after browsing the menu, we actually ended up ordering a craft cocktail that wasn't on the menu. The bartender made us a mezcal cocktail with apperol, chartreuse liqour, & peppercorn garnish. It was delicious! The bartender also recommended another speakeasy in the hotel called The Coral Wig, which was actually more of a vibe. Our cocktails were good at Bloom's & I think it may be a good spot for date night. However, if you want a more alluring experience, I would suggest checking out The Coral Wig.

Yelp
Such a sexy vibe ..... I need to slide in here on a date ... my bartender was great entertaining my random conversation ... my drink was delicious it was a whole experience in a glass .... When I ordered it I had no idea it would be on fire..... yasssss.... Wish I had more time. I ordered the Circe's Song and you must sip from the glad for the happy mouth explosion ..... I promise you'll love it.

Yelp
They had a cute Epoch tasting as well a pop up crafted cocktail station. The drinks were tasty and the bartenders friendly and knowledgeable!

Yelp
Bloom's is such a cute spot! However, be careful -- there's a little stoop when you're walking to some of the booths and I definitely almost fell lol. Anyway, the aesthetic was nice and the service was great! I knew in advance, but food options are very skimp and my friend and I ordered almost everything. I wasn't a fan of the mushroom pastry dish they had nor the crab dip (I sent those two back). However, the fries were good and my friend enjoyed the olives. The drinks were also good and super strong! I had the French Martini. It's not a great place to take photos because of how dark it is inside, but that's the point and the vibe is still great.

Yelp
Loved this interesting bar in Mt Vernon! Went by on a Friday night around 8pm (without a reservation) and they were able to seat us at the bar. If you're coming with a group of people would recommend making a reservation, by 9pm the place was packed. There is a $50 reservation fee online (for no shows). The bar staff were polite, and for the most part were pretty busy getting the orders in. They have some great cocktail choices and some small bites (I loved the French fries!). We paid $35 for two drinks and fries. Ambience is fantastic - the music is not too loud, low lights with a red tinge, and cozy seating makes this a great place for a date night or a friendly get together. The bar is on the smaller side, just something to keep in mind.

Yelp
Bloom's is for the grown and sexy! It's dark, it's mysterious, it's upscale, it is truly a vibe. The bartender was very nice in explaining different drinks. They don't have food--except peanuts and sausage. But I'm sure most people come for the drinks and the vibe. 10/10 recommend.
google avatar

Amanda Z.

Yelp
Bloom's is lucky its a whole vibe and the drinks are so well made. $20 cocktails are not my favorite thing but I know this is the first stop and not the only stop so i'll get a couple rounds and be about my merry way. The booths are nice. The mirrors make the space feel larger and the bartenders are talented. Always have a nice time at Bloom's

Yelp
So this is actually a review of the last 4 times I've made it into Blooms. The moment it opened this year I knew I would love it but it quickly became my favorite bar in Baltimore. The beautiful thing about it's location is that you have options on other great sister bars to keep your night or day going. The ambiance is dark, sophisticated and sexy. The drinks are crafted and the waiters are themed. I cannot recommend this place enough. Honestly the only thing they are missing is live soft jazz performers.

Yelp
Blooms will ALWAYS have my heart. the vibe is so romantic and edgy. they staff is awesome and always accommodating, the drinks of course is a ten out of ten and its always a phot opp. there's no food but There's a restaurant right across the hall if you're hungry!

Yelp
Went on somewhat of a speakeasy tour with a friend recently. I didn't realize this is in the Ulysses Hotel but that turned out to be such a pleasant surprise. Upon entry, Bloom's is to the right. There's a restaurant on the left end but didn't get to check that out. It was a Monday night so there were only 3 other people in the entire bar area and that includes the bartender. Aesthetically, it reminded me of a 70s/80s movie with wealthy characters with gold fixtures and velvet everywhere. I absolutely loved the decor. It's giving Swanky Scarface and I'm here for it. We also loved our drinks and the customer service. We were hungry so we got a quick salty snack. There's no real food but we were just fine. Can't wait to return!

Yelp
In one word...lovely. Mellow sultry vibe, great cocktails, good service. Exactly what a solo sophisticate traveler is looking for post-conference day.

Yelp
This lounge is cozy and the ambiance is amazing. Great drinks! The Banana. Bread martini and the Jungle Bird are fantastic. Strong but flavorful. Great for solo travelers.

Yelp
The first time I came here we made reservations, but the second time we did not. The second time, I was definitely feeling my drinks prior so I'm not even sure how my date managed to get us in and a table, but we were able to! I literally would not stop raving about this place to my date! The music, the ambiance, the mirrors, the decor, everything about this place just screams cool lounge-y vibes which is totally what I've been into recently. I got the Feu Mejor the first time and it was so good I had to get it the second time as well! My date got an espresso martini which was pretty good! I would say however, the music wasn't that great the second time around. Not sure if it's because I was already turnt, or because it actually wasn't that great. But the first time, I was definitely vibing. If you want to go to a nice lounge, don't skip this place!

Yelp
Hands-down, the most beautiful bar that I've ever been to. Reservations are a must but you won't be disappointed. The ambience and decor is just so beautiful, it gives a 70s-80s Miami Vice vibe. Not a lot of food options but I do recommend the french fries and my friend loved the olives. You can easily forget how long you've been in there and what time it is. Super intimate lighting, perfect for a date. Highly recommend checking it out.

Yelp
Mount Vernon is quietly turning into the heart of the city's speakeasy scene. Bloom's is near the top of my list. I'm a sucker for Art Deco style, great service, comfortable seating , and interesting cocktails. All can be found here. Selections range from alcohol forward to more understated. Do yourself a favor and visit next time you're in Mount Vernon.

Yelp
I have been 3 times and all have been great, until my most recent visit where the service was less than desirable. We got a half filled room temperature glass of water that was never refilled during our 90 minutes there. The server checked on us minimally and it turns out our drinks were forgotten about, so took us probably 20-25 minute to get our drinks after ordering. They did offer us a free shot to make up for the wait, which was appreciated. Drinks were still delicious and fries were too! Drinks are pricey for Baltimore. Jungle bird is definitely more bitter than expected. Hoping this visit was a one off in terms of service, because my other times here have been wonderful.
google avatar

TaNeisha J.

Yelp
Sleek! And quite sexy if you ask me. Bloom's is located in inside the Ulysses Hotel, and is truly a bar. No small bites - just nuts and locally-owned spirits where the bartenders create great tasting cocktails. I didn't indulge in a mixed drink. I kept it simple with my usual tequila (reposado) on the rocks with lime. Bloom's is dimly lit, setting the ambiance with music/instrumental pieces playing in the background. The decor is well-done. If you're looking for something low-key, make a visit.

Yelp
Yes, yes, and more yes to Bloom! OMG, so mad this place has been in existence for at least 6 months and I had no idea about it! I went last night for the first time after attending a play at Center Stage. This bar is dark, so dark you kinda need your phone's light to read the menu, but in this case, I didn't mind. The walls and bar are mirrored and there are cozy banquet style chairs and love seats at about 3/4ths the perimeter of the room. The whole playlist was chill and fantastic. I found myself Shazaming all the songs I wasn't familiar with. And, even better, the music was at conversational level. The beer selection is pretty limited, but I was able to find one that suited my beer snobbery. My friend seemed to enjoy her cocktail, which I believed was an old fashioned. Bathroom was clean and the staff was super friendly. Not much more I could ask for! Until my next visit, which should be sooner than later!

Yelp
I highly recommend! Located inside the Ulysses Hotel. It's fairly new - about four months or so. Well the bar space. I'm not sure what was here before. This place is perfect for date night, girls' night out or after dinner drinks. The decor is very vintage. I like the vibes. Definitely IG worthy pics! Can definitely dress up or down. Do you! Thanks Paige and Dayo for your great service! I've been on a quest to explore more speakeasies/unique cocktail bars in Bmore, and this place was a great experience. There isn't food here, so don't come hungry! I believe the bar on the other side might have food, but please don't quote me on that. I came on a Wednesday with a friend, and it was surprisingly packed for a weekday. Reservations can be made ahead of time, so I'd suggest doing that. There are seats at the bar as well. The cocktail list isn't huge, but enough. I got the Fue Mejor - has reposado! Say less! I got a second drink - a mezcal margarita. Both were good to me. Not overly strong but well made. Fair prices for a nice cocktail bar! I would visit again.
google avatar

Misaki F.

Yelp
Really beautiful bar inside the Ulysses hotel (enter through the main entrance and take a right.) We went on a weekday night and almost all the booths were taken by the time we left! Both the drinks were really good and you can tell they were really well crafted! I would recommend stopping by after dinner in the area!
google avatar

Emoni S.

Yelp
I happen to be in the area and wanted a chill spot to go to with couple friends. A friend that lives in Baltimore recommended this cute place! At first it was hard to find, but it was inside the Hotel Ulysses. This place was SUPER CUTE and SEXY! It was different very picturesque and just adorable!! It's was giving very antique and had a lot of mirrors which is always a favorite. We didn't eat here, but I'm not even sure if they even provide food. We mainly came here for drinks. The drinks were AMAZING! I always order a French 75 and it was *chefs kiss* perfection! The right combination all around! I was pleasantly surprised and overall happy. There weren't a lot of people inside it was nice to have conversation and relax. The chairs were big and also comfy and I will absolutely be back. I already told a few people about this bar and hope to make it back soon!

Yelp
The next stop on our self-curated bar crawl was Bloom's. This place is the definition of opulent. Think roaring twenties, think Great Gatsby, think Harlem Renaissance, think champagne room; all of the above, it's giving. It's pink it's red it's sparkly and mirrored. It is absolutely Instagram ready. Again we didn't have a reservation so we had to get in where we fit in. We were able to be seated but they did inform us that if someone with a reservation came that we would have to vacate the space. Luckily we were able to leisurely enjoy our cocktails. This place is definitely for a special occasion. I highly doubt this is going to be anyone's neighborhood bar but then again I don't know your life and I'm not counting anyone's pockets but mine so do you boo! The drinks average about $20. If you're going to charge $20 a pop, the drinks better be good! And they absolutely were! Beautiful cocktails and beautiful stemware. If you're feeling fancy, this is it! Overall I would definitely say it is worth the splurge.

Yelp
After an amazing recommendation shared months ago, I finally made it to Blooms and I look forward to making it a staple stop when in Baltimore for a night out. Blooms for sure lived up to the expectations I had. Come with food already on your stomach as Blooms only serves bar snack foods (current options are olives, potato chips or almonds). I heard that their rosemary chips were delicious but they're no longer available and plain kettle chips are the current option. Service is phenomenal. Dio* (may not be the correct name, sorry) was on point. He was in charge of the music for at least that evening and he kept the vibe just right. Blooms is an intimate, small bar. The mirrored ceiling bar is centrally placed with cushioned red velvet chairs around the walls. We tried their newest addition to the menu, The Floor is Lava cocktail and it for sure brought the heat. The Il Tizio tasted like a coffee lovers dream. Not really my type of cocktail but it was interesting to try. Overall, fantastic hotel bar with a great intimate ambiance.
google avatar

Kelly C.

Yelp
Obsessed with this cute little spot! Visited on a whim while visiting Baltimore for a work trip. We arrived on a weeknight and didn't have a wait. Live music had just ended as we were seeing close to 9pm. Super sexy vibes with an intimate atmosphere and phenomenal cocktails. By far the best aviation cocktail I've had. I believe I overhear the mixologists name (Galvin). Would definitely recommend for an intimate date night or girls night out. Fantastic service by everyone that was working. Would definitely return.
google avatar

Yelp
Bloom's is a very inviting bar with a vintage disco aesthetic. It's like walking into a 70s movie. Lol. The drinks are well crafted and the bar eats pair well. The staff are very attentive and knowledgeable. Makes for great experience.

Yelp
Bloom's just opened up inside the brand new Hotel Ulysses in Mount Vernon. This place is incredible. It may be my new favorite cocktail bar in the entire city which is saying a lot since we have SO many good ones. The inside looks like what I imagine 1970s Las Vegas to look like. It's seriously like something out of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Mirrors on the ceiling, on the bar, and on the walls. Red velvet couches and bar stools. Every single detail has been thought through from the lobby to the bathrooms to the branded matchbooks (make sure you ask for one). Beyond the atmosphere, the drinks are phenomenal. They have amazing old fashions, martinis, and other creative cocktails. I'm obsessed. So much so that I've been twice in the past four days. The first time was to celebrate my birthday and I couldn't recommend it enough. We stopped in around 10pm on a Saturday and it wasn't overwhelmingly packed. We even got a table for our group of three within a few minutes since there were only two bar stools open. Prices are on the higher end but nothing too unreasonable. The three of us paid $15 each plus tip for our round of drinks. Not bad if you ask me. Writing this review pains me a bit because I know this spot is about to blow up the more people know about it because it's just THAT good. But I owe it to my Yelp fam to write this review. Cheers!

Rose P.

Yelp
Blooms is such a gorgeous speak easy. Such comfortable vibes inside and great drinks! I ordered the espresso martini. A bit on the pricier side but was worth it for the experience.
google avatar

Yelp
I know what you're thinking.....but hear me out. You deserve it. He/She/They are worth it. Trust me. This is a vibe and if you love yourself, you need to TREAT YOURSELF! Dyyo at the bar makes a wonderful cocktail served with charm.

Yelp
My first time here in this red satined, multimirrored high-end sister (brother? sibling?) bar to the food Ash Bar across the lobby of the newly opened Ulysses Hotel in Baltimore's famously designed yellow building at 2 E. Read and Charles Streets (empty former offices). There, I got that in one sentence! So, it's verhy posh and social-young here. Grew to like the dryish Bedrock Whole Shebang red (after two pricey glasses) and loved the house-made rosemary chips with sea salt, among three munchies. This is the kind of hotel-bar Baltimore needs to make up for various defunct bars, clubs and restaurants. Also enjoyed the professionalism and friendly and spunky (!) bar back banter. Definitely a keeper in the city. Stay tuned, people. Better yet, drop on by some night!
google avatar

Fatima A.

Yelp
Blooms has become my new favorite place! Inside is the definition of sexy and sultry, great for any date night or girls night! It can get busy so I would recommend a reservation but my partner and I have been several times and the staff is very accommodating. Drinks are delicious and they do sell some snacks! Bonus is Tuesday nights are jazz night for the foreseeable future!

Keshav K.

Yelp
Paige is the best bartender ever! Quite enjoy the "No Angel"- one of my favorite floral cocktails
google avatar

J L.

Yelp
I might need to give this place a second chance. I thought it would be bigger. It's an interesting vibe. Red velvet everywhere. It's not bad but not great. It's expensive.
google avatar

Beth B.

Yelp
This is such a cool and unique cocktail lounge with tasty drinks! The decor is so funky and the intimate setting is perfect for a date night. The servers and bartenders were very attentive and made sure we were happy with our drinks. I'll definitely be going back next time I'm in Mt. Vernon!
google avatar

Yelp
My friend and I were so excited to try out this new bar after hearing so many good things about it. To start the ambiance is fantastic. It really brings you back to an old Hollywood kind of feel with all of the decorations, and the mirrors all around us made the space feel bigger than it really was. The service was pretty good considering how packed it was and it felt like we were being attended to by servers who were excited to be there! We started with a round of drinks and I got the Midori sour. The drink itself was good, but it wasn't anything to write home about. I have seen more creative, better tasting drinks elsewhere. We also ordered of the almonds because we were hungry and they made for a tasty snack, but the portion size was quite small for 4 dollars. Overall, this is a nice experience to immerse yourself into a new bar with really cool ambiance to take a date, but based on the 1 drink I experienced, I wished the drinks were a little better. 5 stars for the ambiance 5 stars for the service 3 stars for the drinks and almonds
google avatar

Bharu J.

Yelp
My friend and I were staying at Ulysses so had to pop by here. Yes, drinks are pricey, but you're paying for well-crafted cocktails and the ambiance. The place has a dark (like the rest of the hotel), sexy, Interview with the Vampire vibe. I would suggest going there with a date rather than a group of friends.
google avatar

Christin M.

Yelp
The ambiance and the carefully crafted cocktails are the stars here! This cozy, classy space is a total vibe. The feel is early 80s - muted fuschia booths surround the bar, shiny gold fixtures and accents as well as mirrored ceilings. The bartenders and waitstaff wear white cropped tuxedo jackets with bolo ties! Shout-out to Paige, our server, who was sweet and attentive throughout our experience. The price of the cocktails ($11-$22) truly reflects the quality. Our view of the bar afforded us a runway show of sorts - we admired a beautiful display of intricate libations being prepared and served to patrons. Personally, I was absolutely smitten with the Leaf Peeper, not only a gorgeous beverage (the garnish appeared to be dried flower petals) but a delicious recipe of Apple Brandy, Spiced Cider, Bourbon, Egg White and Lemon. My single complaint is the paper used for the menu. While a glamourous choice, it's a reflective and shimmery gold colored paper, it's difficult to read in the dimly lit space. Even with candlelight on the tables and smartphone flashlights, my husband and I both found it tough to read the descriptions written in faint cursive. Overall a special experience and looking forward to more good times at Bloom's!

Yelp
WANT A REVIEW? My first impression: Safeword. Imagine walking in a venue, and before you even hear the music, the ambiance is giving you: The 1st 40 seconds of Janet Jackson's - Rope burn AND Jhene Aiko & 6lacks - First "ef" AND The second half of Beyoncé's- Partition(you know when she tells the driver to ... you know)! I mean, the minute, I walked in and felt like Coño - Jason Derulo was my theme music. Yeah. THIS PLACE IS SEXY! Sooo say it, BLOOM! (Did you use your sexy voice?) Well, use it, I'll wait. Yeaaaaaaah! Before you get excited about bites, they only serve drinks. No appetizers. And please don't bring a friend whose appreciation of mixed beverages stops at Grey Goose & Cranberry or Crown & Coke. This here is for big kids. Remember, I said Sexy. BLOOM SERVES really good, well thought out, creations. You'll remember your first, second and will ask for thirds. Fortify my liver, please, and thank you! Their mixologist are so educated and skilled they will make even the Oenophile a cocktail lover in two drinks (I saw it happen). I've tried almost everything, and this is destined to be in my bi-weekly rotation when in the city. What song would be in rotation? "Come Through and Chill" - Miguel & J. Cole And for good measure, I also had the Last Word;)

Yelp
Went to Bloom's for the first time this past weekend and I wasn't disappointed! Went on a Thursday night around 9 and there was plenty of seating before more people trickled in. The person at the door of the hotel and everyone behind the bar was super friendly. We were checked on throughout the night which was nice. The decor and ambiance of the place is top tier but it doesn't feel uptight or stuffy. Our drinks were very solid and filled to the brim lol. I think the bar staff should have some kind of cart or tray to deliver the drinks since the tables are on the small side. Overall the spot is great for a night cap and pictures with friends. It's be cool to see burlesque dancers in the space!

Yelp
It's such a vibe! Went here after a date for a little after dinner drink and ended up having two delicious cocktails and played Drag Bingo. We had a good time. We didn't have a reservation but was able to be seated. However, we were seated in an area that was already reserved, so we had to move. The server was extremely apologetic and gave us free shots for the inconvenience. Wonderful service, beautiful ambiance, and yummy drinks. I'll be back!

Great service from our server, Brody! Why did I want a flaming marshmallow with my dirty martini? I don't know! But he made it happen. If you're in the mood for something new, check out their signature cocktails or ask your server. The ambiance is... eclectic to say the least. Did Liberace decorate this place before he went? Maybe. Maybe not. The seats are velvety and the ceiling shines. Check it out yourself (just make sure you make a reservation!)

Yelp
Bloom's is located right inside the Ulysses Hotel. This newish cocktail bar really impressed me when I walked in. We came on a Wednesday night and there was still lots of seating. The inside is pretty dark so if that's not your vibe, don't come here. I got the jungle bird and my partner got the French martini. Both beautiful and tasty drinks! However be warned. We made the mistake of coming here hungry and there are only small snacks such as almonds and potato chips.

Yelp
I stopped by Bloom's with a friend after a concert nearby. Yes, it has style - it looks right out of the 1970s (mirrors and red velvet everywhere). And the hotel it is located in is gorgeous as well! The service was good (our bartender was very nice), and our drinks were pretty good, too. We were there on a Thursday night late, and I think this is the time to go. My friends went back a few days later (on a Friday or Saturday) and couldn't get to the bar. It's small and it will get packed quickly when people realize there's a place with so much 70s style near to so much in Mount Vernon. Definitely not an everyday place for me, but a good spot for a drink before or after dinner or a concert nearby.

Yelp
This bar is tucked away in the Ulysses hotel and has such a fun old school glam ambiance. We had no problem grabbing seats at the bar at peak happy hour on a Friday, and our drinks were ready soon after ordering. Their menu is limited and leans toward the pricier end, but the drinks are incredibly well balanced. They stick to the classics, and they definitely do them well. I wouldn't come hungry though- the portion size of the almonds were tiny!

Yelp
Beautiful space and great vibes. The bartender, Maja, was awesome. When we arrived there were no tables, but we got lucky with a couple seats at the bar. When we left, around ten, there were tons of people waiting. The jungle bird was delicious, on the tart side but not too overwhelming.

Yelp
Nice ambience. I usually on jazz night and have a drink. The staff are always welcoming. It was a great time.

Yelp
The menu was Verrrryyyy limited!! The drinks were good. And it was a many orgy in the booth next to us. The jazz was more blue grass but good.

Yelp
Newer cocktail bar located in the Ulysses hotel! I came here and got a cocktail while I waited for my table at Ash Bar to be ready. Once my table was ready they let us take our drinks into Ash bar with us. I ordered the il tizio cocktail (I think that's what it was called) which was like a whiskey, espresso martini. It is a little strong, but it tasted just as good as it looks. I really liked the ambiance and fancy, vintage feel of this lounge bar. I can't wait to come back and try some of their other cocktails.

Yelp
This would have been a five star rating because the customer service, ambiance, and music were a whole vibe; however, it fell short in a couple areas. 1. Due to the flamboyant design of this venue, I expected unique, exquisite drink selections. While they had beautiful glassware, the drink options were unexceptionally basic... Midori Sour as a featured drink?! Really... the bartender was amazing, and he constructed a delicious drink for me based on what I told him I liked. That was a plus, and they wear a really nice, crisp, fancy uniform. I liked that. 2. They have two bathrooms but only one was open. The handicapped bathroom was locked and the staff wouldn't open it even though there was a line and people had been waiting for a very long time. Because of which, a group of people were led to an upstairs bathroom... hmmmm... not customer conscious and not considerate of people with handicaps. I went on a Sunday and street parking was abundant. There is also a parking lot right next to it. The hotel, Ulysses, which it is located inside of, has valet. I think it's $25 for 3 hours.

Yelp
Amazing drinks and attentive service. The bar has the best 70'd vibes and it's well worth the price tag!
